Whiskey, that bilderberger thingy is funny. How you are doing at your new job? Hope it's going awesome for you!.

It's going well. My first game will be out in January. It has a theme of paranormal investigation, conspiracy, and a large multinational corporation involved with mind control. It might get dumbed down by the time it is published, though.

Is the Bilderbob game one you did?

Continuing in the stream of consciousness connectivity game, I knew a speechless Slomo (well, he wasn't exactly speechless -- he used whistling to pick up women. He was known back in the early 70's in San Francisco as the singing Rabbi, Rabbi Slomo. The woman I was with at the time was a former zen student who decided to pursue her jewish roots, so she heard of this hip and popular Rabbi in the New Age scene, and went to check him out. He was playing his guitar in front of a bunch of appreciative folks, but chose to zero in on my friend, all the while whistling and cooing, telling her what a fine young jew she was, how lovely, interspersing his wooing with various whistles. My friend was quite unsettled by the experience, and never returned to Slomo's synagogue.

Bill Murray in Lost in Translation....
Each time you leave a post I'm reminded of the weirdest synchronicity ever...
I have yet to find an angle that explains what happened there...
It's to do with the Karaoke scene. There are four songs in total, and each one was written by someone I knew personally.
I met quite a few people who were famous, or later became famous, but the ones who would remember me and open their door to me if I were to appear unannounced on their doorstep are all bundled in that scene.
So I'm watching Lost In Translation in a movie theater in Costa Rica....went there with a couple whom I barely knew..my husband was away traveling..and these people didn't know me well enough to really understand my huge surprise which had me nearly walk out to get some air.
So I'm sitting there and on comes Bill Murray and sings "what's so funny 'bout peace, love and understanding"...
The day that song was written I was with its composer, which most people think was Elvis Costello, but that's not true. The song w written by Nick Lowe, and he was my boyfriend at the time he wrote it. I was staying with him that weekend, he lived on a farm with the band of which he was then the lead singer... Brinsley Schwarz. I even met his parents and sister. We broke up when I went to Barbados, that was 1974. Elvis Costello was a friend of Nick's and he went on and made that song famous. Nick himself struggled for years, but only got his financial break after he produced the music for the movie The Bodyguard. He later married the daughter of Johnny Cash, but that marriage went south, for the same reason that I wouldn't commit in the first place...alcoholism.

That same year I was close with Chrissie Hynde, just before she formed the band The Pretenders. We would hang out together, she'd pick me up from my home and we'd go to concerts. At the time she was working for Vivienne Westwood (now famous Paris based fashion designer) and Malcolm MacLaren ( founder of the punk music scene and manager of the Sex Pistols) In the movie the Scarlett Johansson character sings a Chrissie Hynde song.
Then Bill Murray starts another song and I'm getting goosebumps by now. I mean a two-song synchronicity I could understand...but three? This one was a Bryan Ferry song, when he used to be with Roxy Music. I met all members, even sat at a table with Brian Eno, but Bryan Ferry and his ex-wife became quite close friends of mine...who even had me over for their Christmas dinner in Barbados. After I moved to Costa Rica I shut that door behind me, and never even replied to Lucy Ferry's letter.
...

I'm another fan of Lost in Translation (especially the Karaoke scene), Bill, Nick, Chrissie and Bryan. No idea what this video has to do with the song? :p

..there must be more meaning than this....

It's difficult for the meaning-seeking mind to accept the fact that there is a lot of stuff that it will never be able to figure out.

Never is a long time, bob.
I have a long list of questions which I will demand answers for...
When the moment is right.
Most of them pertaining to what my cat was trying to tell me
and I was too duh to understand.
Still learning cat talk...maybe PL has a few hints how to speed up the process.

Yes, but discursive mind comes with an expiration date.

It's a funny thing about the mind. There is a way in which the mind, no matter how hard it works, never gets there. The minute you realize that and surrender into being, rather than knowing, you've just moved to the next level.

Here's a song for Isaac, pointed toward the Atlantic side of Florida and expected to make landfall Sunday. Loving energy to Haiti for those souls and to Cuba who will feel it soon.

zGTCcryaZ6w

Alabama will probably get rain Sunday. Probably all night long, and we'll have broken limbs in the road Monday morning.

I'm coming up on my seventh anniversary working at my current job. I started on August 29, 2005, the day after Hurricane Katrina struck New Orleans. During the night a big tree blew across the mountain road and no one could get down until a City worker came with a chainsaw. * So I had to call in on my first day at work to say I'd be an hour late ... what an auspicious way to start a new job. Things went downhill from there, but after awhile they finally picked up. What changed? I did, and then circumstances started to change in response. We had a seminar today, and I realized how much it's changed. Fortune was extra nice to me today, I won $40 door prize... I 'never' win anything.
-----------------
*In the old days, one of the men with a truck and a chainsaw in the back would've done the job on his way down (yeah, a redneck guy who carries useful stuff, something besides empty beer cans in the back of his truck :) ). But now the mountain has grown too expensive for plain folks. I only live there because my folks bought a block of land when it was cheap, before the road was paved and city water lines made their way up the hill. Meh.

I planted my fall/winter heirloom garden today:

Chioggia Beets, Dragon Carrots, Purple Top and White Globe Turnips, Walla Walla Onions, White Sweet onions, Yellow of Parma Onions, Southern Giant Curled Mustard Greens, and Liberty Celery.

Tomorrow I plant the various lettuces and cabbages.

Each seed was graced with a helping tablespoon of azomite! Thanks for the seeds and azomite Purple Lama! Your love and intent is spreading far and wide, especially come harvest when I collect the seeds and duly distribute!

Also, it was a perfect day to plant: there is a gentle and encompassing drizzle in my town tonight.

I'll post some pictures in the near future.

Jean Paul "J.P." Pickens (May 6, 1937 – July 6, 1973), was a leading force in the early North Beach, San Francisco, music scene, circa 1963, along with David Meltzer and James Gurley, defining the psychedelic rock genre. J.P. played regularly at the Coffee Gallery on Grant Street in the early sixties, performing with Meltzer, Gurley and Peter Albin (who later formed Big Brother and the Holding Company) and many others.

J.P.’s electrified banjo playing on the raga-rock epic “The Endless Tunnel,” from David and Tina Meltzer’s album The Serpent Power, featuring their band of the same name, is a rare glimpse of an inspired creative force, and the album has become a collector’s item. 'The Serpent Power' was released on Vanguard Records in 1966, and is played on radio stations all over the country.

This album, The Serpent Power, was named number 28 of 40 Essential Albums of 1967, by Rolling Stone Magazine in a special Summer of Love issue, 2007, honoring the 40th anniversary of the founding of the magazine, with a special mention of the song J.P. plays on, "Endless Tunnel."

A recent review of the album by forcedexposure.com states “…the epic 13-minute-long 'Endless Tunnel,' an Eastern-tinged acid jam spiced up with an electric banjo, is worth the price of admission alone.”

Good day/night

Sitting on a 7 hour journey to Dresden. Loaaaaads of spare time/thoughts.
I am able to write this on a train moving at nearly 300 km's per hour!!! Those are the joys.
The flip side is being exposed to outside noise such as reading about a tiger being shot at the Cologne zoo for killing its keeper who made the mistake of leaving a gate open. Blinded by the light! Tiger extinction adds another 'casualty'. Ugh!

And so...... being on this merry-go-roundabout, I did chortle at Anchor looking for Lil One and Peanut. I love how the village is so global.:)

Enjoy Dresden. I've never been there, can only imagine.

Here and now- looking at my bookmarks I found that the camera on the edge of the Turrialba crater in Costa Rica is working again.
And every 10 seconds it takes a shot. So I caught sunrise on the plumes.
Taking it as a positive omen.

"There's an old Mexican man sitting near the make up wagon. He's wearing beat up overalls, and half of his face looks like he's had acid trhown all over it. The makeup man is applying rubbery goo to make it look as if the skin were peeling away, and Spielberg runs over for a minute to check the guy out. "more burn, less red". And then he's back to the dustbowl. I introduce myself to the man, and he is charming. he turns to be a former opera singer and oldtime movie actor. He speaks four lenguages. we say a few words in French, and i can't wait to introduce him to Truffaut. He'll love this guy. As i turn to leave, the man asks if i like opera, and he starts to sing an aria in German, making wildly dramatic gestures (maybe wynderer actingskills). I am transfixed by the sight of this sweet old man with burn make up all over his face, singing his heart out in the middle of the Mojave Desert."

I am wondering why bother with all that health stuff. A few years grace?

Don't mind me, just thinking out loud. Pass the oats please Anchor.......

I think 95% is mental attitude! Throw in a few dark leafy vegetables! My mother smoked Pall Mall unfiltered cigarettes till she passed away at 89!

And that is indeed the key.

