Eighteen more to go...
Tomorrow morning, is my guess.
Just as I have to go out and find curtains/blinds for husbands new office.
Actually, I'll be content with 18999, and also 19001
All cool numbers.

Interesting that right now I'm seeing posts about skydiving....me, the ultimate sufferer of vertigo.
Is it that my shadow side wants me to overcome my fear of heights?
As a Capricorn I'm the ultimate earthbound spirit and when it comes to 3D I'm caution personified.

So before anyone set out to go flying off any ledges have a look at these reports:

Geez....It won't let me have #19,000...

You have to wait 3 or 4 minutes (I forget the exact number) between posts, for the forum software to decide you're making two separate posts, rather than adding to the same post.

Sorry :o - I didn't get the countdown bit, other people must have been backing off, trust me to put my foot in it.

That was the Edit quote button you've been pressing (or rather the server). I'd leave it alone if you want to get to 20k anytime soon. Just doing my bit.

Edit: out of date post. But Ulli has just hit a new landmark of 42000 thankyous, a much more significant figure in my opinion

I remember when you started the thread, a great idea I thought, we all need to be here and now as much as we can. So I started hanging out to see what everyone would say, and post my here and now moments once in awhile.

And the difference between a million dollars and a trillion dollars is just a few zeroes (or a couple of letters). All those extra handwritten zeroes in prewar Germany led to job creations for bank clerks (no kidding).

The energy of the writing and sharing increases exponentially when so many doing the sharing are in some way or another in touch with their own magical natures, IMO. We are indeed, shall we say, a coherent bunch, Here and Now. Happy Birthday to the Village! I propose that next year we all send each other gifts in honor of the Village's second birthday. We would have a year to figure out the logistics of this, ha! Still, I want to say Good Job! to ulli for starting this thread in the first place. It's been a real honor getting to know everyone who has gathered here and now.

Happy Birthday, Villagers.
We have BEER, BEER, and more BEER,

http://torontobeerweek.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/07/Craft-Beer.jpg

but also there are plenty of Pina Coladas, Smoothies, Margaritas, Mojitos, Herbal Teas, and Costa Rican coffee.

And for those who like it classy we have Champagne, Bubbly, and Spumante.

So when the US debt currently standing at $114.5 trillion reaches about 150 trillion, its volume in $100 bills becomes equal to that of the twin towers.

And the whole financial system comes tumbling down.

911 was the day the only thing to survive 'dustification' to kingdom come were all those sheets of paper. Rather puzzling, but highly symbolic. The strength of paper goes hand in hand with the power of the pen, and we need to stop wasting it on promises to pay.

http://i1262.photobucket.com/albums/ii610/WhiteCrowBlackDeer/Wilderness%20and%20Space/IMG_3151-1.jpg

Today is a beautiful day, for the sun shines overhead and the clouds drift along at their natural speed as guided by the breath of Mother Earth.

The planet and her ever-evolving peaceful state can help calm even the most harried of states, for she has a grace that cannot fail to inspire and ease the worries of human life. Being in Nature and feeling the perfect presence of each leaf, each star, each twig and each bird will reassure you that all is taken care of, always.

There is nothing in life that has not come before and will not come again. Nothing is insurmountable if love is your guide and wisdom firmly cradles your heart. So have faith in this time and all that unfolds for you today, each and every second is beautiful, simply because it is.

Blessings of Light, that light your day.
With love,
Paula

Don't worry, it looks to me like the cat has things under control. I don't think he will let you be the buffet, but you've got to watch out for some of the women around here, they've been known to get up to some gender specific cannibalism in the past, if you know what I mean. I mean, it's not like I'm naming any OP's or moderators, or anything.

Happy B-day to the Village ...

Souls on Parade
during the Age of Change,
Mages and Sages,
Spirit Songs and hearts longing
for surcease, for peace
from the storms of life,
synchronicitous occurrences,
the easing of strife lessened,
tests and blessings,
open minds in connected times,
love trined, the stars and planets aligned.

This day arrives but once a year,
collecting fears in the vale of tears,
dissipating hate, the clearing of internal slates,
love never abates,
the joy of celebration on this wonderful
and auspicous,
date.

The bear looks like he's eyeing up the photographer...won't be satisfied with scraps.

Anyone know how I can get a photo up on here? I got firewalls here, doesn't let me do any kind of photo site or networking site--I was thinking that maybe the "avalon inbox" has some sort of address I could send it to from an outside email? Or is that only avalon-to-avalon email?

Donk, you can load your photo onto a photo sharing site like photobucket or flickr. I have blocks, but can do those. Maybe google to see what's out there you can access.

PM's are only within Avalon, and Avalon does not host photos so you'd need to have them on another site and import them here.

Once it's there, right click on the photo and select copy photo url, or select properties and then get the url that starts with http://.

Once you have that url copied, come to the posting box and click Insert Image icon (hover your mouse over the different icons to see the names). A box will pop up -- copy the URL into the space, and click OK. Your photo should show up.

If you are on a computer that has blocks (like the one I'm on now, at work), you might not be able to see it. But others can.

Flickr changed their rules recently to make it a bit harder. You'll need to open up the pic until you get a 'copy URL' option, and you have to make it a public photo, I believe.

You can see how it will look by clicking 'Go advanced' before you push the posting button (Submit Reply). And change it if you need to.

Hope this helps. Let me or the other moderators know if you need more help. I am on only sporadically during the workday but will check back later.

Cheers, and party on Village!

Um, Avalon does host photos?

I go to "my profile" and add images to my miscellaneous album all the time, then get the link and post them here.

We get 35 mb of space to host images.

Or am I special? Nobody else does this?

How do you do that? Can you go directly from an email? I have confirmed that the blocker here is pretty hardcore--nothing with photo or network or social or anything gets through...

Of course. That don't necessarily mean you get privledges

Up at the top of the forum on the right hand side where it says 'settings' and 'log out'. It should also say 'my profile'. Click on that on on the left side beneath your friends, it should say 'albums'. If you haven't created any there should be a link there to allow you to do so, then once you do, you can upload directly to PA's server from your computer, images that you have dl'd onto your desktop or into a folder. The Vbulletin software has all of the functionality that you'd need to upload.

Ditto, a broken image link icon ... if the image was able to upload onto PA, then it should show. Did you get a confirmation, were you able to click on the image and then see a link to it on the bottom right hand side? There should be two boxes on that side of the image that say 'picture URL' and 'bb code'. I use 'picture URL', which you have to place in your post using the 'image' functionality in your toolbar above the text box. If you use 'bb code', you can just paste that as stand-alone code.

donk
14th September 2012, 16:29
To get them up there, I right clicked after uploading them from my desktop...and cut/pasted the link from the properties screen. It is weird, it is like they are kinda there, but maybe only for me? M<aybe because of some security from work?

I've done it many times, and it works. You create an album on the profile page. Right now I'm on the road, on my iPhone, so I cannot attend to the exact details ...but there is always the sandbox thread for learning how to do this

It is a Dutch rabbit?

I'm not sure, she came into our life (from some ass that left her in a cage for a year + ), within the past month, and I haven't had a rabbit in years. When I did, I had a flemish giant...that, and the "lops" are the only ones I was ever familiar with...I haven't gotten up to speed.

I never thought my girl would let me get one. I would only get it if we would not let it in cage--I was unsure if I could litter box train one, the last one I had just preferred it...Angel seems to, though does have some issues.

My gf is anal (pun intended) about fecal matter--even if it is pure vegation from an herbivore...she's been cool about it though, Angel stole her heart...

After the exciting day, here she is now:

PL, have you heard of a band called Pixies? You should check them out... :whistle:

I said no. The reason I have a hard time with this sort of thing is because I feel so much compassion for people. I would have normally gone as far out of my way as I needed in order to help. But some things occurred to me which took this one decision to a more spiritual level for me, if you will. The universe has repeatedly, over the last week, given me opportunities to learn about compassion and guilt. After being asked to do this one thing, a little birdie whispered "compassion for self" and something about how this is as important as compassion for others. And, I am being given the opportunity to make a choice that would normally be accompanied by a guilty feeling, which serves no purpose, as I have been reminded. This is a complicated issue for me. I am having a bit of a struggle with it, because it just doesn't feel right to say no. Don't get me wrong, I can say no to a lot of things, but when it is helping someone...it's a little tougher. There are times the highest good might be served by not helping. Tough concept.

Much Love,

I hear you, One. This is a familiar struggle to me.

Raised to be a 'pleaser', it was always easier to deny myself and my needs to help someone else. Guilt...I was raised Catholic...need I say more? Jewish mothers can't compare to the Catholic Church when it comes to guilt.

Saying no to my children was always the most difficult. But I learned to ask myself in any situation: was I was really helping them or was I providing a crutch for them to lean on. imo, my 'job' as a parent was to teach my children to stand on their own two feet, no matter how much I wanted to step in and 'help'...that they know how much I love them and believe in them sets a good foundation. Children mimic their parents...what is being taught by denying yourself...perhaps that you are less than others, your own needs not as important as someone else's? I wanted to raise my children to be compassionate and confident...what I said mattered much less than what they saw me do.

Somewhere along my journey growing into myself, I came to realize that I can only give what I myself have. If I'm 'running on empty', I cannot give from a full heart...bits and pieces of resentment come to rest within no matter how much I would try to deny it. The result would be moments of frustration or impatience or anger way out of proportion to what triggered it.

I'm not saying 'be selfish'...that's the bs the guilt-mongerers throw about. Taking time to nurture yourself is not selfish. Only you can know, deep within, what the best course of action is in each situation.

Be kind to yourself, One...you deserve it and your children will thank you for it. The time will come when they want to take care of you like you are now caring for them...would you want them to be torn between their needs and yours or would you want them to give out of their abundance?

Much Love,

As long as one knows what one is doing, and why.
Mostly people's reactions are based on their habitual patterns, and so it can be just as tough for a harsh personality to switch to a soft feelies response as it is for a compulsively helpful person to say " you'll figure it out...I need to do my thing here..."
If it is done in the knowledge that other people have their own inner reserves to tap into, and will benefit from doing so, in the long term, it is quite easy.
All those other responses only create more dependencies.

