Calz, you are planning to do the lemonade tea cleanse in February? I'm in ... let me know when you are starting. Had a friend who added chlorella powder to her lemonade cos it has lots of protein.

Marianne

I made it two weeks twice. After the first couple days it isn't so bad. I never really felt hungry except one of the two fasts happened to include a July 4th gathering and we were grilling steaks and I was feeling mighty "neglected".

:hungry:

As for chlorella in the lemon drink I am sure that would be a good idea while you are not fasting ... not sure if that would have an effect on the cleanse itself however. No expert by any means. Lemons are great for getting more alkaline.

Anyway if you are really interested as others have mentioned you need to prepare yourself to a degree. I got the little booklet but I think all the information you need is online. I am taking a couple weeks off work but not sure about the exact day I will start as I may need to work overtime on my "normal" days off prior to my vacation days.

Send me a PM if you are serious.

Okay. Having read through my books, I have to admit this is the perfect card for me.

This is how I sum it up. The first half of my life was about understanding that there is no devil but the one we make. The second half of my life is about the fact that there is also no God but the one we make.

We are (I am), God becoming, individualized.

Tit for tat, Dan. Drew your card too: Knight of Pentacles. Also re-enforces your Tarot profficiency.
Thanks Dan.

O small self, you are a sparkling fish
___ at play in the ocean of consciousness,
and your life is swiftly coming to its end.
Death will skim above you and throw its sharp net.
You will not be protected by your watery world,
for selfish actions have kept you in the shallows.

The fisherman's fatal net will surround you suddenly.
Why do you remain so near the surface of relative existence
___ where Death is granted its fishing grounds?
Yet there is still time.
Leave the dangerous shoreline, mundane mind,
and plunge into silent profundity,
the black waters of Mother Kali's mystery.

Beautiful :)

I have a thirsty fish in me
that can never find enough
of what it's thirsty for!

Well, now, this is encouraging...

This is a year of hard work and discipline in which you will be struggling to keep up with all the promises you made during year 3. Many find a year 4 to be very frustrating as responsibilities increase. A common metaphor used to describe this year is “two steps forward and two steps back.” Although it might seem that you are not making much headway, the whole point of a year four is to create a firm foundation that can support the maturing of your life goals over the next couple of years.

The lack of protein during a fast is a desired aspect of fasting. Our bodies accumulate a lot of mucus, much of it formed from eating too much protein, most chronic sinus infections are the result of mucus pockets with colonies of various pathogens living/feeding in them. Buried in the mucus these pathogens are resistant to antibiotics which cannot reach the core population. Various spores of fungi from ventilation systems are common culprits in these infections. Low, or no, protein fasts forces the body to seek protein. These many pockets of mucus are protein rich deposits and are scavenged (or mined) in the fasting process. As these deposits are cleaned out so are any and all pathogens that have made such areas their homes. It is this scavenging that creates the much improved health that results from fasting. Chlorella would hamper or prevent this.

The protein addiction that has been firmly stamped into our consciousness from years of 'science' is particularly insidious. It creates a hypochondria around protein consumption. This programming is of great value to the meat and dairy industry and now the soy industry. There is no denying a need for protien, but the only food group that has no protein is oils. If something has a form it contains protein, the building block of life. Mucus is basically water, rich in protein strands which are revealed in the stretchiness of mucus as the strands unravel and lengthen when gravity pulls at them.

Good morning to the Village, I've been finding myself strolling through the village a lot lately in my daily walks through Avalon. It is time for me to finally say "Hi" to everyone and especially "thank you". The village is a magical place, where I find confirmation of what's going on in my life. If I did'nt know any better, I would say it is unbelievable and would think you all can see in my heart. You guys make me laugh, smile, cry. The village is a peaceful place and this is why I enjoy walking through.

Just yesterday I was talking to my daughter and saying I am planning a fast (with lemons) at the end of February (starting on the 27th probably). In the same conversation she told me : Mom, I know you as if I had made you... hehe... you need to externalize (?) more. Here I am this morning reading about hermits and fasting... Calz, count me in.

So, here I am..... a bit from me... a Cancer, ascendant Leo.

Hello Samsara and welcome to the Village. Since you are a Cancer and thinking of fasting I would like to add another insight to this process. Begin fasts after the Full Moon. There is a shedding quality to the Waning Moon and it compliments the energy of a fast. In fact, I believe it contributes greatly to the success/completion of it as well as making it easier by being in a cosmic rhythm. A Moon Child would be particularly sensitive to this energy.

Each Saturn angles tests resolve. Harder for Pisceans than other signs as their memory of heaven is strong and they want nothing to do with this dimension, even though they initially agreed to jump into the cold pool of an earth life. All Pisces kids should become aware of their great gifts and talents early so that they can make their first million before they are 25... Then at least they have the means to live in the kind of sanctuary they need in order to recharge their batteries every night before taking on the challenges of the coming day.

True for me, Ulli. Basics aspects of 3D life can be so challenging. Never wanted or needed to be a millionaire, but definitely need sanctuary for recharging and facing each day.

Any suggestions for learning to love housework or least make it a habit? Dad's coming to visit soon... (That's going to be a great test of how well I can manage ego, mind and emotions.)

Hope all villagers are doing well on this day of 1s and 2s (1/22/2012 for Americans).

The Chlorella in fasting is also to do with heavy metal
detoxIng, you want to get that stuff out and fasting on
Its own doesn't do it . The heavy metals bind with the
chlorella and thus are passed out it also increases the
oxygen In your cells .

Sinus issues , Nero pots are the cure all for that
with good old salt water fast cheap and deals with
he core issue . Some people had very small sinus
tubes and dust and pollens get trapped there and
quickly become infected . Keep them clean and you
have no issues .I had chronic sinus issues for years
it was so bad i would get migraine type pain in my
face .it was horrific . Discovered saline flush outs and
It was fixed instantly . Feels like a swim in the ocean too

Lol. Accept that you dislike it for valid reasons *you weren't born to be a maid* and the resistance towards it will go away.

