Finding little to pique my interest on Av today.... so here and now, listening to Mooji... beautiful, accessible.. just right :)

Slapping Markoid's wrist.
What am I supposed to do with that empty post??
Without the link I can't see a thing.
My Christmas present from Markoid malfunctioned, bwahahah!
I guess everyone else got theirs? So now I do have to get up and start my laptop, driven by curiosity.

Ulli, wondering, what sort of sickness for Dan? Flu, cold, other? I can recommend a tea once I know ... please PM me with details if you need to.

The cake in your dream, wouldn't it have been amazing if you HAD seen 'junebug' on it? Or some other detail/person from this thread. Then we'd know the village is permeating everything in the Universe. Or something.

Mark, Mooji is wonderful ... thank you! When will you put up another of your music vids?

ps: methinks Cal is going to need training up, just like Heyoka did. Ulli, we have our work cut out for us.

A brief look at the rest of the forum shows me there is a divisive process at work. Are we here being corraled?
Ok...that's ma fear- mongering for the day. Give ya'll something to chew on.

One more thought this morning....of Dan_33. He was very sick.
Can we give him some special village herb tea, to put him back on his feet?
He will be running the village cinema, so we cannot afford to lose him.

Hmmm... I thought the forum tasted a bit strange today.

Golden spheres of energy to Dan 33!

They have that handy language translation software now (and here). Very sweet.

I am still waiting for the "ulli to English" version but they are *really* getting bogged down working on the "Carmody to English" version. Man ... talk about blowing the budget with delays!!!

But, but..........ulli; a one-way ticket?

I know that you offer this to me, knowing full well that I could never go, as it would mean saying goodbye, and that is something that I could never do!

I shall have to stay on at the village :)

Breathe easy PL, for it was not your actions, nor mine, or anybody else's that raised the ire of the........uh hum,.....queen. It would appear that we have the spheres to thank for the current outbreak of hostile behaviour, and that a darkness has descended upon the village and it gentle male folk.

Pluto void in Capricorn
There is movement toward displaying outright power. Tolerance and patience are pushed aside in favor of drastic actions. Old wounds are reopened and confrontations forced. Power plays occur. Secret forces make their presence known. Some seek to act on their urges, others attempt to stop them. Deep secrets are revealed. A collective cleansing is in order.

Can I suggest that we simply maintain a safe distance from the queen during this phase of vitriolic outbursts.

Perhaps you might like to meet up at the mens refuge for a glass of full cream milk. I managed to sneak a small quantity past ullli's armed guards. :)

However I am blessed to have a pretty peaceful home and the most action my cast iron has seen is cornbread and rue.

Welcome crnel! (colonel? kernel? c.r. nel?)

Matters not what name you wear, you may even wear your fave pj's to the camp fire! :)

A lot happened yesterday.
I am saddened to see Marguerite leave. I understand why and respect her choice. But Anno? Why's he gone?
Must be planetary alignments.....

My pick of the day was Cal's treadmill cat-astrophe. Will bookmark for instant upliftment.

I totally thought it was me referring to "the girls" and not the ongoing rivalry between tony and marianne that raised the ire of the queen.

don't worry my brothers, an atomizer is a homeopathic device used to diffuse essential oils into the air, not a weapon. It just *seemed* like it worked because I used my ninja skills to disappear. So I wasn't atomized, just perfumed. Then I just hid behind the couch until she left the room.

PurpleLama's punishment ...
here is a suggestion: (of course the rest of the village have to be in agreement.
After all, we are a democratic village.)

Just like the cow in the picture below, PurpleLama will be blown out of all proportion
and placed upside down in the center of the village for everyone to bring their pins.
The deflation process shall be a fun affair for all villagers.
Once PurpleLama is back to his normal size he can join in the fun.
That sounds like something that would happen at Willy Wonker's chocolate factory. What a clever punishment.

I'm so glad you see that connection, my dear Lotus Blossom.
By the time we girls are done building this Village it will be like living in a Chocolate country.
We just have to learn how to put the men to work.

Those Ozzies should know- after all, they have a band by that name.
Men at Work.

