ETA: Potentially may be setup for Drone/UAV Lidar systems, there is a calibration routine that involves a triangle. This may be for government controlled drones

More clarification:

LIDAR could use something like that, but it makes no sense.... LIDAR relies on lasers bouncing off something and the time differential between the send and the bounce (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lidar) (aka, distance finding)... so a specific decal or indicator would be completely useless for that type of system as they are reflection based, not recognition based.

I've been ****ing up threads lately like this, sorry... I've just worked with these systems and see the confusion surrounding them and want to clarify.

If I were to get conspiratorial I'd say that AI is much more dependent on visual markers like this than any conventional system...... if you follow me (Drones could be a part of this, but to what end or for what purpose... well this is far out of my wheel house and I'm just talking from the bottom of a bottle of wine...)

No i think you are right, that's why i said 'potentially'. I also thought that it could be some kind of mix between lidar and other more modern systems like the drones use these days, like there could be other markers around that no one has noticed (meant for the lidar specifically). And this one on the street looks like a "two way" marker, meaning it could be used by drones coming from both ways of the street, and there could be markers like the ones you describe, so in the case of a drone having to quickly reposition and map the zone, it could be 'potentially very helpful', see what i mean?

So in the case a drone comes flying fast and has to remap the zone and position correctly, it would find the markers on the floor and then also find the ones on the buildings around that 'reflect' back to the lidar, then it's absolutely positioned flawlessly and around everything else on that street. Does that makes sense?

Anyone have any idea of what this symbol might mean?

Markings ( unlike that one ) on UK motorways have been used ( for years ) as road speed photo markers when vehicles of interest are filmed from a helicopter above. The information extracted from the chase helicopter video can be used in a law court as solid evidence of the speed of the vehicle.

This road marking looks different but seems to also be about observation and recording from above.

Had a complete stranger probe me yesterday where complete strangers shouldn't, lol.
Colonoscopy...but he was charming and attractive so that helped...not!

Anyone who has had this knows how difficult it can be to get through swigging back 4 litres of liquid over three hours that would have been easier to do if its chemical component contained ethanol.

Anyway, the takeaway good part was the detox...can't believe I forgot how great this makes one feel!

The temptation for a nation to declare that it will legally embrace freedom from vaccine mandates must be huge. A country like Madagascar would experience a huge influx of skilled workers - and their money. It would thrive.

Hence any leader contemplating such is being made an example of.

I'm a sound engineer. Two/three months ago, after an eternity of applications and irregular projects and gigs, I finally managed to get a preety nice job as a venue technician in a jazz venue here in Barcelona. It wasn't greatly paid, but the place was nice, work was light enough, and gave me a small but regular salary to combine with other ocasional stuff. Overall a great way to earn little and grow.

Today the boss sent me a friendly voice message because he was told I didn't have the jab, and I should "go for it", since a law is being passed on Tuesday next week.

I don't even wanna get into a law discussion or if there are chances that It happens or not.

I just wonder if Sunday's will be my last gig there, or at all, Jesus.

Good luck B.

With this industry and that or governments trying to coerce, threaten and intimidate I choose to run not towards fear but towards love and light. As mentioned in 'dying on hills' (https://projectavalon.net/forum4/showthread.php?116873-Dying-On-Hills&p=1463916&viewfull=1#post1463916) thread, like DeDukshyn (https://projectavalon.net/forum4/showthread.php?116873-Dying-On-Hills&p=1463856&viewfull=1#post1463856) I am seizing the opportunity for improvement.

Now I'm taking advantage of good sunlight and just got done planting plenty of Spinach, tomatoes, chili, eggplant and some herbs. The fishing gear is getting new line and going out tomorrow for some new crab pots. If the tossers want to ban me from entering the supermarket and deny me their gmo monsanto riddled 'produce' well I'd just have to make do with my own home grown all natural food.

Haha funny seeing this 2m tall giant next to young girl on stage.

I'm in full support of our comedians pushing back to save their free speech and loved a lot of Isaac's material.   But imo he's pushed it a tad too far here by giving the "cancel police" fuel for their arguments.

There's a fine line in comedy that needs to be mastered and I think Isaac might need to practice it a bit more.

Venus as viewed through my 127mm Meade EQ & 32mm eyepiece with 2x Barlow lens. It is (after the moon) dominating the night sky at the moment even though so little of its surface is reflecting the light, it is close enough that just that crescent outshines everything.

https://projectavalon.net/forum4/attachment.php?attachmentid=48098&d=1639358656

It's a real struggle using a cheap universal bracket to line up cheap phone camera lens to the eyepiece on a cheap telescope.. I expect my future to be constantly trying find ways to continue being cheap on dodgy equipment, complain & scoff at subpar results... spend marginally more for the tiniest incremental improvement and rinse and repeat.

In 10 years I hope to share a semi decent picture with my fellow Avalonians. my brother while observing my persistent stubbornness told me a ancient Chinese proverb (not sure if it really is ancient or Chinese).. but goes like this.. Man who try save money pay 3 times.

That got my interest too, so I looked him up. (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zuby)

His full real name is Nzube Olisaebuka Udezue (so props to him for shortening it! :) ) — and he has a first class honors degree in computer science at Oxford University in England. (That's like Yale or Harvard in the US.) So this is quite some intellect... no gangsta rapper, him. No wonder Chris Martenson was impressed.

Had to visit Amazon.co.uk yesterday for something, when I went to checkout - you know they store your card details for ease of check out - the card listed there was a new one.

So, my current debit card is set to expire next month and my bank had already sent a new one but I was yet to use it anywhere, not even via a cash machine.

Amazon had those details and already removed my old one to replace with new. I definitely never gave the bank or Amazon permission to share such data, or did I? Well I probably did but not knowingly.

Freaked me out a bit nevertheless. Tip of the iceberg anyway if crypto and social credit score come into play.

I remember when credit was first being pushed. My brother-in-law, when we first met asked me how much credit line do I have. That was the first time I'd ever heard the term. Before that we would take our hat in hand and go beg for a loan from the bank.

It was just before the big free trade talks that has caused so much devastation in the west, with our industries moved over seas. But we had lots of free money.

Heck, every time I went in a bank after 2001, every time, they would ask me am I sure I don't want a line of credit. And by 2008 that massive increase in debt broke the banks.

Now, I cannot even compete for high priced items because those with their 'free' money have no problem paying a premium, that I can't match because I have to save the money first. And because most have valued their hard work so low, and do not care if they have to work another decade to pay their debts off, the price of everything has skyrocketed.

Credit is a slow killer, that only benefits the fake banking system and its owners, and those that do their bidding, including the many honest citizens who play their game, are the marks, the sheep to be fleeced.

Hello, Everyone, and a very Happy New Year — as we all hope and intend! :)

I don't often post here (though I drop by regularly!), but I thought this might be the best place for this. I went on a short mountain hike with Mara today: not a major one, but we were still up pretty high. There, my antennae are often extended, and sometimes there's quite a good signal.

To my genuine surprise, I found myself feeling very positive about this new year 2022. I'd not been expecting that. The clear sense I got was rather like emerging from a long dark tunnel into the welcome daylight.

Of course, we'll maybe quite soon know if this was just an illusion, a delusion, or some kind of wishful-thinking fantasy. But it felt significant enough that I thought I should maybe share it.

Jupiter just finished its Aquarius transit, which wasn’t quite as fortunate as earlier ones, due to the fact that Saturn was there also, and Saturn will continue to transit Aquarius until March 2023. Their energetic effects are opposite; where Saturn is restrictive, rigid, authoritarian, Jupiter brings expansion, opportunity, freedom, and lucky breaks.

Pardon me, I had the procession mixed up with the precession, it comes with pondering the great ages since the broken times.

I am convinced that the ancient systems are more recent thanwe think, and Hamlet's mill was broken in thousands, not tens of thousands of years, past.

Please, may we have a mundane chart for major transits and events?

Of course, we'll maybe quite soon know if this was just an illusion, a delusion, or some kind of wishful-thinking fantasy. But it felt significant enough that I thought I should maybe share it.

Hi Bill. Jupiter entered Pisces yesterday and this transit will last approximately one year. Jupiter completes one orbit very 12 years and so now it will bring fortuna major to Pisceans. Enjoy.

What happens when Jupiter enters Aquarius? Would it relate to the great age?

I love, by Jove, to log in and see ulli posting.

The most important label is to do with one’s self image, not a label that others stick onto your back.

Everybody has one, and their actions or inactions are determined by it.

The weird part is that the self image “I am a good conscientious citizen who follows government mandates” can never be replaced with “I am a pure blood”. Too late, ducky!

Once jabbed it becomes hard to admit that one was fooled. What kind of self -image is one left with then?

Yes, deception is never what one wishes for. And the scope of the current deception is in direct proportion to our capacity to find truth, and should be seen as a challenge, to unite as a collective.
Then the whole exercise will have been worthwhile.

Treated myself to a semi-decent astro-photography camera for Christmas and while too late now I think to redeem my previous poor Venus captures (going into transit), Jupiter is still there for a little while.. though running away westward and chasing a setting sun too.
Still.. not too dissatisfied with the end result... thousands of frames later and then stacked with magic software sorcery which I wouldn't even begin to pretend to understand yet, just faking it till I make it at this point... I guess the red spot was on the other side at this time.

Lots of truth here in this statement. I believe we were the ones that chose though. Yes, we were given whatever inspiration or knowledge and it was given to us to let us make an informed choice and choose our priorities so I believe the universe saw our possibilities but we still could have chosen being a part of this system over our own sovereignty. I always had a hard time understanding the biblical passage where Christ spoke of the meek will inherit the earth, but I think it is being played out right before our eyes.

