Purple is, for me, more of an occupation. As in, a job. It's where I came from, it's home, and it's everywhere I go. It means nothing, and it sums up everything. It's masculine and feminine. If feels pain and bliss as one singular sensation. My earliest memory is reaching for that color, the yearning it made me feel even as a small child with no reference for what the feeling was or where it came from. It's almost the exact color of this text on this page, and it's more properly termed 'indigo'.
It really does make my heart go pitter-pat.

"750 women going nude in protest Feb.9 2003" from The Sunday Mail........Brisbane Austrailia!
I had this pic on my fridge never realizing it was "Aussies" doing this. Coincidence Heyoka?
:pound: Absolutely!
And then again..why did that first post of mine appear in this one:confused: Probably some sync will show up later...Nooo, have to run packing...please release me from this village....
Having all-nude women protesting like this in 2003 shows how futile such an effort was.
It only shows those determined that war is the only way how right they are...the demonstration was held in "a private property", IOW in a protected place in a Western country.
They would say thqt until women in the Middle East are free to do the same, if they so wish, the war agenda must continue.
These wars are not only about oil, but also about traditions, and cultures, especially Islamic culture. And even more than that, since ancient artifacts are also involved.
Well surely by me pointing out these synchronicities by no means mean i think these tactics work. To me they are strictly personal and if someone else feels included it might be reflecting something going on in their lives also...and the foreshadowed sync happened just minutes after my post!
I checked out the Greek play Lysistrate and it was about the war btw Athens and Sparta....put on the radio and first thing i hear is a Greek say in Swedish "HOW CAN YOU BE ATHENIAN AND SPARTAN AT THE SAME TIME?
My response was not to you, transiten. It was to the activity itself. Or whoever organized it.
The fact that you are getting synchronicities shows that you have the male female/ balance thing in place.
Also, the fact that you are an astrologer.
As The Arthen said, it's about updating perceptions, because in the eye of the beholder is everything. Aye, aye. Eye, eye.

Here are a couple of pictures taken just before we bared all to assist you in finding us:

You look very pretty in pink your Hilariousness.
As far as my attire ... that one makes my butt look big. Doncha think???
:yo: + man ... ... NOW I get it!!!
I have so very much to learn from you ... tremendous gap from the Fool to the Village Idiot. You have set the bar most high.
I was even going to mention there are the other 8 when it comes to 7 of 9 but I see you figured that one out as well. I was going to suggest doing the math and let your imagination run wild with it but since your are sending 6 that limits you to 7 remaining.
... and as far as a timetable for 6 returning me to the fold ... be patient. I am in bad shape ... probably take *months* of intense physical therapy.

My earliest genetic or racial memories indicated what I thought to be female humanoid entities. They did something, some sort of rite that separted something from them. This resulted in MAN-kind. LITERALLY. Men. Males. I'm looking at this from the standpoint of retrieving creation matrix information from my genetics, and that is where the word Matriachal came from. Matrice(S) . Matrix. Creation matrix. The Bible would have you beleive that it was MEN who were the original source matter for females, and they just sort flip flopped the story in Genesis , which is a metaphor for genetics.. May as well say Genesis was the origins of Patriarchy.
So perhaps this notion that women hold for men, that they are a different species is not all that inaccurate...lol. And ditto for men, who think females are another species ...lol.
Somethingasn't sitting right about that little bit of information I got there, so when I went back and retrieved this byte of information again and looked at it again, the enities were more androgynous than overlty female. But whatever they had done, whether it was by design or accident, had caused a division into male and female.. I get the sense it was means of preserveration though. So whatever they removed or separated from themselves have become men, and the remainder of, or rather ,what was left of the ORIGIN ,was left as female.
Not sure that has anything to do with apples or oranges but ....it may not be a matter of evolving into blend of male and female but going back into our ORIGIN-al state. Isn't that what we are always saying? We have to get back to the place that we used to be before the wool was pulled over our perceptions? People joke that men are always trying to climb back into the womb (he, he) but you know maybe its not so much of a joke after all.

This is the way I see it;
Maleness is simply the outgoing force of Mars (Fire).
Which is the first hexagram in the I Ching- the Creative.
Femaleness is it's opposite: the attraction force of Venus. (Air)
which is the second hexagram in the I Ching: the Receptive.
Perfect balance between the two.
When a person becomes spiritual they can become identified
with whichever of the two forces they chose to,
at whichever moment they wish.
They can then be detached from their bodies.
All the villagers here, including the men, know this
which is why the game can continue as a game.
It becomes serious when identification with one side or the other takes over
which thank God hasn't happened yet.
I love you all.