Unfiltered....and natural tobacco, no additives. (safest combination)

The filters are the 'kill', via the micro particles of (fiber)glass that get into the lungs and cause the lesions which try to heal..and the developing cells are disturbed by the complex chemical stew....and some finally go bad, in a way that is not detected by the body's immune systems as being incorrect and thus killed by said immune system....and this becomes 'cancer'. A self replicating cell with non shortening telomeres....that the body does not recognize as being a threat.

basically we have cells that go bad all the time, when they should not. This is due to the falsified and artificial environmental crap around us..and the body does indeed, in some cases get cancer and and then kill it....without us ever knowing it. Smoking is a form of Russian roulette, as is any addiction or consuming or involvement with complex chemical stews that man made organic materials brings to the table. If in such an environment...it is only a matter of time where the body will finally get a mutation it does not recognize and kill. this is why people who have aids..when they get a bone marrow transplant..their 'aids' dies off. Those who get addicted to injecting stuff into their body, into the blood stream, take a look at their skin sometime. that condition is throughout their entire body mass. the body dealing with alien material and complex chemical intrusion into the essential fluids and organs.

Look at the skin of the woman who is in the image. Same thing. system slows down, skin spots emerge, and so on. Except the addicts do it to themselves in their younger years and thus damage their 'tries' at the coming (unstoppable) age/time of Russian roulette (as we age, we move into it)....by loading too many bullets into the gun at too young an age.

It's an awareness and numbers game. Don't overtax one's given body and metabolism, eat right, correct environment, and so on. Know your family's history and genetics on this game of chance... and play your cards right.

Not exactly the correct descriptive.....but something akin to that.

The exact time of our death is already clocked into the body, and nothing can change that. What we can change is the quality of life that we do have in the meantime between birth and death, and the best way to insure optimum quality that anyone has come up with so far is:

right view, right aspiration, right speech, right action, right livelihood, right effort, right mindfulness, right concentration.

Right view is humility.

Right aspiration is intention + attention for the best outcome for all.

Right speech is honesty.

Right action is doing the right thing, and each one knows what that is at any given moment. Nobody has to tell us.

Right livelihood is letting the beauty we love be what we do.

Right effort is selfless service to all sentient beings, not harming. This includes not harming oneself with pollutants and addictions, in whatever form they may present themselves.

Right mindfulness is: once awake to what's true, don't fall back to sleep, indulging in unconscious habitual reactivity, such as greed, envy, intolerance, hatred, resentment, arrogance, or negativity.

Right concentration is single-minded inquiry into the essence of mind, original nature, primordial identity.

Speaking of Dresden and Pall Mall unfiltered cigarets, here's a synchronicity. Kurt Vonnegut, whose book Schlachthaus Funf/Slaughterhouse Five is based on the Allied atrocity that was the Dresden firebombing, smoked Pall Mall unfiltered and lived to be 84.

I visited Dresden once on my way to Prague. Very beautiful city. Also, I've given up cigarets......because I can't afford American Spirits and I won't smoke anything else (maybe a Seneca when I get to hang out with a certain someone ;)). Lately, I've gone back to my pipe. A local store sells an ounce of good pipe tobacco for $3. Meeradas, I miss rolling my own shaggies, but you can't get that good Dutch shag around here. Van Nelle and Javaanse Jongens were my favorites when I used to be across the sea.

Good Evening and Cheers everyone!

Hey Bob, I've never heard of Serpent Power before, thanks for sharing. The electric banjo, towards the end of the song, sounds very sitar-like. Pretty cool! One of my favorite albums is "A Meeting By The River" by Ry Cooder (I'm a HUGE Ry Cooder fan) and Vishwa Mohan Bhatt from 1993. The album blends Mississippi Delta blues and classical Indian Sitar and tabla music. Here's a good track:

Cool! I go that album, too. I also really dig Chavez Ravine. Onda Callejera is such a beautiful song: FBOr1z06N7o

What blows my mind about Ry is his mastery of Mississippi Hill Country blues typified by RL Burnside and Junior Kimbrough (which is basically a single key droning stomp), not the more popular MS Delta blues (Charlie Patton, Son House, Robert Johnson) at such an early age at the age of 18 in '66/'67 he was recruited by Captain Beefheart to produce the MS Hill blues sound, because he couldn't find any other guitarists in L.A. who could do it. In this video from Cannes in '68, Ry Cooder is on (beach) stage left in the dark suit:

And in this one too, "Hardworking Man" (BTW, I don't quite get the video that goes along with the song)

I have to post this, too many syncs not to. Moon(rise), Bill Murray, a storm a-brewin', New England (that's just my sync)... and besides, I just love Bill Murray.
Here ya go...

m-8OOvf1NPY

Film synopsis from YouTube: Set on an island off the coast of New England in the summer of 1965, MOONRISE KINGDOM tells the story of two twelve-year-olds who fall in love, make a secret pact, and run away together into the wilderness. As various authorities try to hunt them down, a violent storm is brewing off-shore -- and the peaceful island community is turned upside down in more ways than anyone can handle. Bruce Willis plays the local sheriff. Edward Norton is a Khaki Scout troop leader. Bill Murray and Frances McDormand portray the young girl's parents.

Wishing you all peace and love today. I'm heading out to work.

My quote to live by today!

Let today be a day where you take nothing for granted. For life is fleeting, fragile and precious and can change on a whim. Say all the things you really want to say to your loved ones today, say the things you would regret should they pass on and your words remain unspoken. Rejoice, for you and they are alive today - and should you or them pass on to unknown shores, rejoice even more for you have a wonderful love story to tell............Jackson Kiddard

Mission: To Wage Peace!

CODEPINK: Women For Peace
CODEPINK in Tampa showing off our vagina costumes in preparation for this week's GOP2012 events! Photo credit: Jessica Wilt

CODEPINK is a women-initiated grassroots peace and social justice movement working to end U.S. funded wars and occupations, to challenge militarism globally, and to redirect our resources into health care, education, green jobs and other life-affirming activities. The name CODEPINK satirized the Bush Administration's color-coded, fear-mongering "security" alert system that has since been phased out. CODEPINK is a lively call for the people of the world to "wage peace."

THE SUN CAME OUT LAST NIGHT AND SANG TO ME

From 4:31

I really enjoyed the introduction to encounter of the third kind. I like it when there is many languages and I see the translation but do not need to read, this makes for a weird brain shifting (not only the language shifts, but also the feelings and cultural understandings, all within seconds), I like the sensation.

I don't know if I am wrong, but except for today's anorexic actresses, everybody iin this movie seems much slimmer to me than in todays movies..... must be an illusion lol.

Here my final meditation report:

I had my firts week at the retreat center in the Finger Lakes region. We were in silence all day but were having 1h1/2 per day discussion. It took me one week to wind down enough to be able to have sparks of meditation. I do need practice. My mind was much more quiet though.

Big insights, no, but all kind of small insiights. About life, about love, about spirituality, about training, etc. The schedules were tight yete easy: wake up, meditation, one hour and half chores, meditation, lunch, brake, meditation, dinner, brake, meditration, sleep.

THere were more men than women (for once lol). I was surprised, during the discussions, at the quality of people there, the discussion were high level, although in slow motion (obiviously everyone was winding down). It went from thought appearances and disappearances to need for conrol and how "non necessary" it gets when we live in the flow to how even very difficult and tiring situations are not burdensome when managed through love, etc.

What surprised me is that all these guys/women were sometimes way overdoing me in being in the head. Some of theirs ways were very much in the mind and brain. I even said at one point that our brains are insane and the answers are not to be found there.

I truly enjoyed and will repeat this kind of very busy non activity.

The second week were open and not in silence except for those who wanted. So we split the space into talking and silence places. Only one person decided to keep silent whcih was obviously repsected by all. We remained about 6 visiitors with the staff. One from New Orleans, one from originally Calirfornia but now Kyoto, one from Virginia and one from New York and me. The silent one was Canadian as well. This was a real nice mix of people with lots of exchange on spirituality, living, etc.

The staff members were absolutely great. I truly enjoyed their presence. A Nicaraguan women was in charge of the kitchen. What a wonderful being. The liking was instantaneous. The receptionist/administrator will be coming to visit my city in November for a week. I made quite a few new firiends.

What I realised and appreciated the most is that there were no games, no obligation to be conforming to any ways (except for schedules, and having to do 1 hour chore, but no inner obligation), and whatever, whoever you were, there was full acceptance, in fact enjoyement of each other as they are. I felt I could be myself 100% and it was alright and even more, appreciated. I almost never feel this in the outside world, like in work etc. This was a very soft landing and I needed it deeply. What a lovely bunch. And I am full of thanks for them.