Yes, Pam, my statement re “the chosen ones” does imply passivity on our part, I agree with you there.

So now I’m reminded of Phyllis Schlemmer’s book that has the title “The Only Planet of Choice”.

I read it many years ago, but can’t remember much of what was in there, but that title stuck.
That title makes one think, no?

If this is supposedly the ONLY planet of choice, what does that say about other worlds?
No choice; no free will?

Is that why there is this attempt by ETs to make our world like theirs?

If they succeed in this, then souls will have no more chance to escape the limitation of the physical, and find a way to higher spiritual realms.

So, one wonders if those spiritual beings from the non physical realms would allow this take-over of our planet, which would change its fundamental purpose forever?

Hard to imagine.

Everyone is at different levels in their stance to what is happening in this world.

What to make of my Buddhist friends, very enlightened and disciplined people, but have no worries regarding the mandates, and go along with them.
After all, the Dalai Lama got the jab.

Even though I’m on a spiritual path I decided long time ago that I need to show the universe that I’m willing to involve myself in whatever this earthly life throws at me, and make an informed decision as to what stance to take.

So what do I do to stay informed? Even though I study astrology it is way too complex to give me the full picture, and thus I feel limited because I am aware of my ignorance of many of the myriad facets it has to offer. Plus humans have to power to rise above the stars.

Even though that line up in Capricorn did bring exactly what it offered, astrological, namely the heavy handed government mandates we are still seeing now.
Combined with Neptune in Pisces, both of which govern infectious diseases, as well as deception.

All invisible ethereal stuff comes under Neptune’s influence, not only angelic activity, but also lower entities that want to deceive.

Anyway, to come to the point of this post….I love Clif High’s musings more than any other personality who thinks aloud on the web.

'Impartial' was what came to mind at first. This is sort of a boring word but I think it helps describe the midpoint. I doubt it will go viral.

I prefer the middle points as a perspective of moderation. I was accused of being impartial by not selecting the hard left or right to voice my political views in a forum [no longer online] that was prone to intense political leanings. The accuser recognises only two choices, the left or the right and thinks one should make a choice based on those two. But I think there is tremendous value in the middle. It seems to be a little difficult finding centrist thinkers. I find that impartial in this sense was not effective because it implies a lack of care, which isn't the case with me.

After checking with my handy thesaurus I find 'uninfluenced', 'selfless', 'moderate'.

I always ask “who is behind it”? or “what is behind it”?

And “what is their intent and motive”?

And the answers come, as in “Seek and ye shall find”. People ought to try doing that more.

Clif High came to the same conclusion I came to, and he calls it the Bug. Some mantis type of creature that is creating all this crap we are seeing, and is trespassing into our collective mind.

But if we cane remember, even vaguely remember, that this earth is our home, and we have access to some immense power plant run by the creator of the multiverse, then we can defend everything we hold dear.

Small groups, united in their vision, can form a formidable front against uninvited invaders and predators.

Years ago this thread had played such a role, doing great healing work, as well as smashing a hurricane, IIRC.

My wish now is that we can regroup and continue with that work, as it is now more urgent than ever to expose the culprits, and warn and protect their prey.

I’ve always liked that word “impartial”, it is a perfect attitude to carry in order to become an effective beacon of higher energies.

But Fearporn and Hopium don’t describe attitudes, they describe messages, meassage that are designed to mislead, that are fake, and manipulative.
So the word I’m looking for has to be a noun, an noun that expresses truth, power, but is not boring by any means.

My mind is drawing a blank. Maybe it will come in time.

Truthiness

I love that word.

Of course, if Dubya had been a playful linguist people might pick it up more quickly, as a third option placed between fearporn and hopium.

“Let’s go Brandon” will never become a serious war cry because of its association.

But then again, by now hardly anyone remembers Dubya, so it could work after all.

Now, the next call goes to Paula Running Deer. Where is Paula? We need Paula.
Is she on her three week long coffee break?

And what about Carmody? Has anybody heard from him? Is he alive?
We need Carmody, even if only for that transcendental music he used to post.

Ulli:

Everyone is at different levels in their stance to what is happening in this world.Hello Ulli, good to talk with you again, it’s been a while. The middle word between fearporn and hopium is a subject that has been on my mind too. I have a few ideas, albeit nothing remotely viral in these unhealthy times. Digging deep leads towards total synonymy where ultimately anything and nothing will do – so let’s see how many half-suggestions I can pack into a single post :)

Let me being by stating the problem. Fear and hope are reptilian brain negative/positive personal emotions or tensions relating to negative/positive expectations regarding future outcomes. When these emotions or tensions run high they become contagious, which is what we mean by fear-porn and hopium.

This suggests that by relaxing these personal emotions or tensions, we can avoid the spread to the corresponding tensions of collective fear/hope and even produce a contagious laid-backness. So, one way would indeed be impartiality, which involves balancing the positive and the negative. It is a bit of give and take; unfortunately we have no slack on the positivity with which to reduce the negativity. All-out optimism is not the answer, except perhaps locally. In other words, hopium cannot overcome fear-porn; at best they are in deadlock. The impartial judge passes judgement: but how many mistakes does s/he make, I wonder?

Another way would be to do away with all expectations. You yourself, dear Ulli, came up with a useful concept which maybe did not go viral in the broadest sense, but certainly had an effect on this forum: you call(ed) it the… ‘here and now’.
When in the day do we really enter the here and now? At night when we go to sleep. Hypnagogia is the state where we switch off today’s worries and disconnect tomorrow’s. It strikes me as a valid term to describe the here and nowness. Alternatively, you may prefer something more removed from drowsiness; try the corresponding hypnopompic state in the morning, when the day ahead is still the future but not yet a matter of concern or delight. Hypnopompia could describe the impartial state that usually… disappears with the first splash of water or cup of coffee.

The Chinese have the phrase ‘wu wei’, which is a cornerstone of Taoism, and means ‘inaction without inertia’. Unfortunately the difference is wafer-thin between something desirable and efficacious and something that is neither of those things. I have two (French) translations, one by a Chinese describing the (in)action of a ‘Saint’, another by a westerner, describing how an effective politician best deals with social unrest through conservative non-intervention, in other words the kind of laissez-faire that has caused untold social unrest around the world. Leaving aside obscenities, ‘wu wei’ has to be one of the concepts with the most English approximate synonyms, one of the better ones being ‘effortlessness’.

What we perceive as effortlessness is often an unusual combination of superior talent and extremely hard work feeding off each other – the hardness being softened by superior motivation. So it is a ‘here and now’ developing over time: what we call skill, and the acquisition thereof. This is a concept that we do not normally apply to living itself, but to my mind such a living-skill/artistry/creativity is what is most sorely lacking at this time on this planet. It would seem to be the first thing that comes to the mind of a putative interstellar being discovering a new world: is there ‘intelligent life’ here? And the first answer that might come to mind could be, ‘Possibly: hang on a minute, it’s touch and go.’

Checking out a planet might start with climate. I have a thermometer which records maximum and minimum temperatures as well as noting the current temperature. When I see +40 and -20 simultaneously on the same dial, I know these are neither today’s nor tomorrow’s values but extremes from two winters and three summers ago. It is a kind of miniature ice core sample, with two kinds of fear porn, one at either end (burn or freeze). This would place hope (whether real or hopium) in a central, supposedly ideal position, a reactionary harking back to the good old days when climate was one long, cool, wet English summer/winter. So what is going on here?

Arthur Koestler in The Ghost in the Machine discusses evolution and its dead-ends, the supposition being that the universe has space and time enough to explore every possibility. He describes a (real) animal having its brain cells built around its alimentary canal. It can survive, just as long as it doesn’t evolve. But as soon as it starts growing a decent brain, it will starve itself to death and extinction. Meanwhile, humans have a tiny reptilian brain which kept us going for millions of years, and now faces being stifled by a state-of-the-art neocortex. What follows is my thinking, not necessarily Koestler’s.

The aforementioned animal could somehow decide that evolution is not a good idea and backtrack to its earlier successful state. The problem with this is that it presupposes intelligence that is simply not there at this stage. Evolution would appear to be in one direction only, in other words time-based. Hence anything truly reactionary (as opposed to usage of the word as a mere insult) would be a step in the wrong direction – i.e. towards a dead-end. It would seem we have been doing a lot of this in the past century or two.

The overall position is this: an evolutionary dead-end, like any dead end, is an open road, until it isn’t. You have to go down the road to find out, verify the blockage – or possibly overcome it, because equally an open road is a dead-end, until it isn’t. The introduction of the neocortex is a whole new ballgame: conscious evolution, or evolution of consciousness, means that we are the agents of our own evolution, possessing this wonderful power tool. And we have this sophisticated and highly effective animal basis on which to operate. The outcome is not a foregone conclusion, you have to give it your best try to have any hope of making it work. Correction, taking a sledgehammer to a nut IS a foregone conclusion, but the idea is still to miraculously extract the wholesome nut from the nutcase. So you start by accepting both these things, rather than using one as a tool to do away with the other, whether it be dumbing-down or smartening up.

People, active thinkers and passive feelers, are more attuned to one side or the other of the usual dualities. The fear can therefore be very real and its spread merely shows that the reptilian brain’s detection and communication systems are still functioning properly. Others are fully on board with the neocortex, and exploring its potential for growth, extending to AI and ultimately to all matter as intelligence hardware. This is perceived, indeed experienced, by the collective reptilian brain as such things as a population explosion, mass immigration, a cancerous growth, a killer virus or a diabolical worldwide conspiracy. This is an automatic alarm system to trigger an immediate response and, I have to say, you do this by crying out among all the everyday uncertainty, This is the Truth! Yet, to the extent that the collective neocortex has switched off this automatic alarm system, such reactions are dismissed as alarmist, extremist, fake news, or crazy conspiracy theories.