Ingredients

1 watermelon (size dependent on portions needed)
1 sweet or red onion
1/4 cup red wine vinegar
Salt and pepper
1/2 cup extra-virgin olive oil
2 tablespoons chopped fresh mint
4 ounces feta cheese, crumbled
6 whole mint sprigs
3 or 4 small, fresh chilies

Directions

Cut the flesh from the melon and cut into bite size pieces, removing and discarding the seeds, and set aside. Peel and slice the onion into rings.

In a small bowl, combine the vinegar, salt, pepper, and whisk until salt is dissolved. Slowly whisk in the olive oil, a few drops at a time. Add in the chopped mint, taste, and adjust seasonings.

In a large bowl, combine the melon, onion, and feta. Pour the dressing over the melon mixture and toss gently until everything is coated and evenly mixed. Garnish with mint sprigs.

et voila!!

VVVVVV Yummy!

I hear ya!
The way to live life is like this: while shoe shopping was an issue with me
I lived in Notting Hill Gate, London,
and Manolo Blahnik lived upstairs.
He gave me shoes, which my puppy later destroyed. Sigh!

If you don't know who he is, google "Monolo Blahnik shoes Sarah Jessica Parker".
Nowadays I get my shoes in any ol' surf shop. I wear mostly sandals.
I'm tall anyway, so in Costa Rica I don't want to rub that one in...

But the look keeps going, as I made those clothes to last, and people are still wearing them.

I'm sure the moment you leave that spot in the woods those leaves will drop overnight.
It's your energy that's been keeping your trees young.
By the time I leave my apartment in Barbados the Bougainvilla in the big pot by my front door is bright pink.
Maybe it's the Costa Rican coffee grits I put on the soil.

And this is what the Independent Newspaper has to say about these shoes:

Undeniably potent, they convey an electric charge to both wearer and observer. Julia Reed says she wears them for "the same reason that some men carry loaded guns."

My cloaks, coats and tunics are designed by a woman who makes Renaissance wear. Many of the styles are not for me but a few pieces are perfect. I was lucky enough to get her to custom make me two wool tunic one of them very heavy Melton wool. She has not made any tunics in years owing to dye and fabric shrinkage problems. I wish in inspire her to custom make them again with people supplying her with their own fabrics. I hope she will do so, or at least do it for me. Her seamstresses are first rate. I they are not they will not be working for her. My tunics are now 20 years old. Hand washing a drip drying is the secret to maintaining them. Traditional washing for traditional garb.

Have a look:http://www.moresca.com/

The tricks with washing ANY wools is to only use COLD water.

A news summary... or, a verbalisation of the situation from the location of a downunder nation

So, now an escalation of the confrontation, avatar transformation and changes of polar orientation
food preparation with explanations and decimation by atomisation. At the termination of this notation
a wizard has come with new information, an indication of a change in vibration as fashion becomes the new fascination

Salutations without deviation to the population!

Waking up from a refreshing afternoon nap. The sun has just set and the tree frogs are chorusing.
Apart from that all is quiet. The ocean must be calm, too, as I can't hear any surf breaking.
Once in a while I hear a car passing at the end of the gap.
I still have sone breadfruit left over. Maybe with a little garlic, onion and ginger. A teaspoon of Barbados pepper sauce.
There is a Heineken, too. Haven't had an alcoholic drink in a week.
So happy I am living in a village, with highly enlightened, gifted and funny neighbors.
And none afraid to do some hard work, or to get their hands dirty.
This village will change everything.

Calz asked earlier on if we will take all the great music with us when the shift hits the fan.

Yeah we do. Not only that, but we remember it all. We are the artist in the throes of creation. We are there in the club where the song was first played, there with our woman, or there with our man. We were working for the recording company when the song was released. We are there in our home listening to the radio when it first played on the air. We were there when it was top forty and when it was played with the golden oldies.

Not just the songs, but every experience is ours that emanates from this planet where we're born, first in flesh, now in spirit. Every you is a me. Every day is today. It's all here. It's all now. It's a painful process, this birth, and it's bright out there, it's a shock. But it's Love that's there to meet us, and healed we will be of the collective grief, of all the trauma we cause and endure. It's not just a future place, it's here and now just the same. It's like this life is a rock, it covers this particular spot, it seems inert but there is life. From another view, every atom inside is a swirling point of energy that is also an experience of life and it all goes together, it all flows one to another. The matrices of energy can be taken together, viewed as a whole, or taken separately, and you see the point in time where the baby was born, or the relationship ended, or the train was taken, or the car crashed, where the grandchild graduated, where one died old and alone or in the war or whatever myriad experiences can exist.

the point is what appears constant isn't really and what seems like life also has a structure of some kind. Time being navigable as space and space being constant as time. Each equally being true and false.