When you 'clean' for company there's a whole nest of vipers waiting to come up...lol

Why do we clean for the relative's visits? Likely we feel judged if we don't. If we don't clean we are leaving ourselves open to their criticism or judgement. We are cleaning to avoid being judged or leave them an open door???? Still seeking their approval????. Or when they attempt to help out imposes a judgement on us. My sisters used to like to come over and 'help' me. It was a non obviated way of being able to judge me. A kind way to judge me to. "We organized your closet and still managed to emphasize what a organizational failure you are! "

So they no longer come to visit because the Martha Stewart Void is just too empty a place for them to bear. No you're ' not stapling origami magazines to my walls in attempt to fix your empty place in side.

i watched the video and all I could think was... a Strat.... with only two pickups? :p

As for the alone bit, I'm a master at it. however, it can bet pretty tiring. BUT..it is necessary if one desires to 'rise up' so to speak.

Connectivity of one's energies to others..will drag one's attempt at 'rising' down. it will hold it down. Like likes like. Like holds like. separate to rise. It is that simple. Unless the given 'other' is rising at least as fast, actually faster..then... one will be slowed down. The intercommunication..at whatever level... will slow one down. Of course there is much more to it than that....but a basic component is the initial separation.

I told that to a few friends recently. I said.. due to my being alone..I've been running down the road, going through changes... 2x-10x faster than they were. nothing to slow me down. No emotions on separation, no conditioning, no reinforcement.... to hold me back.

I was an active member of the Baha'i Faith for nearly twenty years.
Baha'is always regretted that Khalil Gibran never joined the movement.
"The Prophet" was written after his meeting with `Abdu'l-Baha the son of the Baha'i prophet Baha'u'llah whom he met in the US in 1912.

Baha'u'llah, together with other members of his family, was a prisoner in Palestine where he died in 1892, and until the Young Turk Revolution none of his fellow prisoners attained freedom.
In 1912 his son `Abdu'l-Baha visited the US where he gave talks to spread the Baha'i message and no matter how often he insisted he was only the son of the prophet, everyone who met him thought that he himself was the one. Including Khalil Gribran.

Here is Wikipedia about Khalil Gibran's meeting `Abdu'l-Baha:

"Juliet Thompson, one of Gibran's acquaintances, reported several anecdotes relating to Gibran:
She recalls Gibran met `Abdu'l-Bahá, the leader of the Bahá’í Faith at the time of his visit to the United States, circa 1911–1912.

Barbara Young, in "This Man from Lebanon: A Study of Khalil Gibran",
records Gibran was unable to sleep the night before meeting `Abdu'l-Bahá who sat for a pair of portraits.

Thompson reports Gibran saying that all the way through writing of "Jesus, The Son of Man", he thought of `Abdu'l-Bahá.

Years later, after the death of `Abdu'l-Bahá, there was a viewing of the movie recording of `Abdu'l-Bahá –
Gibran rose to talk and in tears, proclaimed an exalted station of `Abdu'l-Bahá and left the event weeping."

Good advice, 9eagle9, and LOL at "We organized your closet and still managed to emphasize what a organizational failure you are!" :biggrin1:

No sisters, but Mom used to do way more for me than I wanted or needed. She meant well, and it wasn't the best for building my self-sufficiency and self-confidence.

I'd be thrilled if the resistance went away. I truly have some kind of weird anxiety/blocks around housework. Dishes and laundry I can handle. Realized a long time ago I was not going to be anyone's idea of a traditional wife. (Hoping my future boyfriend loves to cook, clean and fix things around the house. ;o)) Big Martha Stewart Void at my place, too.

Modwiz, I have a tendency to low blood sugar. For that reason, I haven't done any long fasting, only a day or 2. I do fresh juicing instead.

Any fasting advice for me?

Yes, I cleaned up my sinus infection with a low calorie mainly raw diet. Fruit is an excellent way to keep blood sugar balanced while keeping protein low to encourage scavenging. I was living on hummus, cherry tomatoes, and grapes. I was using a few slices of organic multi-grain bread to scoop my hummus. All food was organic. The minerals and vitamins are there.

Organic dried dates are out of this world delicious BTW.

" The guests are coming" House cleaning neurosis can

have remnants of it, but I also got rid of most of my neat
freak friends . These days I Clean for me and for better
channeling of spirit it does make a difference . If I'm feeling
stale I will clean to reshuffle my energies around .
Sometimes if my house is filthy and I need to clean it but
have no motivation i will use the " guest neurosis"
factor to move my butt and invite someone over.
it works for me , might as well put my dysfunctions
to good use , lol . But it's Interestong that these days
i do things for myself and for spirit and gladly that I would
struggle with before . It makes all the difference when you
dump the guilt shame and expectations of others . But this
was a tough one for me and did drive me insane for along

Somehow I find it comforting that I'm not the only one who requires a lot of alone time. Maybe irl I'm just surrounded by people who need other people around all the time to get a sense of self...whereas I need to 'cleanse'/center myself by being alone after being with people.

I believe one of the reasons so many people are unaware is they do not reflect and process their experiences. It is like never opening your mail, snail or electronic. It accumulates but the messages contained are not received. Alone time is crucial. Not liking ones own company is not a sign of robust mental health.

One more thing to add: Baha'u'llah was a prisoner for 40 years. His followers believed him to be the fulfillment of their prophecies whether they were Muslim, Jew of Christian.
The ones who managed to meet him in person were those who had crossed the desert coming from Persia, often on foot. These visitors had to camp outside the walls of the prison complex, unable to get access to him.
One day when one of Baha'u'llahs sons lay dying after an accident, having fallen through a skylight onto a pile of firewood below, his Father, who had supernatural powers, asked him if he wanted to live or die. The son said,
' I want to give my life so that this sacrifice will allow all those visitors outside the prison to be able to see you.'
His wish was granted. At the moment of his burial there was a strong earthquake. Bahaullah wrote later:
"Even the earth herself trembled with delight of receiving your precious body."

The result was that within a few weeks these pilgrims were allowed entrance to the prison cell of Baha'u'llah by the commander of the prison.
This man later became a believer and granted Baha'u'llah special privileges.

Yet until the 1906 Young Turk revolution none of them were free to leave Palestine, nor return to Persia.

My point here is that if Americans were so convinced that Abdu'l-Baha was the awaited prophet/return of Christ, what would they have thought if they had met Baha'u'llah in person?
Baha'u'llah's energy was such that people who met him often lost consciousness in his presence and passed out.
Abdu'l-Baha's role was to interpret Baha'u'llah's Revelation.
Interesting history.