The bottom line is that truth-seeking is all well and good, but it remains a belligerent in this conflict between the little old brain and the big new brain. Clearly, if one follows the path of conflict, the little old brain has no chance, despite its vital role as conscience as opposed to consciousness. historically, or rather prehistorically, it always dictated the correct response to a given situation: that is being overridden; this is a very big deal, and my own reptilian brain hesitates to acquiesce (rather like that Russian general whose better judgment overruled the announced arrival of nuclear warheads).

Pacifism and serenity on the other hand would be a way to downplay the conflict and level the playing field. Politeness is the everyday way of dealing outwardly with one’s inner turmoil, or someone else’s, without getting into unpleasant arguments. One way of being polite is simply to accept that one rarely has enough information to make a truly informed opinion. I would define politeness as a neocortex reaction disguised as a reptilian brain reaction, in other words a case of infiltration, which is sometimes going to be detected as spyware; a pity, given that we are talking about the same human entity. Too many people speaking ‘their truth’ is a tremendous source of noise and misunderstanding – a little ‘diplomacy’ will provide a little lubrication in most situations.

As I see it, wu wei was devised at an earlier stage of our evolution as a method of calming a primitive state of these fears and other emotions, but now is both rejected as woo woo and perverted into laissez-faire conservatism unleashed, presumably because it is seen (not entirely incorrectly) as the neocortex overriding the reptilian brain function. Depending on your viewpoint, you might see this process as a collective NDE or a collective birthing. From a higher perspective, the idea of an awakening encapsulates both sides – except that there are not really two sides, it is much messier than that, with thinkers and feelers on both sides of any conflict. The ‘evil controllers’ who are driving the AI revolution – which CS Lewis presents interestingly as worship of a severed head – are the same people with reptilian responses on overdrive – financial greed, power grabbing and every kind of hedonism are all just fear on steroids, self-preservation gone mad, no control even of self, like headless chickens. Headless chickens being obvious candidates as worshippers of severed heads. So it is about keeping one’s head on one’s shoulders – you might call it personal integrity.

Confucius was right: no one is in control any more than anyone else: the ‘human race’ is not about getting ahead, not even morally or spiritually. Equanimity, forbearance, patience, we already know the human values that work; they are constructed through thought based on experience and refine reactions based purely on animal instincts. Of course there is no one word to describe what is going on. We are almost insignificant members of a huge team trying to pull together without quite knowing how or whether we can achieve a desired outcome, without quite knowing what. We may be poor players in a winning team or good players in a losing team; no matter. What matters, come what may, is team spirit, otherwise the game is not worth playing.

‘The way of the Master consists in doing one’s best and in using oneself as a measure to gauge others. That is all.’ Open-mindedness, commitment, altruism, harmony, you get my drift: no more paradoxes or misunderstandings. So this post and the term I’ve been looking for both turn out to be my… ‘best shot’.

A happy new year to all: I hadn’t noticed when writing this the reunion of old friends taking place. Perfect timing.

Hello araucaria and a Happy New Year to you.

The issue I face right now is this…. I feel myself being challenged.
Let my clarify:

I had asked for one word, ONE WORD!!

Is this your best (sniper) shot, or are you using an AK-47 hoping that one of the many bullets will hit bull’s eye?

But to be more diplomatic…I take responsibility for finding myself perplexed at your epistle.
With my 73rd birthday coming up any day now I’ve done some soul searching,
and find that my attention span has become rather short. So at first I was just skimming over the paragraphs of your post, but could not find the word I had been looking for.

But since it’s you, and showing up in our mossy village when I’m sitting here waiting for visitors and village dwellers I was pleased to see your avatar, and so I finally did go the extra mile and read every word.

I must say your post is full goodies; the product of a deep thinker.

Just one clarification about Fearporn and Hopium, as I see those terms….they are not emotional states, as you described them. Emotional states would be called fear and hope.

Instead they are directed mental bio weapons, designed to mislead the public into states of false emotions. To me those terms denote manipulative psychological mind rapes. Fritz Perls, founder of Gestalt Therapy called it Mind F.cks.

If one wants to impact another mentally, in a way that is free from ulterior motives of deception and misleading, then the only way is via the truth, one that comes near something that is absolute.

And in my view every human has a hidden antenna that can pick up absolute truth when it presents itself, and that is sent forth with a motive of doing no harm.
What I wanted was a single word that matches the brevity of the two extreme terms of fearporn and hopium, but hits the center between the two.

“Everything works by the law of attraction”, is one of my firm beliefs.

And the other is “Where focus goes, energy flows”.

But somehow I can’t seem to see these laws working right now.
Patience, ulli, patience.

I must have the timing all wrong…and my sense of urgency was misplaced.
Then it creates blockages, and walls of dust.

I’ll be back, said the Arnold.

You distinguish between emotions and weapons. I’d say emotions are being weaponized, because everything is being weaponized, including ‘truth’, and often involuntarily. My saying so almost comes across as some kind of terrorist attack – almost, but not quite. Stand clear: Lewis’s tower of Babel of murderous gibberish is upon us.

Happy birthday Ulli.

Hi Ulli, it is interesting that you mention the law of attraction as I am currently focusing all my energy on exploring/understanding the four main Universal Laws which are:

1. The Law of Attraction - like attracts like.

2. The Law of Deliberate Intent - what is intended and held resolutely within thought, word and deed manifests.

3. The Law of Allowance - allowing what is intended to manifest while using the observer mode to be awake and aware while continuing to hold the focus without being rigid as to the outcome (allowing thought to think!).

4. The Law of Balance - applying the first 3 laws and focusing within the present moment.

I think you have, without realising it, answered your own question about the law of attraction when you say "I must have the timing all wrong". It is time itself which is causing the apparent problems with attraction... Also interesting is that 'patience' is akin to the Law of Allowance.

The concept of time is in reality a no thing. It is an invention of the mind or ego recorder so that the events of experience can be perceived, analyzed and recorded. Inasmuch as the energy vibrates at such a slow rate at the 3rd dimensional level, this process is at such a slow rate that it appears to be in sequential order so that chaos is not experienced within the recording process.

It is necessary that this be understood so that the concept of the new paradigm coming into existence when it is perceived is understood. When a sufficient number of mental foci desire to create this experience for themselves, it begins its manifestation process within the flow of creational thought energy. It literally already exists, it is just that the energy flow is so slow that it is not perceived or brought into the experience at the 3rd dimensional level until the sum of vibratory oscillations reaches the total necessary to manifest into realized experience.

As each understands the density of earth’s surrounding space and the slow rate of the humans experiencing in that space, it is possible to grasp the understanding of why it appears to be a time oriented process. In excessively simple terms, the thought process travels outward into the aqueous (fluid like) energy of the creational flow at a much more rapid pace than it returns as manifested reality.

The focused thought process when fueled by emotion moves quickly through creational energy. As it leaves the dense field of energy, it becomes finer or vibrates more rapidly. It is the return trip, so to speak, in the manifestation process that slows in its oscillation rate. The law of attraction magnetizes the object of the focused thought that was “sent out into the creational field of energy” and it is returned to the point of origin.

When the point of origin is vibrating at the slower rate, it appears within the sequential time orientation to manifest very slowly. If during this sequential experience, the focus is withdrawn or sufficiently weakened, the magnetic attraction process is aborted.

The challenge to all of us who love life is how to come to terms with the portal of transformation.
Intellectually I have been converted, after getting many messages from the beyond, as irrevocable proof of their survival, and now know that life continues in the invisible worlds.
But emotionally I am a wreck, currently suffering anxiety about my 93 year old mother in law.

I want to take your hand so that we can comfort one another.

I made a pact with my mum, before she passed over in 2006, to send me signals.
It worked, and I received endless messages; proof that she was always nearby.

Not so many now, 15 years later, but the first few weeks after her death there were so many that it blew my mind.

No. Not a rebuke nor tone of any sort, iota. It was a respectful request to protect my privacy.

Checking with ulli prior to posting doesn’t solve my concern with your project. 2670 pages (53,000+ posts) on the H&N is a lot to dig through, which is why I worked backwards from ulli’s ‘about page’ and the public calendar, that is after I checked mine.

No. Not a rebuke nor tone of any sort, iota. It was a respectful request to protect my privacy.

Checking with ulli prior to posting doesn’t solve my concern with your project. 2670 pages (5300+ posts) on the H&N is a lot to dig through, which is why I worked backwards from ulli’s ‘about page’ and the public calendar, that is after I checked mine.

To clarify, it wasn’t a post about ulli’s birthday. I lead in with the example to go on to explain my situation.

ok, but not kinda sure why since nothing about was about you?

not really sure what is going on with you or undestand too well

i'm sorry you let your imagination run away with you as i understand that you imagined some impending threat to you personally?

and posting publicly which kinda DID put you "front and center" and kinda DID create a bit of imaginary drama around something not for you or related to you?

or what you are talking about the need to go through 2670 pages (5300+ posts)??

this was just ONE page back ... EVERYONE saw ... ?

please ..it's ok ... everything is all right ..

nothing is wrong, ok?

:flower:

THIS is ALL that happened:

i saw this:

Thank you Ulli and all.

Happy birthday Ulli.

i checked wth Ulli to verify ..

and then did a lovely post

that's it

please put your mind at ease

and, nothing for someone else is about you or to do with you, i promise, ok?

and i'm sorry for whatever it is i did that upset you ..

i hope the rest of your day is nice!

Dear Iota, I loved your birthday video very much.
It’s a keeper, and I’m going to make some of my Latino friends very happy with it when their birthday comes along.