This is my vantage in this here and now, appreciating the expansiveness of it all.

The garden is huge and overrun by monkeys.
Every morning hundreds of egrets settle on the roof,
before they fly back to find cattle in the center of the island.
They pick ticks off of the cows and eat them.

I get wireless in my tent. They beam a signal to an encampment by our lake. I am on the backside of it but got a good antenna and enough USB cable to find a hot spot in the corner of my tent and bingo; Lord of the Rings meets Star Trek.

I sometimes lose my signal every few minutes and then get back on a minute later. It's all good. I'm in a freakin' tent in the woods FFS. Current signal strength is 56% with a 99% link quality.

I have a seriously pimped out tent. I sleep in a queen size bed on a box spring and have rugs with a few Persian throws for opulence. I might post an inside pic or two before I break camp next weekend.

So, whose job is it to play the village idiot? :biggrin1::jester:

Hey!!

That was my village role!

Mind you, that was before I was made to milk the cows, unshackle prisoners at the airport, handling the mud-baths at FlaSpa, opening a pizza parlour, so I am a little confused! :noidea:

Note to self ... to do list ... go back and read the first 56 pages ... else the supreme commander may have me thrown into the brig for insubordination!!!

Oh well ... how bout a compromise since we are throwing around tarot card images ...

I present my new title ... Sir!!!

But then again ... we are both having some quality time on avalon ... and I am getting paid for it.

No need to cook. They serve three meals a day here in our dining hall. Each 'meal' has many options to choose from. I eat like a king. It is all vegetarian which is how I eat 365 anyway so that is especially good for me.

Here is a decent pic of the tent from outside. Some may have seen it before. It is 13'x12'.

I live at a holistic institute. I live, in my tent, about 1/3 of a mile from both the dining hall and the wellness center. Our lake is about 1/2 a mile away. I walk everywhere, everyday for 6 months and have never seen a police officer here.

That is no joke. I am warmer than my wife is at home because my electricity is included in the room and board I pay here. I love it here.

I hadn't counted on the treacheries.

I started this thread full of naiveté and goodwill.
Just give me seven more hours and all will be back to normal.

Welcome to Avalon, and most importantly, welcome to the village, Christine! We have a cozy tea room with tasty cake and assorted beverages (I dare not be more specific, I never know what kind of trouble I'm going into with the most innocent of words and sentiments, what with the treachery afoot). Do stop by and make yourself at home.

There are lots of interesting characters around here, and it seems they've mostly landed here in the village lately.

OK Sierra. No comment about housekeeping though. The glare will no allow it to be seen but the screen shows your post requesting a pic of the inside of my tent. The siver stuff is insulation. It is currently 45 degrees F outside but 77 F inside.

If someone remebers my post some pages ago about the sync with Angelina: Saturday i met a 6 year old girl named Angelina, Peruvian father and African mother. I told her i've been singing a lot with children (many years ago) and there's this song from Cuba about a 10 year old girl called Angelina that had to marry a much older man....

That ufo lamp is freaking incredible. Very seldom do I covet material things but I want that lamp so bad I can taste it. I have never seen such a thing. Wow. I love it.

I wish I knew how to make my buttons work right again. Oh well, I've now memorized the one that matters the most, that makes my post *this* color. It's also reloading the page every time I thank a post, and half the time it does that it gives me the No Permission page. Then I have to exit the site and re-enter for it to work again.

If it's only an embarrassment and not annoyance you should be ok.
I have seen some American basements where the only remedy is a bottle of gasoline and a match stick.
Lot's of Cancer in the charts, however. (Although not wanting to deal with what is behind one can affect all 12 signs.)
The sorting through old stuff and categorizing into trash, give away, sell, keep would take many months,
so burning it all might be the simplest option.
It was what convinced me that in the US there is brainwashing and mind-control at work.
In the poorer countries people are happy because they are not burdened by endless possessions.
Minimalism helps you breathe freely.
A tent is a great idea, as it can only hold so much, so the 12x14 space restriction is a good start to learn to live minimally.

