For Middle Earth types there is another sleepy, but friendly, thread here:http://projectavalon.net/forum4/showthread.php?35285-The-hobbit-...a-unexpected-journey....jrr-tolkien&p=425047#post425047. There are some tapes and songs I was unaware of. Cidersomerset started and keeps it going. I lazily add two artworks from Ted Nasmith everyday. Here is one of my favorites. It is currently my desktop:http://www.tednasmith.com/lotr3/TN-The_Blue_Wizards_Journeying_East.jpg

Dream last night with a black panther. She was so happy playing with me that i was a little scared, running and jumping at me, and biting my hand (like a cat). She was very big. :)

Hey Marianne, gonna add another one on top of all the other ones...
I subtly suggest Your Friend personally "enjoy" Sunrises and Sunsets whenever possible...breathe them in!
Thanks ES -- I will tell her. I think she's ready to hear new things and take them in.... breathing in a sunrise/sunset fits beautifully with the new ways of being I want to tell her about.

As for bringing pictures of food into the thread, I think that plate might be similar to one of the favorites of someone here. I know I like it but it did not come to me unbidden. In the same way that purple guessed the next song on the list, this might be similar. I did not consciously desire to bring that in as a wicked act, I didn't even consciously think of that aspect. Perhaps that makes me way more cool in my perceived wickedness (?), if it indeed be such, for it is done under the cloak of innocence. (of a Spockian nature)
Cant be me, I like mine Arrabiata style. Hawt with loads of fresh chillies. http://www.millerfilm.com/spacelinks/wink_emoticon.bmp
But yes. I could own that. :tongue1:
Anyone else?
I prepared a penne pasta dish with a similar appearance yesterday. With the exception that the tomatoes were not sun dried and the sauce was seasoned with chipotle peppers. I did not eat the meal myself. My kitchen has a pass-through counter to a lower level room, but not underground.
It's all about the impression in my mind. Sometimes the clarity does not come until the day is completely over or at it's end and all the elements arrive. It's that thing about all time and all events occurring at once, everywhere.

I ended my fast a day early. All the talk about food in this thread just made me want to throw something across my taste buds. Hunger was not the problem. I am at least 10 pounds overweight so any feeling of hunger had to be BS, LOL. I will start again in a day or two and see about staying out of this thread. I did not see food thrown about in other threads. A lot of crap, yes, LOL.

And..Larry Niven's Ringworld. A world with the surface area.. of 3.7 million earths.
People try to recreate the impression of such a thing..and they just can't quite get there. But one begins to get a glimpse, in the mind, of the sheer scale. But....the mind almost breaks. My knees get weak from just the thought of looking up into the sky...at that. It circles right around the sun.....

2 million kilometers wide, and 950 million kilometers long (around).
When you look at this (http://img.myconfinedspace.com/wp-content/uploads/tdomf/207075/Video-Game-Halo-4752.jpg), remember, to visit someone....it is not maybe 1000km, or even lets say, like flying to the other side of the planet. No..... 2 million km wide. (the wall is 1600km high) (http://www.spacelands.de/images/galerie/ringwelt.jpg) The feeling of insignificance and total connection..would be complete. Who says that science fiction has no soul? It would be burned into your existence, right from birth. In this 'shopped' image, imagine that when it finally takes shape out of the atmospheric clouding and cover, and comes up into definition due to it's curvature...we are talking about that point on the lowest horizon, being some good 2-2.5 million km's away. (!)
If one where to go the distance of 1/3rd of the way to the moon (http://www.ascendantjustice.com/files/cocop/The%20Ark/The%20Ark%20Large/OpeningShot1-large.jpg), straight up from the surface....and look down the rotational axis..it might look something like this:
http://www.squareshadow.com/graphics/ringworld/cup5_l_half.jpg
Remember, that is 100,000km up from the surface. not feet, or meters...but 100k km.

I love this kind of stuff, too.
Was fascinated reading somewhere (can't remember where) about a guy on a planet which had two suns.
Had me thinking about the four times of day, when both suns would be below the horizon, when both would be above, then only one, then the other.
Made me realize that our concept of duality might well be linked to the fact that we only have one sun. It is "burned into our existance, right from birth". Well said.

Wow. Thank you Carmody for the post. My sense of understanding of scale is no longer the same. That makes me yearn for something that I can't readily identify.
The same with Meetings of Remarkable Men, which Ulli posted earlier.

Yeah - you two were posting around about the time of the nightly backup, which stalls the forum server software for several minutes. That's when most duplicate posts appear, whether due to confusion of human or computer, I don't actually now.
Ilie and I are working on something that might improve this ... changes to the way that nightly backups run that will significantly reduce their impact.

It's really too bad...as it was a great book.
About a guy (human and a martial arts expert, which the author really is) going spelunking..and passes through a cave which is similar to the piezoelectric quartz type 'natural' gates we hear about..into an alternate time line..where racoons ended up being the dominant force, the ones who made it to the top. They are dominated or ruled by a precognitive ruler type religious caste, but most have a bit of skill of some sort. The main character's martial arts skills are a joke to these incredibly capable precog intelligent bipedal racoons. Considered to be one of THE original 'furry critter' sci-fi fantasy stories.
Such an awesome title and cover. I've been waiting for the sequel since 1987.

Amazing pictures
Took me a few times to get the above video Carmody posted to play -wouldn't play.
After I got it started watched it a few times.
Would feel weird to see another planet with a moon on the horizon. Definitely weirder to see a crystalline ring(s) around the sun.
Looking at the pictures felt like I was going to fall into energy vortices or ride a wave scale up and over to another solar system.

From Wikifur:
"Where's the rest of THE ARCHITECT OF SLEEP?
In a box in my closet. For the longest time I've had every intention of finishing it, but thanks to the existence of (and the kind of mail I get from) furries, I've changed my mind."
Another furry novel I read, and can't remember title nor author's name....maybe someone can fill me in
About a scientist who had been on assignment on the sea floor, in an underwater bell, and when several weeks later he came back to the surface ship everyone had died of radiation poisoning, WW3 had happened while he was down there...and he found one survivor...a fellow scientists pet monkey....a chimpanzee, I think, and which had a bandage
around it's throat. So he removes the bandage and sees two copper wires sticking out of it's skin. As he connects the wires the monkey starts to speak...
"i've been waiting for someone to do this..."
Monkey is 100% coherent, only problem is the scientist is Jewish, and the monkey's former handler was a fundie Christian...still, despite their often hefty religious debates they begin a lasting relationship...the monkey is a female... and it sorta goes into an Adam and Eve type of scenario....