So, being myself, and not having been able to really cook for the last fifteen years, because of lack of time being busy making money and being a single mom taking care of my little one now bigger, I started cooking on the second week for about 8 people, sometimes 10. I truly enjoyed it, it gave me the taste to redo it at home.

What I did

Red Lentil soup in a tomato base with lots of garlic, bit of oinion, everything slighty cooked in butter, add tomatoe paste, then adding water, cook for 10 minute, take off the stove and put in blender of hand blender, put in back on stove and cood for another 10 minutes, add salt, pepper to taste and sprinkle with 3-4 pinches of hot pepper. They loved it.

Bôrek: you can take special dough that do not exist in small localities so I replaces by filo (philo) dough, you take the sheets, one by one, and paste them with a mix of mild, 1/2 egg, butter (not too much butter because it will make the dough too heavy), paste every sheet one after the other, on top of each other, 10 sheets about on the bottom, ten on top. The filling in the middle is made with feta cheese (the best brand I love is bulgarian feta, but if not use what you have), make in in small crumbs, mash it with fresh dill (I did put some coriander in it, but it is not necessary) and eggs. Make a paste and fill in the middle of the bôrek. Cook at 350 F until the dough is golden and fluffy. Eat.

Bean salad: I ddi it with 2 kinds of beans I had handy, kidney beans and black beans, but it is better if you have white beans. Mix beanx with cut vvegetables, such as cucumber, tomatoes, coriander, celery, red onions (quite a lot - has to be red otherwise not good raw), green and red peppers, skin of yellow zuchinis for color, shallops (green onion). The sauce: olive oil (make sure it is not rancid, it should not smell any bitter) apple cider vinegar, dijon mustard, pinches of hot pepper, salt, fresh garlic, sugar. The secret is in the sugar (recipe books do not tell you usually).

Amd more...

I truly enjoy cooking for others.

Then I went to see my great long time friend in New Hampshire. We had a few days together at her home. I love her dearly and also truly appreciate her husband - he is not only quite nice but handsome, so pleasant to look at - I may find time to look more once back in town, It seems that a need is showing up, I did miss it, lol

I almost lost my friend to cancer last year so I am very happy to be able to enjoy time with her.

Since thursday night I am on the sea in New Hampshire. I needed the sea smell and exposure, very good. I still see my friend in day time, she comes here, we went to shop yesterday (ouch to the wallet) at Kittery outlets and I am back on the beach today. I will probalby enjoy the afternoon with my friend if she is not too much in pain (remnant of cancer treatment). We may also go on their motorcycles for a ride. Youpi.

My daughter is doing fine in Montreal, enjoying, for the first time, to be at her father's (she saw him previously but never enjoyed staying with him, I guess she is groiwng and do not mind too much his ways). She says she really want to be back home though.

So everything is fine, going back home on wednesday and looking for contracts to make money.

However, I did something different: i wrote and taped 20 minutes self hypnosis session relating to spiritual development, my inner needs, the needs of my body for better health (loosing weight amongst other), and to find the work environment and actrivities I should be doing to be of help for everyone including me and my daughter, but having decision starting with the inner being instead of survival needs. I will try it a few days and most probably change the parts were it is not working well. I already noticed that when i gave suggestions for work my voice pace is much faster lol, I may revise this part.

To everyone:

I often read your posts here, truly enjoy them and do much learning, love this thread, I wanted you all to know how great it is to read you even if I do not participate much.

Love to all of you

I'll soon be through with the translation for the synchronisation of David Wilcock's 'Source Field Investigations' presentation and as I'm doing this, I take a closer look at a lot of things he mentions and look it all up, not only words for translation but also if it actually makes sense. Not least because David had some bloopers, that had already been adressed by an on-screen message when they put out the video, but for instance at one point he talks about Akhenaten's daughter Amarna. I could find nothing about that, Amarna is actually a city. And when he talks about King Tut he acts surprised, that he has this big head and doesn't mention, that Tut in turn is Akhenaten's son, at least that's what they say on Wikipedia.

Don't get me wrong, I like the presentation, that's why I do this translation/synchronisation, and I also understand some things he talks about more clearly as I go over it again.

What would your life be like if you bundled up the issue of religion, spirituality, and all beliefs thereof, and consigned the whole shebang to the chill-out room, while you continued on with your life without them? Fact is, the more one tries to resolve all this stuff with the mind, the further away they get from the truth at the core of the matter.

"When you don't require anything from the world and nothing from God, when you don't desire anything, when you don't strive for anything, don't expect anything, the divine will enter you, unasked and unexpected. The wish for truth is the best of all wishes, but it's still a wish. All wishes must be given up, that the truth can enter your life."

I have purged so many old, useless beliefs that I now realize I have no context for anything. No way to communicate. I am awkward saying thank you or trying to begin and end experiences because calling on and demanding and invoking and...well actually everything I can come up with just doesn't feel right. You know what feels right?

"Um, excuse me, may I please......or sorry to bother you......or would you please"

That doesn't seem to fit quite right.

Bet this makes no sense, though it is my best attempt.

No frame of reference, no reference to frame -- this is the womb of awakening. Just persist there, without bowing to the urge to add some mental fabrication (ie belief) to your present raw experience, and then let what is reveal itself, withour artifice or force. When we try and put some conditional structure/meaning to it, so that the mind can wrap itself around it, we've only separated ourselves from the essence of it, and it is only by directly experiencing the essence of it that you will come to peace.

Blessings!

Blessings!

Much Love,

Actually, (I think) it made perfect sense to me - lets see if this confirms it.

Eitherway, it triggered some musing while I have my morning coffee :)

This need to "follow a program" is itself a construct, and one that appears necessary depending on who you are talking too.

The program being the "rules of engagement", "social custom and protocol" etc.

Ideally, one simply needs to utter the words that need uttering, and if words do not need uttering, then silence is allowed in the undisturbed moment.

Silence is comfortable for some but not others - what is the difference?

Unless we find other ways to do it, we are limited to communicate using gestures and/or spoken words, or written words.

The modes of delivery and the way we engage in communication (energy exchange) is small, unsophisticated, limited, simple; yet at the same time can be the greatest power for change known to incarnate man.

"In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God."
- John 1:1

The way we do it, we convert thought to sound, image, movement or text, and by seeing/reading/hearing it it is converted by the other-selves into an approximation of the thought of the utterer.

Such room for error, such limitation - but yet, if skillfully done, capable of such transforming power.

I love you all so. No judgment. Just a sigh of relief at being understood when I wasn't sure that was possible ;)

Yes, all of you are totally spot on. Yes, your context and reference point are perfect. Yes, your ability to verbalize the urge to follow a program. Yes, the need to be still in the uncomfortable in-between.

My mind has apparently gone into overdrive, probably doing its best to fight my inner growth into a place where it is neither needed nor wanted.

Silence and stillness are utterly beautiful, and when I can truly hear and feel and experience and connect. I do not know how the silence and stillness come to be, and now I know that I do not want to analyze that. When they come, I will give in to them. When they are not here, I will try to utilize my mind for what it is good at. And I will try, also, to live in each as it happens until such point I am able to recreate the silence and stillness at will. But, I will not keep trying to figure it out.

I appreciate you all!

Hey Bob, I had a wild dream last night that I visited you in my truck, only that you lived in the city of Ashland, Benton County, Mississippi, a very small rural community in the north of MS bordering Tennessee. I was in Ashland for work (which I actually have to visit this week for work in real life). You had two houses on the same property with dogs and cats. I dropped by to say hello, and you proceeded to load my truck with all sorts of weird knick knack and things. Before leaving, you sat down in your carport in an asana position, legs crossed, the right hand resting on your knee, and your left hand held palm up, extended, with a flower in it. You meditated and said a prayer, then got in my truck behind the wheel and told me to get in. Ha! Crazy dream!

And I will try, also, to live in each as it happens until such point I am able to recreate the silence and stillness at will. But, I will not keep trying to figure it out.

Pondering this further on my lunch break.

As I think and perceive from this incarnate perspective, I am aware of two main things: that which is without and that which is within. The sum of these two being one, which is all that there is.

When I create a thought that manifests as a word, with that word I bridge the gap between the within and without - because something that was created in that which I know as my inner world, has gone into that which is outside of that, into what we ironically call reality.

By means of a combination of intellect and faith, I build a scaffold framework that abstracts around the self imposed mental limits of my experience of third density incarnation and its problems with conceptualizing and working with infinity.

This is a working framework that assures me, without really knowing it in an empirically demonstrable way, that the outer reality a reflection of the inner reality

Thus with each thought that becomes manifest, I create change in the outer world, and so it goes on.

When I choose a period of metaphysical silence, however short, my inner world ceases to affect the outer world.

For that moment of silence the inner and the outer merely exist and there is no binding or connection between them. The only way, I think that was ever possible is that the outer world was illusion in the first place. The only real world is that which is within, and one approaches it in silence.