You won't get an amen for chicken form me, LOL. Besides, it is way to high in protein for the desired result. The key to the diet is to eat less than your body requires. It is for a finite period of time only and weight loss is part of the sign of it working. It is stripping down of the body, a carefully managed near starving of the body, especially of protein. The glop in our bodies in protein based and all of the dissolved fat soluble chemicals in of fatty tissue. I have had doctors tell me that what I did was dangerous. I countered by saying that they are coming from a place of the body not being intelligent and communicating quite clearly to any owner of one if they but trust and listen.

In closing, this is basically recommended for chronic infections. Clear the food source and infections disappear.

astrid

I also had low blood sugar issues and the longer fast
sorted them out . When you get over the 3rd and 4th
day you stop swinging its eating that creates the issue
in the first place. Fasting means your body can focus
on healing 100% it's that simple . Eating and digestion
is very energy " expensive " so less left for healing .

Might as well get up and have breakfast green smoothie.
Start my day early for a change and have an afternoon
nap . Notice this last week that my energy is running
much hotter and getting hungry a lot . My body really
heated up in my last two journeys apparently that is
common for more advanced students so all good .

Agreed Carmody, if I was to take on a fellow travellor
they would have to be an energetic match, developmentally
speaking . Which was where I have gone wrong in the past,
and was forever holding myself back to protect a male ego,
Never again . My whole concept of what a "relationship" is
currently getting an overhaul which i will also seed into the
collective it certainly needs it . Codependency is a toxic and
insidious problem and a core issue of so many larger issues.
If couples can't be healthy nor can society as they are the basic
unit from which families and societies are built

Marianne, I don't juice...prefer to eat the organic fresh fruit and vegies to get the benefit of the added fiber. What I eat passes through very quickly, so I've never felt a need to fast...and in the past three years I've only had the sniffles just once and that was earlier this month. Echinasea tea, salt water nasal rinses, and lots of lemon water seemed to take care of it. Might consider it now, though, after learning about the spiritual benefits.

Don't know if I have low blood sugar, but eat constantly...and I mean, constantly. Can't go much longer than an hour without eating something. I even carry a bag of organic dried fruits, nuts and seeds with me all the time for snacking...today's version is organic dried cranberries and raisins with peanuts, walnuts, sunflower seeds and pumpkin seeds.

You'd think I'd be big as a house with all I eat, but the last pair of slacks I bought a few weeks ago was a size 2p. Haven't weighed myself in many years...just go by how I feel.

It may sound silly, but I do honor the food I eat with gratitude and thankfulness for the nourishment it gives.

I eat whenever I am hungry. Like you I am always healthy. My sinus infection happened from attending massage school 4 days a week for 9 months. No open window and a hot/cold air system that ran almost constantly. I notices the infection. I have not used antibiotics for about 35 years now so I chose to starve my infection. It lived in recesses that the neti pot was not quite getting. Had I recognized the infection and started earlier, the neti would have been sufficient, I suspect.

It is possible to graze all day and be at a healthy and pleasant weight. I thrive on my diet. I tell people diet is what you eat not some deprivation program. Diet has become a dirty word and that is unfortunate.

Blessing food is just good form. Gratitude is a beautiful thing and it is the least we can do for the forty thousand people a day who die from lack of food. Also, don't say you're starving when you are simply hungry.

Belle i was the same, i had to eat at least every 4 hours,
since my fast all that has changed. My pancreas got a rest,
as did my adrenals that were exhausted, so now i don't
even think about food, and i only get hungry when I'm doing
intense energy work, which makes perfect sense. But before
food was taking up so much of my day to day life and thought
processes. So much more time to work on whats more important now.
I eat less but make sure its the freshest and highest quality i can get,
ideally straight from the garden. Why im currently growing wheat grass
and micro greens, so that everything i eat has a live component.
That way the enzymes are still intact for the highest digestion,
after 20 mins out of the ground food starts to lose its full
value.

I, too, have not used antibiotics in many, many years. I have used colloidal silver for infections in the past and it worked well.

The information you've given about 'starving the infection' by eliminating as much protein as possible in the diet is new to me. Thank you. Will have to try it if infection ever sets in again. Of course, I keep suggesting to my body that it remain healthy and illness free...so hopefully will never need it.:)

I have never grown it before these last few weeks, I'm amazed at how fast it grows,
and how much i can grow out of 3 teaspoons of grain.
It seriously has excellent survival food potential. Wheat grain stores for ages too,
if kept dry. But aside from that, i have been jumping of the walls with energy in the
mornings, since i have been adding it to my morning smoothies.
It's seriously good.

Since reading the village news this morning, I have been meditating on the role of The Prophet in my life. It was given to me at 15 by a 19 year old boy. We met in summer school and he wrote me poetry almost everyday. He was an exceedlingly good man even then. I googled him a year of so ago and he still lives in Missouri and is the leader or minister of a New Age type church that has lived quiety, and sustainably for the last 25 years. He apparently was a traditional minister for about 15 years before that.

I kept the book all my life thru thick and thin but put it in storage after loosing the big ranch and lost it. It was a beautiful leatherbound edition on velum with gold leaf. It served me well.

I have now decided to get me another one.

The one thing that struck me young and stayed with me all my life. It is also how I observe women. He said in my memory it is the obligation of mothers to give her children both roots and wings. If every mother heard that and did inner work for that we would have a very different world.

a hair analysis on him to test for anything underlying.
I was dowsing on him on the weekend and picked up
heavy metals which is apparently an increasing issue with
pets these days . Barry just happens to do hair analysis
Testing so I thought it worth doing. . Besides that I'm interested
to find out more about it i have not explored this much before
as a health testing modality. Seeing Ozzie was having fits last
year there might be a connection . And I do particularly like to
get to root causes with issues . Will update later .

I thought I would report on my talk with the young man from occupy la. Friday night I took him to dinner at Denny's late and he had been with me a week although in some ways it seems like a month. My husband and I agreed in our marriage that we would always go out to eat if we had to argue. We did that for 18 years and it worked like a charm. We had to keep our voices down and behave well in a civilized environment. Made me stay focused on the issues, no emotionality spilling over into animosity. Often took notes to make sure every issue was covered. Lucky for us, we were both whole integrated adults when we married and did not go to the mat often. What is amusing is that most that we did were over ideology most of which we did not differ but what we did was intense. Mostly over gender issues that in reality did not impact our own lives much.