Dear Free Will, Poo Poo! Poo poo away! Poo on Fear! (giggling here) (Fear wriggles like mad as the Villagers hold him down for you … to do your thing … ) Thank you for your PM. Going to get some of those awesome micronutrients for hubby, who subsists on a diet that would send most people screaming into the wild (Yes, I feed him healthy stuff, and he feeds himself awful stuff …) . Welcome to the village, miracles every day here, every day. You belong, you sooooo belong.
P.S. Your adorable avatar is up there in my top three, with Fractal Being’s baby hedgehog in hand and Earth Angel’s kitten with buckets, just too cute for words.

Sierra, I was just sitting here pondering this whole situation with manic depression, as M has decided (unbeknownst to anyone else) to get off all her meds. The reality of one who is living in that brain, in that mind, is so difficult for some people to truly empathize with or to truly understand. And it occurred to me that this must be what it is like for each person with a disorder labeled psychiatric by the rest of the world. Grandiose thinking in manic depression, or the perception of being completely worthless...these are real to the sufferer. Real to the point that any other REAL cannot exist alongside it.
1InMany: Very real. So real. I see now, how his brain is really affected. Not his mind, his brain. Because I can see it, I suddenly see the usefulness of helping to organize and prioritize. Last night I told him he had seven minutes to get the recyclables from downstairs and then dinner would be ready. Told him again at five minutes (he kept talking and talking) lol. He didn’t make it back in five minutes, but he was there as I was scooping the fuji apple/red onion/white wine/butter over the game hen and the food was not cold and I was not annoyed lol.

I was reading recently that many Wanderers who come at this time to help experience these types of disorders...I am not saying I believe this or do not, but whoever these beings are that come with these afflictions already decided, or programmed (obviously I am not the one with all the answers), have such resolve and love as beings that they risk all and believe somewhere way down deep that they can see the light through this magnified confusion.
It is dangerous to come here. There is a reason reincarnation is part of the system. Nobody gets it right in one pass. It is funny. David and I have caught ourselves so many times having telepathic synchronicity … I am constantly quoting stuff from the TV before they say it, and David quotes me as I am thinking something (and vice-versa). Despite the evidence, the quantity of it, the reality flows over his darling oblivious head. But … the fact that he DOES it, confirms to me, he is a pretty special fellow.

I cheer and root for you finally getting off the last drug Effexor! I hope the healing is gentle and fast! <handing 1InMany the patience to count the little tiny bits and screw the capsule back together>

I’ll just write the flash that I saw:
Hubby is walking away. He’s choosing life over hellish situation and control. He only needs a little push of encouragement that it is okay to make this choice.

These action steps also tells me a couple of things: Hubby’s okay and thriving, though it might take any where from three weeks to three months for it all to settle in his bones.

I know you know this, eliminate anything from diet or drink that triggers depression; incorporate activities that promote bliss.

My heart goes out to you, Sierra and Hubby,
With Love and a Hug,
Paula

Hi WCBD, Yes, for the first time, he is taking action steps. The first time. He is asking for help. Miracle.

His diet (covering face with palm) is something else that needs a miracle. He grew up poor, very poor, so he grew up on junk food. When I go shopping organic healthy food comes in the house. When he goes shopping, oh horror, he even goes to the blow out bin and buys junk food that is 50% off. And he is THRILLED when he scores a “saving”! I no longer judge him, I’ve given up saying anything to him … but yeah it is an issue. In the last year, I am finally getting to the point, when junk food is in the house, I don’t have to eat it. And I am FILLING the cupboard with semi-healthy gluten free and organic sweets. When I eat them, I can tell they have quite a bit less sugar than the main stream media junk food does. My goal is to get to the point, where I have made enough home made stuff, that he doesn’t buy the junk sweets at all. But I’ll have to be a hell of a lot faster than I am now lol.

I send the Highest and Best into all the multi-dimensions of
Hubby, and Sierra, and Boss
so that each may direct to where it serves them.

Hehehehe, Boss is not gonna know what hit him!

Sierra and 1inMany I am sending my love and intentions for healing to both because I can truly emphasize on so many levels of both your ordeals --- I know that it will all come out all better in the end...it's just that the journey of getting three can be more than arduous at times....

Thank you Amanda. It sort of feels like plodding up the hill in skis, REALLY hard work. Then, suddenly the hard work comes to fruition and it is free fall fly jump and whump time!

Sierra, for you, in your need and per your request, I intend energetic support toward your highest potentiality in this situation.

Whatever your husband is going through, may has guides and angels and ancestors and all who love him support him through his free will choices, no matter what the outcome may be.

Thank you Rahkyt. (hug) After reading your post, I immediately sat down, got quiet and requested the entire gang of guides, angels, and ancestors to come to our aid.

Dear Sister, I was feeling you yesterday, and I almost posted a note here asking if you and your husband were alright. Thank you for letting us know what's going on, and be assured Mazie & I are sending our fullest intent for the best outcome to this current situation, as well as the general condition you guys find yourself in. It is very hard to see any apparently stressful and threatening circumstances as gifts, although in retrospect we may be grateful for them, or at least understand what they were all about, and what they were designed to provoke in us, in regards to our long term evolution and soul development. Of course, that doesn't make the immediate acute hardship much easier to bear, particularly when there is little space to reflect, due to the intensity of the present circumstance. Consequently, please know that you are both held in loving arms, and that there is a terrific amount of light being broadcast your way, from those who cherish you here.
I feel cherished. It makes me cry. This village stuns me at times ... Thank you Bob, thank you Maizie. I know it is a gift ... a long time coming (the best kind).

You caught me. Using 'ass', 'hurts' and 'drive' in the same sentence is asking for trouble. Especially to someone you told about llama who had to be fenced off lest they hump anything that moves. I sure asked for that, Fred, set you up real nice too.

Apologies to you, Sierra. Strange juxtapositional conversations here. You are in my thoughts.

Bad Illama! Well Rad, since I can laugh and cry at the same time, no worries. Thank you for the thoughts and did you see 9E's rastafarian goat? That goat is awesome. I thought it was a dog at first ... I hope your ass has recovered (snicker) …

Having been raised in a poor household with an abusing alcoholic stepfather who beat my Mother both physically an verbally on a regular basis, I can have compassion with what some of the Villagers are going through.

She stayed with him for 57 years. I can only attribute that to them having a contract when they came in to this world.

Life can be a real struggle at times. I can't say I have completely put that past me, we can forgive but it is hard to forget. Still visions of my Mom with black eyes and bruises all over her and Christmas trees being thrown out the door or Thanksgiving dinner thrown up against the wall, there are flash backs still.

I have tried to put it past me, and try to live in the now, (thank you Eckhart Tolle) and all of the teachings by enlighten and awake souls. It has taken me 61 years to get to this point. I think now that I am a better person because of what I went through.

Wow BC, that sounds like it was very rough. I'm glad you know you are a better person for it (and there was a reason to go through hell). I find that realization really helps, and I find it provides a path to closure as well. (hug) (btw, I'm 63. Crones rule!)

Just got back, last night, from visiting 9eagle9 for 49 hours. Great lady and mother. Wonderful hostess too. 12 hour one way drive. Boy, did my ass hurt.
So, Eaglespirit and 9eagle9 are two PA members (one is now a former member) I have met in person. Two I really resonate with. After eagles a (l)lama would be cool. My ass hurts thinking about that drive though. :p

So let me get this straight:
whichever involvement with 9eagle9 one chooses...
Whether the horsey-riding-lesson route,
Or the keep-your-Internet-distance-to-get-a-spanking route
or the go-visit-in 3d route....
One ends up with a sore ass.
She ought to consider starting a dominatrix school.
Oh Ulli! Falling down laughing ... gently patting ModWiz on his sore ass (with a ten foot pole considering the liberties I am taking.)

@ Sierra, can you please get me permission directly from your Hubby for me to do some work on this issue,
this allows me to go in deeper and work on more levels.

Love to all
I got it Astrid, I got it. You have permission. Wow, I was terrified to ask, and he was like, “Oh yeah, anyone wants to help, you tell them to go for it.”

Sierra, I am truly with you, you are in my thoughts as well as your husband, much love, Flash

Hi there. This is Flash`s daughter. I can see you`re very worried about your husband. That`s a good thing because it`s a sign that you love him very much. I just want to let you know that there is a difference between wanting to commit suicide and comitting suicide. Some people may hate their life and want to die but they`re too afraid of death to do it. Or maybe they still have dreams and hopes that keeps them alive. So keep in mind that your husband may think of death, but there might have a few things keeping him alive. You seem like a great person so i`m sure you`re one of the reasons he`s staying alive. Anyways, i hope everything will be ok for you and your husband. I`m suporting you guys 100% and always will. I love you all.

Sierra, as my daughter has had communications with you, I thought of sharing a bit of your difficult time with her, more are in the spirit and love with you, easier the situation will get. And she has, in my idea, a wonderful heart. So love to you and your husband, Flash
Thank you Flash. (hug hug hug) Please tell your daughter:

Thank you Dear Heart. I do love him, very very much. We've been married 24 years now, and I can't imagine not being with him (I refuse to stare into that abyss, I'll cross that bridge if and when ...). He has told me repeatedly in the last week or so that he would not be alive if he was not married to me. I suspect ... I was in the same place in a previous incarnation, and I was given the gift of a mate that loved me to keep me living. I hope I was grateful and learned my lessons well to apply to this lifetime.

Guess what! Not this weekend, but next weekend, we are going McKnao hunting. This is because I did a life between lives regression (ask your mother) and was told I'll recognize McKnao in his new body by him raising a paw at me. David's support group told him that we need to go get a chat, oui, immédiatement! Thank you so much for your love and support. Love, Sierra

May you receive the guidance necessary so that your perspective and viewpoint allows for love in place of the fear, and I ask that you be helped with releasing the fear to make way for love.

Sierra, in addition to asking us for assistance, ask your angels. Ask his angels.

Mentally take your husband by the hand, call to him, allow your intent to be fixed on love and support at every level of both his-self and your own self. Love Love Love.