It is definently two very polarizing forces that we are creating in the now STILL. And not at all well understood, and some of the concepts that people take on without getting into the reality of it...well...it makes me shudder.
I shudder everytime someone gets that glazed look in their eyes and vapidly stares off into the future envisioning a time when 'women will rule the earth".
To men who say this, I say ..."I'm not cooking, not cleaning, not spitting out any more kids, not shutting up, not wiping ass....or kissing it. Been there done that. Had the 'experience' so to speak.
...so I'm sure what you're getting so excited about. "
To woman who hold this vision,I say back..."Okay you'll end up cooking, cleaning, and wiping ass when not kissing it.. So I'm not sure what you are getting so excited about..."

There was a Native American Bahai, Kevin Locke, a Dakota hoop dancer.
He became a member of the National Assembly of the Bahais of the US.
Even then the refused to get a telephone, as he could hear it in his head

The pendulum will swing on the other direction and will evolve into whatever extreme it does. It will probably be shocking to today's sensibilities. As it always is. The truth of the matter is that the Female has always been the more extreme in direct violence, regarding the females of the species on this planet. Meaning overall, not just human species. The males, overall, procreate. The females, on the other hand must protect the brood. So the females are notably more violent in a clash of wills involving life or death.
There is also the point that the females of the human species decide whom they procreate with, so they have the ultimate control and last say. Anyone with an ounce of sense understands this. :p This is the source of the 'yes' man who is the successful husband, in the western system of 'marriage'.
It reminds me of a complaint in a student engineering newspaper, for a major university. I was reading it one day and laughed my butt off. It was in the classified section and it was notice and plea/inquiry from Robert's friends as to what had happened to him. They wanted him to go out partying with them more often, like the days of old. But he had met a young woman and he had suddenly left his **** at home, in a jar, on the shelf, every time he went out with her, They said. So they wanted to bring that to his attention and they urged him to take it with him, even if he just kept it in the car or in his knapsack. :p

I get your point, Carmody. But I still think in the long run (big picture) it all balances out.
No one is ahead of the other.
The art of negotiation has to be learnt, by either side.
I have given many readings to very angry mums, angry about their husbands not living up to expectations.
I would then point out how the scene would look from the man's perspective.
Coming home from work is meant to be entering a place of refuge. Instead it is usually mayhem, nowadays.
Plus having to worry about 3 D maintenance, the kid's education, and security.
Once these women got to see things from the guy's point of view they fell in love with their men again.
My main job as an astrologer, the way I saw it, was to keep the family nest intact,

The principal of male and female unity is basically women intuitively know what has to be done. And men intuitively know how to do it. Now if we could unwarp our understanding here consider what sorts of amazing things could be wrought from this. This transcends the Hearth Keeper-Nurturer vs Hunter-Warrior Archetypes and really puts us back into a place of co creation.
As far as violence, at one time it was a key component creation matrix. A volcano didn't sprout gently from the earth to shape mountains and continents it erupted in a volatile fashion.
And the concept got corrupted and perverted. As demonstrated by the violence of childbirth that is beginning to abate a little bit as we begin to understand the nature of the process. Why can some women put their tasks aside and go have a baby with no pain and cook dinner an hour later and why do we have this Westernized paradigm of its all horror, and bloody and painful and requires a period of confinement as if someone had just suffered a dread disease.
Our minds, our conditioning imposing unflattering influence on concepts that were once entirely and naturally and unmindfully expressed.

We see in healthy relationships very base level apparent manifestations of co creation between couples. They create a great life between themselves.
The mutual respect has to be in place there. I have so many higher level concepts that man who are working in the same level can bang out complete detailed, alchemical, scientific, philosophical, technological proponents to support my concept. I only had the concept, me brain doesn't allow for all this other high falutin' logical stuff. When they present it I understand it an abstract way but I can't demonstrate it or even find the language for it. Its like they have the knowledge of how to intiate something into form but without the inspiration or the presentation of the female concept that knowledge remains dormant.
But we have to get out of that ownership paradigm where we own the idea and the concept and how its done. Anything that is created between two or more is shared there's not ownership in there. Traditionally men are better earners than women and maybe that's why ---they KNOW how to do it, women know it should and can be done or where its best done at but men have that active fire energy.
But on the flip side....
Likely is why we've been happy assholing into this downward spiral of war after war after war for thousands of years. Women KNEW that didn't need to be done, but we had no voice, and men not having a new concept to set off their inspirational proccesses sort of got stuck in this venomous rut. War itself really revolves around ..ownership. Greed.
Hopefully we can move this into a place where women conceptualize not having to war (or own) and men will know how to facilitate the proponents that prop up that concept so it be created.
People very much venerate the idea of a woman's intuition the water energy, but a intuitive concept has to have the mans iinput to be born into form. Not to say all women are useless at that part of it but how much more effective could we be getting into aflow instead resistance. So men have been equally put down in this whole patriachal nightmare. There was more doing than conceiving (female conceptualizing)
The principal of male and female unity is basically women intuitively know what has to be done. And men intuitively know how to do it.