In that silence the outer is not disturbed. No pebbles of thought are cast into the lake of the outer world. No pebbles to cause ripples of cause and effect, no energy that causes the wheel of karma to turn.

And when this happens the inner simply reflects on the inner, and the outer, for a time, passes into stillness - and in stillness, it may as well not be there.

John..

These are pictures of a local Red Headed Woodpecker that was recently hit by a passing truck and it landed in the back of my pickup -it was only stunned by the impact. I put it in a box and held it until it could fly. Now I have the whole flock of them around the property. Sometimes, when I take walks they following along lining the telephone wires or sit in a branch of a tree flutter their wings and sing.

I've been trying to distract my-self from all of the earthquakes we have been having here in SoCal and in the upper Baja. I used to go boating, fishing and snorkeling on the western side of the Sea of Cortez in the Gulf of California. Absolutely beautiful and mysterious place.

I didn't take this picture, but this is the area. Sunrise from the upper bays,

Much Love,

Good, good, good. Everything is going well then, 1inMany. :)

I speak very little these days to people. There's a desire within just to keep very quiet. When this process of losing my old beliefs and reference points I found it very difficult and awkward to speak with people.

They would ask me questions like "how are you?" or "what have you been up to?" and I would stand there dumbstuck not knowing how to even answer those questions anymore. "how am I?" - I didn't know what that meant any more. I remembered how I used to feel like happy or sad but that was no longer relevent for me.

The conversations with people got very awkward and although my inner desire was just to be silent I ended up forcing myself to speak and faking responses to people just so that they didn't look at me with that awkward or disappointed look.

But the faking of it didn't last long and I got to the point where I just couldn't do that anymore. So these days I am just usually very quiet.......and of course, that disappoints and lets other people down. The awakening itself is indiscriminate. It does not care if other people find it odd, awkward, uncomfortable or disappointing because the illusory me is falling away. Fluffy pink clouds, bunny rabbits and love and light it is not!

All this said, there is something very much deeper here that is happening. What I am saying is do not worry if you can no longer do/say/think things that you used to.

There are always moements when one feels empty and estranged. Such moements are most desirable for it means the soul has cast its morrings and is sailing for distant places. This is detachment when the old is over and the new has not yet come.

If you are afraid, this state may be distressing; but there really is nothing to be afraid of. Remember the instructions: whatever you come across - go beyond.

Actually, it serves people, because something awake is being inserted into their dream, and though subtle, it will do its work in the long term, even though they won't be aware. It's like the opposite of "knock-out drops". :-)

What I am saying is do not worry if you can no longer do/say/think things that you used to.

That turns out to be a temporary phase. In Zen, there is a system of assessing one's level of awakening called Tozan's 5 Ranks, which I mentioned here some time ago. In the first rank, or phase, one can't say much at all about it -- their words have vanished. Later on, they become more loquacious, hehehe . . .

whatever you come across - go beyond.

Here and now, with Hurricane Isaac imminent, I am amused by the obvious effort of news outlets not to mention Mississippi in their reports. MS has endured Camille, Fredrick, Elena, Georges, Ivan and Katrina in just the past 43 years. But yet, we are that little landmass between Mobile and New Orleans.

Check out these short clips. In the first video, the news lady completely omits MS from the map by reporting that Isaac will likely hit along the border of Louisiana and Alabama! Ha! Either these people need some serious geography lessons or there is some obvious misdirection going on here. (P.S. Shepard Smith is from MS).

Lastly, that's why I encourage everyone to send their intent and will for the dissipation and weakening of the structure of the current hurricane, Isaac. Katrina ain't gonna happen again.

I am more worried about the storm surge hitting New Orleans. That's what they're shooting for. We should work on disorganizing the system, and pulling it up on land before it gains any more strength. I do greatly appreciate the thoughts! Shooting straight lines of energy through the spiral energies seems to work for keeping the coherence down.

Exactly, BC, and well put, PL. A huge storm that will arrive, no stopping that, but it's not going to be catastrophic. I really didn't intend to invoke fear in anyway with the earlier post, or allude another Katrina. If anything I meant to get across my general amusement at the media coverage. Still, good will and positive vibes being directed at the storm's structure will act against the gloom and doom vibes the media is trying to conjure. :wizard:

Comments? I'm not even at the stage yet to care ... I just need to get off my ass and do more. I know what I am capable of - My tragedy is that I do very little of anything, but I find an alleviation whenever I view your son's work. I grew up with Heavy Metal magazine -- mostly for the art (isn't that what we all say?), but the stories quickly grew on me as well. Due to my absolutely unbelievable imagination as a child - sci-fi-ish themes have a certain comfort to me. Again, Thanks for reminding me of your son's works.

And thanks for the compliments ;)

I spent the last hour making 4 new soap molds. That may not sound terribly exciting, but it's a very satisfying ending to the day for me. Okay, I 'fess up ... I'm the lucky recipient of Reiki from 1inMany. It was amazing, I could feel a lift and a change from where I'd been, and then got a text telling me energy had been sent from her.

Vegetable soap sticks to anything, and the best way I've found to release it is plastic liners. I have to make 'em myself, and peel them off the soap each time, washing and re-taping each time. Tedious and time consuming. Still, better than a block of soap stuck to a wooden mold. It's tricky to get them exactly straight and fitting into the mold without 'waves' that make divets in the sides of the soap block. After awhile, the plastic stretches and even well done molds get wavy.

Here's my hour's labor:

Tomorrow, I'll be making four batches of soap without divets on the sides. : )

May all beings be happy. May they live in safety and joy. All living beings, whether weak or strong, tall or short, seen or unseen, near or distant, born or to be born, may they all be happy. Let no one deceive another or despise any being in any state, let none by anger or hatred wish harm to another.

As a mother watches over her child, willing to risk her own life to protect her only child, so with a boundless heart should one cherish all living beings, suffusing the whole world with unobstructed loving-kindness.

Sabrina's post #1517 on South America, Assange, and the fallout of Wikileaks disclosure is a must read.

Here is an excerpt:

"Assange has become public enemy number one of the great powers since he has gained the classified records of these long conversations about how to cripple the economies of South America, how to take away their energy resources and prevent their recovery; how to prevent their governments from pushing through Keynesian economic plans instead of applying the dictates of the IMF, whose sole purpose is to pursue a neo-colonialist policy principally for the benefit of Spain, Italy and Germany, with British capital.

Most files have already been published on the internet. Those and others were handed over by Assange in Britain to the Ecuadorian ambassador there.

On August 3 in New York, Ecuador became the first nation in the Americas and only nation in the Western world since 1948, to apply the concept of “immoral debt” or the political and technical refusal to pay foreign debts because they were made by previous governments through corruption, in violation of constitutional laws and requirements."

Marianne, I can appreciate your efforts in making a non stick mold for your soap, being a fellow soap maker for 34 years now, I have not bought a commercial bar of soap since I began making my own. I love the creativity of it and get lost in the alchemy of it, it feeds my soul, and so good for your body and spirit! I've always just lined my wooden molds with freezer paper, which to me is always the most tedious part of the whole process. After all these years I am taking this hobby to the next level and am going to try marketing and selling it.It'll be a local thing and hopefully will allow me to keep buying oils to feed this addiction of mine. I just spent lots of $ on organic oils and want to make it organic. Next is designing a logo and a label, which is way more difficult than making the soap! I have some ideas I am playing around with.

And by the way, I just stumbled upon this thread and I love it. You folks have such a great energy here!

Hi Lisalu, welcome to the thread!

Yes, soap making is creative alchemy... it feels magical to me, even after all these years. Best of luck on your business venture of selling it. I think you will do well if you emphasize your soap is natural and organic. Even with lots of natural looking soap out there, I don't often see one that's truly good for skin and body. Either some additive, or not using real essential oils but cheaper fragrance oil, or melt-n-pour glycerin soap which isn't the same product at all.

I have tried freezer paper too, and I guess it's 6 of one, half dozen of the other as far as the tedium involved. I wondered about the plastic against the soap, whether some molecules would get transferred onto the soap. I have customers with very sensitive skin, and no one has had an adverse reaction. If I were going 100% organic, I might look at freezer paper again. Do you use a pattern to cut the paper so it folds easily into the mold shape?

My mom and grandmom and farther back, have always made what they call 'lye soap' for laundry and household cleaning. In the fall they'd make it in the backyard in a cauldron over a fire. (They canned food the same way). Enough to last the year, I remember seeing stacks of brown bars under the sink. Kinda like Fels-Naptha used to be before it was gussied-up.

It was a different process than my cold method. They used any sort of fat they had, including rendered bacon fat. Which made it interesting, and always different.

Hope to see you here some more!