Living in countries where the temptations to consume are limited does help.
Both Barbados and Costa Rica are countries where it is easy to leave the shops empty handed.

I'm in a 2200 sq ft house by myself.

it is full of stuff. Ouch.

I started with just a birthday suit and then it slowly snowballed. I've had times where I've shed it all, pared it down to nothing. And I like that. As one can then do nothing and then...well..meditate. Meditation can bring such amazing things to one's life. Problem is that one can then try to climb through that doorway and never return as this place sucks compared to all that insane difference and fun. (there be bad stuff about, as well, so it's not all caviar and meths)

The earth is considered to be a madhouse (And it can be a funhouse, as well), but it ain't got nuthin' on the dimensional spaces we really come from. People have no idea.

All in all, though, this place can be a good indication, good training wheels - for what comes next.

:ohwell:ulli, you don't have to have a lot of Cancer to end up with a lot of stuff, Venus and Jupiter in the 4:th house ruled by Cancer will do just as well. Anyway this sorting out, giving away, selling, keeping is what i'm going to use my Saturn Moon transit for. Radix Moon conj Neptune in the second both makes it more difficult to let go of possesions or the opposite; in my life resources come and go like ebb and flow.

After dragging around literal tonnage of my 'stuff' wedging it into apartments and you rent it storage areas, and finding room for it on bookshelves, I moved into a 5000 sq foot home.2, 500 feet of it living quarters the rest ...storage. In fact my tonnage which seemed enormous would hardly make a dent in the vast recesses of the 'downstairs.'

However after find a place to stash finally stash all my stuff, I eneded up getting rid of most of it.

Which can make the place look barren.

So people visit me, decide I don't have enough stuff and ..buy me more. So even though I got rid of most of my **** that realy only had one purpose and that was to collect dust, its trickling in again.

Changing country will bring those numbers up. When you first get to a new place things aren't always what they seem.
After a while you find better rents, better landlords, then finally, some cash arrives you buy a place,
maybe a fixer upper, and you get some Nicaraguan construction guys to teach you Spanish while they rip you off.
When you live like that, time flies.
And before you know it you are too old to build your dream home.
Still trying, though. I have Pluto square Moon. My husband has Uranus square Moon.
That should explain it to those who know what those planets represent.

Here, been busy with house guests, and my "upstairs" crew have me onto a new project.
I recently had a big leap in growth , metaphysically speaking.
I'm still trying to process and unpack all the downloads.

Chandelier is coming along nicely though.
I have hit a road block as i have loads of crystals left, the frame is missing components.
It's meant to have more structure both top and bottom,
i have like over 2000 crystals left.
So next is into the shed to make what i need.

Here's the piece so far.....

Ulli , i was out the back feeding my chickens, and i heard you calling me... lol.
logged on and sure enough....

Don't talk about moving house, it's completely traumatic,
i'm still recovering from my move in March.
I wish i could get rid of everything, but all this "stuff" is my income.

Lighting is the only thing that still "does" it for me these days.
But i would like to start sewing again, even just for my own use.
I think i burnt so many of my passions by turning them into day jobs...
sigh.....

It looks absolutely lovely...maybe for a stair case? I have been working with crystals myself recently. If you stop now you can ship me the left over 2000 crystals and I can sit down and make 1000 pairs of earrings with them.
Been preparing a delivery note for a shop today, hand written, and all the labels threaded by myself, standing up...my whole body is aching.
I'm glad my voice reaches your chicken shed. Good training for running the Village.

I could never forget all you wonderful people.
Sometimes i have a hard time balancing things.
And "they" have me working on the monetary system right now
realigning things. Hard to explain, but i do know that i'm waking up
totally exhausted after 12 hours sleep.

Added to that my Mother is still in hospital,
and still bleeding internally. I have her bedside number now
so i can do more intensive healing work on her.
Her body is so tired though, a life time of illnesses.
We have an estranged history as i have already said,
so its intense and tiring, but i'm grateful for all the lessons.

The chandelier was given to my Doctor's wife by an elderly lady.
It was all in pieces, i had nothing to go on.
First time i have used dowsing for 3D work, so far it's
proving very handy.