Ive spent the last four years on my own after being in relationships with guys all my life, even thru school, I always had a boyfriend. Ulli knows my chart and Ive always been impulsive when it comes to guys, so its been no mean feat being on my own but I just knew it had to be done. My last relationship was the worst ever and a total karmic nightmare. It was like being married to my mother! But definately the one I needed for growth. It sounds a cliche but Im finally getting to know me and I like it. My only bugbear is the sometime pitying looks I get from my friends. I wanna scream "IM SINGLE, NOT DYING YA KNOW"!
But I feel sorry for guys at the moment, as the male/female energies are intergrating they look scared. Not talking about guys here of course. Im just seeing it all around me like my brother and certain friends, bosses etc.

Thanks ulli ,it would have been great to have us all sing and howl like a pack of wolfs!
I still haven't mastered the quotation technique to get the nice blue quotationmarks......i'll make them myself.....transition, yes please!
Nighty night! Time is 22.22
Goodmorning ulli! You mean you really typed "transition"? I actually planned to be with my father on Oct 28, End of Mayan Calendar Calleman style. Many years ago i wrote a song "Venus" living on "Starshieldstreet" long before i heared about the Mayan Calendar. I knew though that in Greek mythology Venus was regarded as Godess of Love as Evening star but Godess of War as Morning star.............
"Early one morning did Venus pass by, she twinkled there through my window
Orion the Hunter was there by her side..........................................................."
Anyway i woke up at 5 from a very disturbing telephonecall and looking out my window Venus was there and Orion to the left. (I hung up immediately and said the Ho'oponopono) First post i saw when joining Divinecosmos was about whether Orion is all negative or not. I've had strong syncs with Orion and interestingly one cannot see Orion and Scorpio (my sun sign) at the same time. In the Greek myth Artemis sent a scorpion to sting Orion since he killed everything in his way.
Well ever since i've been focused on Venus and the Mayan Calendar. The Venus passage also ends 2012 on the Swedish national holiday june 6 the date i happened to join Avalon The Mayans noted that during the Venuspassage when Venus passes before the Sun twice with 8 years in btw every second hundred years, there was unrest and uprising because of the elite's powerabuse but also communication breakthroughs.

Hi Lisa,
It was great to read your words there, having first read of this inevitability quite a few years ago, and as with you, it was written in a compassionate manner. I readily acknowledged the concept at the time, and felt grateful for being, I hoped, somewhat "ahead of the game". That may well be attributable to having had a Mother who set the better example to me as a child. I actually see this playing out all around me, with men's behaviour either being tempered with the integration of feminine energy, or hardening (crumbling actually) as they seek refuge in an even more pronounced expression of the stereotypical male. They are afraid, for the game is changing in a very real sense, and it is only right that we should feel compassion for them.
Thanks Lisa :)

I can think of at least 4 methods and technologies of enacting such. Two already exist in stories and reports. No, three. OK, I've got 5 potential ways to make one.

Even if that reality is twenty years ago, it's still true.

This is the gentle approach .
Main detox component is chlorella an algae,
I have to take it for 4 months 30tabs a day ,
60 on day 14 , a rest day then start over.
Also have some other things some minerals ,
A herbal tea mix and some homeopathic tabs.
This dentist is holistic even uses muscle testing
Was trained in Germany .
Very luck to find him really.
After 6 months I go back for more testing ,
And all going well we then detox my brain .
They use coriander for that.
And this is not just for Merc it
will clean out other heavy metals too .
Years of using Aluminium
coffee pots and renovating houses with lead paints
not all that healthy ..

So what do you make of that disturbing phone call? The last one like that came at 3 am a couple of days around the time my son was born. In 1979. There I was, expecting to go into labour any moment and some guy calls and asks me what colour panties was I wearing? I wonder if it was my son's spirit, already thinkng of women's underwear.
I'm going to confront him next time I talk to him.
Like you I also tend to connect two coinciding events, but am inclined to be skeptical about ancient mythology. Always have been. Although I like to play with the concepts, I don't like the characters of those dudes so I refuse to be identified.
Everyone I meet wants me to read some book they are reading which my words remind them of. Western civilization has turned everyone into readers. I was the same. In fact, when I moved to Costa Rica I was shocked to see no book shelves other than what they had there to read for some law degree. Most houses have a dusty bible on a stand in the entrance hall, open on the page of the 23rd psalm. But no reading. So that Latino culture changed me...gradually. Activated my right brain hemisphere.
Why should I read some author who is now capitalizing on thoughts I have had for decades? Maybe my thoughts reached him over the ether and he went "wow, I can make money with these thoughts! Let me write them down." Lots of readers ready to buy books.
My point with this rant is the more we stand in our personal power, the less we are reached by disturbances. That's what I mean by being shielded.