Zoot zoot zoot ;)
Doing it, doing it Anchor . Angels have been deployed. :) Thank you for the clue to call my husband from within, and intend him with our High Selves in love and support. Zoot zoot zoot! (He was (metaphorically speaking since he has not seen the video) zooting me like mad last night lol and I was walking around looking like a grinning fool.)

Sierra...May Loving Balance bring all matters to a new and heightened arena for You and Your Husband.
(hug) Thank you eaglespirit! A balance between the highs and lows is exactly what is needed lol. And love, always.

I still think we could give her a section under spirituality that only the brave dare enter...
she had style...
(Spirituality? Spirituality? OMG Rocky, she’d kill us!) Noo, I think we’d need a separate section entirely … labeled “Abandon All Hope Ye Who Enter Here” or “Here Be Dragons” or oops almost got carried away there … <ducking and running>

and no one handles a foam bat better than her...
too bad she grabs the wooden one occasionally, looks like it really hurts... ;)
as long as the door is open for her, some day she might hop back in and join us...
She was only on a vacation, so the door is absolutely open for her (koff koff ... er ... parking that wooden bat at the door where the programmed brains usually go...).

Sierra...... I'll send all my best to you both!
Grabbing Waky's best! (hug)

Oh My Goodness! I'm doing this!!! Thank you so much, Carmody!!!!

Much Love,
Yes you are 1InMany! You GO girl! :thumb:

My dog friend Kandu has passed today. My son in law took him to the marina, his most favourite place, before going at the vet. He was too weak to go out for a swim, but I'm sure he enjoyed it. He will be missed. We have a new friend on the other side. Last night, my dauther dreamt that Kandu was running with the deers in the forest.

Holding each one of you in my heart. Love always.

Holding you in my heart too Samsara. It hurts. Tell your daughter Kandu will come to visit. McKnao visited me a lot after he died, I was such a nag. (hug)

They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent. His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.

You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.

Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together....

Author unknown...

Thank you. I have to tell you BC, I actually look forward to death in that one respect, that I will see my beloveds again. :) But I'm not waiting to die to see McKnao. I've bugged him for three years now to come back. Going McKnao hunting in a couple of weeks. :)

It's so quiet around here....
what is everyone up to?????

Don't worry, it looks to me like the cat has things under control. I don't think he will let you be the buffet, but you've got to watch out for some of the women around here, they've been known to get up to some gender specific cannibalism in the past, if you know what I mean. I mean, it's not like I'm naming any OP's or moderators, or anything.
PurpleLama, I'm sure I have no idea what you are talking about ... :whistle:

UPDATE: David is on medical leave for four weeks. He is going to group therapy five days a week 9am – 3pm. He is being put on Prozac for long term depression, a temporary med for anxiety, and I have not yet found out about the third med. He can’t drink, since it is a depressive. We came home (he from meeting with the shrink, me from the dentist where I find out my cracked and infected tooth cannot be saved (Yay!) so I can get a bridge!) last night and he zooted me all evening long. He is hopeful for the first time in years.

Village, thank you so much for the miracles. I do believe he is going to be all right. One way or the other… He is asking and getting support, and us Villagers know how important that is!

I love you all so much! HAPPY BIRTHDAY VILLAGE!

Oh god what a miserably long post ... no one will read it!

Summary and bottom line: I love you!

How can anyone NOT read your bubbly posts...
Especially when they contain such good news about David.
By the way, you aren't the only one who did a double posting today...
Muggins here did it, too, but I won't ask you to go and find it...
too many pages have passed since...like water under a bridge...

How weird is that? Astrid's post reminded me that I had a dream about a party this morning also. Mine wasnt so nice, though ... it was on the edge of some sort of canal, dark water, people were dressed quite garishly, they all seemed to be the sort you'd see at a Hollywood affair. I remember not fitting in and diving in the water to retrieve something someone purposefully lost, knowing it was done for the amusement of banal people. I'd had to search the water previously for a dead body and there was a monster truck driving under water. The party and my service to the amusement of the guests was the culmination of the dream.

There are those who think that life has nothing left to chance take,
A host of holy horrors to direct our aimless dance.

A planet of playthings,
We dance on the strings
Of powers we cannot perceive
"The stars aren't aligned,
Or the gods are malign..."
Blame is better to give than receive.

Chorus
You can choose a ready guide in some celestial voice.
If you choose not to decide, you still have made a choice.
You can choose from phantom fears and kindness that can kill;
I will choose a path that's clear
I will choose freewill.

There are those who think that they were dealt a losing hand,
The cards were stacked against them; they weren't born in Lotusland.

All preordained
A prisoner in chains
A victim of venomous fate.
Kicked in the face,
You can't pray for a place
In heaven's unearthly estate.

Chorus

Each of us
A cell of awareness
Imperfect and incomplete.
Genetic blends
With uncertain ends
On a fortune hunt that's far too fleet.

Chorus

Happy Birthday to all of the Villagers. I cannot believe it has been a year now.

And Happy Virgo Birthdays too.

Welcome to all of the people new to the Village.

Haven't posted in the Village for a while now. I have been busy with tasks (some of which are much more arduous than I originally thought) and allowing the events of the beginning of Summer to gel....
but always thinking of and say a prayer for everyone.

Soon, I will be writing about good hot fires and making good hot soups.

The last 2 days in the forest have been hot, blustery and dry. There is a mild warm Sana Ana wind blowing through SoCal. The winds have been strong enough to blow the acorns off of the Red Oaks and the pine cones off the tall Pines. Lots of accessible food for all of the little critters.

Here is a picture of the area, dense scrub oak, Manzanita, Red Oak, Pine -old growth forest. There is also a splattering of White Willow and Cottonwood trees in the lower wet valleys.

Had a dream a couple of nights ago..... a man was killing trees. Some of them large. He would either turn them into deadwood then pull them out or cut and pull them while they were still alive. I was deeply upset and furious. I went outside shouting at him to stop. He didn't really care, he just kept killing them. I had to wake myself out of the dream.

I am still listening while writing this, but that's very beautiful John.

It reminds me of the Satsang weekend that I attended a few weeks ago. There where talented music players there who created music like this and also in Slavic language. It was very elevating, especially listening and singing as a group (70/80 people).
Together with the presence of Prajnaparamita (http://www.prajnaparamita.nl/homeenglish/homeen.htm) it opened my heart like never before and I still feel the benefits from attending that weekend.
Had a few big insights in the weeks after.

Thank you for putting this up and for your message!

When the song started, my eyes first were drawn to the little statue of Lord Caitanya with his arms raised in praise, the higher up to the image of young Krsna standing on the lotus, playing his flute, and next thing I know I'm collecting myself from the puddle of my tears. I must have been attracted somehow, since I joined avalon during the same time.... hmm.

My daughter sends her love and gratitude to you all. Saying goodbye to a friend is not easy, even when knowing that it is "seulement un au.. revoir" (till we meet again). My grandson is taking things ok, saying to his mother why are you crying, Kandu is now with Jesus (very catholic peruvian famillia on dad's side ... I really don't mind since I just happen to Love the guy very much). But then, yesterday morning he asked if Kandu was there. A lot to take in for a little man.

Thank you Anchor for that. I was in a vapor like morning until I listened. I'm now ready for a day of training... I always liked these blue people.

This does not surprise me at all, Rahkyt. With Scorpios the rabbitt hole goes deeper than with the other signs,
just as Pluto (Scorpio's ruling planet) is further away than the other planets.
So for a Scorpio to attain internal unification means more work is needed to really surrender, to lay down the fear, the resistance, the attitude of 'us versus them'. Inner tension constantly demands that Someone has to keep watch, right?
Which is why Scorpios make powerful leaders, are the most trusted night watch men...

YET

When all desire for personal power is replaced with the certitude that a Higher Power exists, when that trust is attained, then something happens within....,
And for a brief moment the dream landscape might just reveal that the true underlying reality is perfect and ok.
I know you know all that already, I just thought someone needed to remind you that when it is not there in a dream that the dream becomes the bearer of an important message, which can only be decoded by taking each single feature of the dream and, one by one, identify with it. Because the dream and all it's parts are YOU, and you created it, all of it.

After posting the "Standing Ovations" picture, I wondered if anyone would 'get it'.

I still have one of the original, first production version of the Ovation guitar.

A trip down memory lane....many years ago I worked at Kaman Aerospace in Bloomfield, CT for a brief time. Charlie Kaman's (the creator of the Ovation guitar) office was on the second floor, just above my office. As new versions of the guitar were presented to him, he would try them out...wow, he was amazing! He could play anything...spanish guitar, classical, blues, etc...he played it all extremely well. The sweet sounds could be heard all through the building.

The story goes that he was on a flight in one of the helicopters the company made...with his guitar, of course...and loved the sound the rounded top of the helicopter made of his playing. He attempted to recreate that sound in a guitar...hence the rounded back. His son was the one who eventually ran the Ovation division of the company.

During the time I worked there, there was a piano in the lobby which I would play on occasion...he was trying to branch out into other instruments at the time. Thankfully, they dropped the piano idea and focused on guitars...the cabinet was absolutely gorgeous, but the sound and action was horrible!

Charlie was a beautiful soul. He would walk through the building, stopping to chat along the way, caring about the people who worked for him and appreciating the job each and every one of us did.

Charlie passed fairly recently. Maybe that's why loving thoughts of him keep popping up.

Here and Now remembering a special soul who left quite an impression on a young girl so many years ago.

Nora

Dearest Nora, you too, need to forgive yourself.
Life is tough....but it is what it is.
When total acceptance comes that's when you can relax
And only then will that tree chopping stop.

I see dreams with disturbing messages as opportunities for relief and release.
Inner pressures, guilt feelings, resentments, ....
They all have to be purged somehow.
That's what dreams do.
Only then can you access fresh energies with which to continue your life...
Then All Is Well.

My first thought was I hope Modwiz sees your post. He's got some mighty fine Ladies of his own.

To all of my Village friends, a big good morning!

Well we did it! Sign a lease for a brick and mortar vintage shop!