Wow, had almost forgotten one of my fav reads of a coupla decades ago.
All this ring-worlding and two-or-more-sunning reminds me of a dream i had,
though it's sth completely different:
Been inside a hollow planet, very small scale (felt like a... potato, compared to earth).
Imagine ripe green fields wherever you look, even overhead.
All this was guarded by 'tall grumpy dwarves' - maybe 8 ft tall,
and grumpy 'cause of my obviously completely unexpected intrusion.
After having proven my harmlessness to them, one showed me around.
Keepers of the Harvest, permanently growing organic things, hidden from sight
and any possible outside influence. The good that grows unspoiled by the surface madness.
The hollow world had round portals to other worlds - one could look right into sth completely different.
Thanks for the awesome pics [which served as a memory trigger]!!
Does anyone know Hans-Werner Sahm?

What's new here?.....
A short while ago I decided to make a cup of tea before going to bed and as I went to turn on the kettle a very large Huntsman spider crawled out from under the microwave. It was waving its front legs at me! These spiders are about 8cm across and quite hairy! I'm not scared of them as they are harmless and catch flies and mosquitos--- BUT they are very unsettling to meet with just before sleep!
I caught him and put him into the garden and now I am WIDE AWAKE!
Maybe I'll have a small glass of something a little stronger than tea!

.. 'tis raining with the heavy fat drops of a distant storm around my open windows on a warm summer night in Queensland. The frogs are barking, as the rain pitter-patters upon my tin roof. I'm sipping on my second long tall "Bloddy Mary" as I drift into rythm with the keys of reply. The humming of my fan brushes across a guitar almost filling the background with an unheard song. Geckos on the glass make their bellies glow as they stalk their plentiful buffet... I could go on, but I will be miss the show... X

I will be leaving shortly for a visit with a friend who lives outside of town, an hour and a half drive. We haven't seen each other for a while. It will be nice to touch her, hug her, kiss her, which cannot be done over the phone. I don't drive as much as I used to. I wish I could bring the Village's music with me for the drive. I've put off posting much more to that,as the connective tissue does nothing but build. This is a natural offshoot of the thing about 'completing pictures', regarding dot connecting. Once you get to a certain point, then the rest fills in quickly. It's those first few pieces with no references for positioning that become difficult to step into.
I found that, to find my way around this issue..that the best tactic was to utilize parallel paths and then use their template as an overlay. For the basis of existence itself, regarding the human systems of object and subject...causes our edifices to cognate along parallel paths in lateral or adjacent subjects or adjacent connections/tasks. As above-so below, and thus..as nearby-the climb is the same. The layout is the same.
Hiding within this simple point of realization ---is one of the key points in how the renaissance person is born. This flows back to how the Bavarian Illuminati as a factual point of potential connections go..how this group was born not a few miles and not a few years from where the 'Renaissance human' as an ideal to aspire to...how this was ripped out of "scientific methodology evolution", regarding the evolution of and into modern scholastic or 'university' making. How we began to evolve teaching and elevation of skill sets, how the 'point to aspire to' was changed..from completeness..into a fractured blindness (specialization of engineering and sciences).
When you add in the level of penetration of the secretive caste type mentality of the Bavarian version of Freemasonry as utilized by the Illuminati, you can see the 'hidden hand' in it's insidiousness.
However, there is a flip side to such views, a potential... that few like to speak of. That everything is unfolding as it should.... and all involved learn the lessons that they need to learn, at whatever level they may be at. That all who are in the dance, at any given level, even down into knowing levels of black ops and scientific insanities.... are getting what they need -to evolve.
The danger of such discussion, if true, can remove the polarization and drive within people that helps them push themselves through evolution, like a chick that has to fight it's way out of and past the shell and into a different world, one no longer filled with shadows and murmurings.
The point is that... if one has a small group that evolves beyond most who are flowing and attempting, they (the small fast evolving group or type) can then dominate systems of evolution... and this is dangerous for the mass group who are doing the same. The question then becomes one of wondering if the hidden hand... is under the same spell, but at a different level. The idea of controlling the controllers, which is a common human theme that comes to mind at some level of evolution for all of us..... so transference of idealization of such, into the situation --becomes near automatic.
Awareness while human and in a duality state is no simple task, and thus the pressures within those who might attempt control of the masses are even more likely to be controllable. As any set of extended skills, in human terms, can only act as a set of extended blinders with a reach is at least as far, and thus create (and be) a lever of control through such blindness... which is even more potent.
The analogy is that a thief thinks that everyone around him is a thief and thus lives through that particular set of polarized and colored glasses, and due to the depth of such a mechanism is even more blinded and controllable than those he may think are beneath him. In such a way, the world of somnambulistic humans and their tiers of society and culture... can be controlled through this small mechanism/pyramid that is peaked. Much like controlling a human's motion by subtle twists -an aikido master.
Since we are blind to such manifestations and depths, regarding 'knowing'... the automatic position of the human edifice is to assign fear and danger to such a place in the mists..and thus we project fears and potentials of fears into that area. Reptilians, Illuminati, etc, etc. We throw everything we don't know and can idealize as a evolved and multi-tiered fear, into it. Thus we become the reflection of our own projected insanity, as the Buddhists warn us about.
So..when I look at all this stuff, I try to keep the above in mind. Otherwise the edifice (construct and act) of peering through a human avatar can cause it's own issues--of this exact nature. The question is if it is a planned point of realization or if it is 'real-realization'... as a consensus reality system and the idea of timelines, and dreaming, formation etc.
Ach! Oy!
It gets messy. In some ways, the sooner we give in and put the sword down, the sword of the body's reactions and projections, the sooner evolution reaches us. One must also remember that the projections and fears lay the groundwork for evolution, if one inhabits a human avatar.
I keep flipping about, trying different masks on, alternately taking things on and then giving them up, shifting realities and clothes, in attempts to see all the different angles, and even the giving up of all attempts and peering. Anything goes, including nothing.
If one takes on the idea of lamarkism (genetic change within one life-recently proven to be real and true) and the idea presented most recently via the 'Irishman' in the David Wilcock interview by Kerry...(they only care about the genome) ..and combines that with the writings of Dolores Cannon and that of Micheal Newton, we then can possibly see that it MAY a be case where the students are building their own vehicles at the same time they are learning.
This is paralleled (as above so below) in this known case of software designed to both build and kill itself at the same time, and the results coming out of it... when it is utilized to complete tasks... is nothing less than astonishing.
Since we tend to repeat ourselves in levels of 'above and below' just like that, as mirrors of our true selves, there is potential that this is also a base part of our existence as a somnambulistic occupied avatar. The universe seemingly hates waste (in there is a complex explanation), so complex paths of parallel usage and layers are seemingly the norm within the context of all evolving systems. The more corners one looks around the more layers and paths are seen. essentially, this sort of thing, as realizations go, is a good part of the Buddhist source of the combined laughing and crying faces.
This directly indicates that the most damaged and dysfunctional families are the hardest evolving and hardest working groups of spirits or beings that are connected to a set of given genetically connected avatars.
Which is contrary to most people's impression.....ie, the value in one's own stressing with regard to providing evolution of the self and the avatar. Thus the idea of insanity in a human world is a craft of purposeful design that is a nightmare and a thing of beauty, all at the same time. We are riding the ragged edge of disaster, which is where the evolution takes place.
Comfort zones are dead air, they are nothing, nothing at all, so we are designed to desire them, to grieve for them...but we cannot have them (for long)....if we wish to learn anything at all. So we alternately get stress then rest to figure out the lay of the land and absorb, then back on the wheel of pain....
Also, that this, as an idea, is not to be bandied about as a announcement, but a thing to be arrived at as an individual.... and leave the rest of the mess to those who need it, those whom are working it for all they are worth.
Thus, that we may be peaking in the capacity of this given system, as it is now.. to handle this level of stressing and that some level of the mask of somnambulism must come off or down..fairly soon. the human avatar appears to be coming close to 'brick walling' and thus the levels may need to decrease, fairly soon.
How that comes about... is a real question, isn't it?
Sometimes I like to take a break from such thinking..and just smoke a joint and play a video game. (that is that time when my postings seem to morph into something else--slightly--I've sawed off the top reaches of my awareness) Bored to tears.... in some ways. So I eviscerate my mind to some degree, to try and enjoy the so called normal human up-downs of 'life'. A self hypnotic, if you will. Which is entirely ironic and humorous. Suits my sense of humour.
The danger is in getting lost ---and then the path back. I'm not sure there is any case of scientific based 3D matter manipulation that is beyond me, if given opportunity to apply energy upon it. Then I find myself trying to find ways to exist in a world where I have to 'hamsterwheel my avatar' (pedal furiously, now!) in order to 'pay rent' and other such 'things'. Such insanity.
For I am at the wall of that current understanding..when my head is clear...(as it is now) and have passed beyond it on some levels. (dimensionally, internally, etc)
Yet here I remain, communicating on and at this particular 3d level. Waiting. Impatiently. (And patiently, sometimes..... daydreaming......)