Western civilization has turned everyone into readers...........Why should I read some author who is now capitalizing on thoughts I have had for decades?
Hi ulli,
Here is a thought..............
I used to possess a veracious appetite when it came to books. A case in point is when I first encountered Gnostic thought over ten years ago. Before I knew what was happening, I had amassed an impressive library, including rare and out of print editions. To this day, some of those books remain unread, and although I have been heavily influenced by Gnostic teachings, the essence could have been communicated verbally in a few short minutes, with the remaining material serving more of a support role; a form of evidence if you like.
I have also read that our often insatiable appetite for books and learning is often fueled by our inability / unwillingness to put into action what we have already learned. My library is quite large, and some time ago I had to admit that a good portion of it was simply repetitive; same old themes and teachings, over and over ad-nauseam. Why the repetition; I was lazy, and trying to offset that laziness with further study, intellectual vanity masquerading as a desire for further study. I needed to get off my arse, and put into practice what I had learned, and that'll take the rest of my days!
The truths that we all require are simple; Universal Truths are simpler still.
I don't read anywhere near as much as I used to, though I still treasure my library. :)

Dear Heyoka_11
Thank you for a brilliant post.
I knew you had that library
and I also knew that you hadn't read it all....didn't need to.
And I also have that attachment to those books...
sometimes I wonder what would happen if I did a ceremonial book-burning.
I already gave away most of my sic-fi books, then my Tarot and occult books which
I donated to an old man who had shop in his house in Barbados, selling rare books.
That was over 30 years ago. While there I bought my copy of the I Ching
which served me well over all these years.
The only books I could never give away were Gurdjieff, Astrology, and Baha'i.
The Gnostic teachings were downloaded into me directly while I was sleeping.
You don't have to believe it, but it's true.
Then I was guided to a forum called Nagual, also later guided to listen to John Lash
although I refuse to accept anyone else's mythology, as I explained earlier.
WE are the makers of today's urban myths, right here at Avalon, and in particular the VILLAGE...

Good Morning EagleSpirit!
Reminders of the sun are always welcome.
Even though I don't want to knock the moon and all those lunar energies
the sun gets first place with me.
When applying that in astrology I came up with the idea
that most of people's problems are caused because they express
their lunar tendencies more than their sun signs.
Ever since I keep my Taurus (moon) possessiveness and overindulgence
in check and express my sun with all that haughty lofty Capricornian authority without fear I am so much happier.
Every sun sign has something to offer, so I say 'go for it', whatever your sun sign might be.
Give your moons a seat in the second row.
I have a good friend here in Barbados who has the moon in Capricorn, and the sun in Taurus.
What I stated applies to him in reverse.
He is a fashion designer, too.

Playdo is capricorn, as well.
I also have spent the last few years doing comparitively little reading, rather putting into extensive practice all that I've learned. Once you practice what you've learned, the next step, and the next and so on, are laid out for you, and those further steps can't be found written anywhere. I also have studied Gnosticism, and some of the practices I've found plugged in quite nicely with the practice I've developed, but the mythology part I found to be just as biased as any other, none of the mythologies or histories go back far enough, or tell the story true enough, to suit me, anyway.
I've encountered the master numerous times during "contact" experiences, times I've been consciously aware on board "ships" although I think it's not really a ship as we might would think. Anyways, once this started years ago, I became fond of telling the southern baptists who have made the mistake of evangelizing to me, that you can't really be a christian if you don't believe in ufo's. There's quite a bit of scripture to support this, but usually the conversation doesn't get that far. I grew up pentecostal, and was "spirit filled" from early adolescence, and that was combines with et experiences, so I never was a normal, well adjusted child. In sunday school they had to stick me in with the high school kids because I kept challenging the teachers on the interpretation of the bible. Nowadays, I keep most of what I've got going on to myself, except for my friends who know me well. Here in MS folks mostly aren't ready to here about et jesus. Ha!
This post is somewhat aimless, sooo, lets see where it goes!
Carmody, playdo and I have a close friend who has reported many events/experiences of spiritual work that match what you report very closely. I knew you were on the level right off because of this. I know very well the kind of person that will work to help out with wide area translations of souls, so I would be inclined to trust you as well. But, I am mentioning this now, because no, I don't claim to work it like you do, but I know one who does, so this is just to say you're not doing it alone, and there are those like me that play supporting roles in the planetary work as well. I extrapolate from what my friend tells me, and what I see coming up, to guess at the load you have to shoulder here coming up, and all this is to say, you're not meant to do it alone, there is a lot of energy being offered to assist in the work that's to be done. I'm rambling, but it's just to say we got your back, if you will have us.
One particular friend, when we were discussing jesus and ufo's, made a strong statement that jesus didn't need a spaceship, but if he did have one it would be made of wood. So the thought of a wooden ufo makes me smile still.
Here and Now, I'm off work today, so I'm gonna work up something extra sparkly for the world today, like maybe turn the earth into a giant disco ball, light just a shootin out all over the place! Love!