At the dinner, I found myself quoting Gibran on wings and roots. This young man has neither and I have known that since I have met him. He is divided about everything which I did point out and he did acknowledge. His birth mother was a drug addict and he spent time in the system because of it, time with his grandparents, and time with his father and his step mother. All very different and very confusing growing up. His mother died when he was 19 of an overdose and was living with him supporting her since he was 18--about a year and half. He also has crone's disease with food a major issue.

I discussed my key issues with him--one of them being my keys. I have a known problem with them and he does not help. In fact, he took the one key to my electric bike back to Texas with him. He told me this from Texas on the phone. He did not send it back and he did not bring it back and now he has family "looking" for it in various parts of Texas.

Essentially, I tried not to lay a trip on him but illustrate to him what it was like for me to live with him--and in some ways support him. I said based on all the stories he told me--his major pattern was easy come and easy go and I was just part of that pattern in his eye. I told him I understood it to be habitual bahavior. I told him that if he still saw it as working for him--it was not working for me. And while he could stay here to finish a month--I was not supporting him in any way. He was on his own -- he could sleep here but I was not feeding him nor worrying about helping him find his way. He had to decide what he wanted for himself and then come up with a plan about how to get it. He could consult with me whenever he wished but I was volunteering nothing. I was no longer into the only skin in the game was mine. His eyes got watery but we simply moved on at the restaurant. He has been somewhat more responsible at the house since. I have no idea what he will do.

I told him that I could empower no one if I allowed myself to go down for any reason. There is a reason why birds of a feather fly together. This young man's liberterian BS which fails to acknowledge that we are in fact interdepent which is really true for he and I right now. I need some of his physical strength but it would be much easier and cheaper for me to just pay for a part time worker off of craigslist than share my home, car, computer, etc. with some one who wants to appear and disappear at his own pleasure. I am very tired of waiting for him for any reason. My time is very precious to me and I have a sense of urgency about a lot of stuff he simply does not. So be it. He is on his own.

I am very tired of waiting for him for any reason. My time is very precious to me and I have a sense of urgency about a lot of stuff he simply does not. So be it. He is on his own.

Thank You for sharing here, Write4change!

You are doing a very good thing....guidelines and parameters and firm and clear standing is so important.
If he is at a place in his life where he is going to decide to gather a bit of maturity it will be through Your kind of help that only comes through if they decide to come through.

Lol

Working again so no brewskis going on here (and now) but appears to be a quiet night and there is a big screen tv in the cafeteria so I expect I will catch a portion of the game myself.

I'm not much on football.... got a divorce over football and the idiot box....I do not watch tv too sensitive and could feel the energy from it try and hook my third eye energies -No Thank You

Still feeling the body work I had done -a little tired. Had some old feelings come up around some events that occurred when I was in my early teens.... The feelings came out and energies out & just went through it. Also for a whole day felt like a bag of bones....

Working into doing a fast..... not eating meat and eating fruits vegetable and sprouted grain breads & nuts and seeds.
I'm hypoglycemic too Marrian and I am doing ok with it. I have a raw foods smoothie in the middle of day and taking a full spectrum colloids -this really helps.

I misread the chatter here about the super bowl and thought it was tonight. Oops. We don't have football in Middle Earth.

Fellowship of the Ring on my screen this night. Extended version, of course.

I am sure I have seen the LoTR trilogy 15-20 times yet somehow ... think I am not in first place here (and now) in the village.

Actually I would far prefer that to the football game but since I am at work and getting paid ... I guess I can't complain too much eh

Fully understand Nora, that is a very good decision. I am pretty much the same with that box of craziness.
This is about the only thing I ever watch on tv when the home team makes it on its way to the final playoffs.
I will not watch commercials when i do that...I simply walk from the room or mute and read.
Sometimes documentaries or Nova...but otherwise it is a foreign object to me.

Dolphins are just the best

Dolphins get TOTALLY engaged with pregnant women. I had a friend who was a trainer at Dolphins Plus where they have a swim program.
He said when pregnant women got in with the dolphins would not leave them alone, to the point where the dolphins would not let them
leave the pool and had to be assisted to get out. he said he had also 'predicted' a couple of pregnancies when he saw the same behaviour
with women who were very early in their pregnancy and didn't know they were.
The trainer said they also were intrigued by his skull, because he has a plastic plate from a fractured skull. He also thought they detected
tumors as well.... they like anomalies :).

Calz, you are planning to do the lemonade tea cleanse in February? I'm in ... let me know when you are starting. Had a friend who added chlorella powder to her lemonade cos it has lots of protein.

Marianne

I made it two weeks twice. After the first couple days it isn't so bad. I never really felt hungry except one of the two fasts happened to include a July 4th gathering and we were grilling steaks and I was feeling mightly "neglected".

Cal

While on the lovely topic of "clearing mucus" here is something of interest from Dawn.

Perhaps JB can better be served by dancing to her music posts about 8 hours a day for a couple weeks???

:music::dance3::dance3::dance3::music:

I have a friend who went to India last year and spent 9 days in an ashram with a guru, who's message was about moving to the beat. In her stay she was required to stand in the presence of dance music, with a rhythmic beat, and shake or move for 8 (!) hours daily. She said that her body released 'tons' of mucus, that she didn't even know was there, during her 9 day stay. She also lost 12.5 pounds. She is in her 70s, and losing weight, or moving for 8 hours straight, is usually not done by people in this age bracket.

I also have another wonderful friend who is 74 and dances every Friday night until after midnight. It is the highlight of her week. She just sent me a video and, frankly I was very surprised at the information it contains. Seems TPTB have been busy, banning dancing and drumming, in many countries around the globe. Could this repression of dance and drumming, which re-connects circuits all over the body, be one reason why people have trouble awakening? What better way to gum up the body than to ban natural movement.

Here's the video. The first half is a very interesting history lesson about this, the second half is music and dancing.

Good Morning Ulli, I agree!

Only in my personal matters of interest...something very interesting is going on this year having to do with past happenings that have impacted our lives in the U.S. regarding the geographic locales of recent and distant history, I'll share more as things unfold.
...
In the meantime I am prompted to share openly that every action and transaction and interaction in front of each of us is having a sort of resonant frequency affect/effect on the overall changes taking place, there is a higher impact in everything we do now moreso than ever...the places where we are and the things we are doing upon listening and moving with the flow in the now in front of us is powerfully empowering the transformation...it is a whole 'ball of wax' sort of thing...everything is integrated...healing, awareness, balance, courage, ethics, alignment...you name it. The doings are taking hold and shaping things beyond comprehension...all we have to do is do the next good thing in front of us whatever that is personally to/with us!