Belle, what kind of juice are you making? I am juicing day by day, until it feels like I should stop.
I juice by the glass, fresh each time. Of course, my juicer had a nervous breakdown yesterday and I had to get a new one! Fresh fruit juice in the morning; mixture of fruit and veg. midday; and veg juice in the evening....all organic fresh fruits and vegies. I have fun using different combinations...tickles the tastebuds.
Since I eat for nutrition all the time anyway, I haven't been hungry as long as the juices meet my nutritional needs...and fresh juiced seems to do it for me.

Lol
Day 4. The talk of food in the thread is "child's play". Much harder with family around. The *smells* make you crazy. Try going out to dinner at a great spot and sitting through the whole meal drinking only water or lemonaide while twiddling your thumbs trying to avoid lustfully gazing on the yummies.

It is informative to ponder the legend of the temptations of Jesus by the Adversary/Tester. They would not have been legitimate temptations unless they were ideas for consideration within the mind of Jesus. Some of the masks he tried on in his thoughts.

I expanded it. Haw! Ok, I'm done now. I think. My problem is that I want to grab people and demand that they evolve, and in order to do that, I have to look insane to them. As often as possible,

but still give room for them to ponder points of reason. 'The Shock Doctrine' (http://www.naomiklein.org/shock-doctrine) but applied by the humane, not the blinkered. Of course, which is more valuable? Which is more valid? Which is more real? Me doing it , or them? In the context of all... A toughie at best. Perhaps my job is to merely attend to my corner.

I've been sitting in front of people and cutting my guts out in front of them and pondering the visions and signs in the entrails..for as long as I can remember, and it gets tiring.
But... the system seems to necessarily be 'one serving per customer', so all you can do..is let the hungry see you eating... and then they might want to 'get them some'.

Life in general is 'messy'. Knowledge takes the potential fear of the unknown (considered a negative), organizes it, and gives an understanding (considered a positive) that can be used to see the overall view clearly...and become a case of "it is what it is; how can I use it to evolve"...taking a step away from duality.
I choose to evolve as 'universe' intends, with eyes wide open to the many potential pitfalls and ego-led temptations that may be placed in front of me along the way. If nothing else, it will be an interesting journey. Thank you for helping me along my way.