Sleep is all haywire
Both physical processing
And mental / emotional processing .
Think i better start writing things down again
to hasten the process. Lots of flashes of my parents
and the time around my conception and birth .
Takes me to tackle so many deep issues all at once,
12th house once again very active .
But then it's all connected so hardly surprising
body detox is triggering deeper things .
Lots istored in various layers .

I've read michael newton, too, and one thing struck me as a possible connection of all the alternate timelines he documented. That being *drumroll* the spork. I solved it by not being drunk since I was 19.
Ever since that friend and I drank that '40 of Sauza in 3 hours...and then went downtown to 'get drunk'. We drank beer for another 6 hours straight. I spent the last 4 hours of that drunk holding one hand over my right eye so I could see properly, as I spouted what felt like amazing and relevant philosophy. So, I started a drunk with 20oz of tequila in me (over a 3 hour period).*
Then came the deathly 3 day hangover with acute toxic overload. My body remembers so well that, to this day, for example: I have two beers in my fridge..and I have bottled water. I grab the bottled water every time. I bought the two beers about 3 months back. I love the darned things, but I hate the feeling on the other side of them more than I like the beer, it seems.
*My friend woke up around 10:30 in the morning, IIRC. He was on somone's front lawn across from a junior kid's school. They came out for their first recess and continued their gawking and throwing stuff and yelling at him, like they did in the morning , presumably, but he never woke up for the first run.

I can count on one hand the number of times that I've had a hangover, and a few of those times I did utilize the KFC MP trick, and it worked like a charm. Nowadays I drink a beer or two every night, ever since I had those kidney stones. Beer is good for keeping you flushed out, as it were. I used to have a bad ol' Dr. Pepper monkey on my back but these days I drink water like I used to drink the DP, which is to say, a lot. The only times I ever get drunk is when I am hanging out with close friends, all of which live at least a hundred miles away, and then I don't get hangovers, usually. I stay away from liquor altogether, which probably has a lot to do with the lack of hangovers, I suppose.
Good to know that it's the festival of lights! I've been burning more candles than usual, today, as it is!

Its the grease.
The hangover is caused by the toxic by-products
that result from the body metabolizing alchohol.
The grease slows down the metabolic process.
I have buttered toast, or if i'm out, greasy chips.

Internet was down again this morning.
So I went and started making small shell
and crystal charm bracelets for little girls.
This mornings walk was very brisk.
We walked past a shopping center
where I used to own a jewelry and beach gear shop, many years ago.
It then carried on with the old name.
Now it's empty, but the old sign is still up.
Feeling tempted to start over again.
I would do second hand stuff, high end.
But business has dropped and yet the rents have gone up,
plus I have a commitment in Costa Rica.
Greedy landlords are trying to catch some young hopeful
who doesn't know yet
how those rents can kill a business,
especially during the off season
when no one walks in the door for days.
And many of the rich are feeling poor right now,
even when they still have millions in assets.
We have to appeal to them to go on consuming,
just so people can put food on the table.

Dear Astrid,
Thank you for the beautiful piano vid, and for noticing I was at 666. I actually like that number!
I love a piano, too, and would love to have one again. My mother-in-law gave me an old upright many years ago, a beautiful antique with carved woodwork. It needed some TLC and I found a tuner who was able to bring it back to its glory. I never re-finished the wood but always wanted to get it done. On one of our moves, I was convinced that the piano needed to go, and sold it to a neighbor who did refinish it and plays often so it's in a good home. But I still covet that piano, even though I don't play that well ... having a piano in the house helps make it a home.
I hope you get a wonderful piano soon, Astrid!