Scary and exciting as well! It is scary going into a business when funds are tight and the economy is not so rosie! It is exciting at the prospect of actually doing something you love on a daily basis.

Any positive prosperity and abundance energy sent our way would be much appreciated!

There has been so much love shown in the Village lately, it really has touch my heart!

My heart goes out to all of you for a happy, healthy, prosperous and beautiful days ahead.

Much love!

It's very sweet of you both, but quite unnecessary, I was just kidding. Self-forgiveness is pretty easy when you get as much practice as I do :)

All is well - except that I didn't get very much work done yesterday afternoon...

This lady's guitars are Male...deep soulful bass tones on both the 6 and 12 string. I'll leave the Ladies to Mod.

Haven't played the guitar in years. Piano is my instrument and the calluses formed by playing guitar detrimentally affects my 'touch' on the piano.

Looking forward to retirement...then I will play guitar, mandolin and congas again and take lessons on the harp...instruments that destroy a pianists fingers but are so much fun to play!

Congratulations, benevolentcrow! There is nothing like doing what you love...others will love it too. Blessings of joy and abundance to your new endeavor.

But I already know that it will be hardly necessary, as you will do extremely well.
I just hope you'll have time to spare to drop in here once in a while.
Will you send pictures when it is all set up? Please please???

How weird is that? Astrid's post reminded me that I had a dream about a party this morning also. Mine wasnt so nice, though ... it was on the edge of some sort of canal, dark water, people were dressed quite garishly, they all seemed to be the sort you'd see at a Hollywood affair. I remember not fitting in and diving in the water to retrieve something someone purposefully lost, knowing it was done for the amusement of banal people. I'd had to search the water previously for a dead body and there was a monster truck driving under water. The party and my service to the amusement of the guests was the culmination of the dream.

Wow Rahkyt. To me it is a perfect expression of your birth situation. This looks like the foundation of reality for anyone descended from those enslaved. Masters *are* garish, Hollywood fake and false, their happiness based on ego saying I'm on the top. They have purposely lost their souls, their feelings, their awareness in order to enslave and profit. And it goes on, even though no American is called a slave anymore. The monster truck under water is the work done, without credit, without acknowledgement (reminds me that slaves built the infrastructure of NYC, including the underground subway system which (or so I've heard) if destroyed by an earthquake, would be too expensive to rebuild in today's market, without monster slavery energy), deep feelings (water) on the subject ... it is the amusement of the "guests" that really gets me ... choleric. And they are laughing today. At all of us.

Dude. You are awesome. What you've built on top of that foundation ... we love you to pieces for it. :hug:

I hope I have not offended, speaking of a subject of which I have no experience ... well, in this lifetime anyway. And pardon me for interpreting your dream, I couldn't resist. It is so very rare that I think I understand a dream.

It is dawn. I am out on the deck, watching the dawn flush. The humming birds are here. Low clouds over the far ridge are blazing pink. It is still, the morning breeze has not yet started to flow down the hill.

Today is my sister's house warming party, and I've been having so much fun making a goody basket (organic olive oil, organic balsamic vinegar, hemp soaps, teas, candle, wine) ... thinking of adding an Indian wool pink and green shawl I have not yet worn, it would be so cosy for her. :)

I just did something I should have done ages ago.
I looked at the Village's chart.
No wonder it has lasted so long.

There was a Grand Trine...Pluto in Capricorn, Jupiter in Taurus and Mercury in Virgo.
(The sun in Virgo, too, but not part of the Grand Trine...)
Then there was Venus rising....
right on the Ascendant, sex tile to Mars...hence we hardly ever have gender conflicts here.
The Moon was in Aries...which is not too great, but held in check by Saturn in Libra, in opposition.
But the best part of all is the trine from Neptune to its Midheaven...
Which means the Village gets regular infusions of love and energy from the unseen worlds,
keeping it alive for some higher purpose.
Obviously part of a greater master plan which we down here can only dream about....
Although Eaglespirit due to his altitude has often alluded to.

“Animal Spirit Guides,” by: Steven D. Farmer, PhD. - (particle list)

If PRAYING MANTIS shows up, it means:

- You could benefit from studying and practicing a martial-arts disciple such as Kung Fu, Chi Gong, or Tai Chi, which has a strong meditative and spiritual component.
- Make prayer, meditation, or contemplation part of your daily regimen, even if only for a few minutes each day.
- Listen to your instincts as to when to more forward and when to retreat.
- Spend some time in the natural world, and practice being as still as you can for as long as you can, with nothing else to attend to except your breathing.
- Consider redirecting your energy by withdrawing it from whatever isn’t working in your life and focusing greater attention on what is working.

Call on PRAYING MANTIS when:

- You feel like your energy is blacked or obstructed in some way zapping your vitality.
- You’re overwhelmed with the stimulation from your environment and want to have some peace and quiet.

If PRAYING MANTIS is your POWER ANIMAL:

- You’re centered and well balanced, and your movements are fluid and graceful.
- You’re attuned to your instincts and trust them to guide you in making the right moves.
- You’ve very patient and perceptive and can maintain your focus for long periods of time.
- Prayer and meditation are significant practices in your life.
- You practice the art of stillness, and you’re so good at it that you’re able to quiet your outer mind and draw upon the internal and spiritual resources that become more available when this is done.

L.
P’er :wave:

PS Use what fits & assists and chuck the rest.

PSS This one jumped out at me because you acted on it yesterday and today was confirmation: "Consider redirecting your energy by withdrawing it from whatever isn’t working in your life and focusing greater attention on what is working."

Praying mantis is one of my power guys.

Congratulations benevolentcrow.

How exciting!!!

The times are supporting your changes of survival of the shop. I saw some statistics once, that showed that businesses, started in times of economic downfall had a much higher success and survival rate, this is attributed to the presumption that people who start their business in hard times, learn how to cope with that from the start as oppose to people who start their business in high times, tend to be oblivious or ill prepared for coping with hard times.

a shop like that is a perfect cover to touch people in their hearts isn't is? You get to be a little outrageous, people will expect nothing less of you and so, they step into the shop, already receptive to stories or energies that are out of the normal. Excellent for educate people for some new concepts of life. ;)

All the power to you and may fortune and success be coming your way!

Yes, quite a few astrologers don't seem to think of that particular part of astrology.

they can forget that the reason they make a chart for a person, and what it stands for, is they are making a record of the moment of inception (the first and original first strumming or ping, for that being)....and then it's flow forward from that moment of inception. The expansion of the ripple and the note that begins it (birth chart) and is at the core of the flowing ripple.

And that it is a moment of a formation, a moment of the formation of the organization, out of some differential of chaos, from the given backdrop, and then that organization of energies moves forward from that point, in the linear unidirectional aspects of time and flow.

But that EVERY moment can contain something akin to that. That the given situation is a combination of those flows of energy, and that those combinations can and do represent similar formations and inceptions as that of people, and in some to many cases, more potent than the given individual.

The individual is many times more potent, in the area immunity to interference of flow in time (a humming little note of a boat bobbing in the waves)..... as their energies are more singular and contained (within the note or form that shapes that note, the doorway or polarized colored glasses..called the body, as in a harmonica, no matter how energy passes through it, can only be a harmonica), and thus can continue to perpetuate through this raucous and cacophonous flow of continual noise, energies and vibrations that are external to their note.

Whereas the bigger peak of a formation of something created external to people is not concentrated in a singularity of moment in that same way. Like a band of musicians, for example. Bigger, if well done... singular, if well done..but..separate. Easier to break up than the singular contained being, as notes and ripples go. (In oceanography they call this a 'freak wave', that seems to come out of nowhere)

This is the why for dogmatic issuance such as bibles or Korans... to have the moment of inception be like that of a human, but carry forward to be able to stand in the flow more strongly and unified, like that of a person, but with more energy than a person.

This is what it means, when people organize, with a record, and a history. This is why the PTB desire to control and manipulate inception, history, and the record, as they can then control and direct the note created by the gathering of humans, their energetic intent..... and drive that is injected into the endeavor. in order to feed of the energy of the note that is maintained by the humans, the feeders must be close and directly involved in the note's edge, like a surfer constantly sliding down the wave, a wave that is always forming. something akin to a windmill in the wind. which is the exact why of finding horror stories of something dark at the deepest controlling point, or core of organized religions. The feeders are trying to hold the note and the energetic feeding of that note by people, so that they themselves can continue to hold the note in existence and feed.

In the same way that a human domesticated an animal, to simplify their life and create a continuance of that situation....that which is evil, corrals and domesticates a religion, a country, a movement, political group, or a rock band. Much more efficient.

Then they stumbled upon the idea of self forming farms. animated, mobile farms, that walk and talk. They called them.....'corporations'. Money markets....and so on. At play in the fields of the false lords, so to speak. You touch their bait and you are in their fields. Just..like...that. Fenced, eating and crapping like a cow, fresh organic meat, waiting for the moment when it will happen, unaware as the cow in the field. (some are in barns, and can almost cognate that they are trapped) (as above, so below)

Since music is fundamental, and is deep in every person, this is why that which is evil, quickly gravitated to attempting to control the music industry, as music went from local to international in it's capacity to infect, inject and be everywhere (modern times). To control the idealism and undercurrent of energetic ripples, at their point of inception and flow. Due to the capacity of music to infect and inform individuals, as music is fundamental to existence.

So remember, wherever such a peak attempts to emerge, that which attempts to feed off the energies of such a peak, will be there... as that is their natural feeding ground. To attempt takeover and control of the given peak is as natural to them, more necessary for them than the basics of your breathing.

I feel like anchor, a big ol' crybaby, thank you for that maha mantra. When the song started, my eyes first were drawn to the little statue of Lord Caitanya with his arms raised in praise, the higher up to the image of young Krsna standing on the lotus, playing his flute, and next thing I know I'm collecting myself from the puddle of my tears. Thank you, John, that was freakin' awesome. I can't wait to show Playdo!

This does not surprise me at all, Rahkyt. With Scorpios the rabbitt hole goes deeper than with the other signs, just as Pluto (Scorpio's ruling planet) is further away than the other planets.