We speak of the magic of fire and hot peppers, necessary and vital warmth, huddling by the stoves and frigid cold air pervading/shaping human activity,
of water locked in an enchanted and brutal frozen state, the kingdoms of nature, of healing and wellness,
of our individual and collective human experience in these dimensional sheaths on the crustal surface of the planet.
We speak of the changing times, the timelines and potential scenarios, the crumbling of a paradigm and
the birthing, the creation of something new.
As the winter winds howl and snow at long last falls at 3400' up in this mountainous cove, this watershed, I had a vision...
of a little icon for this thread of communal striving and sharing. A little burning flame that appeared when we 'logged on'
to join in and speak about what here and now is like for our family, our tribe(s), our species, for each other.
It sits off to the side flickering continuously, reminding us of the elemental, eternal fire within and amongst us here...and everywhere.
(Edit: perhaps this is not such a good idea upon reflection, as the flame can take on such a pejorative tone :o)
Witnessed a vortex of snow in a distant field, swirling impressively. Birds clustered around the house and on centenarian apple trees, feeding hungrily and happily
on black-oiled sunflower seed...a perfect aerial opportunity for a red-tail hawk to masterfully, powerfully catch a black-capped
chickadee in mid-flight...cattle are sheltering and well fed. Feline at my feet asleep (for the moment). The rhythm beats,
the heart of the Earth is active, calling to us.
Here and now...what do we hear when we listen to the 'sounds' and rumblings of a planet ascending and evolving, a sphere under a methodical
and assiduously planned assault by a minority of it's inhabitants and their overlords?
(it's surface dwellers in a state of perpetual warfare/scarcity and subterranean dwellers/forces/alphabet agencies doing who knows what,
not to mention the enormous activity from...the skies, our star system)
'Unusual sounds' were reported just south of where I live yesterday. Un/usual.
Here and now, it is quiet and warm, am blanketed by a strange and growing
faith in us, in our struggling species. I send into the village a balanced and sincere warmth,
with gratitude and respect for your journeys and service to each other. You treat each other well.
(So good to see. And feel.) As sovereign beings do.
The evolution of fire. Hot peppers and black turtle beans on a tortilla.
Thankfulness...a field of energy.
Peace to all

Thanks Mod, I love that kinda stuff.
And..Larry Niven's Ringworld. A world with the surface area.. of 3.7 million earths.
Snip...
In the book, there is an earth a 'replication' that was set up. Here it is, to scale.
sR2296df-bc
I love this kind of stuff, too.
Was fascinated reading somewhere (can't remember where) about a guy on a planet which had two suns.
Had me thinking about the four times of day, when both suns would be below the horizon, when both would be above, then only one, then the other.
Made me realize that our concept of duality might well be linked to the fact that we only have one sun.
It is also "burned into our existance, right from birth".
Well said.

And so it is, while I am here on the Cape when the time allows for that 'attending' that I am personally drawn to. As I have shared here before this place was very special to the Native Americans...it was a bountiful spiritual provider of nourishment/nurturing/connection surrounded by ocean and sky. I was drawn to Woods Hole today to look around and connect. Found a small book in the library that tells of old configurations and markings around the area left by the Indians...some of them only visible at low tide now. There is an old waterside park in the center of town that still has the small boulders intact that the Indians placed there to mark the equinoxes and solstices. It was an overcast snowy/rainy day but I had a glowing light with me while placing offerings and thanks at each stone...this always sends chills of gratefullness thru me.
All of You are doing these things in your own ways...and in doing so I feel we naturally expand that energy that will touch those around us and they just 'may want to get them some' by simply seeing and feeling what we do, directly, indirectly, how-ever!

I can tell it's Saturday night at the Village. Everyone is being exceedingly jolly,
and I won't even ask for a minute of silence in memory of Whitney Houston.
Although I wonder how many parties she ruined with her untimely death.
Thing is, if it weren't for her then Rihanna would probably not even exist...
and Rihanna put Barbados on the map more than Sir Gary Sobers (cricketer) ever did.
Every shop I'm going to enter will be playing Whitney's songs for the next month at least...
which should pose a welcome break from Rihanna, but, quite frankly, I don't know which is worse.
Time for earplugs.

This little boy might have also seen that image of sweet Jesus that Modwiz' eye spied....

"Whitney Houston: Beware of Dark, Occult Celebrities
By Truthquake.com Staff
Whitney Houston and her management team recently released an electronic press kit interview to the internet to accompany the European segment of her Nothing But Love tour, and she had the opportunity to address some topics she wanted to speak about within a controlled interview environment.
When Whitney was asked what the success of her new album meant to her she stated: It means they want to hear someone sing [laugh].

"Just a few months ago, Whitney Houston was in Detroit working on her cinematic comeback.
Now, the project that brought her to the Motor City will be among her epitaphs.
The 48-year-old music icon, who was found dead Saturday in California, was in Michigan as a star and executive producer of Sparkle, a remake of the 1976 movie about a singing sister act confronting the triumphs and perils of show business.
It was her first feature film role in more than 15 years. The movie is set to reach theaters in August about 20 years after she conquered the big screen with the 1992 hit The Bodyguard.

Thank you for providing this thread with this heartfelt homage of a special performer. The interview showed a person who still had so much to give and was going to bring some class back to singing. She was so correct by acknowledging the talent of many singers today, but caught up in the dark and tawdry antics so unnecessary when you can sing well. She was kind to not mention names and that was classy in itself. I myself feel it is a shame that gifted singers, especially the women, feel they have to 'tart' up their acts because the less gifted among them need to do so to sell their performance.

The Trampled Rose
Long way going to
Get my medicine
Sky's the autumn grey of a lonely wren
Piano from a window played
Gone tomorrow, gone yesterday
I found it in the street
At first I did not see
Lying at my feet A trampled rose
Passing the hat in church
It never stops going around
You never pay just once
To get the job done
What I done to me,
I done to you
What happened to the trampled rose?
In the muddy street
With the fireworks and leaves
A blind man with a cup I asked
Would he sing 'Kisses Sweeter Than Wine'
I know that rose,
Like I know my name
The one I gave my love,
It was the same
Now I find it in the street,
A trampled rose

REFLECTIONS (http://www.presidiacreative.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/03/fantasy_art_scenery_wallpaper_sven_sauer_071.jpg)
I am driving the Dreambus
Whilst it wends its way through valleys and over peaks, I hear:-
strangers sharing
parents nurturing
children giggling at ghoulish gags
the soft sobs of pain and the tender whispers of compassion
sages musing
teachers guiding
students heeding
medicine people howling mysterious songs whilst guitars gently weep
and drums match my own heart beat
all are welcome, and required
I am a your soul crew

Thanks for the music video. Loved it.
When you say 11 degrees on the mountain, did you mean Celsius or Fahrenheit.
My guess is Celsius because your flag says you are in Colombia. Here in the mountains of Costa Rica it is similar and animals are seeking shelter indoors, including mice. My cats are feeling the stress from overwork.