My Docs wife sent a "so far" pic to the lady, shes now 85, and i got
back the most wonderful email, via her.
And here was me thinking this was just all "stuff".
This fitting had been hanging in their house for a very long time,
when she saw what i had done she cried.

The wiring was so bad i'm surprised she lived til 85,
it had totally shorted out inside the METAL frame.
And of course back then nothing was earthed.
It was quite a job to clean all the old wires out,
and re-wired it.
Some fittings are a total nightmare to re-wire,
those dutch style metal chandeliers with the long metal curvy arms are near impossible.
I have loads and loads of patience, thankfully.
But it's tricky work sometimes.

Its been so hard for me to justify to myself continuing on with this work,
the more i woke up, the more difficult it became.

But these days, i will only restore fittings, or make things from junk.
Next step is to make them self powered, off the grid.
That would certainly keep my interest, covers so many bases all at once.
Great design, functionality, and the new paradigm...

I had started a post in reply to transiten earlier, but was interrupted by a phone call. Then I came back, and finished it. It was mostly about the astrological significance of the moon, the sign of Cancer and the 4th house. Which all mean the same thing...clinging and rootedness. Anyway, when I clicked the send button I discovered that there is a time limit... my post was lost. The page had expired. I had ended it with my struggle for balance.
Then I opened Astrid's message, and her first line was about the struggle to balance things.
So transiten we are joining you now in the collecting of synchronicities.

Astrid, your mum's internal bleeding made me think. Perhaps it is for you, and about her guilt for not having been sensitive enough to know and understand you. Maybe you need to let her know that it's ok, whatever she is thinking and feeling.
Just a thought. Meanwhile I'm sending her healing. And an extra swirl of energy for you. I loved your lamp story.
And I also loved those funny lamps Ruby posted today. That crazy dog, wow wow.
And PL I will ask Santa to bring you the cow abduction lamp for Christmas.

25th October 2011, 03:09
Ulli , she has Lupus, and has been on Warfrin for years..
its what they put in rat poison, ( don't get me started.. )
It keeps her blood thin. But its now causing too many issues, internal bleeding.
They took her off it, but now all her veins are collapsing,
so catch 22.

She sticks to the medical system 110%.
Thinks the Doctors are Gods,
So for me to get anywhere near her to do "healings",
it's a bit of a process.
Lots of chats between me and her higherself.
Sometimes i don't get the go ahead,
sometimes i do.

Illnesses have many functions.
Sometimes people choose to incarnate into a life of illness
to experience more fully "being in the body".

And healing doesn't necessarily prolonging life.
Her spirit is fractured from too much unresolved trauma.
So I'm working on soul and power loss with her.
The ironic thing is with her in hospital i can get closer,
when she is at home, Dad blocks our relationship.
So the ironic thing is her being so sick, means i can
actually have a chance at working with her at the soul level.

But ultimately its all about me, in that i'm being confronted to process things,
for both of us. Lots of ancestral work is needed to be addressed.
A long line of women being submissive, abused by men, common story...
Some skills i have some i need to build on.
So I have decided to formalize my Shamanic studies,
its the only modality i have found that deals with things right at the causal level.
And i keep coming back to it.
SO... i'm going off to train next year under some of Michael Harner's trainers.

I get frustrated being self taught everything, sometimes i feel the need to fill in the gaps.
I have been emailing these trainers for a while, and i connected with them straight away.
Lots of sychronicites, too many to ignore.
It's a big step for me, travelling, etc, but also exiting.
I have 2 days in Feb , introductory, which is fairly local,
then an 8 day retreat in April, which is a plane ride, next state over.
Then 6 days in June at the same place.

So my mission to balance my inside with the outside continues..
And hopefully i can solidify more the path i have been on for a few years now.

Dont talk to me about moving guys, my family were like nomads. I went to 13 different schools as a child between England and Wales. Back and forth we came. My dad just couldnt settle. And the theme has continued in my adult life though luckily only here in Swansea so my kids have stayed in the same schools. I still panic when I look at a suitcase! For me though its just been luck and circumstances. And my astrologer says it aint over yet. How I long for roots.

Good to see you back Astrid. I absolutely love the lamp. And the thread you did on the Barefoot college is still one of the most inspiring vids Ive seen here at Av. Ive shown some of my friends and sister.