My dreams have actually been quite mundane lately. More so than usual. Lot of clearing at the personal, astral level. I sense interactions with family and friends and, sometimes, people I haven't thought about, seen or spoken to in years. Generally, my astral travels are galactic, I'm always battling or questing or exploring or learning.

So for a Scorpio to attain internal unification means more work is needed to really surrender, to lay down the fear, the resistance, the attitude of 'us versus them'. Inner tension constantly demands that Someone has to keep watch, right?

Yes. The astrological and physical stricture placed upon spirit during incarnation works toward specific goals and lessons, highlights attitudes and experiential biases that require further illumination. For me, the protective and protector aspect of my personality is highlighted in what seems to be service-based life-events, where I'm placed in situations that draw that forth in opposition to the societally-derived tendency to maintain distance. Within the dream/astral journeying state, the experiences are not bound similarly which gives rise to more fantastic potentialities that are indeed a release from the normative memes of waking life.

When all desire for personal power is replaced with the certitude that a Higher Power exists, when that trust is attained, then something happens within....,
And for a brief moment the dream landscape might just reveal that the true underlying reality is perfect and ok.

I have experienced that Higher Power (http://rahkyt.wordpress.com/2012/07/08/practical-enlightenment-the-vale-of-tears/) and do indeed have an abiding trust that it exists. I am not subject to fear in my night journeying even though many of the dreams might qualify as nightmares to some. The weirdness of them often leads me to wondering how their meanings can be interpreted within the context of my daily sojourn and I am often left with the feeling that they cannot. That their meaning is multi-dimensional. I also think this is why I have found it very difficult to remember dreams in the past. Within the dream/astral state, meaning is nuanced beyond waking understanding. Upon waking, even remembering an event in a dream, it seems as if something is missing, as if I have not gotten the full gist of that particular image or circumstance and that is so, because its meaning in waking life is not fully the same as it was when I was dreaming it. Its as if there is another level of understanding to everything within the dream/astral state, a level that informs everything beyond the capacity of the waking mind to translate it. I return to this state when I return in the astral to the same locations, or when a dream becomes lucid. Upon repeated experiencing of the same locale and situation more becomes available for the waking mind to process; the same with a lucid encounter.

I just thought someone needed to remind you that when it is not there in a dream that the dream becomes the bearer of an important message, which can only be decoded by taking each single feature of the dream and, one by one, identify with it. Because the dream and all it's parts are YOU, and you created it, all of it.

Thank you, sistersoul, for the reminder! Blessings and love always ...

An amazing interpretation, Sierra. Thank you for it. I think you may have some valid points here particularly regarding my perspective as a perpetual outsider of certain metanarratives. The thing is, I am divorced from them ALL, including the African-American experience, although I have an active and on-going relationship with the Ancestral by way of my genetic cellular database and the Divine, by way of ultradimensionals that have accompanied my line across the span of time and space. To help confuse things even more, my American Indian (Creek, Crow) ancestry and European (Irish, English, French) ancestry connect me intimately with Ancestral and Divine influences stemming from those traditions and genetics as well. Which lends credence to your final statement that, Now, it is All Of Us who have Awakened who have come to be aware of the Oppressor energy, of the massive and gargantuan monster-truck work that we and our ancestral lines have been doing in service to an agenda not our own.

I hope I have not offended, speaking of a subject of which I have no experience ... well, in this lifetime anyway. And pardon me for interpreting your dream, I couldn't resist. It is so very rare that I think I understand a dream.

You cannot offend me, Sierra so never worry about that. Thank you so much for taking the time to share your impressions, they have been very helpful! My dream/astral party was something else, but I wasn't alone. I got the distinct impression that the party-goers were observers. There were others like me, diving, getting things, walking through the crowd, serving, observing. We knew each other and knew what we were doing for these garish entities. I rather think that, in the context of the village's b-day, we were all the ones who were 'performing' for the party-goers, working, supporting the vision. Without us, it could not have existed. It was our energy that kept the party going. That was the entire purpose of the party.

Blessings, to One and All.

Can't sleep
Noticing big shifts of late a quickening
Having trouble keeping up with the pace

Yesterday I was getting visual bleed throughs
Like the matrix was breaking down also seeing a
second laver of animal , like ravens in another dimension
as well as the ravens in this layer . Was also getting some
physical pain this last week with this latest expansion, can't
say I'm a fan, such a rare thing for me to have any physical
issues ... But all part of being in body, a good reminder that.
Sometimes I forget as I'm off planet so much these days .

I think I can officially call this house the house of birds
And the corner windows, tree swept, makes it feel like
they are even closer to me at times .
My back yard is surrounded by huge trees being next
door to a park , it's a constant party of song and feathers
The last few days I have had ravens and currawongs
greeting the day in at my bedroom window, where the
old silver birch wraps around both south and west .
I go outside and stand in the clearing and it feels like
the magic bird circle . To the west is the mystical
towering pine tree where so many are nesting including
the ravens . Beneath that in my yard is an Ash tree, just
coming into leaf. The Ash is also magical and is known
as the tree of life in the Celtic cosmology, powerful healer.

I stand in a spot in the morning that is apexed by all the
trees and feel the spiral of energies as they combine into a
symphony with the bird songs .

No wonder I don't much care to leave the house
Noticing that since I have moved here everything is
much more alive and active, last house was more of a
R&R phase more for self regeneration.

Yesterday I was nudged to get some more Ormus
And I blind dowsed on a few products, and one them
by a local producer scored into 8/10 for me, checked
and double checked , again working blindly , same results
Even just the folder paper with words next to my chest
raised my vibration through the ceiling, so should be
interesting to get this delivery. .

Still waiting on my water filter to arrive from the US,
I have had to contend here with old pipes so been boling
my water and blessing it .

Was also yesterday nudged to get a Bach flower kit
guess its a natural progression for me to go to, modality
speaking . Love the subtlies but yet the complexities of
working with plant energies .

Blah blah blah over with,
Try for more zzzzz

Love to all

Dearest Family,

We need help, but I don't know what to ask for, so if this strikes a chord, please send what you feel to whomever it applies to...

Peanut is in jail for assault with bodily injury. This sweet child has never hit another living soul...that I know of. She is 5'1 and weighs maybe 110, soaking wet with clothes on.

The worst part is that there is no way to reach her or any of her friends to find out what happened. I got a mysterious message telling me what I just relayed. We have confirmed she is in jail, and that is the only information we have. I don't know if she has been hurt, and I'm hoping against hope that Mike can come up with the money to get her out.

Love and gratitude,

Privatizing jails and turning imprisonment into an industry ....
Could this be he case here?
Aren't parents legally entitled to be informed?

Here is an article about two judges in PA who jailed 2000 children, for receiving kickbacks from jail management.

http://archive.truthout.org/021909J

Take the story of Jamie Quinn. When she was 14 years old, she was imprisoned for almost a year. Jamie, now 18, described the incident that led to her incarceration:

    "I got into an argument with one of my friends. And all that happened was just a basic fight. She slapped me in the face, and I did the same thing back. There [were] no marks, no witnesses, nothing. It was just her word against my word."

I don't know whether to laugh or cry. Peanut used her taser gun thingy on a very big man who was about to abuse his wife, and SHE is the one in jail. Awaiting release...

The wife would not stand by her, and apparently went home with the man ...

Thank you all for the well wishes! Much appreciated! I could not forget my Village friends. I will most certainly stop by for a pit stop! Top off my fuel, new set of treads, a little spit shine!

Not setting my sites on this car, but...

W~O~W...This Mercedes has been completely covered in Swarovski crystals. I'm sure there are some of you out there that would think this is a little much............I am not one of them. hahaha this takes bling to a whole new level...

I'll take the pickup, I can see R&F on the side!

So sorry to hear, as a Mother, not what you want for your children. Only hope for the best to come out of this. Surely Peanut now knows that jail is not a place she would ever be again. The best to you and yours!

Her problem is likely the preemptive action, regarding the law. The abuse had to begin, and only then would her perceived situation be any better.

She made a judgement call, and I'd of probably done the same myself, without even taking the time to blink. (slap leather, hip shot, it's over (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6vn23e9GnhI&feature=related))

I have a feeling she may have been aware of this aspect. And that all involved may have similar respect for her decision. Except for the 'soon to have been' guilty man, of course.

This situation reminds me of a time....when peanut was 14, Em was 6. We lived in an apartment, and Em was right outside the window playing. She came running in distraught, to say the last, and talking so fast that all I got was "and Tasia and that bulldog." I said, well, I'm sure everything's fine. Calm down, sweetie. And Peanut (her friend and boyfriend following behind) said, "No, Mom, it's a pitbull." That was not good news in this area.

By the time I made it to the door, Peanut had sprinted out the door, run across the grounds, pushed the pitbull off of Tasia, scooped up the 4 year old girl, and was sprinting home, pitbull ripping her jeans and snarling and grabbing at her legs with his teeth...which were bloody, as was Tasia's face.

And the two friends just stood watching the whole thing from the door.

smh

Peanut reached out to protect a woman from being beaten, and she goes to jail...that girl last week testified against a thug and then he killed her...wtf? How can we expect for our young adults to choose to reach out and help humanity, when all they get is the punishment? While the sh*theads walk away...

Trying to remain centered here.

Very proud mama, but incensed at the same time.

All my love and gratitude to you all for helping, I really, really do not know what I would do without you....

Unless we realize that this life will never seem "fair", based upon our limited and time-bound human perspective, we run the risk of being driven mad by the evidence of existential experience alone.

Okay, A-Bob, that's true. But I believe we are turning a corner, and I am believing in the goodness in humanity again, and I have faith that fairness will return. At least the fairness that accompanies life when we all care about each other that much :)

Yeah, I would have too probably. It's an odd situation with this legal system. I can't imagine with her heart that she could have watched an actual beating before doing something. I couldn't watch one either :/ I guess it is a catch 22, and I completely understand her actions. Which means, I will be traveling to court as a show of support, and as her cheerleader, even though I rather doubt this will just go away...