Last nite I was out doing some chores, walking in the freezing cold, when I ran across this guy, a Newfoundlander about my age. We chatted a bit as we walked along. Then he asked me if I wanted to smoke a joint. I said sure. We wandered to a building where it seemed to me he knew everyone. But it turns out he lives with his mom and he can't go home to do his drugs. He breaks into apartment buildings and smokes in the stairwells - crack. He offered me some. I declined. Then he started talking about his worst encounter of life where he was knifed - twice, which ruined his hockey career. I listened, I ministered.
When we parted I thanked the universe and asked for the meaning of the meeting.
I was told this is how the work moves forward collectively. Groups of souls work together by being sort of like blockers in a football game. They absorb or deflect negative situations from others in the group so their travails are lessened. Each one in the group deflects and each one gets the benefits of deflection. I was made aware of how intricate the workings of these groups are, how convoluted and full of synchronicities. It was one of those moments. Gotta love life. I do.
I hope I put enough emphasis on that. Hope everyone gets it. And these soul groups group into ever larger groups. It is a collective venture.
Anyways, internet came back on, Bell likes to play this game with tardy costumers. The cable TV signal goes out every hour or so, so I guess I got it better than my girl, since I don't watch television.

Charmody:
I agree, that was one heck of a post. And I hear you, not just about this part. I haven't played much of the alter-ego thing - pretending to be someone else or such. I can, but I am here to help so I always revert back to my usual personality. I've even hitched a ride on the coatails of more advanced beings at times and enjoyed the "quickening" I experienced. But my spirit always seems to know when to get out and walk, alone, and listen to my own guiding voice. My wagon does not stay too long in a train before I veer off on my own.

Sorry to report that, alas, another of the fasts have fallen by the wayside.
13647
Made it through Friday night dining out with the family but Saturday proved too much.
Should be noted for anyone considering the "master cleanser" fast that if you do, indeed, make it two weeks that coming off is very important or else you can mess yourself up. The booklet suggests two days of freshly strained orange juice *only* and then food is fine. The two times I made it two weeks I did that the first day then ate nothing but oranges the 2nd day and was fine.
Oh well ... my intentions were good even if my will wasn't up to the task.
Meanwhile ... here is an advanced Valentines wish of sorts for the Village.

Personally i feel the "hard work" of fasting happens long before the actual fast
like the mental preparation, and the timing of it, etc.
It was weird as i never though i could possibly go without food for any length of time.
I was such a "foodie", cooking, eating, growing food has always been such a big part of my
life. But when i realized it was also an attachment that was slowing down my spiritual growth,
the energy required to make this happen, just sort of grew and grew.
Also that fact that i live alone and could remove any temptations from my environment
made it easier than i image it would be for most. If i was living with others, that first week
would have been very very tough I'm sure.
I can see why those high lamas do all that time alone in caves, distractions from the outside world
can really throw you off course.

Also that fact that i live alone and could remove any temptations from my environment
made it easier than i image it would be for most. If i was living with others, that first week
would have been very very tough I'm sure.
I can see why those high lamas do all that time alone in caves, distractions from the outside world
can really throw you off course.
Yes yes ... harder with family it is :ohwell::hungry:

i will share this here ...
When one can empathetically identify with both the pain and the joy of others...
It then becomes apparent that in the inner world we are not really separated from each other...
So it should be a given then that peace and joy no less than pain and sorrow are shared and collective experiences.
My being conscious of you is intertwined with your being conscious of me.... And that is... all that is real to me ... my Friends. :)

Here and Now...didn't sleep well. Woke constantly. Laptop died over the weekend, don't know if it will be revived or buried. Got this computer put together finally. Hubby and grandson were here all weekend, very chaotic, sometimes wonderful sometimes too much. First day of school for Em was the best day of her life lol. Probably not, but after the panic attacks for her it was quite a relief. New friends already, teachers are laid back and the pressure of the old area is gone for now, I hope gone permanently. Now for the high schooler... Going thru a pregnancy scare. Ugh. Also will have a battle over the lip ring, I'm sure. Double ugh. But, she will be in school one way or the other, so I will have a break. Yay!
It's dark outside, rainy. Will be hard to get going when I'd rather go back to sleep.

Learning how to Fly
"Jonathan Livingston Seagull"...a manual for flight...http://img1.liveinternet.ru/images/attach/b/2/3599/3599086_richard_bach__jonathan_livingston_seagull.pdf
"For most seagulls, life consists simply of eating and surviving. Flying is just
a means of finding food. However, Jonathan Livingston Seagull is no
ordinary bird. For him, flying is life itself. Against the conventions of
seagull society, he seeks to find a higher purpose and become the
best at doing what he loves.
This is a fable about the importance of making the most of our
lives, even if our goals run contrary to the norms of our flock,
tribe or neighbourhood. Through the metaphor of flight,
Jonathans story shows us that, if we follow our
dreams, we too can soar."

I love fries, although I do my best to source them from real potatoes and only organic at home where I slice my taters thin and stir them in a mixture of olive oil and garlic and then broil them up. I keeps the skins on too.

That's the difference between real and fake food. Real food still tastes good, and like food, a room temperature. All of the fake fries turn back into the drek they were formed out of. It does help to keep consumption down.