But please, don’t read stuff into Paula’s posts that isn’t there. Your reactions to what she wrote show a lack of self censorship.

Now that Bill finally acted on people’s suspicions and ousted the dung heap from the entrance gate I hope we can all return to the original premise of this thread…
using the power that is in our respective here and now reality to give each other an uplift and focus on raising our consciousness.

I’m not someone who pushes for consensus.
I believe consensus happens automatically when we share our hopes and dreams, allowing one another the space they need to function in a social setting, and realize the unity without diversity becomes uniformity.

No uniforms allowed here, not even “Here and Now…What’s Happening?” t-shirts.

Here in Costa Rica they started jabbing children age 5 to 11 on Tuesday this week.
Today, Friday, already more than 30 hospitalized and one died.

Also today, a 35 year old guy jogging in the city park was found dead on the lane.

This country is proud to be the first to vax kids under 11.
President Alvarado is one of Klaus Schwab’s Young Global Leaders.
Costa Rica needs prayers, urgently.

Hmmm....I wouldn't be quick to believe the numbers that governments post about these things. They might show a large number of people accepting the needle to make other people who are questioning it more comfortable so they accept it themselves.

Actually I can believe it. I suspect it is similar here in Germany.
My neighbour's 16 year-old has been vaccinated against her parents' advice. She said it was just too hard not to take the jab because there would be all kinds of restrictions for her if she hadn't got it. For example, if a single pupil in one of her many classes tested positive, she herself would have to stay at home for the following 2 weeks which would make it almost impossible for her to keep up with her studies. She's very ambitious and working very hard to get a good grade average in her A-levels, so she feels she cannot afford to miss any classes.
She also reckons it makes no difference whether she does it now or in 2 years, because you can't get into university anymore without it.
The pressure they are putting the kids under is unbelievable.
And then there is also the peer pressure the kids experience. She was the only unvaxxed one for a while and kept getting bullied for it.

Only we can save ourselves, but it seems too late...

Wait, I think I understood your message.

I'm distraught with all that is happening.

I think I need some sleep which is hard for me lately. By the time I get to sleep, I sleep for 3 to 4 hours and then I'm up with my thoughts.

I've been having horrible dreams for weeks now and last night was the first night that I had wonderful dreams.

I really appreciate everyone's patience with me

Thank you Icare. I finally got to spend time with him today. He is in a nursing home for rehab. His heart has fallen back into rhythm through medication. He still has the infection but is being treated by strong antibiotics. His dementia has worsened since his fever but he has hints of his former personality peeking through. All in all he seems to be on the mend. This weekend my family and I are going to make him a fidget board with switches to flip and wheels to wind and other thing that move and make noise. He used to be very active and he seems to have nervous energy that he needs to burn. Hopefully we can come up with something that helps with this and stimulates his mind as well. I am very grateful for all of the kindness, prayers and healing that has been sent on his behalf! Thank you so much, Icare!

Healing prayers work, and coming back here has helped me regain my faith in the Principle of Goodness.

Working for good outcomes in tandem or as a group is sooo much more powerful than one single person doing it.

May your dear father continue on the road to full recovery, including his full mental capacities.

Thank you Ulli! Wise words from such a wonderful and wise friend. He has a long road ahead to regain his cognitive ability. I am surprised at how little things set him off and make him curse out loud as he rarely did that before. To be truthful I was embarrassed that he had outbursts and little fits in anger until the nursing staff told me that is common in dementia patients. Then as I sat and listened I heard many people yelling in other rooms perhaps out of the same frustrations. We know the owners of the home and they are very good to their patients. We have had loved ones in this home and they treat them like family so it is not the facility. I am beginning to think it is the state of mind rather than the environment that causes these outbursts. We will deal with his ill content and just be grateful that he is with us. It was touch and go there for a few days and we are just happy he pulled through. Thank you, Ulli, for being you and for caring so deeply! Much love!

It's good to read he is on the mend, heretogrow, and I completely agree with ulli, healing prayers work.

I read about a study proving this published in Psychology Today years ago.
It seems to work best when it's a whole group of people that do it.

The one time it doesn't work , at least that is my own personal experience of a few years ago, is when it is simply that person's time, when that person has fulfilled his/her her personal blueprint of his/her life as planned before this reincarnation.
And that has nothing to do with age, as I learned back then.

I will keep sending you healing light and wish you many more happy times with him. :flower:

Heretogrow I am glad to hear of improvements in your Dad. I remember when my dad was going through some difficult times healthwise, I noticed some of those mental symptoms could come and go. Sometimes just toxins, liver imbalance, even electrolytes or blood sugar level changes after a bout of illness could bring on mental symptoms, and when things got better and more balanced with his health he could return almost to normal again. Let us hold space for big improvements

Julia, My dad had a UTI with Dementia. UTI's for some reason do a psychological number on those quite advanced in years. Often they don't have the classic signs like burning upon urination so it is frequently hard to figure out. Many times it is thought to be a stroke at first because it can have the mental effects. I don't know where he lives when well but the simple sugar D-mannose is a godsend for preventing and getting rid of UTI's caused by E Coli which is bacterial contamination from the bowels. It is great because it is not really a medication. It is a single molecule simple sugar that actually binds to the E coli bacteria so it can't stick to the bladder wall. Not all, but most UTI's are caused by E coli. I always keep some around just in case. If I ever feel the inkling of a UTI I use it as a preventative. Check it out on line.. It's the best and it tastes good too. It's very effective at warding off use of antibiotics and creating resistan strains of bacteria. I'm sorry you and your dad had to go that stress. I remember vividly what it was like and it was very challenging and sad. Wishing you the best, Pam

A couple of the tiniest, most trivial anecdotes from yesterday that might raise a smile — if anyone needs one. :bearhug:

But (a) they may be a sign of our times, and (b) Ulli (also in a Latin American developing country, Costa Rica), might smile too in recognition of the anomalies here.

Yesterday, I went for a high mountain hike with Mara for a couple hours. Nothing strenuous, but we were up at 12,500 ft in the middle of absolutely beautiful sunny nowhere. There was a strong fresh wind blowing, and the UV levels were extreme. I was pretty sure the nearest human being must have been a good two miles away or more.

But I was wrong. I rounded a corner on the open mountainside trail and in front of me was a young man with a small boy, both protected with covid masks.

"No másca!" he said accusingly, and stared at me.

"Si, no másca," I agreed. "No peligro." ("No danger.")

I smiled and nodded at him as he glared at me, and walked on.

A couple of hours later, I was back in town and passed a supermarket, where vaxx certificates now have to be shown to enter. But I knew the guy at the door wasn't always there, so I decided to chance my luck.

As I walked through the door, the entrance guard came out of the shadows. I'd not seen him.

"Certificado de vacunacion?" he asked me.

"No," I replied politely, and just stood there.

"Gracias", he said, and waved me through.

Good one, Bill. That could have easily happened in Costa Rica as well.
One part of the population live in fear and terror, and one hears frequently the saying “que susto!!”, and “ que miedo!!” How frightful, how scary.
And whatever “people” say they do. People being aunties and grannies who watch the news.

The guy in the supermarket represents law-enforcement, which can be slack in Latin countries.
He probably didn’t want to tackle the Gringo and was waiting for the easier target of the que susto- que miedo people.

Here the government wanted to start QR codes by December 1st, but couldn’t get the logistics ready in time. The next date was January 15, 22, but by then the courts had already forbidden them as unconstitutional. The few restaurants who demanded them quickly changed policies, as no one had installed the app on their phones.
But masks are mandatory in all public places. And people are so used to wearing them that they never ever take them off.

This is part of a post and it's also fits Here and Now: I was explaining how my go to resource people and places have shrunk to smaller than teeny-tiny.

Here's the rest of the post:

Just before that thread and the weeks leading up to it, I had established healthy patterns like no tech and sometimes no music. I just sat and watch the appreciation for everything bubble up from inside. And the flashes of insight had never left, I just forgot to pay attention. Oh! and books, the kind you hold.

And when I went to bed, there was no impeding concerns or "shoulda done, shoulda said, shoulda not said on the forum". I slept like a baby straight through the night. It's been years since that kind of deep sleep. Some nights turned into nine hours, whereas I'd usually be up at least once.

Gonna get back to more of those patterns. I forgot that's what it's about. http://paula.avalonlibrary.net/smilies/come-from-behind.gif

Re mask wearing... I had a lovely "mask" experience yesterday.

Middle aged lady was wearing mandatory mask when she came to the counter to serve me.  I wasn't.  I have an exemption thanks to a great GP.

We chatted and I thought any minute now I'll probably get the standard mask reminder.  But when I looked up, after getting money out, I was pleasantly surprised to see she had pulled her mask down under her chin.  She then continued chatting with what looked like a sigh of relief for the reprieve.

YESS.

Everyone is so fed up with those mandates.

It has always been a plandemic.

Yeah gives ya a real tingle of joy bubbles when you see it.

I do feel a bit guilty though when I get an occasional salute from someone for not wearing a mask because they don't know I'm not going to cop a $5,000 fine whenever I'm bullied by the security guards.

But, I do have to endure being scrutinised every second I'm out in public with stares, glares, and side stepping, as if I've got bloody leprosy. And the occassional verbally abusive "Karen's" are a nuisance.  So I tell myself it's a good enough show of defiance now that some thumbs up attitudes have joined the choir.

I had fun today.

Went to the bank to see about a bank transfer to India for some Ivermectin only to find out I had been cleaned out. On January 14 there were multiple withdrawals from Apple.com, each for $23 - a whole stack of them. They left me $13 in the account. Stole over $500! For some that might not be much. For us, while I'm off work, with my son-in-law and his massive appetite staying with us for awhile because he's down and out, it is a significant hit. Luckily I had just gone shopping so we have food. No cash though until next week.