Absolutely. In the Civil war I tried to do the right thing, from being between a rock and a hard place. In the end, my solutions should have been better, a thing I did not get to understand until I was dead. some of that remained unprocessed,and this life is progressive, in those sequences, and the mark of it is AMT IV/A4, with the explosive temper to match, in the genetic origins on one family side. I won't even hurt a fly and never do. I toss them outside, with apologies. Even under duress, I won't act. Hurting others, well, not the best thing to be doing in front of me.

When I was a kid, I'd take a beating and never fight back, shaking from the emotions. What is little understood, is not that I could not strike back, but I was afraid that I would. Frozen with fear that I would strike back.

I talk about it sometimes with Him, all the suffering in the world.

"Dear God," I have prayed, "how is it possible all the horrors I have seen, all the atrocities you allow man to commit when you – God -- are ever standing so near and could help us? Could we not hear your voice say 'No' with such love and power never again would we harm?"

And my Lord replied, "Who would understand if I said that I cannot bear to confine a wing, and not let it learn from the course it chooses."

But what of a man walking lost in a forest weeping and calling your name for help, and unknown to him he is heading for a covered pit with sharp spears in it that will maim his flesh when he crashes through the trap?

"Yes, why don't I remove every object from this world that could cause someone to weep? Yes, why don't I speak in a way that could save a life?”

I opened up my mouth and the Infinite ran to the edges of space -- and all possibilities are contained therein, all possibilities, even sorrow.

”In the end, nothing that ever caused one pain will exist, No one will begrudge Me.

The Absolute Innocence of all within my Creation takes a while to understand."

Same sort of thing happened to me after I learned martial arts and then one day found out another mode of what I could really do when I let a bunch of chi rip into a brick I was learning how to break and turned a good portion of it into dust.

At the end of it all and the layers of fair, unfair, woulda, coulda, shoulda - we get choices.

Some are skillful, some turn out not to be so skillful.

Life does however, go on.

Hi 1inMany, just touching base with you.... http://emoticoner.com/files/emoticons/smileys/wet-kiss-smiley.gif?1292867699

Daily I am reminded of how far I have to go.
I think of it like taking off mittens, boots, hat, coat, etc. Rid all those layers that suffocate, only to discover I'm already there/here.

You've had a full week and COYOTE (http://projectavalon.net/forum4/showthread.php?30405-Here-and-Now...What-s-Happening&p=552851&viewfull=1#post552851) and PRAYING MANTIS (http://projectavalon.net/forum4/showthread.php?30405-Here-and-Now...What-s-Happening&p=553752&viewfull=1#post553752) popped into it. These are some of the sentences that jumped out at me.

COYOTE
- You’re a survivor, capable of living through almost any experience.
- You’re a natural teacher, teaching mainly by example; and as you age, you gain greater and greater wisdom.
- Rather than fighting or running from this situation, it will work out better if you adjust to it.
- Look for the lessons in the turmoil you’re experiencing.

PRAYING MANTIS
- Listen to your instincts as to when to more forward and when to retreat.
- You practice the art of stillness, and you’re so good at it that you’re able to quiet your outer mind and draw upon the internal and spiritual resources that become more available when this is done.

Some days I feel like I want to be truly effective. I miss the direct contact of assisting souls in their leave-taking. That commitment to be working with the hardest cases, the most lost, the most damaged, the ones requiring the direct overlay of this one into the core of what is happening to the other. Yet I am here, and I wonder if they ever know, even though it bears no import.

Oddly enough, or not surprisingly...it is the human part, the duality part that wants this rush of knowing, as a form of re-reinforcement of being able to do something positive that has real meaning to self.

(my horoscope says I should be a 'professional greeter', hah....Robert Hand, you have no idea how deep this sort of thing actually goes....or maybe you do)

And that while wearing the duality skin.... the temptation of abuse of such a connectivity is possibly a problem for some, but really, not so, for this one... in the final analysis. Humanity must repair itself, one by one, in a slowly rising awareness. to step inside an unwanted one, and simply jerk their hand on the wheel for a second and ...slam..into the rock face. whoops. Ahh..the human dreams. *Sigh* No, not to be done. So close, yet so far. I can't even warn them, 'be good, or I'll hand you your ass in a hat'. Nothing. It has to be done clean.

But we are getting closer. To the point that these words of such things can be now on the open public record, so that awareness can slowly build. We are getting to the sharper part of the curve, where things really begin to change. That the mass of awareness is increasing to the point that such public statements are not the problem they used to be.

I remember speaking with Hiram, an ex moderator here, about the situation when Charles arrived. I said it is as if things are picking up, and the serious and real 'heavy hitters' are starting to arrive on the scene, and he agreed that it seemed that way. At the same time, I don't know exactly what that means, if anything at all.

The understanding is that we have all been the victim and the persecutor at some time or another, and probably hundreds to thousands of times. Which makes me wonder...where did I pick up such a skill set? which is part of why I love this film so much and this particular song.

Am I a sad old soul eater from some other incarnation or space, retired from that imbalance as an experience .....who is one of the ones that has the character and capacity for the job 'that need be done'? One of the ones who has been everything and every potential across many places and spaces? From this place, I only get glimpses, I don't get to know. I Mean, I understand all the technology that humanity does not have. I remember the light, it's intensity, it's feel, it's all encompassing aspects. I remember the sound of the light. All of it.

The other side of that coin of capacity..... is knowing and living the price to be paid if foolishness attempts to reign. 'Here's your mop', the universe says. 'If you **** up, you clean it up'.

Blade Runner always reminds me of when I was living in London..always somewhere in Central London, and had 12 different addresses in 15 years...as I made my way up the social ladder...sometimes was buying the paper to look at home rentals just a few days after moving into a flat, and knew I could not live there...there were so many layers and levels....and even my dreams back then had a Blade Runner quality about them...now it all feels as if it happened in another life altogether, and I haven't been able to face going back...the unearthly technology you speak of...it was there, too...
Like England, the mountains of Costa Rica are damp and clammy and misty, but there is another feeling here...very raw and completely different, and Blade Runner is so far away it just has no reality in this place at all.
Here the errors of Europe and the US are being perceived by a rapidly awakening population who are scrambling to avoid falling into those traps, while snatching only those bits they find useful...
and who are thus managing to stay at the No 1 spot on the list of the happiest people on the planet.

Thankyou for this, and that channel on YouTube is filled with good things. I will enjoy watching a lot of the videos there next week.

This was a really good interview, thanks for posting. In it Krishna Das talks about his time with Ram Dass and how he sent him to Neem Karoli Baba and he tells the story of how the Westerners who were there visiting him ended up being the ones who sang Hare Krishna chants for the guru. He talks about how bored he was with the repetitive singing but also explains why this was so important.

I thought it was a great background story to the video that Anchor had posted earlier

Daily I am reminded of how far I have to go. At the same time I am reminded of who I am. Hard to be both. Maybe it gets easier?

Who knows when all the details will come out. Not my deal, I'm "just" the periphery haha. I see the wisdom...I hear it...and I thank you all for it.

Lessons to learn all around.

Hi 1inMany

Once we start embracing the lessons we get and learning them, then we get more lessons to learn so it is no surprise that as you have made such great strides lately that more lessons will be incoming, thick and fast.

Does it get easier? I would say no the lessons don't get easier .....but the acceptance of the lesson, when you see the bigger picture, comes quicker.

Ultimately it is you who is giving yourself these lessons because now you are ready and that is beautiful :)......although these times are both challenging and painful for you. Your sharing of them will, no doubt, be helpful to others.

I like that avatar too PL.
I remember when those threads where hot and they often danced next to each other and I thought it was rather 'catchy' then.

I wonder what happened to <8> though.
We communicated often and he was in the astral Projection group too.
One day he had his first Lucid dream or astral adventure and that was the last day he was on-line here on Project Avalon.
I send him an e-mail to get him to let me know about his ongoings, but no reply.

Rather weird is his join date and last activity date too.

Dear 1inMany

Your daughter has such quick reactions that a crisis is over before it has even begun for other people, so she is not going to get any credit for it – except from us, that is – and as you say, can even get into trouble for it.

A while back I was eating in an all-timber restaurant where they served a flambéd dessert at the next table. Some of the brandy spilled on the floor where it continued burning at the feet of the girl who'd ordered the food and who began to panic. Having quick reflexes myself, I managed to stamp out the fire before it turned into something major. The waiter could have burned the place down, but as it didn’t happen, for him nothing had happened, and indeed on the face of it nothing much had.

A lot of the good work being done in the world is being done this way. It cannot be quantified because it never gets in the news, but the positive message is that if ever if could be quantified, the result would be astounding.

There is also a downside, in that the other side can be acting in the same way. I remember ‘Charles’ claiming that this was his modus operandi: to deal with a problem before it even became one. But the positive message there is that there are so few of these guys compared to the rest of us. The rest of us solve the rottweiler problem by sticking to labradors, terriers and such.

Bob and I spent the day in Oroville, CA last week taking photos and visiting old haunts. I grew up in Oroville, a small foothill community about 25 miles from Paradise. This photo is of my sweet Bob taking pics at the Feather River fish hatchery. Tomorrow, the Salmon ladders open up for the first time this season for the spawn. We're hoping to get there for some really fine photography opportunities.

I'd like to smack myself upside the head. When will I learn? Trust. Trust. Trust. It's Okay.

Peanut came to pick up Little One this morning. I got the story. Only since I hate loose ends and unfinished business, I will share. A bunch of people went out after work Friday. Peanut's boyfriend went along. While at this club, they ran into an old friend of boyfriend, a lady who is now married, and of course she was with friends. A bunch of people decided to go to Peanut's place to hang out. On the way, it became apparent that the only one tagging along was this lady. Now alone, she became fearful that someone had called her husband. She began to fall apart, saying that her husband would beat her when she got home.

Peanut and boyfriend took the lady home, and the husband was waiting outside in a rage. He stormed the car as the lady got out and started shouting, accusing her of sleeping with Peanut's boyfriend. Peanut's boyfriend got out of the car, afraid the husband would become violent. The husband then took cover in the house. The wife followed.