And wherever each of us are and wherever each of us are going physically...we are meant to be there to integrate all of our past, present and future lives...so to speak, a correction each of us are/have been/will be a part of !

That was exactly my point. The poster who wrote about ET's entertainment had the name "apokalypse". I saw that as an omen.

But you are right. Ulli will play nice now.
Hello and welcome to the Village, apokalypse.
My, what a lovely name you have there.
Did you ever read "Childhood's End", by Arthur C. Clarke?
There it says the Et's did not approve of bull fights.
When the first sword entered the bull's neck the entire crowd of 10,000 spectators felt that pain and screamed. After that an English newspaper suggested that the Spaniards take up Cricket as their national sport.
I was so happy to have Dan_33 inform us the other day that in Barcelona bullfights have become illegal.

Better stick with Tom Lescher then. At least he is conscious.
When studying astrology the same rules apply as with choosing organic food over junk food.
The field is packed with disinfo.
Personally, a new moon squaring Jupiter is not too bad, and since it is in Aquarius it will emphasize the desire for freedom and independence.
Sextile Uranus...positive angle...more of the above.

And conjunct an asteroid? I refuse to give an asteroid that much power over me.
Sea monsters and yelping dog heads are meant for the PTB.

Your new signature made me think of this: from the Hidden Words of Baha'u'llah

O Son Of Spirit
The best beloved of all things in My sight is Justice; turn not away therefrom if thou desirest Me, and neglect it not that I may confide in thee. By its aid thou shalt see with thine own eyes and not through the eyes of others, and shalt know of thine own knowledge and not through the knowledge of thy neighbor. Ponder this in thy heart; how it behooveth thee to be. Verily justice is My gift to thee and the sign of My loving-kindness. Set it then before thine eyes.

Here and Now...tough morning. Grandson is here, spent night and will be here today. Has pneumonia, found out Friday. Sunday went for re-check, added another antibiotic, that's two, plus breathing treatments. Motrin/tylenol for fever, which was close to 104 when he woke up. Wondering what I can do to help him. I'm too old for this, lol, I'm exhausted. But, I'll be fine.

Got the keys to the new place yesterday. Current owner will be out Friday morning. Lots to do, motivated for none of it. Oh, I am ready to be there...yesterday, but today will be a waste. I'm not worried about it, probably should be. It really is beautiful there. Lots of outside and inside work to do...won't feel so much like work after living around people who are choking me though.

Don't know how to tell the difference otherwise.

Are these (Orbs) or Dust..?

12938

Frankly, I can never tell the difference. The best way is to take two pictures, one after the other.
In the second shot have someone drilling a hole in the wall, near the camera.
This will provide millions of dust orbs.
Then compare picture one and two.

Love this video. Horses know how , in some indescribable way to get right past all that emotional, and mental density and hit the power point and bring you right you right out of yourself. They see what is behind all that. They show you you're own power and make a place for it to express.

Personally I'd move to get rid of all these Psychologists, shrinks, drugs, healers, psychiatrists, shamans, medicine people and just replace them with horses. Someone can flog your chakras for a week and not do for you what a horse can do in ten minutes.

We've this old old OLD horse at the barn Josh, he's just such a gentle spirit that we let him out to roam the neighborhood the same way people let their cats and dogs out . He just wanders up and down the road and into people's yards and feilds and hangs out there all day and comes back when he hears the hay truck. One the few occasions he's kept in the neighbor's are alling wanting to know where he is. Out doing his doctoring. When horses reach a certain level of maturity the herd mentality seems to soften up on them a bit and they more solitary. They still want the hcerd around and to know it's there, but its no longer neccessary for them to be a part of it. They are never really disconnected from it so being in the midst of it isn't neccessary for them.

About to watch this....

Just watched this and realised that I have a picture of the father and child on the horse, on my vision board. I read the article in Soul and Spirit magazine a couple of years and it spoke so much to me that I cut the picture out. Amazing sync! I have no idea why I put it on my vision board I guess it made me hopeful of the future. Beautiful

Hey Jackovesk,

Orbs are spirits. they usually travel as sphyrical energy. The blue and purple/violet ones are rare and The white ones show up in pictures more often. There are also golden/white and silver/white. Also red orbs too....these are know as warrior spirits only-they protect the peoples' spirits/souls. The green and yellow orbs are the ones to watch out for -their energy is not high or very good. I'm not an expert only know a little. Anyways that's some of the basics of orbs.

Yes horse boy wonderful doco very much worth a watch It came via one of
my teachers . The woman I'm studying with a present in the USA is a horse
person also there does seem to be a shamanic link with them.
And my roughest time when the school yard bullying was at it's peak I was
spending most weekends at a local riding school I would work all day
cleaning out stables just to have a ride . it was a fair distance from my house
on foot too and if my parents wouldn't drive me I would walk It would take
me nearly an hour. I never did have my own horse and it's been years since
I have ridden but the connection is still very strong . Where ever I journey
I'm always on a horse.

Yesterday I felt anxious for no real reason, I'm figuring it was that strong
flare . I went and saw my doc who is now one of my friends, he's really
interested and supportive of my shamanic training . He is one of this
rare gps working in mind body health . I often give him copies of
docos and articles to open him up more to things we all here take as a
given. We are going to switch over to alpha -theta training which
opens up pathways to dreaming, rather than working on standard
training which works to help me with the 3D stuff like organizing
memory and time management .
This I consider to be a breakthrough as my issue / concern with
my biofeedback training was that it was making me more " normal"
which I don't want to be . So hes now on the same page as me
in that we are doing training to enhance and encourage my
"Shamanic"pathways, So I had a win there. My dreams are not all that
accessible to me and it's a big source of frustration. I know that
some of the trauma had a pretty big impact on how fluid my
other dimensional access is .
I'm just so happy to have so much support around me at this time
it's really humbling .