Ive spent this weekend with friends who now live in London. They came down for a night in our friends club on Saturday Ive had a great weekend, dancing, laughing and catching up. And of course drinking! Dont do it as often now. Phew Im still recovering.

This is so cool Astrid. :) Happy trails on the path of Shamanism.

I am so glad you are getting some time with your mother, without your dad's interference.

As i start writning this post time is 11.11.

Go to www.handclow2012.com/astroflash.htm for some intriguing reflection of the Scorpio New Moon.

"The Scorpio new Moon's dark intensity reminds us to cleanse our emotions and see what still remains. Under strong scorpio influence everything gets destroyed that can't handle the hard and clear light of truth. Pluto the ruler of scorpio went direct on sept. 16 the day before "Occupy Wall Street began, so Scorpio cleansing is global: pple are connecting to demand equal justice for all."

Read the whole page or just scroll down to "Scorpio new Moon"

The thought just hit me "WALL" Street:peep: The wall is Capricorn and the guy peeping is Pluto=the collective who's been hiding but now is showing up to take action because "It will soon shake you windows and rattle your walls for The times they are a'changin´"

Pluto in Capricorn

PS Time was 11.33 as i pushed the submit button DS

Lmao, have no idea what you guys are all on about but its funny as.

What's this about the sexes? Tsk guys - you should all know better than to challenge the hand that cooks you food...and other domestic things you would have no idea about - right?

Yes, yes...what a men ruled world it would be if you all men went to work with dirty, ripped clothes, unwashed and unshaven and purely running on fast food for survival...

THE END OF OUR SPICES.

Lol oh well, we all got to have a little bit of everyone anyways so we can be happy. 'God' made the male and the female for BALANCE.

....even if balance can be very tricky at times.

I'm at 25 moves. Anyway seems like the gender war is over. If it ever breaks out again, remember Lysistrate? No sex as long as any war is going on. Here in the village this means no women posting anymore.:drama: (There's no male smiley for this one)

Ulli vielen dank! This is my main challenge now. Actually a lot of Virgo might mean clean and tidy, but also a LOT of details, small things crowding on'es space while the virgoan energy concentrates on one small area. Pluto also has a hard time letting go....

Aha you've go The Lord of The Underworld squaring your Moon....now i understand your efforts to take control over the patriarchal tendencies in the village:cool:

"Pleeeeeease support me, Letting gooooooo":sing:

And thankyou astrid, really needed that kind of serious perspective Here and Now....

My main village issues are stemming from Uranus in the 11th house...constant mutiny.
And if I don't keep it light, or if the group is made up of seriously dense ego trippers I can't operate in a group context at all. Obviously I desire control, or I would be participating more in other people's threads. I have Leo rising, Pluto in the first, and am a Capricorn. Ulli controls. Period. But my aim is for everyone to find their own cosmic source then no one is in charge, as everyone somehow can figure it all out for themselves and still be om the same page.

Virgo is perfectionistic. The little girl who wants to cut her birthday cake into twelve perfectly equal slices so that none of her guests feel that someone else got a bigger piece. In the process she destroys the cake, ending up with messy crumble.

About the three planets in Scorpio now..the sun, Venus and Mercury, those of you who know how to roll with the punches it is indeed a cleansing time. But for others who are sensitive it can be a time of psychic entities attacking, so my advice is, don't forget the shields.

Having all-nude women protesting like this in 2003 shows how futile such an effort was.
It only shows those determined that war is the only way how right they are...the demonstration was held in "a private property", IOW in a protected place in a Western country.
They would say thqt until women in the Middle East are free to do the same, if they so wish, the war agenda must continue.
These wars are not only about oil, but also about traditions, and cultures, especially Islamic culture. And even more than that, since ancient artifacts are also involved.

Well surely by me pointing out these synchronicities by no means mean i think these tactics work. To me they are strictly personal and if someone else feels included it might be reflecting something going on in their lives also...and the foreshadowed sync happened just minutes after my post!

I checked out the Greek play Lysistrate and it was about the war btw Athens and Sparta....put on the radio and first thing i hear is a Greek say in Swedish "HOW CAN YOU BE ATHENIAN AND SPARTAN AT THE SAME TIME?