I think we were both inspired by our grandmothers! Mine too made her soap from left over cooking fat and her soap was brown and used only on your hands. when I began making it back in the late 70's I used beef tallow and rendered it down in the oven. It made great soap and was very clean( white) but then the times changed and animal fats weren't cool to use anymore and I switched over to using vegetable oils, and stopped eating meat for that matter.( for a spell) I hear what your saying about the additives and not being pure etc., I only use essential oils and natural coloring if I want to color it. have never done the melt and pour cheatin method. I always wanted to try doing it the way they did 200 years or so ago by making your own caustic agent by using wood ashes, I would imagine it would be a crap shoot as to the strength and amounts to use. maybe a fun experiment though.

“Look, here is a tree in the garden and every summer it produces apples, and we call it an apple tree because the tree "apples." That's what it does. Alright, now here is a solar system inside a galaxy, and one of the peculiarities of this solar system is that at least on the planet earth, the thing peoples! In just the same way that an apple tree apples!

What I am really saying is that you don’t need to do anything, because if you see yourself in the correct way, you are all as much extraordinary phenomenon of Nature as trees, clouds, the patterns in running water, the flickering of fire, the arrangement of the stars, and the form of a galaxy. You are all just like that, and there is nothing wrong with you at all.”

Has it occurred to you that the mathematical probability
of your being here is infinitesimal? Were you not

What is actually happening requires all of biological life
to convey its meaning.
Words can symbolize this, but hardly portray it fully

On the topic of soaps ...

When I went to BC last year for my vacation, I stopped at a tiny consignment store in a tiny town on my way back to Calgary. I picked up a bar of hempseed oil soap that was locally handmade (not by the store owner but by someone in another close by town). I can't express how happy I was with that bar of soap! It was just incredible, didn't dry the skin and had a most wonderful aroma (a blend of some type). After it ran out (but surprisingly it lasted much longer than store bought soaps), I was saddened, and had meant to hunt around Calgary again for some natural soap, but it went out of mind after a while.

This year, I stopped back in at that little store and bought $50 worth (about 2/3 of their stock ;-), a combination of hempseed oil and olive oil soaps. I have to say though that after trying both - the hempseed oil soap is way better (well maybe just for my skin type - oily). I found it cleaned a little better and left less oils on my skin after. I also noticed that my open pores are now closed and I have no blackheads anymore, and my skin feels softer than ever (As a guy, I never really cared about my skin so this is somewhat a new excitement for me ;) I've also been taking supplemental MSM so that may also be contributing to the nice skin)

So if the soapmakers here haven't tried hempseed oil - it may be worth a try. I also talked to my sister who bought a bar of each and she concurred with my findings.

Here's the website for the soapmaker - maybe there's ideas in here ... There's also instructions on this site for making your own natural shampoo!

O.... M.... F.... G....

I just read the "reading" part. Now, for me, there wasn't anything much in there I didn't know already - but I read it all. What stopped me dead in my tracks in astonishment is the language used. Anyone who has read any of my own "higher" inspired commentary might like to compare. He even uses "actions thoughts and deeds" which is a part of my daily/frequent manifestation word-vision for the new world, his sentence structure and pacing are uncanny. When I read it I was hearing my own "inside" voice - the resonance was awesome. I had printed it out, without the pictures - just the text. I was reading it a noisy restaurant. Everything disappeared for a moment and it was just me, my table, my food and the reading.

However, in order to prepare for this, there must be a full assessment of thoughts, actions and deeds taken throughout the continuum of lifetimes one has experienced.

Thanks for the reference, I thoroughly enjoyed the experience of reading this material.

Me thinks that David W's higher self and mine have rather a lot in common - LOL

Here is the manifestation word vision I referred to earlier

I live in a world where each person takes full responsibility for each of their actions, thoughts and deeds.
I live in a world where each person lives in harmony with themselves and each of their other selves, and in harmony with nature, Gaia and all her creatures and kingdoms - and ultimately the entire universe.
I live in a world where the tyrants and troublemakers have left never to return.
I live in a world that is restored to its pristine vitality and beauty.
For the highest and best good of all, make it so.
I am human becoming, help me to become.
We are humans becoming, help us to become.
They are humans becoming, help them to become.
--
--

Update: I'd like to apologize for letting my ego get quite a lot out of the closet above, but I am still stoked by what I experienced reading it.

The village is a little slow tonight....

Friday is the Blue Moon of August and
in celebration here is some lore, astrology, science, art and mysticism of this ethereal phenomena

18036

The sorts of moons people commonly call Blue Moons aren’t usually blue. For more about truly blue-colored moons, click here (http://www.spaceweather.com/glossary/bluemoonstories.html). Now on to folklore’s Blue Moons. Every month typically has a full moon (http://earthsky.org/tonightpost/moon-phases/full-moon) (although sometimes February doesn’t). In fact, our word for “month” comes from the word “moon.” Most of the time, the names for full moons coincide with particular months or seasons of the year. So whether you define a Blue Moon as the second full moon in a month – or the third full moon of four in a season – the name Blue Moon accounts for times when there are more full moons than is ordinary.
Blue moon as second full moon in a month. In recent decades, many people have begun using the name Blue Moon to describe the second full moon of a calendar month.
The time between one full moon and the next is close to the length of a calendar month. So the only time one month can have two full moons is when the first full moon happens in the first few days of the month. This happens every 2-3 years, so these sorts of Blue Moons come about that often.
When is the next Blue Moon, according to this first definition? August 31, 2012.

18035

Another beautiful image by our friend Jv Noriega – the moon among fast-moving clouds. Will the August 31 full moon be blue in color like this? No. This image was made using blue filters, too. Thank you, Jv!

The idea of a Blue Moon as the second full moon in a month stemmed from the March 1946 issue of Sky and Telescope magazine, which contained an article called “Once in a Blue Moon” by James Hugh Pruett. Pruett was using a 1937 Maine Farmer’s Almanac, but he simplified the definition. He wrote:
Seven times in 19 years there were — and still are — 13 full moons in a year. This gives 11 months with one full moon each and one with two. This second in a month, so I interpret it, was called Blue Moon.
EarthSky’s Deborah Byrd (http://earthsky.org/aboutpost/deborah-byrd) happened upon a copy of this old 1946 issue of Sky and Telescope in the stacks of the Peridier Library at the University of Texas Astronomy Department in the late 1970s. Afterward, she began using the term Blue Moon to describe the second full moon in a calendar month on the radio. Later, this definition of Blue Moon was also popularized by a book for children by Margot McLoon-Basta and Alice Sigel, called “Kids’ World Almanac of Records and Facts,” published in New York by World Almanac Publications, in 1985. The second-full-moon-in-a-month definition was also used in the board game Trivial Pursuit.
Can there be two blue moons in a single calendar year? Yes. It last happened in 1999. There were two full moons in January and two full moons in March and no full moon in February. So both January and March had Blue Moons.
The next year of double blue moons is coming up in 2018.

Blue moon as third full moon of four in a season. The Old Farmer’s Almanac defined a Blue Moon as an extra full moon that occurred in a season. One season – winter, spring, fall, summer – typically has three full moons. If a season has four full moons, then the third full moon may be called a Blue Moon.
The next blue moon by this definition will fall on August 21, 2013.
In recent years, a controversy has raged – mainly among purists – about which Blue Moon definition is better. The idea of a Blue Moon as the third of four in a season may be older than the idea of a Blue Moon as the second full moon in a month. Is it better? Is one definition right and the other wrong? After all, this is folklore. So the folk get to decide, and, in the 21st century, both sorts of full moons have been called Blue.
As the folklorist Phillip Hiscock wrote in his comprehensive article Folklore of the Blue Moon (http://www.ips-planetarium.org/planetarian/articles/folkloreBlueMoon.html): Old folklore it is not, but real folklore it is.
So enjoy Blue Moons!
Bottom line: A blue-colored moon is rare. But folklore has defined two different kinds of Blue Moons. A Blue Moon can be the second full moon in a month. Or it can be the third of four full moons in a season. The full moon of August 31, 2012 will be considered a Blue Moon. http://earthsky.org/astronomy-essentials/when-is-the-next-blue-moon

18037

The Full Moon on August 31 is a rare blue moon. This means that we get two full moons in a month, this happens every two or three years. This Blue Moon will be at 8º Pisces on the fixed star Skat in constellation Aquarius and conjunct Chiron (http://darkstarastrology.com/chiron/). The Blue moon has no astrological significance whatsoever, but like minor planet Eris, it does cause quite a stir. The extra blue moon gives us 13 moons in the course of a year instead of twelve. This complicates matters for monks calculating Christian holidays. So a Blue moon is an oddity, a misfit, and it annoys the pants off monks.. “Unlucky 13”, Ophiuchius (http://darkstarastrology.com/constellation-ophiuchus-13th-zodiac-sign-meaning/) the left-out 13th sign, Eris being the uninvited 13th fairy in Sleeping beauty. 13 is always the exiled, the unwanted and the one that doesn’t fit in.
This full moons aspects lend it self to the unusual and the eccentric because it is conjunct Chiron the centaur. Chiron too was a misfit, being the geek of the centaurs, while the rest were boozy, lusty louts. Chiron however, studied and became a tutor to the Greek mythical heroes. The full moons fixed star on Skat in Aquarius is not known for being conformist either and like Chiron, likes to spread knowledge.