I think I'm being given a taste of what awaits us in the near future.

Now I gotta go. I need to go bum a smoke on the street corner...haha

California RN Whistleblower: Patients are being murder to harvest their organs. The human body is worth 65 million dollars. A heart is worth 1.4 million. The transplant department has tripled. The waiting list use to be long, but now it only takes a couple of weeks to get an organ.

human skin - $10/inch
stomach - $500
eyeballs - $1,500 each

Our whistleblower says she sees the same pattern repeat over and over: Patients get put on remdesivir and another deadly “medicine,” Vancomycin, which also damages the kidneys.

Nobody is getting adequate nutrition or IVs. Nobody is given a nebulizer. Nobody gets antibiotics. The patients would end up dying from this, then the doctors rush in.

Murder for money: The payout comes from insurance or government (tax payer funded). Doctors get bonuses for injecting the vaccine.

The total amount per patient is approximately $100,000. The hospital gets paid for:

a positive covid test
to admit a covid patient in ICU
to administer remdesivir
to use a ventilator
pronunciation by covid death

I haven’t been active on this thread because my initial wish is coming to pass in many other threads on this forum. Which was to have a gathering of regulars who focus mentally and emotionally on bettering or improving the current situation, and to make the transition to a new world more bearable.
Also many of the old regulars here seem to have left the forum, while new members are doing a great job carrying the torch.

Anyway, I’m happy to see Meeradas’ post.

Compared to what's happening across the world, it's a small problem. Though, for me in the here and now, as much as I dislike the thought... I'm feeling old(er).

This Week's Covid Positive News ✨

🌍🔆 @covidpositivenews:

Here are the positive stories we covered this week that everyone should be talking about. 🥳

1) Japan becomes one of the first countries to decide no vaccine will be given without consent and calls for its people not to discriminate.

2) Czech Republic becomes the first EU country to decide Covid vaccinations will not be mandatory in their country.

3) Global media starts admitting biased reporting as the leading tabloid newspapers in Germany and Denmark apologise for following their governments' fear-focused false Covid narratives.

4) England scraps the digital Covid pass and no longer requires proof of vaccination.

5) Spain calls for the EU to end digital Covid tracking, allow debate among health professionals and now considers Covid as an endemic milder virus like the flu.

6) The German federal government declares the pandemic to be officially over in Germany.

7) Illinois student demonstrates critical thinking among the youth today by challenging her own school board's lack of critical thinking for supporting mask measures in Illinois state.

8) Scientists, non-profits and every day concerned citizens start questioning the serious side effects associated with Covid vaccines as billboards go up across the the United States.

9) Ivermectin is scientifically acknowledged as unequivocally effective in reducing Covid infections, hospitalisations and deaths thanks to a meta-analysis of existing studies.

10) The Brazilian government confirms ivermectin reduces hospitalisation and mortality after carrying out the largest ivermectin Covid study in the world.

11) Scientists invent a purely plant-based chewing gum that stops SARS-CoV-2 (https://t.me/covidpositivenews/24) entering the body

12) Cannabis plant compounds such as CBD are being increasingly studied for their abilities to prevent Covid () from penetrating human cells.

13) CBGA and CBDA compounds have also been found to inhibit infection .

14) 146 studies confirm if you or people you know have been infected with Covid, you/they have longer-lasting immunity against future infection than any existing vaccine.

15) Numerous scientific studies investigating the various ways nature improves mental and physical issues caused or exacerbated by the Covid pandemic conclude that spending more time in green spaces significantly boosts mental and physical health during these stressful, uncertain and fear-focused times.

Get out in nature and enjoy your day of rest 😊✨

More positive news about the Covid pandemic next week!

48370The whole world should have the option of buying hydroxychloroquine, ivermectin, and a z-pack at the local corner store, but the psychopaths in power used the legacy media, big tech, and a captured medical system to shutdown all cheap and effective treatments.

Instead of using generic, repurposed antivirals, anti-inflammatories, anti-coagulants, and antibiotics, the globalist regime closed down small businesses, shredded fundamental human rights, and created a fraudulent $100 billion mRNA vaccine industry.

Their solution to an infectious disease was an authoritarian biomedical-surveillance state built around a subscription service to a deadly and ineffective experimental gene therapy shot.

Blocking early treatment, locking down the world, and mandating a mRNA shot that is killing people are all crimes against humanity.

Just got an urgent call from my son in Brazil. He's very sick.
I'm praying for him NOW and request those Loving members here to do the same.
Please send him healing Love and healing Energy.

His throat was very swollen and red, while he is expelling yellow mucous.
He's very ill. Tested positive for a virus, don't know which, but that doesn't matter now.
He and his new bride are cancelling their honeymoon as he needs to heal and strengthen his system, to survive...

I'm sending him more of the protocol, along with LOVE and HEALING ENERGY within and surrounding him and his wife with the same.

He had the Moderna shot on Oct. 11 and went thru a lot of adverse reactions until he called me in desperation 4 days later.

The travel to be with his LIFE'S LOVE and the constant moisture there in Bauru has not helped, but he and his wife are very strong and resilient. Their lives are just beginning this new chapter.
Prayers, Love, Healing.

In APPRECIATION with my Family here on Avalon.

Sending much love and healing to your son. Can he get any good medications? Even colloidal silver solution nebulised is good, praying all will be fine :heart:

Hym

Don't know about medications there. Health care is very different than in the states.
He's making some natural hcl with the lemons from the backyard there, boiling the lemon peels for 10-15 minutes, then letting it all steep, cool off and taking sips of the liquid during the day. It's even better if grapefruit peels are in the mix but I doubt they have access to any there in central Brazil.

Love does make the biggest difference here. More for some than others, and especially for my son and his wife.

Thank YOU FOR YOUR PRAYERS!

Got a lot to do today. Will be back to check in and receive any suggestions.
I'll see if I can send some of the protocol vitamins, etc. I gave him 3+months ago, but in gathering all of his things from the apartment I saw he still had a little left in each bottle, so that definitely helped. He had to let go of his apartment in his bid to now live with his wife in the country.

For someone who constantly would tell me how good we have our lives in the states after each return from visiting other places, this is the first time in returning that he did not share that sentiment. Now in another country he, like all who live in both places, is dealing with the pluses and minuses of how serviceful and, in contrast, how dark each country really is.

His sentiment and insight into the origins of all of this entire attack on our personal sovereignty is accurate. Still, as is our nature, our reasons for clearing up the messes we are in are very personal and yet universal to our conditions as souls in these bodies.

Our measure, our vibrance is how we carry onwards in Our Loving Efforts, Actions, and Intentions.....

So my friend let me borrow her login info for disney+, I heard they had It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia streaming as well as My Name is Earl. It had neither. Anyway, I watched the new Lion King since that movie was a fav as a kid and the graphics in the new version is jaw dropping. When I rewatched it I found it interesting that it evidently draws influence from the story of Set, Osiris and Horus.

I spent hours last night watching Knight Rider on Netflix. And when I got sick of the episodes I watched a movie they had available called KnightRider 2000. It was absolutely awful. It picks up after the series and KITT has been junked and a new car takes his place. KITT is eventually resurrected and put into Michael Knight's 57 chevy, but doesn't get much action ultimately. A terrible, terrible movie. Not even good in a campy way. But I faithfully watched every minute. Why I did that someone else will have to tell me.

What I did discover was Michael Knight's history from episode one. Did you know that Michael Knight was actually Michael Long? That Long was a cop that got shot in the head but was ultimately saved by a metal plate put in his head during his military past? And after facial reconstruction takes on the appearance we all know and love? And was funded by a mysterious benefactor who dies shortly after KiTT was built?

A complete and utter waste of time, but I'm fully prepared for any game of random KnightRider trivia that gets thrown my way in the future

Shot in the head? No biggy. Men were men in the 80s. Ya know, back when it was ok to do push ups to Rocky music and be patriotic. Now you have to hate your own country, eat 'impossible burgers' and smoke cigs with an extender. Back when I was growing up there was a term 'walk it off' which I'm sure no longer exists. Remember Alex Murphy? He didn't get offended, he got revenge:

Just a couple shotgun blasts, no biggy.

EDIT: Age restricted, of course it is

That was pretty good! How much do I owe you?:)

I have a strange reaction when people are able to pin me down and tell me stuff about myself. I once had an astrologer/psychic approach me at the L.A. Fair, where I was working as a vendor many years ago. She offered me a reading for a t-shirt. I agreed.

She began and didn't falter once or miss a beat. Didn't even ask me for my birthday first or anything. She talked non stop for about 4 or 5 mins and when she was done she smiled and grabbed the t-shirt and walked off.

The weird thing is this: the whole time she was reading me I felt like I might break down and weep at any moment. I had a strong emotional reaction to it, which is unusual for me. It totally caught me off guard...her accuracy, my emotional blubbery..all of it I just sat there with this dumb look on my face, trying not to cry. I was really moved by the whole thing

Well I hope I said I've had *almost* no accurate psychic readings:)

There was the one I just described, and also one in St Pete Beach roughly 20 years ago that was pretty solid. But never anything profound or earth shattering like some people report

The thing is, I've had dozens of them. Psychic readings I mean. And I spent loads of cash. I don't think having 2 decent one's disproves whatever I was trying to say back then. I guess I'd have to see the post in question

If I had the privilege of viewing this painting and getting up close to it. I could spend hours. Every hair, every slight change of color in her skin, every tiny freckle, every eye lash, eye brow...and then the texture of the hat.