Ernie I read this today for Pisces and it resonated. New moon horoscope...What do you know? Why do you know it? How can you trust it? Where did you hear it? When did you last question it? These are not tricky questions. They are just the kind of inquiries you will have to get used to as the Year of the Water Dragon begins. You have got one idea about what you are capable of, what's available to you, what's beyond reach and what's impossible. The cosmos sees the whole thing very differently. And it sees you as a far more powerful person than you realise. Try to see that point of view!

The thing that needs to be changed is the meme that peace is the opposite of "war".
maybe we have to thank Leo Tolstoy for creating such a powerful meme.

If we could see peace as the opposite of action, or even conflict, then extreme bloodshed, violence and horror would become a thing of the past.

Equally, if laziness is a more extreme version of peace, that also might be a meme worth eradicating.

I just checked:
Leo Tolstoy's War and Peace was first published in 1869. It is considered one of the most important pieces of world literature.
If we really think about it, then no wonder that war has sunk deep into the human psyche.

Ghandi had a vision one week before he died:
that the word "war" would soon disappear from the pages of the world's dictionaries.

P.S. This typo really needed to be corrected.
Important instead of Impotent.

It depends on your e-mail account. Most have a trash folder that holds deleted messages for up to a week.
Then you can "move" those accidentally deleted messages back to your Inbox.

It might have helped if you could have let people know which type of e-mail account you have.
I googled "accidentally deleted e-mail inbox" and a whole lot of sites came up where this was being discussed.
You may wish to try that.

"Won't go back to public relations". ROARING at the hermit sketch.

Dan The Moon card so spot on for me and totally Piscean. The correlating number to the Moon is 18, which reduces to 9. Being the last of the single numbers, nine represents the final stage of the seeker. My fate no is 9, so that's interesting. Im also entering a 9 year in March.

Like the Hermit, the image of the Moon is one of isolation and subjection. The seeker must continue his journey down a dimly lit path. Here, his senses are of no use to him. He now must rely on his inner light, the light of his intuition. The Moon requires great courage, as its path is a daunting one. However, if followed, the path can lead to the doorway of higher consciousness.

This is the decisive turning point for the seeker. Should he become mesmerized by the moon's mysterious beauty, he will remain stuck. He will lose sight of the final stage of his spiritual development. If he forces himself forward, however, he will enter the kindsom of light. His final task includes discerning what is an illusion and what is truth. In a Tarot reading, the Moon always encourages us to expore areas where self-deception has blinded us from our true path. Like the seeker, we must have the courage to trust our intuition.

Another element of the Moon tarot is the principle of reflection. The moon reflect both the light of the Sun (higher consciousness) and human intelligence (the creative consciousness). The Moon often refers to the concept of cause and effect. It reflects our behaviors and instincts back to us. It is at this point we are confronted with an opportunity to evaluate whether our behaviours are aligned with our value system. We are forced to either transend or remain stagnant. Often the Moon suggests that behaviour modifications may be necessary. In a Tarot reading, the Moon beckons us to make a decision. Do you want to rise into higher consciousness or remain attached to the deception of your illusions?

Interestlngly, in Osho's Tarot this card is Past Lives. Thanks Dan. Being born a Pisces was never gonna be an easy one!! But I have to say, when Im not falling into illusion, I do love it so. Im here to learn and learn I shall. Love it.

Wow! Teach me, Lisab.... :)

Moon XVIII, and the next is The Sun... the enlightment.

If we could see peace as the opposite of action, or even conflict, then extreme bloodshed, violence and horror would become a thing of the past.

Wow, bringing back memories of first lessons of awareness with this one, eaglespirit and ulli.

We create the world we desire by the way in which we speak, reinforcing it with action. At the very beginnings of my journey, I learned the importance of speaking in positives...ie loving peace is more powerful than hating war. By hating war and desiring it's elimination, the 'universe' (and I use that term loosely) is left to 'fill in the blanks' as to what we desire in its place. By loving peace, speaking our desires for a peace-filled world, and acting in a peaceful manner, positive energy is released to create the world we envision. The more people who do this, the more peace is created....overcoming those things opposite to it.

Wish I could remember where and how I learned this...it has become so much a part of me that even describing it is difficult.

I think it is our current idea of what peace is that is changing...it is so much more than lack of war and violence. By acknowleding it's opposite, we somehow limit its meaning. Imagine complete peace in all beings in all ways...the very thought of violence and war would not exist.

I think it is our current idea of what peace is that is changing...it is so much more than lack of war and violence. By acknowleding it's opposite, we somehow limit its meaning. Imagine complete peace in all beings in all ways...the very thought of violence and war would not exist.

I think it was a quote by Mother Theresa that was making the rounds of the Internet some years ago.

I'm cooking again... Japanese soba noodles with sizzled garlic, celery and tiny broccoli bits, with a sauce of mirin, tamari, sesame seeds. Oh, and I hid a little Hijiki seaweed in there, shhhh.
Baked butternut squash. Fresh pea soup with herbs.
Butternut bisque tomorrow with the leftover butternut.

So glad You added in, Ulli...we are riding the wave : ) ...was sure a Villager would elaborate, thanks!

Perhaps, but I learned this over 40 years ago...it changed my life.

I have a Scorpio ascendent, and would sting anyone and everything at will...and sting is putting it mildly. I have this weird ability to see people's vunerabilities and flaws, and that was the first place I would attack...over and over again. Words were my weapons, and I used them well and often. Having a Leo sun with its confidence only made it worse...I was righteously angry! I was not a bully...I would protect the weaker from their bullies...or so I justified my actions to myself.

I first learned about the Scorpio ascendent from someone a friend of mine introduced me to...I've always wondered if she did it as an act of self-defense. Anyway, this person was an astrologist and did a reading for me. We talked for quite a while after. The most important thing to come out of this conversation was that I had a choice to make...I could continue in life as I had been, giving in to my scorpio nature or I could choose to soar above it.

There began my journey. I was led to so many different 'teachers', lessons, books, etc. Somewhere early on came the lesson in speaking positives.

It could have come from Mother Theresa, but approximately 40 years ago...I simply don't remember.

And I thank my guides and angels for helping me when I feel my strength is not enough, and when I'm to much on the window-free inside of my human experience. I breath fresh air!

Ehh, maybe that is not what was meant, but how can peace be opposite of action? If we find peace inside, and manifest it outside, we are in balance and full power to make significant action for ourselves and humanity! Opposite to disharmony, fear, chasing happiness outside, yes. But not to action.