Back from a week in Paradise, a small town of 27,500 people above Chico, CA in the Sierra foothills. We bought a house. Oh Lord. The process was like water falling down hill. It could not have been more obvious, we are meant to move into this house. 1.26 acres perched on the edge of a twisty, woodsy, one lane road, behind the house, down below, BLM national forest, and the Little Butte Creek Canyon. Three stories with three decks overlooking the view, and a separate apt down below with a big huge den room. Owned by an antiques dealer, so stained glass, antique doors etc. We're talking my lifetime fantasy, a cabin on the border of a national forest.
It was so funny, the small town behavior in action lol. Cousin Shannon calls the husband to suss out the action, says we are offering 1,500 over the asking price (He is THRILLED to hear this!), and we would make the most wonderful neighbors (They moved two doors down the street to a house without stairs). Then in Shannon and Brian's glass art studio, someone (gay and with the most expressive face, hears us talking and THEY call the owner and say we're making a personal offer, and that we look like really nice people (no, we were working with a realtor that helped Dave's sister buy a house in Paradise. Two sisters and a cousin yes.). Shannon then calls the wife, informs her that relatives are making an offer over asking price, and that we would make WONDERFUL neighbors. We get back to Debi and Mike's house (David's other sister) and a Realtor we haven't met, calls the owners furious that someone made a personal offer. Everyone calls back saying no, that was the gossiper in the art studio, making wrong assumptions. ALL the relatives enk-acq back and forth all evening long ... oh Lord, what a riot.
Fortunately, due to the small town grapevine, we heard that some people offered before us, and were outright rejected for bidding below sale price, no negotiation or counter offers. After hearing about her annoyance, David says I will not low ball, because I would feel SO bad if we lost this house over a few thousand dollars. (In this market, low balling is the default behavior believe me.). We come to find out later, at the same time we offered 1,500 over asking price, two people offered 5,000 below asking price. Several others offered 15,000-20,000 below. This is a house that was on the market for one week after being pulled off for six months, due to bad realtors in Chico, not doing the work. The price also dropped by almost 50% during the original sale process, and that is why the first week back on the market they got so many offers, despite the depressed market. This was the first house offered by the realtor, and also the same house Shannon told us to check out...
We were given the jewel. :)
Did a Life between Lives regression while I was up there. One of the most important things to me was that McKnao was there and consented to come back to be with us again. The hypnotist asked me, "How will you recognize McKnao?" My hand flew up in the air, as if it was a paw being held up. Then I come back to Village to catch up and what do I see? At least FOUR pictures of animals with a paw in the air!
The hypnotist said the session went incredibly well. It was short, two hours, and the first hour was spent dropping me down further and further into my subconscious. I saw two past lives before going into the between. Both male, eeeeeeeeeeks! The WEIRDEST thing to me about THAT, is that (I don't know how true this is in general but it sure was true for me), my male lives do not feel the way this life feels. I feel things much more intensely as a female. The very first question he asked me, I think, once I was down under, was are you and your body a good match in this lifetime? I said, yes, but she is so powerful, her feelings are so intense, it is difficult for me to handle her, that I was still learning how to be a kind and loving person while dealing with emotional storms. The cerebral palsy, deafness, and violent father ... Then I felt the two male lives and I was like ... whoa. How different.
My first past life was Japan, 470 AD. Male, mid forties, muscular, bare feet in wooden flip flops, indigo short pants, blue and white wrap around shirt. Walking through front gate of home. Garden. Small reflection pool. Deck. Sliding doors. Fairly small. Turns out I built it. I am a woodworker. Lonely, resigned. Wife and child died in earthquake. His emotional life was so calm compared to mine.
Second past life, 1765, I am a book publisher. My name was Leeyo. I know, odd spelling. Tall, handsome, wearing long leather tunic over thick linen blouse and breeches, knee socks and shoes with heels. Bending over printing press, examining first print of a large sheet of paper, at least two feet wide, and three feet long. I am very competent and good at my job. It felt like I actually owned the business. Later he asks me, what was the point of looking at that lifetime? I don't know I reply, and I start to cry. It was because it was so happy, I felt so competent, which I certainly do not feel in this lifetime. But I could see very clearly, it was all right. Sometimes in new lives, we get lessons we can't get under our belt in one lifetime. And this body, whew. He takes me forward to my death in this life as a book publisher. It was in bed surrounded by my family. I looked forward to my next adventure, no worries. I knew my family was well taken care of too, that they'd be fine. So at peace.
I will talk more about the actual between life part later. I'm too fried and burnt to talk much more right now.
Buying a house is intense. My first time. :)
The best part about the whole adventure? David's FAMILY!!! Oh! They made us feel so wanted and loved and just freaking out we're moving up to them! Every night was a party! David and I left one night, and stayed at a casino hotel to catch a quiet break. :)
I can't stop smiling. So ... offer accepted, we're getting status reports now on the property, and if the sale goes through, we'll be moving in six weeks. Mortgage is the same as our current rent. :) Eeeeks. Little worried that the roof is 15-18 years old. Wondering if a section 1 will trigger and the homeowners will have to replace the roof or help us replace the roof. We will have to replace one bathtub, too small. Wall paper peeling in one bedroom. The rest of the house looks in very good shape.
There is a switch back trail lined with bricks that goes down to the national forest. Can hardly wait to explore. Oh yes. LBL session, says Shamanism is a good path for me. Hehe ...
Hoping all goes well. Please intend with us, that we will move into the house easily and quietly. :)
Ah. It looks like a vehicle belonging to the Paradise fire dept. at the house across the street. It is usually Fire Chiefs that have the public tax paid vehicles, right? This is a good neighbor to have in forested land. :)
I will show pictures once I get them uploaded. Already disappearing from the online realty sites. :) This is really happening.
I told Dave, it will happen. We have done deep shadow work for three months, and I do believe, this is a reward for work already accomplished or work accomplished in order to be ready for a house surrounded by family as neighbors. Curious. I did not know before this week, that David is like me, in that he needs lots of down time too, space from people. Guess we're just a pair of hermits, snrt. But he is manic right now, so my ears are falling off. Can't take this much talking. Upsets him. Sorry. Sorry. Just the way it is.
Ooh, Dave's sister Debi is in my soul group. I think that is so funny, I married into my soul group!
I flashed on a plate design that I plan to do once I join one of Brian and Shannon's glass classes. Round, maybe cobalt blue glass plate, white moon, black branches going across. Simple. Then David wants to do a rectangular plate, blue with black outline of the Fellowship of the Ring on the road. I think a moon plate over a matching LOTR plate would be gorgeous!
Love, Sierra fried, babbly, happy, and rather wildly off balance, sitting down thump on the village quay so glad to be resting in my spirit home again.

And bye the bye, it is a very small world...I lived in Paradise for a couple years, more or less and then another year more or less.
My Kids, Tara and Danny were born there. I was building commercially primarily in nearby Oroville and then other residential projects around Paradise and Chico too!
My energy is still floatin' around there : ) I rented from the chief of the fire department at the time...he was my building business partners father-in-law....this was in the early 80's. Brought back memories of Feather River and the hills and trails in them thar mountains...I love it there!