The 18th Major Arcanum
image: a dog and a wolf baying at the rising moon by a body of water, or an owl flying beneath a full moon over water with swimming fish
Hebrew letter: Qoph
Divinatory meaning: delusion, the unknown, intuition
Path on the Tree of Life: the 29th path connecting Malkuth to Netzach.

Qabalistic Description. The 18th Key, the 29th Path. The Ruler of Flux and Reflux, the Child of the Sons of the Mighty. The path of the Moon connects Netzach and Malkuth. Qoph means the back of the head, i.e. the Subconscious. It is the path of Corporeal Intelligence, making physical life possible but also instigating the animal lusts and fantasies that must be relegated by the conscious mind.

Psychological Value. This card can be used to increase your power of reasoning and logic, and can enable you to change bad habits and to travel with ease. She helps you to be in touch with the feminine side that exists in every person, helping you to become well-adjusted to whatever society you live in. She also helps you to become more creative, but also cautious and thrifty. She can help you change the circumstances that hold you back from realizing your goals.
This Arcanum represents the unconscious part of your psyche. The Moon corresponds to different Divinities which are frequently linked to different phases. Thus, the Moon may be associated with both Artemis and Hecate. In her character, Hecate summarizes the characteristics of the Moon; the Earth, the subterranean, and the realm of shadows. She is associated with magic, mysteries and occult powers. She is the original power present in your unconscious which creates all mental forms and brings the manifest world into existence.
She helps you to think about the relatedness of things; to move from one thing to the next and see the relationship among things, ideas and places that sometimes seem far apart. Hecate is a symbol of your memory; the sum of your experiences in their entirety. This ability to remember is a source of wealth, but it can also immobilize you if you become stuck in the past. As a result of the fact that she represents both past and present in its entirety, she symbolizes the nourishing, maternal and protective aspects of consciousness. The character of the Moon by-passes the use of logical analysis. She represents that knowledge that remains hidden from those whose heart is impure. DEFINITIONS
Blue Moon: The earliest reference to the concept of a Blue Moon appeared in 1528, where it simply meant something absurd or impossible. Later, because of a difference between the physical world and the Catholic church’s calendar, an extra full moon occasionally appeared at the “wrong” time. They referred to this as a “betrayer” moon, and in Middle English, the word for “betray” sounds similar to “blue.” By the 19th century, a Blue Moon was associated to the seasons. Each season—summer, fall, winter, and spring—generally lasts three months, meaning that there are usually three full moons during a season. Because a solar year does not coincide with the lunar year, occasionally a season will have four full moons. When this occurs the third full moon of the season is called a Blue Moon. In 1946, Sky and Telescope magazine ran an article that misinterpreted the seasonal understanding, and stated that in any month of the calendar year that has two full moons, the second full moon was called a “Blue Moon.” This error caught on and is now the most popular interpretation for the source of the expression. Metaphorically, “once in a blue moon” means something that rarely happens. http://www.llewellyn.com/encyclopedia/term/Blue+Moon

Freyja: (German Fricco) of the Vanir: She is the Great Goddess, second only to Frigg. Her name means “The Lady.” The Goddess of the magic known as Seidhr (German Seith) which she taught to Odin, eroticism, physical well-being; She is the Queen of the Valkyries who choose those to be slain in battle and carry them to Valhalla. She is daughter of Njord, and twin sister to Freyr. She is also a warrior goddess of great wisdom and magick. She wears the sacred necklace Brisingamen, which she paid for by spending the night with the dwarves. She is married to Odr and her children are Hnoos and Gersemi. Hers is the magic of reading runes, trance & astral travel, and casting spells. She owns a falcon cloak, takes dove form, rides in a chariot drawn by two cats, or rides a boar. She weeps tears of gold, which become amber, called "Freya's Tears".

4:44 am here and just waking up. Too tired last night...and didn't have anything to contribute.

@Anchor,
while I was reading your post about DW and seeing the synchronicity you were talking about
the thought came to me that you and DW have been reading from the same source materials
and if not that, are telepathically tuned in to he same source.

And then while reading the last phrase it came back to me...
isn't all this from George Green's book...?
The Handbook of the New Paradigm?
It's been years since I read it and I don't have a copy handy.

The thing about responsibility for one's actions, words and deeds....
Its straight out of the mystery schools.
Many people aren't quite clear on this but once they understand it is life changing.
Many people feel ashamed for their thoughts and feelings
and some even feel that they are responsible for them...
Which then only creates more negativity in them than necessary.
Of course the ultimate goal would be to get that inner stuff sorted out as well, and meditation does work.

People are made up of instincts, feelings and thoughts (inner events) and words and deeds (outer events)
We can't be held responsible for our inner stuff, only that which emanates from us.

Feelings and thoughts arise from only God knows where... and not all are the results of our own habits or patterns...Much comes via telepathic antennae...
But words and deeds are the part where we had better know why and wherefore we are saying or doing them.
This is the trail we leave behind, even if we mumble to ourselves and no one can hear it...it's still an emanation.

The part that I've been fascinated with is about ALSO taking responsibility for what happens TO me, even if it appears random a first.
But since it appeared on the screen of my life, perceived by myself,
I can see it as an emanation of my subconscious mind...
as a message directed at my conscious mind to work with.
That then can lead to the ultimate unity of the outer and inner...

Not that I always respond, mind you, but at least I can reflect and ponder my non-responsiveness, hehe...

Attached is an extract of David Wilcock's 1-Dec-11 reading transcript done as a PDF will all the commentary and images removed. It has been formatted in two columns for easier reading. None of the "reading" was changed (I hope, I was pretty careful).

I would rate it at 90% on my good stuff resonator-o-matic - and that is pretty high. I think I can see a few Wilcockisms in there where he was not able to get all of himself out of the way, but I think he did a bang up job, and my thanks to PurpleLama for the reference as I had all but stopped visiting his site of late and would have missed it.

I just Love that Tom Lesher and his Pele report! He has such a great love filled energy! I look forward to hearing him every week. he's always uplifting and positive.
About that hempseed oil soap, yep, that has got to be my favorite soap to make, it's loaded with essential fatty acids which are so good for your skin. I wish I could find organic hemp oil ...affordable that is. hemp in itself is an amazing plant with so many benefits and uses. It really pisses me off that we can't grow it here in this country. It's insane, but what else is new? All the hemp oil I have bought for soap making has come Canada. Hmmmm...I should be making more of that, and selling it to the head shops, maybe with some crushed up hempseeds in it as an exfoliate.
We had the most amazing sunset here in Maine last night, and there I was without my camera. today looks like a repeat of yesterday and I will have my camera when we go up the hill to see that amazing display of color. The view was breath taking, if I can capture it this evening I will post it and share it.

Manifestation word vision
I live in a world where each person takes full responsibility for each of their actions, thoughts and deeds.
I live in a world where each person lives in harmony with themselves and each of their other selves, and in harmony with nature, Gaia and all her creatures and kingdoms - and ultimately the entire universe.
I live in a world where the tyrants and troublemakers have left never to return.
I live in a world that is restored to its pristine vitality and beauty.
For the highest and best good of all, make it so.
I am human becoming, help me to become.
We are humans becoming, help us to become.

I love this, thanks Anchor!

I needed this after my 36 year old daughter dropped her 4&6 year old sons off before she and her husband went to the Telluride CO film festival for 5 days. She had so much tension and fear built up in her. My little dog jumped up on the 6 year old giving him a barely visible scratch and you thought the world was coming to an end.

My 22 year old son told her to calm down, and all hell broke loose. My husband walked away and immediately sent reiki energy. I was caught in the middle and it felt like a war zone. I just kept telling my daughter to breath. They both ended up apologizing reluctantly after about 10 minutes. I am sure we all agreed to this energy otherwise it would not have manifested itself. i do wish enlightenment was readily available to all in abundance for a more loving interaction. Whew!!!!

They are humans becoming, help them to become!!

I also love the conversation on soaps. So back to old school basics. We all need a less chemically fill existence!

To all the beautiful souls in the village, have a beautiful day!

I color it pale green with chlorella powder. Adding the poppyseeds at the last moment when the soap is thick enough to suspend them throughout, makes it gorgeous.

Patchouli oil can be overwhelming if too much is used, but I noticed with a small amount, it smells fresh yet 'deep.'