Did I misunderstand something? :) HUGS TO EVERYONE!

I have Scorp rising too. I know exactly what you mean about seeing peoples weakest, most susceptible wounds to drip some nice hot venom into. I, thankfully, no longer even think that way. I do still see peoples vulnerabilities and employ it in my bodywork and energy work. It allows me to do very deep work, not physically so much, on them. It also allows me to control wise asses and boundary violators. When they act up I give them a few verbal 'taps' and let them know that good manners are the way to get out alive, :eyebrows:

The owning of power is a responsibility and privilege. Its' misuse has a terrible kick back when you get deep into the game.

One of the best parts of Here and Now is that there is always someone who understands what you're talking about.

I still see the vunerabilities and flaws as well, but they now appear more as wounds to be healed...as are my own which I tend to see clearer than those of others, though more difficult to heal. Hence, the use of Ho'oponopono...lots of love and forgiveness to myself and others.

In all these years I have become perhaps a little too gentle in my ways, or maybe it's just that I no longer hold whatever it is that caused me to strike back. I just keep picturing that eagle soaring above the scorpion...

Keeping order is a form of love and people thrive in it, especially kids. My wife does not have the same control over her cats that I do. That is because I speak 'cat' to them. That means the no is often 'spoken' with an intentioned swat/tap. If you watch cats, it is how they communicate 'definitive' boundaries. I do it with no malice and telepathic reinforcement. It is just language and no more. If it was not needed I would not use it. I have no emotional attachment to being physical, actually the opposite is the case.

Nice, clear, unequivocal communication is all that is desired. It is all about intent and knowing your heart.

Some people require tiny ego stings to recognize boundaries and messages. Others are adults, LOL.

It is the Water Dragon, here is what I belive to be conformation: http://www.usbridalguide.com/special/chinesehoroscopes/Dragon.htm
There are 5, corresponding the the Chines 5 element theory. Water, Metal, Fire, Earth and Wood. Metal corresponds with Western Air, the use of Swords for the Air Element in the tarot ties the systems together nicely. Wood works as the Ether, the Western 'source' element.

I was starting to think you slipped the dragon one of your elvish cloaks which allowed for it to blend in with whatever environment it was currently in ....

Here and Now. Something really hit a while ago. A couple of hours ago, actually. I became overwhelmed with agitation and depression. My brain was going through it all...there are all these solar flares, I got no sleep last night, they are this or that. It doesn't really matter why, though, does it? It is what it is. I couldn't ball up and cry a bit, which no doubt would have helped. I was able to unload on hubby in about 10 seconds, speed-talking I think. I am thankful he was kind and let me speak, then I was somewhat better. It has almost all gone now, which is the weirdest thing. That kind of heaviness doesn't just "poof" so now I'm wondering why it hit my so hard, and how in the heck did it just poof?

Another presidential thingy on the TV...oh, when is gonna learn it makes no difference. sigh. Oh, maybe it will. This is just a bullying contest between the two biggest mouths for the elite.

Daughter going click, click, click. Someone walking up the stairs, probably brother with dinner and dog. Something is humming really loudly, I can't decide what. All the clocks are keeping their own rhythms, apparently not paying any attention to the headache I'm nursing. Insensitives.

Going to bed early, wondering what tomorrow will bring. Another doctor for the little one, as he is not improving. Mom's taxi service has a full day...Definitely engrossed in the 3d for the next day or so.

Much love,

astrid
24th January 2012, 03:51
well, many many ways to do this,
( others please add your methods here also if you like)
For me, i spend as much time as i can in nature and bare foot.
I grow alot of my own food, and i find that serves many more
functions for me than just the food part. One is it helps me balance
my time online, and to ground any extra EMF pollution that that might
involve. Being in and around water also another good one for grounding.
Salt water baths, or if i don't have much time i shower, making sure all
of my Chakras get a clean, even crown needs a splash . Eating grounds us too,
even drinking water does. Not sleeping with any electronics makes a big difference too.
No phone chargers, or phones, or computers on, any wifi in the house turned off too.
It all gives you more of a total rest from being bombarded with external energies
which your body then has to process.

These days, especially in cities its getting near impossible to not be blasted with
EMF pollution and 24/7.

From the movie, Roy Richard Grinker Ph.D. Anthrolopologist
"One of the most common things that anthropologists have found among healers, like shamans, is that almost always, people who are shamans , no matter whether they are in East Africa or whether they are in central Asia, or South America or Australia they have gone through some sickness. Often that illness is an illness with a constellation of symptoms that are certainly neuropsychiatric. The shamans dont show neurological symptoms because they're shamans, its because they had these neurological symptoms. We dont know why, but what we do know is that the line between a shaman and say a psychoanalyst is not that clearly drawn. We are one of the few societies that treat neurological and psychiatric differences, by creating institutions where we separate people completely from society. Most other cultures aren't like that. "

MW, I noticed a couple of nights ago, out for a walk, it was very cloudy but the light in the sky was unusually bright. Some of it, I think, is the ambient light from the city below being reflected by clouds which it always is on a cloudy night.... but even accounting for that, it was brighter than I've ever seen it. And I walk quite a bit at night. I hadn't considered the auroral activity... wonder if it could've been, being this far south. As you say, it was there.

the light is showering down upon us in endless buckets day or night, clear or overcast : )

Share a little story to do with current going ons.
We're all where we are for good reasons...and my reasons have been wondrous.
I have been sharing spontaneous transmissions I get with my daughter in private whenever they come in and whenever it works for timing while we are here in the house together. Just yesterday I talked with her...motioning her to the room I was in and closed the door. I had gotten another blast of higher going ons and how her brother and her and I were integrated in other than earthly ways and well...a few minutes after that sharing, Tara motioned to me with a smile and in a whisper told me what Charlotte, my 4 year old granddaughter had said to her the day before.
My daughter is planning a trip with the kids for a few days visit to northern California to visit her mother's parents as they are getting up in years and she would like a nice connection for the children and her grandparents while she can make the time.
What Charlotte said to her was "Yes momma, we have to go see Grandma Betty before we turn into angels, we don't have alot of time"...Now, hows that for a heart melting delivery from a young soul, and it was right in rhythm with what I had shared with Tara and no one was around...and I had said to her that Charlotte was a little angel soul, haha!