She could have painted a sanitized version of herself, made herself the generic version of what many call beauty these days, white shiny symeticral teeth, flawless perfect skin, lips with a bit doing over. Maybe a modified nose and a boob job.Nope, she let her natural beauty shine through and she is absolutely lovely.

I am so happy that there are artists of this intense level of inspiration and giftedness at this level are still on this planet.

There was a point in the video that Akiane added a few light touches to the crease of the lip (https://youtu.be/EwgeZd15SVU?t=1245). For me, it was perfect before those strokes. It was a glimpse into how every now and again a subtle detail can change an entire perspective.

Greetings

Here and now, the wind is howling, pots clatter past the side of the house as I plant seeds in a propogator and plan my first garden and my first allotment. I’m retired finally, and inordinately happy about it! Meanwhile the world madness rages on and the end may be nigh, but in my little corner of the swamp, in this moment, my home is cosy, clean and warm and I am so very grateful. Contentment reigns, I read with hope about the truckers’ protest and watch aghast our ‘leaders’ antics. I came across someone today that actually hadn’t even heard of the “Freedom Convoy’. I guess the MSM is effectively censoring news of it.

GB news is a relatively new news channel here, the jury’s still out on whether they serve the truth, but I do love to listen to this droll Scotsman who invariably sums up in brilliant ten minute monologues just how I feel about world events. I thought I’d share him with you here today…

Well ole no-sleep Strat is in high gear again:
8pDY_9u5Sn0

It's weird because life is actually pretty good at the moment, especially now that I have been meditating again. I find meditation and exercise to be so similar. We carry lots of heavy weights with us in life and sometimes they are too heavy to lift. You can lift them eventually, but it will take some work with meditation to build your mental muscles to lift life's weights. Just how you might wish you could do 100 pushups or bench press a lot of weight, you can absolutely do it, just maybe not now but if you exercise regularly you'll be able to.

It's funny how meditation works and how it shows how stressed I am in life. I think I'm just used to it because I truly feel fine. But when I go through the initial stages of meditation I noticed my body unwinding in a sense. There's a knot in my solar plexus that loosens, a tightness in my chest that eases and my face feels like it's scrunched up and it begins to relax. Generally in that order too. I don't feel these things in everyday life, only when I sit and begin to meditate. And as I focus on the spot between the thoughts my body almost tries to return to stressing out.

It's strange how one can be used to stress and then become uncomfortable when in a happy space. It's an alien place to be in, I'm used to being stressed about something and the change can be uncomfortable itself. I occasionally have thoughts of, "Don't forget to worry about _______" Really odd.

Oh, and if Avalon could focus it's collective good will on two souls I'd appreciate it: One is a friend and war veteran who is drinking himself to death, he's been in the hospital for some time now. And the other is literally starving in a war torn country. Please pray for them, or send good vibes or whatever your thing is, thanks in advance.

Go to sleep you weirdo.:)

The trick is to get up early whether you've slept or not. That's how you reset the cycle. Get up at sunrise after little or no shut eye, and sleep will be sure to find you the next night. And then you have to maintain the cycle with discipline (says the guy who likely has a far worse sleep schedule than you). If you lack that brand of discipline you may need a miracle.. or Tom Cruise as your butler waking you up at 5am with raucous high fives.

I struggled to sleep for a while after I cut back on alcohol. I'd always regarded myself as an easy sleeper back then, but I wasn't making the distinction between falling asleep and passing out. Once you quit a habit, like drinking, you're almost immediately reminded as to why you took it up in the first place. For me it helped me sleep. Well...pass out.

But yeah, get up at sunrise no matter what. That's the trick

Joking aside if you ever want a great book on sleep, check out Matthew Walker's book, "Why We Sleep." You can probably get it at your local library.

Sh!t I have a similar problem as you dude. The only way that book would help me is if I hit myself really hard on the head with it around midnight or so. My whole being resists sleep like the plague. I think that type of thing is an unsettled conscience. It is for me anyway. Sleep is a reward for a life lived properly. That sounds like fortune cookie wisdom but it's true for me. If I'm doing everything right - exercising, eating healthy, getting reasonable doses of fresh air and sunlight, reducing wifi, engaging something creative - my conscience will allow me to sleep. In other words it's more to do with my mind than my body.

I also sense time passing me by. There are things I need to do that I'm not doing and things I need to stop that I keep doing. And when the day is over and I climb into bed, my mind will not leave me alone if I've failed at those things. I can see the hourglass emptying itself. I'm getting older and I have to act now. A lack of action causes anxiety, and anxiety keeps me up.

But having said all that, if I force myself to get up at sunrise, and I can make it thru the day without falling asleep, I'll definitely fall out that night and sleep well. It's not exactly a trick or a "hack", but it's worked for me when I've applied it. Have you reallly tried it, in earnest?

Strat
7th February 2022, 09:44
Have you reallly tried it, in earnest?

Truly, I swear. This is somewhat standard advice, go to bed and get up at same time. Turn off screens etc. It gets unsettling when you can't sleep and eventually the feeling of sleepiness will pass and then I'm going through the day delirious as ****. Then I get brutally tired but still when I lay down my brain wakes up....yet I'm sooo tired.

This is one of those things that I often have to explain to people. Like when someone says "I couldn't sleep last night" it's hyperbole. They really mean to say it took about an hour to fall asleep or they woke up and couldn't fall back to sleep and so they are tired. When I say I couldn't sleep, I mean I literally did not sleep for 1 minute. I did the typical camping/gun shooting thing with friends a couple years ago and a buddy realized this cause his tent was next to mine. He heard me whispering curse words because I was pissed I couldn't sleep. It was actually nice to hear him mention this to me, I felt vindicated in a sense.

One shrink said I have adhd, one said I have ocd/bi polar. I don't know what I have, I don't really care, but I know my brain is constantly revving at 5k RPMs and it's very difficult to slow down. As I said in my previous post, I'm not upset or depressed or anything, it's just the way I am. My brain races about a documentary I saw, or what I'm going to do with the garden, or my dog needs to lose weight, etc etc. Just disconnected non-linear thoughts flying through my head constantly.

There's a few key things with me at the moment: Admittedly, I rampaged on Friday night so that threw my sleep off. The other big one is my damn foot... I can't go for my walks or runs. This was one big key thing for me so now I'm getting zero exercise. I'm making excuses I'll admit because I have weights that I could lift. I don't do it because frankly it just doesn't interest me much and I'm irresponsible. I say irresponsible because I know I should, here I am bitching about how I can't sleep and I know how to fix it but I'm not taking proactive steps.

Another thing that's glaringly obvious.... I'm addicted to the damn laptop! If I shut it off and read I'll probably be able to sleep but hey I gotta watch another video of cops body cams or that-one-video from that-one-guy who says crazy stuff or I gotta find out what the aliens have been up to.

I got 1001 Arabian Nights from the library and I'll start reading it tomorrow. I don't have to work today so I didn't have much pressure or whatever to sleep like a normal human. I have stuff to do tomorrow though, so I'll get on the ball.

I had asked for one word, ONE WORD!!

Reconciliation

Hello, araucaria.

I LOVE that word.
It is the completion of the Law of Three.
1) Affirming
2) Denying
3) Reconciling

THANK you!

Sincerely,
ulli
Thank you Ulli for this excellent response. But one word is just a mantra or (empty) slogan until we make a thing of it. We need to be doing some reconciling – lots of it – which is something we are not seeing too much of. For that, you need two things to reconcile, and the process itself produces a third. So we see how it takes us from oneness, beyond duality to multiplicity with the Law of Three as you rightly point out. It was fun – and hopefully useful – to write a one-word post, but since I am in the business of trying to make words interact effectively, I am going to revert to type (pun of course intended) and post a few more (understatement idem) – because the concept is huge.

On reconciliation
What is a law? I’d say it is something axiomatic, to be taken for granted, a tenet, valid currency ‘you can take to the bank’, a pragmatic principle, let’s call it P for short. If we go in for reconciliation in a big way, you will create a chain reaction, let’s call it PCR for short. Let’s start by reconciling the Law of Three with Hegelian dialectics: the concept is actually the same; all that is in opposition is the context and the vocabulary, and the lack of understanding surrounding them. From the thesis and antithesis you reach a synthesis, which is basically an intellectual or philosophical variation on the affirm-deny-reconcile method. The positive connotation of reconciliation, on the other hand, is that it extends the notion from theory and concepts to practical interpersonal communication.

While I am dealing here mostly with the former, my main intention lies in this extension: I am only philosophizing for the practical applications it leads to. In a general way, I would say that in humans the power of thinking is underdeveloped, and in fact extremely primitive. When you take the power of thinking out of thinking itself, some will call it AI, others maybe meditation. These are both useful tools, but we do have this huge brain, and we have to use it as well.

The next step is then to apply the ‘PCR’ process: namely synthesis1 v antisynthesis > synthesis2 > 3, 4 etc. ad infinitum. So reconciliation is like housework, it’s never done. Or like alchemy: endless distillation on the way to the philosopher’s stone. But before you get to the philosopher’s stone, there are all kinds of stones passing off as the real thing that are just stumbling-blocks. Too many people are falling for this and the overall situation of current human thought resembles a Law of Three situation without the Reconcile stage, i.e. a state of total conflict, e.g. white hats v black hats.

Take the Ickean triad problem-reaction-solution; this is presented as equivalent to Hegelian dialectics. So you have two aspects of affirming; denying merely takes the emotional form of rejecting this as evil, and no reconciliation is possible. Another similar case is Dolores Cannon’s Two Earths theory. Since she gets this by taking hypnotism further than others, we can safely say that this is an element of the human psyche. But beyond that, is it in any way real or even desirable? It would be the very negation of the reconciliation process.