Have you ever heard of R.L.Burnside? I use to watch him live in Oxford, MS, at Proud Larry's, a bar/venue in town. One of a kind. Sadly, he died a few years ago. Hello everyone...! I've done the disappearing act on you guys again but no worries all good. I actually have some good news.
I've found myself a little job! *cheers* First time waitressing in a steakhouse rest...so I have so much more to worry about, haha - but at least its OTHER stuff.
Ahh..if anyone is familiar with the tv show, TRUE BLOOD? The lights are low and 'intimate' like in that bar and I feel a little bit like Sookie - and I keep waiting for my very own vampire to walk in. Seeing as Halloween is close I shouldn't be THAT disappointed, right? :p Bless you if anyone can understand me! And if you can't, sorry...hormones are a funny thing lmao!
Things seem to be getting on track for me - then in Jan I will be starting my Beauty Therapist course that goes on for a year and bit....and I can't wait to get started! As soon as I graduate I want to get myself on a cruise ship for at least 6 months and get a nice work and holiday all in one...traveling far away from here.
But yes! PLANS! Finally! I feel free and able to do something for me...I am so happy! But there you go, I wanted to update you guys so no one worries where I ran off too...
:) Yay...! lol! Flasky--------->:dance::dance::dance: Wooot!

Thank god the conversation didn't go of into Sookie. I used to live in the town Charlaine Harris grew up in, and I still have close friends there. I can't tell you how many hours upon hours I've heard two of the women I work with go on and on abou Bill and Sookie, etc. I've not seen the show, nor read the books, but at this point I don't need to having heard all about it. R.L. would tell these great jokes on stage in between songs. There's one album titled, "Well, Well, Well...." that features some of these jokes. He also does his version of Stagger Lee on that album. Anyhow, here's one joke I heard him tell, but I am not sure how its gona go without being verbally enhanced:
"Me and a buddy were coming across a field one dark, cold night and came upon a barbed wire fence. Just as I get over my buddy leaps over and falls right on top of me. I felt something cold and wet running all over me. I says to my buddy, "That better be yo' blood, and not my bottle of gin!"
It's wet and rainy here and now, too, PL. Good day for some blues:

When I woke up this morning ther was no Internet. If I had known that it was the 28th I might have concluded that it had to do with the end of the Mayan calendar.
But by 8 am it was back, and everything was back to normal.
Then went up to my grandson's playschool for a Haloween party. It was situated in a grove of ancient mahogany trees, in the grounds of an equally ancient plantation house. A Montessori school. If anyone is interested I might upload some pics later on.*
While my grandsons are taking their naps I am reading Rolling Stone magazine which I bought for my son at Miami airport as it had Steve Jobs on the cover.
Glad to have a village to report to. I was never good at journaling for myself only. The sharing part is what makes the story more real.
*While there my best reading glasses broke. Another sure sign of the end of the Mayan calendar.

Mayan calender or no, something is afoot. It seems, from last nights dream, that the chips have fallen. A little glimpse into me, all my dreams are very lucid, and the majority of the time I have a crystal clear memory of deliberately obscuring them from conscious recollection. Last night *it didn't work*, so I tried fear, and that didn't work either, so I tried recollection/nostalgia, which also didn't work, so then I used sex to distract, and that worked and I came back. About two hours into my work day it started coming back through, hence my opening statement. Last night I did some really heavy working, the heaviest magic I've ever tried to do in order to smooth, to stabilize whatever this was coming down. So, nobody believes anything I say, and that's OK, because I know what I know. I'm not concerned with recognition. I say it here because I love you guys and if nothing happens it don't mean nothing is happening.

My ex dropped in yesterday, bought us dinner and some food for my dogs,
i gave him a dozen fresh eggs from my girls, he was very happy.
Who needs money, all i need is move to where i have land, get some goats, make my own cheese, etc,
have loads of food growing, and Voila, i can swap for anything i need...
Good plan i think......
Sorry to hear of your loss Fred, im heading towards the same journey myself with my own mother. I pray that she now rests in peace,

So, it has been a few days. I just finished taking my hands off of my last client of the day. An 80 minute deep tissue. Very happy with her treatment and left a nice gratuity. We are in the middle of a snowstorm and have 5 inches of wet snow on the ground. Had to cut some of the lines on my tarp covering my tent so that the snow can slide off. I placed a 2x4 in the center of the tent to give the supporting poles some help with any extra weight. The Oak tree full of leaves above my tent is very burdened with the snow and is groaning a bit. It keeps shedding snow to keep from dropping a branch on my tent. I am good friends with the tree and it wishes I was not there during this storm. We'll see how well my 'conversation' with the all of the energetic 'particulars' goes. I have a good feeling about things. Friends do not hurt friends, intentionally.
Have to leave the wellness center and go check on the tent now. I will give an update if the internet connection holds up.