Things change in a moment don't they Ernie. If they didn't I'd just stay in bed with my covers over my head. I ususally take Jan and Feb off because Christmas ruins any chance of normal transactions, people are paying their Christmas debt off. I've busy enough to keep me busy and tired but the intake is rather unsatisfactory I'm not sure whether I'm going for broke or I'm going broke.

This one *could* be rather important and will leave it up to you villagers to decide on what (if anything) you would like to contribute energetically to this.

Two very trusted (personal) sources suggest this is worth taking a serious look at.

Modwiz, have you ever heard about a legend or prophecy made by "Merlin" about Joan of Arc? "A woman will come from the Lorena woods and she will set free the peoploe of France" (something like that). I readed in a book about Joan. Another biography, tells about Pitagoras teaching Joan in a past life ( an imagination of the writer, but very cool) Mercantel i think is the writer.

Well, Modwiz or anyone :)

So, here and now I wake up to find a thread about me. We can thank our own JB for seeing it and acting. Thank you JB.
I do find it curious that no senior mods or admins seemed to upset about an ad hominem thread. No vacation for Mr. Blake. I guess targets matter and he picked one that...........LOL

Anyway beautiful day here in the Mountains and I have my integrity intact while some others opt for a more raggedy form. It seems solar flares only have positive results in positive people. It would seem they create terrible hemorrhoids in others. :wizard:

I did think of replying to our emotionally compromised member but decided against it. Conversations are best conducted among equals. I think he needs more fiber in his diet. :thumb:

I picked up from the theme of the post that Modwiz physically carried his daugher off to be bred by an older man. That Modwiz would absolutely not rest until his daughter became a woman, dammit! :p

Or rather the emotional drama attached in the post brought up some interesting visuals best not mentioned here only to say its a reflection of the internal struggle the OP is involved in with his own daughters.

You are undoubtedly correct, my friend. His emotions strangled his intellect and his tantrum resulted. I am very aware of the TNT in this subject. I had similar dysfunctional debates with Wiccans and Pagans whose emotions could not allow them to see their own hypocrisy.
I will let the subject die and though it seemed odd to see him not 'vacationed' yet, I do not care one way or the other. I do not believe in punishment either. I do wish to just ignore him and the stink the thread started. The day progresses and so shall we all.

Here and Now...busy day...
getting a minor surgery appointment,
getting filled in with my local 3D village news (NOT this Cyber Village) in a 2 hour telephone conversation
finding a plot for a WW3 false flag operation in the Persian Gulf
and most of all, discovering that a whistle blower's report about creating terrorist cells in the Middle East
on behalf of covert military plans to create future anti terrorist homeland security measures which are designed to
disempower the public at large and prepare them to become slaves of a world fascist government,
turns into a food fight about the age of consentual sex.
We know our Modwiz has a hyper- sensitive antenna for anyone trying to distract from the real issues,
but he may not have been quite prepared for the protective instinct of anyone trying to raise young daughters in this day and age.
Added to that, their spouse had asked for action far worse than an ad hominen thread,
so maybe Modwiz, call yourself lucky that you can celebrate another birthday tomorrow.

Since all the Villagers know and love you we are here in case you need anything...
but I can also see some of Mr. Davis' points...as long as men raise daughters there will be potential for conflict.
I feel a bit torn here now....always seeing the good in everybody, understanding all sides.

Mr Blake has no idea what I was truly saying. It required thoughtful consideration, a state not permitted when primitive emotions create harmonic/hormones responses that call adrenaline into the picture. Adrenaline has the unique property of directing blood away from some organs (frontal cortex) and into the muscles for instant action. This is not a neurochemical state conducive to higher brain function, which was amply demonstrated

Well, true or not, thats the energy of George Best left here.... "down here" :)

Boy do people get their nickers in a twist about things that they neither have control over ,
nor any real knowledge of what they speak.

Who ever thinks that parents have a say over what age teenagers "grow up"
has got to be seriously deluding themselves.
I always went out with older men, i went out hunting them, lol
and i looked 20 at 16. Did i lie about my age, no i didn't have to,
but most did and had fake IDs and were getting into clubs from 15,
and this was early 80's
Never underestimate the power of a woman.. even at 16.
And that has SERIOUSLY been overlooked
and underestimated in this whole debate. Protect the innocent, sure, agreed.
But there is no controlling a teenager when hormones take over, period,
enough said.

Anyways.. sorry for post that here, but just wanted to put in my 33 cents.

I tell my daughter all the time when she complains about the boy drama. It doesn't go away, it just gets more sophisticated in how it unravels between the sexes as we get older.

I have heard the expression before about a billion zillion dicks (literally and figuratively) waiting to get at my daughter. However she has tremendous discernment ability and I'm only concerned how many dicks she is going to break before her powers of discernment, plunging all of Man into a impotent abyss of despair. (he he) I can't deny her experiences that are going to serve to form her discernment ability later in life, how is she going to know what is right for her if she doesn't have the experience of what is wrong for her?

.I sleep pretty soundly at night in regards to my daughter. Allowing that power of herself, there's no need to worry. And she's inexperienced of course she's only 16, but to listen to her scoff at her dick pursuers is pretty funny. Young women are really only vulnerable if their sense of self value has been smashed and buried below where they can readily employ it. Same as older women.

So I ask her, "Well what did you find lacking in that one? "

"He had a pedophile moustache."

Don't ask me, I didn't ask and I really don't want to know. It's her radar, I ain't judging it.

astrid

Yes, unfortunately i had the type of ( Christian) parents that believed if
you didn't tell her about it, she wouldn't do it. And the "locking her up"
style of parenting, which i managed to manipulate and smart my way around.
If anything it was all a good lesson how not to parent, lol.
If you don't already have a good relationship with your kids before puberty,
forget about thinking you can " protect " them from themselves.

I ended up declaring my family insane and parenting myself anyways,
worked out much better, at least i got to wash off all their toxic programming.

The storm passed and it's very cold on the mtn -no clouds. Havve a good hot fire burning in the stove. We had a small earthquake here late afternoon and the military helicopters have been busy. They have been pretty active for the past couple of weeks and saw a couple of blacks ones in the last month.

I didn't read through the whole thread.....kept getting distracted -phone calls, and then decided to go online and look up renewable energy sources and how to build photo voltaic structures; LED sources and basic organic growing.