As I see it, Affirming ‘problem-reaction-solution is bad’ involves Denying ‘Hegelian dialectics is bad’; and the corresponding Reconciliation is to say that the one is a total travesty (reversal) of the other, since its supposed end term (solution) is actually the starting point: in Hegelian terms, this would be stated as solution-reaction>problem – which amounts to equating reconciliation with a problem, when it is really the (way to a) solution. No doubt David Icke has a more sophisticated personal philosophy, but what his ordinary follower will be getting out of this will be that we are stuck with this evil and have no tool to deal with it.

How did it come to this? Well, Hegelian dialectics is bad because used by one Karl Marx, and God forbid, we should all need to be Marxists to do the same. Well, Jung was no Marxist (albeit another Carl), but he just called it ‘integrating the dark side’ and carried on regardless. ‘A rose by any other name will smell as sweet’ says the poet: perhaps not if you call it ‘raw sewage’. We are still very much learning the basics of language.

A topical example of where this leads – to immobility and total gridlock – is the famously bone-lazy Boris Johnson, who sees himself as the solution to the problem others call ‘Boris Johnson’. All this does is to create a huge reaction, a public outcry. Where will it all end? Eventually in upheaval and/or… revolution. However long (decades, centuries?) the situation has been building up, this too shall pass/something’s gotta give. This is where all the Marxist revolutionaries come from. They are all in this together.

So the main virtue of reconciliation is its ability to go with the flow. Which is why I like to use the example of a river to see how it works. What is a river? It is something you can give a name to, a location, a history. You can say for example, the River Thames froze over at Westminster in the 18th century. If you see it as water (affirming wetness), it is never the same water, its stability is in the bed and banks (affirming dryness = denying wetness). It would be ridiculous to claim a river is something totally dry, and equally ridiculous to claim it is something totally wet: you have to reconcile the two. When you do that, you can go on to define a lake as a river with very slow-moving water (evaporation v rain etc.) and earth moving over geological time. So you have two very different objects functioning as the same object, with maybe just one variable parameter: time. I suggest humans are the same.

What would an extremely fast river look like? They say a single particle travelling at infinite speed would be everywhere at once. There may actually be only one electron in the universe doing precisely that. That is the godlike quality of ubiquity. But it also implies another godlike quality, that of eternity, because it means that this particle would be right here (and everywhere else too) all the time. Hence you arrive at the paradox whereby infinite speed of movement equals infinite stability. To reconcile the apparent contradiction, you might describe the universe as a cross between a river and a lake: hence on our other level, you have a ‘Liver’ (someone who barely gets by), or perhaps a ‘Rake’ (someone who lives it up, a libertine).

This leads to another – dual – paradox we see in political extremes: the livers, who have every reason to be progressive, are immobilized in order to survive, going nowhere, workers with ultimately nothing to do. Meanwhile the rakes, who have every reason to be conservative, are the leisured classes, idlers jetting about all over the place. Two ways to reconcile movement and stability: so, what is the problem? The problem, as I suggested, is that you have created two groups where no reconciliation is taking place. One group is enjoying the good life, and feeling good, but only through forming an elite and thereby shutting out – and basically allowing to die – a part of the universe that it considers bad, or even evil. The other group has a rotten life, and is feeling ill, which is neither good nor evil per se, except that they tend to feel oppressed by evil from the outside, and possibly wishing dead the people involved. If we are into reconciliation, these are two poles that need reconciling.

The Rake’s Progress is an opera by Stravinsky (libretto by WH Auden and C. Kallman), a reworking of the Faust story, where the devil is called Nick Shadow, and his victim, Tom Rakewell, leaves Anne Truelove to marry the fantastic bearded lady Baba the Turk. It all ends badly, with the moral, ‘For idle hearts, and hands and minds the Devil finds a work to do’.
A chorus of rakes sings a good description of the current UK conservative government of former Etonians and members of the Bullingdon club: ‘For what is sweeter to human nature / than to quarrel over nothing at all, / to hear the crashing / of furniture smashing / or heads being bashed / in a tavern brawl?’
The rake’s not progress, the rake is regress, a reactionary river going backwards to nowhere. Tom ends up in a madhouse. If one is into reconciliation, and since this involves reconciling that type of person to society and humanity – as opposed to getting rid of them pure and simple, which is all too often the desire – then that would involve some kind of psychiatric/spiritual care, along with some kind of restraint on too much freedom and other excesses. Only by doing this can the other group be helped, because the way for them to fulfil their own needs is by growing into a position where they will themselves provide that help, for who else is there to do it? And vice versa: both groups have precisely what is needed to look after the other, and all that it stopping them is the inability for both sides to see eye to eye on this issue. Perhaps a turning-point of reconciliation can be reached when so many ‘evil’ things in the world are producing a deafening chorus of ‘We are all in this together’. (For some reason I first wrote the word ‘defining’ instead of ‘deafening’: may it be both – deafening in the sense that we stop hearing all the other noise; defining in the sense that we start understanding this full picture in which nobody is left out.)

In any case, as many others have pointed out, all that needs to change is how we view what is happening, notably the words we use to describe things.
Will this happen? We simply don’t know. My two earlier posts were in response to an uncomfortable feeling reading others talking about truth and/or ‘truthiness’, whatever that is. Truth and reconciliation go hand in hand, but perhaps not in the way we might think. It certainly means going beyond relative truth (your truth versus my truth). But I think it also means going – briefly – beyond absolute, timeless truth, into time-based truth, in the sense that all that was true yesterday is no longer true today: reconciliation after all means to forgive, forget and move on together. And paradoxically, that would turn out to be the closest thing to absolute, timeless truth: what I started by calling a first principle, P, needing to ‘go viral’ and so calling for a chain reaction or PCR test.

The notion of reconciliation also trumps love, which is often ungrounded ‘love and light’ stuff, or plain self-centredness in disguise, and generally a major source of untruthfulness, where words are supposed to speak louder than actions. Against that, reconciliation would simply be love in action: in its simplest expression, unconditional acceptance of others, i.e. whether reciprocal or not. When unreciprocated, it actually means backing off. How many crimes would be averted if more people could learn to do that.

I have another analogy for the interfacing of immobility and movement. When ‘the rubber hits the road’, the wheels need to be turning. I recently witnessed several hours of turmoil in the narrow streets of an ancient French town after a highly expensive, brand new sports car broke down. Due to a computer glitch the rear wheels had jammed and it couldn’t be pushed off the road. This could be anything from a minor breakdown easily mended to a potentially fatal design flaw causing the entire model to be recalled and possibly taken off the road for good. I myself had a very ordinary small car that tended to throttle back without warning, even at high speed, and was a danger to me and others. I know for a fact that several others out of the many thousands of this make were also misbehaving. So I had to get rid of it, this being an issue for the maker, not for the garage, and certainly not for the driver. The point being that as modern equipment becomes ever more sophisticated, it tends to have sophisticated defects that can be life-threatening when they interfere with the most basic functions; (a viral pandemic being another example, in the field of medicine). Compare and contrast African drivers of old European cars who, until recently, were able to do a host of instant car repairs e.g. with a piece of chewing-gum. Chewing-gum is no answer to this sort of problem.

Transposing this to reconciliation, the lack, weakening or breakdown of this function is something we are all experiencing: we ALL need to be doing much much better. So much so that it would appear to be a problem for the ‘maker’ to sort out. That may be happening as we speak, but until we can see a difference, then we will be driving while hoping for the best and fearing the worst. This is what makes reconciliation a higher-level remedy against both these extreme emotions. Fear-porn and hopium are not so much bioweapons wielded by evil humans as very real, justifiable and non-contradictory reactions to our current circumstances. But reconciliation would be the truth of tomorrow contradicting and reconciling these two truths of today.

Good one, Bill. That could have easily happened in Costa Rica as well.Could this have happened in Costa Rica as well? :)

Another encounter with a masked Ecuadorian

Most of my high-level hikes for several years have been via quite a good road, then leaving that to venture into the mountains to the south. But I wondered if there might possibly be another way in, hiking in northwards from some road to the south.

So I spent quite a while poring over Google Earth. I eventually thought I'd figured a way, via a tiny dirt road that I'd never been on before. So, with no phone or GPS, I set out this morning with a hand-drawn map, leather hat, walking stick, dog, altimeter, compass, and telescope. Rather like a Victorian explorer. :)

The road was horrific, with huge suspension-breaking potholes. For much of it I could only crawl along at less than walking pace. Then, in the middle of nowhere, I came across a gate, complete with impeccably uniformed officer, suitably masked.

¿Adónde vas?, he asked. (Where are you going?)

Senderismo en las montañas, I told him. (Hiking in the mountains.)

I thought this would put him at ease, but no.

¿Con tu perro? (With your dog?)

Sí señor. (Yes, sir.)

Eso no está permitido. Perros no. (That's not permitted. No dogs.)

OMG. So he would not let me through. I later realized I must have been at the National Park boundary, where the guy, super-keen to do his job, might have seen maybe half a dozen vehicles a day if that.

So we had to crawl back to civilization. There was no other option. To salvage the day, we went on a familiar hike that I knew was all fine, and Mara, released from hours and hours trapped in the back of my 4x4, happily ran around ar full speed for ages and ages, delighted to be free — as was I. :)

Ernie, that is just awful. Any chance of the banks insurance reimbursing you ?

She is right bro. I had my account cleaned out in 98.
I got a call from the bank.
They figured it out before I did.
They refunded me and everything.
The bank that is.
You should talk to them.

I'm sure somewhere down the line I'll get reimbursed. They say the investigation will take 10 - 20 business days. Then I guess after that I'll get it back. Maybe in a month? Two? Who knows.