As Peanut drove away, this lady's plight would not leave her. She followed her instincts and went back to the house to make sure the lady was okay. The lady answered the door, disheveled and sobbing and asked Peanut to come in. The wife relayed that the husband had performed certain sexual acts on her that were unwanted. Peanut was pleading with the wife to walk out with her, told the wife she could stay at a shelter, tried to console her and comfort her. Peanut having had experiences like this in the past, she felt such compassion for this wife, and such empathy.

At this point, husband came out of the back of the house in a rage. Peanut and the wife were inches from each other, so when husband lunged it is hard to say which woman he was going for. But, at that moment, Peanut zapped him. It was self defense. This man is ex-marine, keeps his physique up, and is a big guy...I would have zapped him, too.

When the police came, husband wanted to press charges. The wife, predictably, sided with the husband in his version of the story. Peanut stood alone. I suppose she could have fled the scene, but having such honest intentions she stayed and tried to explain to the police so they would help the woman.

Last night Peanut's boyfriend broke up with her. She is heartbroken as she was falling in love with him. Why do I mention this? I know skeptics would not believe this, and I don't care because I know it is true. All the help sent our way with the highest good in mind might have helped this along. Trust me, as sweet as he was to her, he was NOT any mother's dream. I don't alienate my children by disapproving of much. I accept what they choose and love these choices as part of my children. Oh, I set limits and all that, but I will not lose a daughter over a choice of mate. Especially when Little One is involved. So this necessarily had to happen on its own.

Love you all, appreciate each one of you so very, very much. I hope I can keep becoming...sometimes the road ahead is...daunting.

Now I know why my first impression was that there was someone I had to go after.

A synopsis of this morning's dream sequence is....Last night, we were in a building, with people, in a tight space...a gun went off accidentally (it did not look like a normal gun, plasticized, in ways), people had to move out (shift/change/separation), a young woman was on her own. I was helping the young woman. (who was of similar nature to a Sagittarius friend I had in earlier years -just a little bit potent, hard nosed in a tight spot, and people oriented) (Jodi was blonde and polish, and always managed to get herself into difficult relationships and spent her time standing by family and friends when the chips where down, and she never backed down. Never.)

Carmody that imagery you describe about the tight space and separation with a gun is very similar to the dream I had a few nights ago I posted about. I didn't mention the gun part...it just really reminds me of the dream I couldn't shake off.

That's what prescience is, in my experiences. My mind takes the imagery it knows and put it on the things seen, so the objects can take shape. this particular dream took place this morning for me, and then a few hours later, I get this report. The 'out of time and space' connections are usually only provable to ourselves, which is fitting, I guess.

Then I look at 1inM's avatar..and largely see a blondish woman, head on fist, and I get a glimpse of her daughter. Who apparently, fits Jodi's description well enough that this became the overlay of the impression of her daughter, in my case.

~~~~
you see we were partying,and the situation was of people, together, in a tight space, in a house, and then some aspects of domestication, as in the idea of food, caring, family, and so on. Then this dang gun thing went off, near accidentally ..about the same time as a strong male presence was found, and then the slight aspect of some derision or issue pointed at the woman (whom was Jodi to me), who had foolishly handed me a loaded gun. The gun went off when I handled it, put a hole in the ceiling..... people lived upstairs and around the area...and thus the young woman and some others decided that they had to move out and away.
But then, later on, I was with the young woman, down the road, at a new place, but just me and her, no one else. More like a stop, not a place to live. She seemed a bit exhausted and spent. Basically, that she was on her own, even though the moving out, due to that gunshot, was a complicated and involved decision involving this man, and some aspects of the people in the backdrop.
This is why we have to be careful with channeling and visions. Close, but not close enough to run around with a sword of truth or justice attached to it, running people through or whatnot. only in retrospect, context, and juxtaposition can the shape of it be measured or seen, as either relation or comparative.
edit: for me, astrology plays in quite potently. I would not be surprised to learn that her daughter is a Sagittarius or has strong Sagittarian influences in her birth chart. Also, that the love interest angle rears it's head, which starts with the physical, as a norm. And it was a party issue, alcohol was involved. And some domestic violence. Jodi came from a broken home, was an absolute tour-de-force and was not to be trifled with if she got a head of steam on any issue. She was a Slim, 5'3", drop dead gorgeous polish blond alcoholic -self admitted nymphomaniac. If one wanted to find out what trouble was, they'd take her up on her offer to go out drinking. Once. Always an adventure......
Dream last night,
I was told my Father had died, i was at a gathering with people i didn't really know,
and one of them told me quite matter of factly.
I didn't even get to go to the funeral as no one told me about it.
I felt odd at that moment i was told, surreal, and i was surprised he did not
try and contact me on the way through. But on reflecting, in dream, i understood
it was the same as in life as in death. We were connected but there was always a
block there, a fear almost of each others power, or something..
I remember a time when he felt that he had to choose the church over me,
as the way i was , was at huge odds with all that. This to me was a great shame and
a loss, and indeed hard to fathom. But thinking now.. we see this all the time,
religion is the great separator, afterall.
This morning, in my back yard, i watched as from the HUGE pine tree over the back fence,
a baby raven fell from its nest. The parents were distraught.
It's sitting on a lower branch, it's little, too little to survive on its own, I have put out
some mince beef that i give my dogs, hoping that the parents keep feeding it.
Then some white Cockatoos flew over, and perched on chimneys, squawking and
doing their usual larikin acts. One of them sounded like it had been domesticated at
one stage as it was saying "Uh-Oh!"
People often have then for pets and they are expert mimics, they have been known to live 80 years.
So interesting omens in all that, what a start to the day.
Never a dull moment that's for sure.
Yesterday felt very "messy" in that there seemed to be too many options and choices
coming at me, and i was not able to get a grasp on anything.
At the end of the day i finally managed to sit still, regardless,
and i realized that all these possibilities were just that, and i started to get that
its ok to just let them fly past me, rather than thinking i had to do all of them.
Too much novelty, and not enough habit, means that nothing gets done.
As is the dance of life, its a challenge i have had all my life. I want to experience it all,
and find it hard to stop at one thing with the knowing that something else will get unexperienced.
But in reality it does not matter whether i turn left or right, or go straight ahead, just as long as i
commit and move into the experience as fully as possible in order to maximize the outcomes and the learnings.
Or something like that.
True enough for now anyways
Thanks WCBD, i have Raven as one of my long term team members,
so Raven themes are common happenings for me.
I try and not read others take on signs and symbols until i have
done my own asking on such things, as it can make me lazy,
and can mean i miss the meanings more specific to me.
For example, baby Raven falling out of nest is loaded , big time for me.
In the past i tended to being a rescuer of all things.. thankfully i have leaned that lesson well,
and more fully understand that birth and death are just two
ends of the same stick, both just as glorious in ways.
If i save a baby Raven from being eaten by a cat, would i try and stop a raven from being born?
All things being in a constant flow of life and death and re- birth, and such is the flow of life,
All moving towards higher states of evolution.
And of course consciousness never dies it just gets transformed, so who am i to stop that process?
But taken a step further, the Baby Raven is me, part of myself, that curious side that gets me into
trouble sometimes... when i want to do things before time is right, so its a warning of sorts too,
to not be too hasty. Make sure i am ( my ideas are ) fully developed before i try and flee the nest,
take things to world.
On the other hand.. i did in actuality flee the nest very early as it was not a safe place for me to be,
so another take.... And now that my parents are both aging fast... and they need me, badly, i am being
asked to return. But I'm hesitating as i have all those triggers still in my body of
being unsafe that i have to process and deal with.
And kind of sooner than later so i can move with this whole phase of enormous growth.
This is all about me after all, and avoiding such things is only going to block my growth.
So yeah, loads of quite specific meanings in those Omens, and that's just the Raven.
The Raven is also the ultimate trickster and will do whatever is needed to "get the job done".
Not known for comfort, but known for HUGE shifts and growth spurts..
So all very very accurate as far as the current happenings of my life goes.
That trickster energy was for sure at play with that whole event for Many..
its a perfect example of how that energy works. Also you will see many a
many "bird with the one stone" effect occurring too.
So just watch what happens next to all the players involved...
Hi Astrid, when I was typing those, I couldn't help but recall your recent posts about your Dad and Mom. Too, how you are there to assist others, and your general outlook on life.
"I try and not read others take on signs and symbols until i have done my own asking on such things, as it can make me lazy, and can mean i miss the meanings more specific to me."
I have to remind myself of this. I use the book as a jump off point, or sometimes I'll interpret for myself and see what Steven Farmer says. "Animal Speak," by Ted Andrews is another good source.
But taken a step further, the Baby Raven is me, part of myself, that curious side that gets me into trouble sometimes... when i want to do things before time is right, so its a warning of sorts too, to not be too hasty. Make sure i am ( my ideas are ) fully developed before i try and flee the nest, take things to world.
When I read the part of taking care of Baby Raven, I thought that it was time for you to take care of yourself because you've got a road ahead with your parents. But I like your take that it's critical to develop inner timing for it all to unfold in it's proper sequence with the greater picture. That's a challenging one for me. I've passed it on, but I use to have in my work area a statue of a rabbit standing on top of a turtle. It reminded me of my impatience for myself and/or everyone to be where I thought I/they should be. (lots of flag words and judgements)
Drinking soursop juice. The fruit is called Guanabana here, and looks like it might turn one into a reptilian.
We planted two trees on our land.
Husband likes to mix it with a little rum.
That particular one seems to be quite huge, in comparison to others. (I did an image search)
have him see if he can find a bottle of this:
I just found out, doing the image search for the label, that they now have a 23 year old rum. mmmmmm.....
They have a 10 yr, 15 yr, and now a 23 yr.
Bob and I spent the day in Oroville, CA last week taking photos and visiting old haunts. I grew up in Oroville, a small foothill community about 25 miles from Paradise. This photo is of my sweet Bob taking pics at the Feather River fish hatchery. Tomorrow, the Salmon ladders open up for the first time this season for the spawn. We're hoping to get there for some really fine photography opportunities.
Just lovely. Thank you for sharing, Mitzvah. Its good to see my elder spirit brother up close finally. Blessings to you both.
Hello to all my new friends! I feel as though I already know, and fondly so, many of you through my SweetHeart, 'Another Bob.' Thank you so much for such a warm and kind welcome to your village forum. One day he had his first Lucid dream or astral adventure and that was the last day he was on-line here on Project Avalon.
So, quite understandable then, innit?!
Do you mean that he found something to occupy himself with, instead of spending time on PA?
Possibly, but disappearing like this is not something that many would do.
This was a really good interview, thanks for posting. In it Krishna Das talks about his time with Ram Dass and how he sent him to Neem Karoli Baba and he tells the story of how the Westerners who were there visiting him ended up being the ones who sang Hare Krishna chants for the guru. He talks about how bored he was with the repetitive singing but also explains why this was so important.
I thought it was a great background story to the video that Anchor had posted earlier
Been on the interwebz again:
'At what would turn out to be my last darshan of Maharaj-ji's physical body, I was petrified with fear about returning to the U.S. after so many years. I hadn't worn a pair of jeans or shoes for such a long time that I couldn't imagine what it would be like. I didn't want to ask Maharaj-ji what I should do in America, but all of a sudden I blurted out in anguish, 'Maharaj-ji! How can I serve you in America?' 'He looked at me with mock disgust and said, 'What is this? If you ask how you should serve then it is no longer service. Do what you want.' I couldn't believe my ears. How could doing what I wanted to do be of service to him? I didn't have that kind of faith. I just sat there, stunned. Then after a minute or so he looked over at me, smiling sweetly, and asked, 'So, how will you serve me?' 'My mind was blank. It was time for me to leave for Delhi, to catch the plane back to the States. He was looking at me and laughing. I bent down and touched his feet for the last time and when I looked up he, he was beaming at me, 'So, how will you serve me in America?' I felt like I was moving in a dream. I floated across the courtyard and bowed to him one more time from a distance. As I did, the words came to me, 'I will sing to you in America.' 'Soon afterwards, during the full moon in September, Neem Karoli Baba left his body. Now he had to be found within. The chanting, the meditation, the puja and all the wonderful time spent with Maharaj-ji turned out to be seeds that he himself had planted in my heart... seeds that would keep growing and blossom by his Grace.
Quite a day
Many breakthroughs and much clarity
Baby Raven was not rescued by me and had
the smarts to climb back up the tree high enough
to be out of harms way . That tree reminds me a lot
of the magic faraway tree it's such a hive of activity
Not to mention the nature spirits here , never have i
lived somewhere with so many hidden folk.
Certainly makes for easy work, they have such
rich knowledge of healing and plant lore.No wonder
I'm being drawn to add Bach flowers to my tool bag.
Not a bad tool to have iif TSHTF either.
Love to all
Baby Raven was not rescued by me and had
the smarts to climb back up the tree high enough
to be out of harms way .
I am convinced that the tree was in fact the agency that provided the most aid to the Raven - that and a healthy will to live.
I also wanted the Raven to survive, if it was compatible with the highest and most benevolent outcome for all - so I am pretty happy to hear it has made itself safer.
At the weekend I finished the last of the raised beds in the vegetable patch.
We are tuning to the Magpies, or they are tuning to us. Throwing grubs and having them walking around us to grab a wiggley food we unearth with the digging.
Last year a baby magpie fell out its nest, mother kept feeding it and it secured itself at the base of the (huge) gum tree that it had formerly been nested in.
Initially we didnt realize, but when I walked a bit close, I got a flyby by a worried mummy magpie - once I saw what that was all about (it never happened before) I diverted and moved directly away from the baby.
That baby is probably one of the ones that was "helping us" eat the grubs we don't want in our vege patch soil. A new set of babies are on the way - we can hear them squeaking.
Should be able to get them to feed out my hand soon :)
Good Morning.
I feel like I am exhaling for the first time in a month. Kids are at school. Peace. Quiet. Silence. Energies are all over the place. It is foggy, misty, cool. The bubbling pond draws my attention, where a frog skims the top of the water. A car drives by in the distance. I see a laundry basket...looking away...I detect the faint scent of wood burning somewhere. The grass-like yard cover looks alive with true green, the horse is meandering in the field. Mamadog is lazily watching the horse, not up and barking at it. The rain plops off the porch overhang and lands on a very appreciative pink rose. I hear the hum of something...might want to figure out what that is and unplug it...noise pollution. My fingers are cold, touching the warm keys of the laptop seems comforting, how odd. A hummingbird scares the pediddle out of me as it zooms up in my face, seemingly out of nowhere, stares for a moment, and disappears as quickly.
I am looking forward to chilly weather, when I can feel the comfort of Nora's stove and smell the soup simmering. Funny, I can put wood in the fireplace and make soup...and that is comforting...but Nora's is comforting to my soul...
Much Love,
Went to place to get money, took to bondsman.
Waited about 2 1/2 hours to get Peanut out.
Dealt with all the mail, organized and alphabetized, that had been piling up.
Cleaned kitchen floors and cleaned rugs.
Did 2 loads of laundry.
Washed linens.
Worked on shower door, hung clock in bathroom.
Cleaned bathroom, including sinks and mirrors.
Cleaned Rufus' tank with new filter
Vaccumed M's room and hallway upstairs.
Cleaned fridge doors.
Bagged up donate stuff
Took out 4 bags of trash
Cleaned out my car
Cleaned and reorganized garage
Organized hanging clothes in closet
Got stuff out of living room that didn't need to be there
Put away little one's balls, skateboard, etc.
Watched part of a Cowboys game
Played bass
Listened to music
Went to grocery store.
Looked at house for Peanut.
I kept thinking more time must have passed, looked around and said, well I guess I could...etc., etc.
I explained the help that was requested and received.
Mike said, "Thanks! I was wondering what the heck! Man...Thanks!"
And, Carmody and amandapoet with these dreams...holy guacamole...
That's what prescience is, in my experiences. My mind takes the imagery it knows and put it on the things seen, so the objects can take shape. this particular dream took place this morning for me, and then a few hours later, I get this report. The 'out of time and space' connections are usually only provable to ourselves, which is fitting, I guess.
Then I look at 1inM's avatar..and largely see a blondish woman, head on fist, and I get a glimpse of her daughter. Who apparently, fits Jodi's description well enough that this became the overlay of the impression of her daughter, in my case.
~~~~