Those who can use it, will, and those who can't will lose a finger. You have nothing to fear.

But what if the Lady in the Red Letters bans me????
:banplease:
The Lady in the Red Letters slowly sashays in her red spike heels higher than the Falls of Rauros, red skirt tighter than the grip of a woman in labor, in an Annunaki skin clinging black lambskin leather jacket, with 40 red rose buttons up the front, tinier than little French spring peas, 15 of which are unbuttoned at the top ... the wind blows back her hair, sunglasses glinting as she slowly moves towards Calz, sitting on a quay bench by the Village beach, staring at the undulating woman approaching him, with awe, trepidation and a sense of doom emphasized by the suddenly louring skies of grey cumulus accumulating over his head at supersonic speed and the cracks of lightening approaching one mile closer every three seconds don't help. Up and down The Village streets, doors slam shut, announcing and locating the movement of the Lady in the Red Letters.
The Lady in the Red Letters comes up to Calz, insolently and indolently viewing his aspects (Calz is really hung up on that sweatshirt with sequins) which are not displayed to their full potential but at least Calz is wearing clean white socks with his black sandals. <shudder>
"Calz.", the Lady in the Red Letters utters in a voice redolent of mead, honey, brown sugar, molasses, agarve, and maple syrup, slowly dripping down the inside of Calz's head, spine, and heart, to paralyze him, held motionless staring into the eyes of the Lady in the Red Letters wearing the biggest eyelashes he has ever seen, the size of which could never be smaller than the Empire State Building. "Calz,", she repeats throatily, "Ban you? Why ever would you think Queen Ulli would let you go? She has plans for you. Big plans. Queen Ulli says to tell you Calz," and the Lady in the Red Letters bends over giving Calz a glimpse of melons greater than the Great Pumpkin, shortly to arise on All Hallows Eve, "Halloween is coming Calz, and we're going to have dinner, mmmmmm .... roasted long pig."
Startled, the Lady in the Red Letters remembers she must put Calz on a diet solely consisting of spiced apples and sour dough stuffing for the remainder of his pitiful existence as she softly mutters a reminder into her iPhone4, a cherry candy apple Meatloaf red iPhone4 of course.
The Lady in the Red Letters disapparates as do the thunder and lightening, rolling away into the distance.
Calz, relieved yet forlorn, turns and quickly walks away, to avoid the reactions of the Villagers, who now know as Calz does not (he is not the brightest stick of incense in the package) ... the doom that awaits Calz, the dinner that awaits them. They smack their lips in anticipation. juicy, roasted, browned, bursting with goodness and Godliness, a unique recipe created by Chef Junebug, Caramelized Calz.

Hi All,
Is this a private party or can anyone join in? Lol... Been popping in and out of this thread for awhile. I made one post at the beginning I think.
Seems like this thread has taken on a life of its own.
Here now? I'm sitting on my back porch near Byron in Oz, and there is a wonderful light show going on, thunder rumbling, my lights are going on and off, better be quick otherwise the electricity might go down. Hey, but I have plenty of candles!
I love nights like these, have a nice chilled charddy with ice in my favourite antique glass. What more could I want? All is well in my world.
Cheers everyone!
Love Lily
x
PS: Uh oh! First sounds of hailstones on the roof! It's ok, my car is in the garage.
Extra PS: Rain falling softly now and the lightening show is magnificent, still rolling thunder. And the aroma from my garden is sublime. Rain on red hot soil and the scent of rain on the lawn and hedges, beautiful. Just imagine it....breathe it in deeply and enjoy....

Hi Lily,
So glad you came! Of course you can join the party, but be aware that gender wars pop up from time to time. You can take cover then if you wish, or join the fray.
Wish I were sitting on the porch with you there in Byron, watching the fury ... I love storms, so full of power and electricity. We get lots of summer storms here ... got my trusty oil lamps when the power goes out.

Welcome Lily! I am sure that you will enjoy your stay in the village. As my goofy big sister :girl_wacko: has pointed out, there is the occasional gender war. These are started by none other than my goofy big sister :girl_wacko: herself. Should you find yourself caught in the crossfire, you are free to seek shelter with the gentle village male folk.

And you should be sorry too! The recipe clearly stated 1 hour at 175 degrees Celcius per 50kg body weight, and you set the oven to 200 degrees. I shall be picking Cal out from between my teeth for days. Where are the toothpicks anyway?