Oh, Sierra, soooooooo excited for you! I hope it all goes off smoothly :)
Had a hell of a day here, I've got NO idea what this is at all. Felt discombobulated all day. Felt like I've been plugged in to an outlet on high alllll dayyy. Had a terrible time keeping any train of thought. Was so tired, but so full of jitters. I drank coffee at 2, knowing full well it might be the death of me, but knowing at the same time that Em would be home from school with work to do. If I don't help her get started on it right away, it never gets started. Since we started fresh, I really, really wanted to get her off on the right foot as well. The coffee did not make me more jittery, I was kinda shocked actually. But I did wake up enough to finish snack and homework, cook-eat-and clean-up dinner, and got the neighbors their carrot treats. All is extremely peaceful and serene in my home now. I just don't get it. How could something the combination of coffee and doing dinner help with serenity? That is not logical. I also feel like I have no connections inside or outside of 3D. This I do not understand either.
Much Love from Limbo,
p.s. please, each of you consider yourself thanked...for the past week of my moving...enjoyed every moment stolen to the village :)

It makes perfect sense, 1inMany. Chopping wood and carrying water (cooking dinner, doing the dishes, doling out carrot treats ...), are activities that take you out of the left brain (chop logic, ego, defensiveness, words) and put you in right brain (feeling, intuitive, creative) mode. Hence, you feel more balanced, relieved of the mental noise, and you can sense the rhythm and flow of the world, and step into it, and join the dance.
Don't know about the coffee though. :)

Gratitude, gratitude, gratitude ...
Sierra, I'm so thrilled for you! I can't wait to see pictures :) Congratulations

John Pugh's new murals
Artist John Pugh does it again and again!
3D murals painted on the sides of buildings by Trompe L'oeil (trick-of-the-eye) artist John Pugh:
13744
Main Street , Los Gatos , California . Even the woman peering into the ruin is part of the mural.
13745
Honolulu , Hawaii . This mural took two months of studio work to plan and another six months to execute with the help of 11 other artists. Featured are Queen Liliuokalani, the last monarch of the Hawaiian Islands , and Duke Kahanamoku, the ultimate father of surfing. Even the stairs and of course, the sightseers, are part of the mural. Hard to believe this isn't 3-D. Check out the wave at the top. The fake skylight. Wow!
13746
Looks like a nice spot to rest your weary feet on a sidewalk in front of the Sarasota County Health Center, Florida.
13747
Bay in a Bottle, Santa Cruz , California .. The passerby is part of the mural.

CME's from the sun again. Read closely :" Enlil model of the solar wind." ?
http://solarham.com/cmewatch2.htm
Kept me up to 5:40am or so. Then I lied in bed and had my mind refuse to stop, exhaustion would not come.. Then, after that fitful 'rest'..got up and drove 250 miles to a 3M population city in rush hour traffic..went to the downtown core, then to the outskirts..then drove back. 11 hour driving run. So, totally exhausted, only 5.5 hours of sleep in 60.
I hope to get some sleep soon.....
I'm still not shut off. Those dang CME's..I'm guessing that if they hit the right angle in connection to my Astro chart, they get me a' goin'. For sometimes- nothing happens at all.

In the spirit of giving love this Valentine's Day, there is a "click to give" site called Greater Good Network...http://www.greatergood.com/

I don't care about "St. Valentine's", but what a wonderful idea, Belle!
The Animal Rescue Site has been my homepage since 2002, and naturally I also click the other associated pages. (And later in the day I proceed to Care2's click-to-donate. :-))
I have also bought many, many lovely gifts and items for myself from their online store.
I am sure many others start their day with it - but until now I've never met anyone. :)

I wonder, could this thread be renamed "The Village" and another thread (also a sticky) be opened called "Here and Now"?
Both concepts deserve a thread of their own, in my opinion.
(Yes, I am an incorrigible editor by heart. :-))
Right now...
On my left I can see the golden sheets of late winter afternoon sunshine on buildings, their roofs covered with snow.
The deep freeze is finally giving way.
I have just listened to the Prelude of Wagner's Tristan und Isolde. Now I am getting ready to listen to the rest of it.
It just feels right, right now.
And I am getting ready to write.
I just have to make myself another tall glass of tomato with cayenne pepper and lemon, and I'll be set.
I have the feeling it is going to be an interesting evening.
I only hope it will also be happy.

Dreaming in the here and now. Hands in warm, crumbling black loam.
In a garden, 'wet with rain'.

I had a buddy, very bitter at the time, who would always get really drunk on Valentine's and berate so-called lovers, or anyone that crossed his path for that matter. He called St. Valentine's, Singles Awareness Day. A buddy of mine and I wrote a song about it. I was going to post it, but the original recording malfunctioned somehow, and a third of the song is cut off. I'll get around to it one day, and re-record it, and post it, but then Singles Awareness Day will have come and gone. Here are the lyrics anyhow. Please remember, this is satire, but true to the event as I witnessed it:
-Singles Awareness Day
There are so many stupid holidays in the calendar year
The consumer marketing and corporate shark-ering can sure bring a tear
Halloween and Thanksgiving, buy a turkey leg
Then comes Christmas and the New Year's dregs
Pretty soon New Year's is left behind
But the one I really hate is St. Valentine's
Chorus:
Singles Awareness Day running through your head
Don't have to slit your wrists to see red
Cause there's Hallmark......Hallmark
Ten A.M. and Timmy's drinking, shouting at the passerbys
Reminding him of all his heartbreak, trying not to cry
Go to Hell all you lovers, you gentle kind
What the hell are you thinking, your love is a lie, your love is a lie
Chorus:
So go out and buy your roses, and your chocolates too
Try so hard to get laid before the night is through
But of all the women that you'll ever have
And all the ones that can't be true to you
Just know that your only Valentine is your Momma....
Chorus & End:
Ol' Timmy is married now to a beautiful women and his teenage angst is behind him. That one was for you Tim, many blessings and thanks for the inspiration.
Have a good day, y'all