Welcome to Lisalu .....................and Marriane, I've not made soap for a few years but it is something I really enjoyed. It kind of spoiled me with soap.....nothing beats a good natural soap fragranced with natural oils.

I have a Nizzy mold which I got from Australia. I think I used to line it with baking paper and I used to cut the liner the width of the mold but leave it longer on the length, so that two ends of the paper spilled out over the top edges. When the soap was ready it was really easy to lift up the two longer edges of paper and pull all the soaps out of the mold. The plastic dividers snap together, so they also come apart easily, making it easy to remove the soap and giving you sharp edges to the shape of the bars.

It's not cheap but washes up to be used again.

Well, the day is almost done. I'm so tired. Actually have been for a couple of days, just can't quite get enough. Been drinking salt water, eating vinegar (but not every day), and now taking Atomidine. I have to say, since the vinegar I have had very few stomach symptoms from anxiety. I have felt so much better. Emotionally and spiritually up and down, or as Ulli pointed out a while back, spiralling.

I am shocked, just shocked, at how well M is doing at school. This school is the best school we have attended. She loves the teachers, loves the environment. In my wildest dreams, I did not dream it would go this well. She did not go to school yesterday, had a bad day. I talked to the principal at the school, and we cheerfully discussed a couple of things that might help. Today, every single change we talked about had been implemented, and M was thrilled. It is not often a school walks the walks, though most talk the talk.

E is enjoying herself, but that is typical. She has a new friend, which is nice, and it is also a surprise in this small town. Maybe, just maybe, one day she will wake up liking to do math homework! She is very good at math, whether she feels confident is another issue. But, when she is finished with the school day, she does not have any motivation left to work.

Mike got the term sheet on Monday, as promised, from the California people. All concerned have until Wednesday to sign. I'm thinking this will be the deal that happens. And despite constant verbal and emotional abuse, Hubby is maintaining quite a positive outlook. Odd, but absolutely wonderful.

This was a chocolate chip cookie day. Very seldom do we eat cookies around here, I rarely buy them. I think we have had cookies once since I moved...about 6 months ago now. But every few months when the kids are in school, I will surprise the girls with a chocolate chip cookie day. Usually, I do this when I know it has been an especially difficult day for one of them, but today...it was just time. I had to throw in some peanut butter cookies too, just for good measure.

Happy Chocolate Chip Cookie Day, Village :)

Love,

Mark

Greetings, Villagers. Been a bit MIA, actually working. It's funny how things go. That guy Sira and I helped (http://projectavalon.net/forum4/showthread.php?36569-Life-Has-A-Way-of-Reminding-You-of-What-is-Important) some months ago when he had an aneurysm on our doorstep hired me to help him do some carpentry at a cottage on a lake. I'm thankful pops made me help him fix stuff. I learned tools and materials by fixing cars (back when you could, still) and banging on things on, in and around the houses we lived in growing up. It's good to be handy.

On another note, my son Noah needs the Village's help. He's got lymph node and biopsy issues and he's only 6. My mother had to tell me, his mother won't contact me. Any energy Villagers can send in support of his highest potentiality in this instance would be greatly appreciated.

I'm doing ok. I'm feeling quiet. Haven't written in a while, have nothing to say. The physical work all week has been therapeutic. Being in amazing physical environments has been humbling and a reminder of how beautiful this world is. If any of you ever get a chance to visit the Laurentian mountains of Quebec, don't miss it. Ulli,

Thanks for your post. I read it all when I saw it this morning and I think I agree it is possible; and I agree with all you said on responsibility.

isn't all this from George Green's book...?

Not all, I did start my recollection of manifestation mechanics when I read those books. The two phrases I use that came direct from them are

1) I am human becoming help me to become.

I added the WE and THEY versions.

I also learned the idea of a metaphysical equivalent of a stop-loss order from that book as well (2) "for the highest and best good of all".

The rest was a collaborative effort which started as a thread on the old project avalon.

My son had an enlarged lymph node at age six. (26 years ago)
I was really worried at the time.
There was talk about biopsy but fortunately it never came to that.
Can't remember the details too well, but in the end the diagnosis was whooping cough.
After a while the nodes went back to normal.
Anyhow, sending healing energies, and hope he will get better soon.

Sitting here listening to Jimmy Buffett with the current tropical air, wind, and rain coming down. It's rather pleasant in my area, no damage whatsoever, but my heart and prayers goes out to all those in Louisiana and Mississippi where people are suffering from the storm. And there is plenty of that, too.....

@ Lisalu: of all things that should be readily available and very cheap is hemp products. One day....

@ Eyes Wide Open: I'm a big Radiohead fan too. I once drove from Oxford, Mississippi to Washington D.C. to see Radiohead play for the first and only time. It was an outside concert and the field formed a natural amphitheater, a deep bowl of sorts. I heard but didn't see them play seven full songs in their soundcheck while waiting in line to enter the venue. We listened to the opening act, and in the short period of time between the sets, right before Radiohead came on, a torrential storm blew through and left the entire venue inundated in three feet of water with lightning popping dangerously around. And.......they canceled the show!!! What a bummer! We drove all that way and didn't get to see them. It was still fun because a lot of the fans got naked and started swimming and playing in the water when the sun came back out a while later. Oddly enough, that night, I had a strange E.T. visitation in a hotel room. I was honestly totally sober, and I was visited telepathically. I laid there in the bed with my girlfriend freaking out because I was rigid and speaking to something that she couldn't see. It told me that I was communicating with a distant cousin from the future, traveling back in time, and that most ET experience was such. Who knows..... Some wild sh!t. That's was the first other worldly experience that happened to me that made me realize something larger was going on.

For what it's worth......

I just finished watching an old "Star Trek" episode called "Bread and Circuses" - I found it astonishingly brilliant, subtle metaphors to the current earthly state (even more so now I think than in 1968).

The premise is that they find a planet exactly like earth in the 20th century, except that the "roman" government never fell - it carried on to the 20th century. -- I find this fascinating because, on earth I don't think the Roman government actually fell either, but became scattered and is now based out of England -- there's a few conspiracy theories that actually do support this. I think the writer (Gene) may have been hinting that earth is exactly the same as what they were portraying. A snide comment by Spock indicated this somewhat. Anyway - I found it to be a great episode; I now see much deeper meanings in the old Star Trek stories that I couldn't see before. Jim still got to make out with the hot alien chick - so it still has all the typical elements ;) ;)

"Please don't hurt others. Please try to work with people and be helpful to them. A fantastically large number of people need help. Please try to help them, for goodness sake, for heaven and earth. Don't just collect wisdoms one after the other. But go out and try to help others, if you can. That is the main point. Your help doesn't have to be a big deal. To begin with, just work with your friends and work with yourself at the same time. It is about time we became responsible for this world."

I find this fascinating because, on earth I don't think the Roman government actually fell either, but became scattered and is now based out of England

Dr. Joseph P. Farrell discusses this exact thing in his book "Babylon Banksters", and in his interview series of the same name with George Ann Hughes on The Byte Show. It's discussed in either episode three or four specifically. Basically he draws the migration of the elements within the Empire from Rome to Venice to Amsterdam and ultimately to London. Even more interesting, he draws the correlation of Chaldean, i.e. Babylonian, slaves that were brought to Rome and gradually freed and incorporated into administrative positions of the Roman Empire. He asserts that it is the contingency of Chaldean ancestry that ultimately operates the Empire financially, gradually through the centuries (if I understood the speculation correctly [I feel the need to 'hedge' here]). The point is that the ancient Babylon banking system was incorporated into the Empire through their influence, and it has continued onward. Incredibly intriguing research and speculation......

Also, another thought on Hurricane Isaac. It has wreaked havoc on the lives of many. I pray for soulagement of the masses affected. But also, as the system moves north and provides rain/life for the drought stricken flora, and thereby the subsequent fauna, it can also bring good, too. Always two sides to the coin.

Again, I pray for those suffering the loss of life and home during this storm..... And also for the suppression of subsequent tornadic activity.

On another note, my son Noah needs the Village's help. He's got lymph node and biopsy issues and he's only 6. My mother had to tell me, his mother won't contact me. Any energy Villagers can send in support of his highest potentiality in this instance would be greatly appreciated.

I feel gratitude for the difficult service Noah now renders to the one infinite creator in which we all are and in which we share the experiencing of suffering as our faith is tested again and again. At the same time I find that I must forgive that which is in myself that has given cause to require this catalyst and suffering.

May the energy of my own love, even though humble in comparison, aid and abet the light and the love of the one infinite creator as it and all of us works through the catalyst and associated suffering of our lives - as one.

We ARE all connected.

May the suffering be mitigated as much as possible without the highest goal being compromised.

Ahhh...it's good to be home. Been slaying dragons irl and prefer not to bring that 'warrior' energy and attitude into the Village.