Good Morning Fred and All...Yep, nothin' like heavy wet snow in New England!
I am right where the rain/snow line came through...got a few inches of snow and then turned to rain...lots of downed limbs and trees in the area.
Sounded like gunshots a couple times last nite when large limbs broke loose in the woods near by.
Once again Fred...have a good trip home and I hope there is minimal damage at Your home from the water pipe burst.
Gonna be a busy day in a very good way...helping my good Native American friend, Kevin, to do some snow clearing at home and at relatives homes...and then we are prepping for a Sweat Lodge this evening. His wife, Carol, is having a number of her girl friends over for the Ceremony...so it will be full of Female Energy...wonderfully fitting in these times. I will be fire-tender...I love the Ceremony, very special for me : )

Yeah, I'm drawing comfort from this village, that's for sure.
That whole thing about familiarity is what comfort zones are based on.
Later on, down the generations, traditions are formed.

In the New Orleans tradition of playing a rousing song after a funeral, because music is part of death, as much as life.
I think of my friend Bonnie who asked for a noisy party after her service, years ago ... her life was full of fun and music, and her farewell as filled with as much fun as her friends and family could manage.

The lowering sun has swung around to the back deck, and I am soaking it up, here and now. Trees have lost many leaves in the recent rain/wind, but still some color left.
Two yearling whitetail deer wandered onto the side lawn, just a few steps from the forest. I could see mom deer back amongst the trees keeping an eye on them. They sensed me watching them and high tailed it back to the woods. We have too many deer here on the mountain.. they were introduced here years ago and have no predators. It's a treat to see them up close like today.
Going to make Butternut Squash Bisque with chicken for supper. Lunch is catch as can. Too pretty outdoors to think about being in the kitchen.
I'm having fits knitting a pair of baby socks for my friend's little boy born last week ... found red sport weight washable wool on sale...they will be adorable if I can ever quit messing up.
Ulli, bet you could knit them in no time!

Only if I were to follow the pattern exactly. Do you have a pattern? Socks can be tricky
Here and now...the army of gardeners have just left...my goodness, what a noisy bunch,
with their trimmers and lawn mowers and loud yelling over the noisy machines.
I wonder what happened to Modwiz and those snowy branches above his tent.
Maybe he would need a stronger tent now.
How about a Mongolian yurt?

Yes, wondering about Modwiz too ... that snow was heavy, as Fred said. Love the yurt picture! They are wonderful! I visited one near Huntsville a couple years ago, lady uses it for a healing space, out in the woods. My cousin knows her and knew we'd like to meet.
I do have a sock pattern ... one I modifed to make the size I like. I like the socks a bit bigger so baby has more than 2 weeks to wear them. Newborns grow so fast. That tricky bit where you turn the heel, had to think and think about numbers of stitches and how to make it come out right. The pattern is good, just me with my mind wandering I guess, not paying attention. I make a 1x1 ribbing, extra long to turn down.
Glad you have your peace and quiet back.
The wind is getting up, sun not so bright ... think it's time to head back inside.

It is 4 PM on Sunday. 8 inches of snow have fallen and the area is without electricity. Living in the full of love tribe that I do, everything here is functioning well. Our maintenance super heroes have set up generators for the larger buildings and we can gather together in large groups and stay warm. The dining hall continues to put out regular meals and feeds us on time. No heat in the dining hall but the food that should be hot is. The steam issuing from our breath is an interesting effect.
Despite many branches snapping and falling not one of the trees in my campsite dropped anything of consequence. The big Oak over my tent bore its burden with dignity and dropped its load in manageable amounts through the day. My fellow LMT stayed in his tent, he likes the cold, and kept the snow off of his tarp and kept it from crushing his tent. I checked in on him last night and we reinforced our conviction that our friends, the Trees, were going to give us the safe space we needed for our tents. He is my partner in elemental communication. He leaves me to talk to the storms. Less snow than predicted and it ended earlier too. The wind that was expected came as a few helpful zephyrs to relieve the branches some of their weight. We embraced Love and it embraced us back.
Dinner is in a hour. I will try and get to my tent and grab my camera for some pictures, if the cold didn't kill the battery. I did my last massage of the season today. My last two people were wonderful spirits, in their sixties and the conversations would have fit into any intelligent thread here.

Okay sleepy village nuggets ... here and now I am pulling a juke box with what little strength my poor (ready to be sacrificed, roasted and eaten alive) body can muster.
Juke boxes don't do well getting pulled through a village ... but if I am going to have a dying wish ... I may as well have heyoka herculean strength (no doubt inspired by 6).
This is dedicated to June Critter as well as (perhaps) a final salute (since I am the main dish) to the "all in fun" gender wars. A bit of a southern crooner ... goes back to the 70's.