Just got this message in my email and wanted to share it with the Village.
I was going to get you a box of chocolates for Valentines Day..........
Rumor has it you, uh............you like the stuff!
Just like life, there's light and dark; there's sweet, bitter sweet and just a little sweet, and there are soooooooo many kinds, filled with god knows what........ What is a man to do?
Dazed and confused as I stumbled from the candy section, drunk with the smell of sweetness, I found myself in a section of Close Out Items reduced in price for lack of interest. I reached out my hand to steady myself and clear the dizziness which engulfed me like a thick fog when my hand landed on the perfect gift.................
It looked like a Sampler box of candies but on the lid it said Divine Sampler. The gift was packaged in the most beautiful way in a gold and silver container inlaid with priceless jewels. Immediately I read the label to find to my delight that it was 100% organic, non-toxic.............but, it had been tested on animals. DARN IT !! I nearly put it back on the shelf when a persistent tiny voice told me Get it anyway! Get it anyway!
I stood wrestling with myself as I continued to read the ingredients, if only to satisfy that pesky little voice. The more I read the more I knew this was the perfect gift for you, and although it is continuously tested on animals I was assured that no animal was ever harmed in any way. Further research found that the manufacture packaged the exact same product for two different markets
...... man & beast.
I turned the gift around in search of the price tag, but found none. From behind me, like an angel came a voice, You look confused, can I help you with something? I inquired about the price and much to my surprise I was told.......
Oh that. That is a special gift and it is absolutely free for that is your Divine Inheritance and NO ONE can charge you or tax you for your Divine Inheritance! That is a gift from Creator!
It includes a Sample of Forgiveness, Compassion, Empathy, Sympathy, Tolerance , Acceptance and an unlimited supply of Unconditional Love and Gratitude.
Each piece is designed to
..... Prime the Well, so to speak............ to open the valves and remove the blocked energy to allow the return of the natural flow of abundance of Forgiveness, Compassion, Empathy, Sympathy, Tolerance, Acceptance and the unlimited supply of Unconditional Love and Gratitude which is our birthright.
I inquired as to why there were so many left in the Close Out Bin if it was free and our birthright. How come we didn't receive this gift as we came into this world?
I was told that we did, in deed, receive this wonderful gift as we came into this world, but, the people have become lost in a sea of illusion and have totally forgotten that Abundance & Prosperity is our birthright. The people have been convinced that Abundance & Prosperity are a privilege and that we must pay for it...... that our Divine Inheritance can be taxed, licensed or withheld. Our Divine Inheritance has gone neglected and unused.
With a sad face and a heavy heart this little angel told me that the people of the world have rejected their Abundance & Prosperity, their Divine Inheritance. That we have chosen Doubt and Fear over our Divine Inheritance and now here it sits in the Close Out Bin. I was told that the company had a whole warehouse full of gently used packages of Divine Inheritance. The company was seeking a way to clear their shelves of the rejected gifts and return them to the people where they belong.
I was assured that there is no 'Sell By' dates and that although Divine Inheritance was organic, non toxic, and contained absolutely no preservatives, that it would never spoil or sour........ and that as long as we actually used the gift it would never run out. It was an unlimited supply of every thing we need to bring Peace and Harmony, Abundance & Prosperity into our lives. We simply need to acknowledge and accept our Divine Inheritance and use it often........... use it generously....... an unlimited supply!
This little angel seemed desperate to find a way to return the gifts to the people where they belong as she looked at me with those big, wet puppy dog eyes I simply melted........ I decided right there and then that I would make it my mission to return these rejected packages of Divine Inheritance to their rightful owners and to assist the people to awaken.......... to remember !!!!!
Abundance & Prosperity
Is Not A Privilege...........It Is Our Birthright!
I immediately thought of you, so here is your gift from me this Valentines Day........ here is your Divine Inheritance
.........gently used, but, complete with every thing you need to open the door to allow Peace and Harmony, Abundance & Prosperity to manifest in your life. Use it often and use it generously. Give it freely to yourself and others as you cannot overdose
........ Remember, organic
.... non toxic.......
Remember.....
Happy Valentines Day!!

"...every year at the same time, a community would form from among the people, who now considered themselves
homeless and refugees.
This community of ex-villagers came together to ritually and poetically feed the Heart of the Earth that fed them
and take care of what the "village" always seemed to forget. The community that came out of this understanding
would gradually congeal into a hierarchal village once again, a village that would have to be ritually and intentionally
dismantled the following year and remade again through community.
Villages then are not by nature communities; villages come from humans wanting what they want. Communities
come from losing villages.
...community has to do with loss and a willingness to fail. It is fueled by grief, which forces our insistent desires to
mature into a love for the small and forgotten. Community is a thing of Nature, not people, unless people are part
of that Nature. Community is where individuals come flooding together to spiritually feed that big thing that feeds
the village. It is about gratitude and ecstasy. Community is the ecstatic voice that lingers after the villages we insist
upon are torn apart."

Dreaming in the here and now. Hands in warm, crumbling black loam.
In a garden, 'wet with rain'.
Alekahn, that dream inspires me to dream too. The rich, moist earth, waiting for us to plant seeds and tender sprouts.
My brother is planting our big garden plot this year. I won't plant it again without a fence to keep the deer out. White tail deer are over populated here on the mountain. He already has little cabbages and such planted; he covered them the past couple of nights because of very cold temps and wind.
Going to a movie tonight with my work friend T.
My young friend with fibromyalgia symptoms is eager to begin learning about a new way of being ... we start tomorrow at lunch time.
Belle, loved your message from the Abundance and Prosperity Angel ... I think she must be hanging out over at the cash barn too, beckoning us to come in and help ourselves.
Love to you beautimous village people.

Nora, what unusual markings. Do you have any clue to their meanings or who may have left them? (You don't have to answer...I just needed to ask.) Peace and much love woven together as a cloth to wrap yourself within.

Question:
Does anyone else see a profile facing right in the stonework of my cottage?
Others have commented on occasion, so I do not think it is just me.

Does anyone else see a profile facing left in this crystal?
Or, am I experiencing an odd fixation?

Oh, wow, the very instant that I scrolled down and saw these pictures, an ad for the movie The Borrowers came on the tv. I kid you not.