Latest victory...One morning shortly after receiving notice we were to be out of our home in 37 days, I was outside meditating when I had an urge to claim this home as mine. Feeling rather silly, but knowing no one else was awake at this time in the morning, I firmly spoke the words "I claim this house as mine!" And then slid back into silence. Well, we just got notice from the mortgage servicer that they were giving us a three month trial payment period after which our loan would be modified! Got in touch with the counselor who has been helping us fight this thing...she was surprised at their action since they had already turned down a modification and recommended we take the offer!

Healing energy and intent for the highest good for all sent to Noah.

:) I second that!
My daughter insisted we have it on repeat all evening, and that I put on a dress so we could dance.

Here is a not-so-good translation:

She gets out of her bed
So sure of herself
La Seine, la Seine, la Seine
So pretty, she bewitches me
La Seine, la Seine, la Seine

Clairvoyant, the moon is on
La Seine, la Seine, la Seine
You're not drunk
Paris is underneath
La Seine, la Seine, la Seine

I don't know, don't know, don't know why
It's like this, the Seine and I
I don't know, don't know, don't know why
We love each other like this, the Seine and I.

Claivoyant, when you are on
La Seine, la Seine, la Seine
Extravagant, when the angel is on
La Seine, la Seine, la Seine

I don't know, don't know, don't know why
It's like this, the Seine and I
I don't know, don't know, don't know why
We love each other like this, the Seine and I.

On the "Pont des Arts"
My heart falters
Between the waters
The air is so good
This air so pure
I breathe it
Our reflections perched on this bridge.

[B]P.S Belle, that is amazing about your home!

Ulli, I had a thought about your movie and song star synchronicity last night as I was falling asleep. Synchronicities are about the moment. In that moment, you were with some acquaintances in a theater in a relatively new place. In that movie you saw people you knew intimately. The scene was about karaoke, people singing or miming the songs of others, in essence, performing. Perhaps the synchronicity was to bring an awareness to you in that particular moment how the screen was more real than the life you were living at that particular moment, reinforcing the illusory nature of life and the reality that we are all actors on a stage at times, and, sometimes, the things that aren't real, are, and the things that are real, aren't. A moment, an instance of clarity to remind you of the greater, larger stage in relation to the one you were then performing upon.

Good Day You Beautiful Village People! I am so happy to be home today doing what i do best....being the domestic Goddess! Sounds crazy but cleaning house, doing laundry, making a chocolate zucchini cake, while listening to good music thrills me! I have the perfect excuse, my son is coming up for the weekend, and this brings such joy to me. You'd think that being self employed I would make time for myself to do these things, but sadly I don't.

To Belle, Way to go with the positive affirmations! My son in law is in banking and mortgages and he says they have so many people who just stay in their homes without paying anything...and they let them because they just don't want them, they're not selling and they don't want the headaches....so perhaps the people will end up with the power after all.

Ulli, I loved the photo of the elephant and had the sweetest picture of a kitten( without a bow) looking into a horses eye that I wanted to add , I tried to post it and I can't. I don't get it. copy and paste just doesn't work? I am so challenged by this stuff.

We had some errands to run today, and so we got an early start, to avoid the smoke from the ongoing fires that usually descends about mid-day and hangs like a poisonous shroud over the town well into the evening. Our first stop was the bank, and as I stood in line, I listened while the tellers asked each customer what their holiday weekend plans were. I replied to my teller that I was planning to enjoy this week-end as if it were my last. She thought that was a good idea, or at least she told me so. When our eyes met, we smiled, as if in a shared secret recognition of the great game of "Let's Pretend" we were playing in this life.

Later we went shopping at the local supermarket today, and as I was being checked out, a cheerful young lady bagging the groceries spoke up and asked if we had watched Mitt Romney on TV last night. She was glowing with the fervor of subliminally-programmed mass hypnosis, and filled with hope and admiration for the puppet. I responded that I had seen a few conventions in my time, and heard a lot of promises, and suggested that politicians are essentially lying when they move their lips. She seemed crestfallen, as if I had just told her Santa Claus was not a real person. I felt a twinge of remorse, and tried to praise her enthusiasm, but it was too late, the seeds of doubt had been sown.

As we were leaving, an attractive young lady was snagged by the store assistant mangager in the parking lot. It seems she had tried to rip off the self-checkout machines. With my background running supermarkets, and knowing the amount of thieving perpetrated by humans in such environments, I've often wondered why companies bother installing these machines.

Back in the day, my father belonged to a men's fellowship club called "The Optimists". It's sort of like the Elks Lodge I suppose, and I always pictured a bunch of guys sitting around being optimistic about things (and perhaps even coming up with ideas like self-checkout lanes in supermarkets). It was a comforting thought, that there were such associations around, where folks felt hopeful and positive about the nature of phenomenal existence, even if it did not have any inherent substance or concrete and enduring reality.

Thanks for that, Rahkyt. Lots of food for thought there, for sure.
A the time I was more into the probabilities of such a thing possibly happening; not so much what the message could have been, but how the universe operates to make these synchronicities.
And the image I got was about how there are currents in the ocean, like in the Atlantic where there is the gulf stream and apparently it forms the figure eight, plunging low and high and crossing over, and it came to me that certain people who belong to certain soul groups travel along such a current in 3 D life and have their paths cross since they circulate in that same environment.
By the way, I had been living in Costa Rica for many years by then...and the life that I had lived in London during the seventies was really like a past life, it had nearly faded fom my memory, as if it had happened to a different person altogether. And all those people were still living in that heavy media world where an image of fame and wealth has to be maintained, at quite a high cost to the person's real freedom.
Anyway, even though I had become a nonentity I felt liberated somehow at my soul level, yet somewhat deprived of excitement at my ego level of being. All in all, some interesting reflections ensued from the experience.

Here and now, I am reflecting on my yesterday. I had to travel to north MS, City of Ashland, as referred to in the dream I wrote about previously in the Village this week. Traveling south between New Albany and Pontotoc on a road that I have never previously traveled, I saw a sign for an Indian Mound named Ingomar. Of course!, I detoured and went to see it. A short drive took me to the Ingomar Indian Mound! In the picture below, the mound is the mass of rising trees you see. It's about 30 feet high and has a large circumference, and dates back about 2,000 years. When I climbed to the top I was astonished to see, much to my delight, my favorite tree (along with the Catalpa and Magnolia - God I love them all!!!), growing en masse: there was a stand of many old bois d'arcs trees, or Osage Orange (Maclura pomifera). I sat and meditated with the winds of the tropical storm Isaac dancing through the tree boughs and the rain splattering down. I was immensely grateful and thankful to have that experience put in my path during my work day. Life is good, I thank the Creator for everything, and I have NO complaints!

I hope you brought back some sticks.

Welcome to the Village Mitzvah!

This storm is too far north to hit Barbados but may be heading for the Florida or Carolina coast.
It is vital that we all start telling it to break up...anything that organized should not be allowed to go near land.

Well, I would have and don't think I didn't contemplate it. I saw several potential candidates for Wizard sticks. But there was a a sign that specifically requested not to take anything from the premises. I communicated directly with the trees, as I always do before taking a piece of a bois d'arc, and it echoed the same request. So, alas, I did not. Maybe upon returning, and the mound itself becoming more familiar with my intent and ancestry (the mound is Chickasaw), my request will be answered differently.... but this time in particular I respected the response.

OK, Y'all, i just watched a 20 minute film by Luke Scott, Ridley Scott's son, and produced by Ridley, titled "2042: Loom," and starring Giovanni Ribisi. It was visually and substantively intriguing. However, I have no clue what is going on, and I need help deciphering what is being related in this short film.

I came across the link in Loren Coleman's Twilight Language blog: http://copycateffect.blogspot.com/2012/08/loom.html

I recommend downloading the High Res Web version that he links to. I have not seen Prometheus, so that might help tie in some understanding. Regardless, an interesting piece of cinema it is.

Just went out to see the stars ... no stars visible, light clouds in the sky ... but the silvery 'blue' moon is so bright. The wind is blowing from the east. New beginnings. Doreen Valiente said, 'When the wind blows from the East, expect the new and set the feast. "

Playdo, enjoyed reading about your experiences. I have some osage orange seeds ... there's something about them that I'm very drawn to as well. They have a strong vitality; I'm going to plant some next spring near my witch hazel 2d year sapling.

Picturing straight lines of energy going into that storm, slowing down, breaking up ...

Greetings from Hamburg.

Yes it's been a rough week, work wise. Weekend to myself. Planning to find spot for contemplation and gratitude. The weather has been kind considering summer has been, for the majority, m.i.a.

The moon was GORGEOUS last night. Wished I knew how to post pics from phone-to-iPad.

WELCOME MITZVAH!!