Here and now wondering how do you scroll on a lap top computer?

How did I end up with a lap top, you wonder?

My sound system stopped working. What's that got to do with it, you ask?

While trying to fix the problem, which proved impossible, the computer also stopped working and it too would never work again either.

What's with the lap top then? By chance, a friend of a friend heard of my dilemma and decided to express ship this lap top to me, no charge. This to add to the gifting coming my way, after a kind Avalon member earlier donated funds to me (thanks so much) during the bank problem. It is hard for me to accept such kindness, but in both instances I was given no choice. I am indebted.

Forgive the mistakes, it's hard navigating without a scroll button.

It varies, but for my current laptop you touch the touchpad with two fingers and move them up or down at the same time

I like using the pageup/down buttons as well but that only works if the sidebar is selected. Or you can use the up/down arrows but again, sidebar needs to be selected.

Was wondering if that was the only option. Seems so gangly, moving my hand around and having to glance down to make sure I hit the right key, then back to the built in mouse, then back to the buttons. No problem, I can plug in a mouse.

It just seemed like there must be a way. I see arrow icons on the built in mouse, up and down, with what looks to be its own separate little finger area, if that makes sense...like it's the scroll control, but I can't get it to work. I'll check on the web.

If you move your fingers apart or closer together it will zoom in/out accordingly. So like if your fingers are together when touching the pad and you make a 'peace' sign it will zoom in. If you bring them back together it will zoom out. Something like that.

The mouse with a wheel is usually my go to as well but I seem to be cursed where every time I buy a mouse the damn wheel malfunctions.

Not now, but two nights ago.

I have a little dropper bottle of liquid B12 on my desk, I'm sat in near darkness, only light from the PC screen. Opened the top and dripped in a couple of drops to my gumline.

I froze - gah!

Hardly daring to breath, I made my way to the kitchen for water and started sluicing out my mouth as much as possible. Throat burning and irritated and the taste - gah!, I repeat.

What had happened?

I also have a little bottle of Oil of Oregano on my desk. Not recommended, seriously.

Random post I know but I've been mulling over something lately. It's an odd thing in life how one's ignorance can lead someone down the path of disrespecting others. This doesn't seem right or fair but it is what it is.

I always give people the benefit of the doubt and I try hard to give second, third, fourth chances. Say what you want about Christianity but they are damn right about forgiveness. It's an admirable quality that we need more of in life. I work on this and I'm good at it. But even I draw the lines at times and accuse others of disrespect even when I know it's not intellectually right or fair. Does this make sense?

For instance I get angry with armchair doctors. And real doctors I tear a new asshole and hold them to an unfair standard. I struggle with this intellectually because I know it's not fair for me to do but the other side of me says "**** that and **** them." I say a doctor is not allowed to have a bad day at the office, the consequences are too high. When someone goes psycho because they were given a bad medication the doctor is not held responsible. That's bull****.

I've gone through 3 neurologists because they were all dumber than me and that says a lot. One I had to advise how to treat my headaches. The other... how to say? Well, guess the vowel: c_nt. Yeah, giant one of those. She said cluster headaches were 'not that bad' and that I should go to the ER if they really are. I was having multiple a day. Thanks a lot chief. And the last told me to make an appointment to come in... Doc Numbnuts shouldn't need me to tell him I can't leave the house. And when I did he said he wouldn't speak to me on the phone.

The neurologist I'm seeing now is ok, but she's on thin ****ing ice.

So the thing is, these morons aren't rude or mean. They're just dumb. They truly mean well and even though I regard them as the spawn of satan they truly wanted the best for me. They just suck at their job and I regard it as disrespect.

This stepping on toes or being disrespectful through ones ignorance is demonstrated in all parts of life. A friend of mine is a veteran and he doesn't like another friend of mine, he's actually even called him disrespectful on more than one occasion. The reason why is because he asks stupid questions and is insensitive to his PTSD, he 'cop knocks' and slams doors and things. The guy is actually one of the nicest people you'll ever meet, so it's odd to hear him described in that way. But it's true, he just doesn't know any better.

And of course this comes into play in race relations. The word racist has become more subjective than ever. There is no dictionary definition. Regardless, if you think a guy like me is racist then you're an idiot. I'm racial, but we all are and I think that's a healthy thing to admit and be aware of. However I wonder how many truly good hearted, compassionate, well meaning folks have stepped on toes and been disrespectful due to their own ignorance. I know I've been guilty of this because I've gotten 'looks' from black friends for things I've said. And no, not from saying the buzz words that are mentioned all the time. Just ignorant white guy stuff.

So I guess at the end of the day we're all ignorant in some way and it's only a matter of time until you're in the position of being a disrespectful ass.

I drove up here in the middle of the night, and have basically lived in the hospital since. His life was saved, with many residual effects now. Just had another surgery this morning... and here I sit in his room watching vigil. I just want to get him home now, where he can heal.

What he had is an aortic aneurysm rupture at home.

Had a natter and bought 2 large DJ cases full of 90s club/party CD singles. So now I've got another audio project to dive into when time allows.

Flying object crashes in Croatian capital, triggers blast

ZAGREB, Croatia — A flying object crashed overnight on the outskirts of the Croatian capital, Zagreb, triggering a loud blast but apparently causing no injuries, police said Friday.

Some media reports said that the mysterious object could be a drone that flew to the Croatian capital from the Ukrainian war zone hundreds of miles away. Others said it could be a small plane. The reports could not be immediately confirmed.

The police said they came to the scene of the explosion on the outskirts of Zagreb after calls from local citizens. They said they found a large crater and two parachutes in a wooded area. Some parked cars were damaged.

Photos from the scene show metal pieces of the wreckage spread on the ground and what seems to be a section of a wing. Police sealed off the area of the blast for investigation.

Witnesses quoted by the media said they first heard a large explosion that rocked the ground, then a foul smell.

It happened very close to my street .. it's supposed to be a Ukrainian Tu-141 "Strizh" Missile-Like Drone. What is not clear to me is how did it end up in Zagreb?

So, if anyone noticed I disappeared, it is because my husband had a sudden traumatic health event 12 days ago, and was airlifted to a hospital 2 and 1/2 hours from home.

Hope you all can give us a good healing thought if you will.

I want to thank everyone for all your kind wishes and prayers.
And I am happy to report that we are both home now, with my husband recovering slowly but steadily. He had a tough time, with 4 surgeries during his hospital stay, and will be rehabbing at the best place there is - home.

The hospital experience was of course quite stressful as they are, but interesting to observe. I noted that there was very little covid stuff going on, happily. There were unused "covid isolating waiting rooms", but I never saw anyone in them. The ER was always full, but no covid precautions going on that I could see... People were just packed together waiting. My husband was asked only once if he had the vaccine, and simply said no, with no further comment or pressure. Masks were required on everyone in the hospital, but beyond that, it seemed almost silly as staff and visitors mingled freely, and pulled their masks down and back up when observed, like a PC game. Patients were not masked.

The place was packed, with people waiting for beds, and quite short-staffed. I felt sorry for the nurses who just could not be caring for everyone that needed them, even in the ICU. Buzzers and beepers were constantly going off in the rooms, sometimes for hours. But most of the health-care folks, I must say, were kind and working to the max. I was glad I was able to be with my husband with no restrictions, as I tended to him when they simply couldn't, and sometimes also to his roommates during his stay. I even changed my husbands bedclothes at times. He was pretty out of it during most of the stay, and hardly remembers much that went on. That part is always scary - when loved ones seem to have lost their minds.

If anyone knows about ruptured aortic aneurysms, they will recognize that it is rather a miracle that my husband survived. But an even more miraculous thing is that this is not the first time, but the second time that this has happened to him. He also survived an abdominal aortic aneurysm rupture 12 years ago. This time it was a thoracic aortic rupture. Both times happened at home. His recovery will likely take some time.

Sue, So glad to hear your good news. May your husband's healing be steady and complete. Home is a good place to be and we are all so grateful of what sounds like a miraculous event.

Hospitals are strange places to be, even though necessary, and seem like another world. Your hubby is so lucky to have you and love and prayers to you both.

Been a while since I saw more than one of these but here's what I woke up to this morning.

06:47 I looked out the window and...

https://i.ibb.co/qg9Qfsz/Normal-Skies.jpg

If you look at the sun there are two more there, and an eighth offscreen to the right of picture. These flights are coming from the direction of Newcastle-upon-Tyne and must have flown over Newcastle Airport* so you would imagine someone in the control tower knows something about all those flights.

* Newcastle Airport, as the crow flies, cannot be more than a mile and a half from me in the direction of the photo.

I was leaving the grocery store this morning and saw the security guard chase down a shoplifter running through the lot with a basket of goods. He caught him and allowed him to keep a few items which included a loaf of bread. I see the elite intentionally changing laws to facilitate the erosion of society.

why shoplifting now de facto legal california (https://www.hoover.org/research/why-shoplifting-now-de-facto-legal-california)

Why is shoplifting so rampant? Because state law holds that stealing merchandise worth $950 or less is just a misdemeanor, which means that law enforcement probably won’t bother to investigate, and if they do, prosecutors will let it go.

Why won’t store employees do anything about this theft? Because they don’t want to take the risk. I doubt many would, knowing that a Rite Aid employee was murdered recently after trying to stop two thieves. Moreover, a confrontation within the store risks harming not only store staff but also customers, so employees are almost certainly instructed by their managers to do nothing.

Because of this law, California is extending an open invitation to anyone to walk in and take. Just like that—since they know that police or prosecutors won’t bother with a misdemeanor complaint and that store personnel won’t stop them.