you see we were partying,and the situation was of people, together, in a tight space, in a house, and then some aspects of domestication, as in the idea of food, caring, family, and so on. Then this dang gun thing went off, near accidentally ..about the same time as a strong male presence was found, and then the slight aspect of some derision or issue pointed at the woman (whom was Jodi to me), who had foolishly handed me a loaded gun. The gun went off when I handled it, put a hole in the ceiling..... people lived upstairs and around the area...and thus the young woman and some others decided that they had to move out and away.

But then, later on, I was with the young woman, down the road, at a new place, but just me and her, no one else. More like a stop, not a place to live. She seemed a bit exhausted and spent. Basically, that she was on her own, even though the moving out, due to that gunshot, was a complicated and involved decision involving this man, and some aspects of the people in the backdrop.

This is why we have to be careful with channeling and visions. Close, but not close enough to run around with a sword of truth or justice attached to it, running people through or whatnot. only in retrospect, context, and juxtaposition can the shape of it be measured or seen, as either relation or comparative.

edit: for me, astrology plays in quite potently. I would not be surprised to learn that her daughter is a Sagittarius or has strong Sagittarian influences in her birth chart. Also, that the love interest angle rears it's head, which starts with the physical, as a norm. And it was a party issue, alcohol was involved. And some domestic violence. Jodi came from a broken home, was an absolute tour-de-force and was not to be trifled with if she got a head of steam on any issue. She was a Slim, 5'3", drop dead gorgeous polish blond alcoholic -self admitted nymphomaniac. If one wanted to find out what trouble was, they'd take her up on her offer to go out drinking. Once. Always an adventure......

Um...spot on...mostly...no domestic violence any more (insert gratitude here)...she's Taurus, but if you are curious I can PM you her birthday...

That house cleaning thing,..when I'm in a crisis that's what I do. I always thought it was to do with my German genetics ...
When chaos looms...start cleaning and tidying...if your mind can't handle the torrential info download of possible worst case scenarios when faced with a situation of powerlessness, then let the body do the work of creating order. Ironing works quite well, too.
Nothing, however, works as well as the sharing of good-will energetics amongst Villagers.

Been reading up on Saint Augustine this morning.
What a mess he made with his doctrines...all based on his own exaggerated libido.
Fifteen hundred years of church mess from that misogynist.
He condemned astrologers, too.
Yet some statements are worth noting such as:
" In essentials unity, in non-essentials diversity, in all things charity"
Can't fault that one.

The inner planes are an area of what one might call time/space, it is the regions of the psyche expressed topographically, one might say. It is a collective space, yet very individuated in how one might perceive, there. You might think of it as an inverse to the astral, but truth be told, there is much confusion surrounding the subject.

I am wondering if anyone around here knows anything about the folk of the inner planes who have a mantis like appearance. This is not the same as praying mantis medicine, rather something else entirely that resembles the mantis in a general way.

I suspect so would, too. You may be a lone wolf, but you ain't no nutcase psycho.

For instance, if you were a real cold turkey guy you would never even have mentioned that "it was a night to forget"...
You would have simply forced yourself to forget (also known as repress) and charged forward with some other item on your agenda....
Those types do much harm to themselves, because they don't understand that all forced behavior creates an inner rebellion...from within the self, just as forcing others causes revolutions on the outside.

So now I'm curious as to what really happened to <8>....

"What are angels? Are you an angel? Where is heaven? Doesn't invisible mean it's bad? What happens when you die? Do you come back to life? Then what happens..."

I sh*t you not...4 years and 3 months old...........may we be granted the wisdom to answer these appropriately...

Glad things worked out OK with your daughter!

A couple of years ago I listened to a soon to be 5 year old chat in the bath. I began paying more attention when I heard him talk about the "time before I was a baby".
What do you mean, I asked? Before I came into your tummy, he answered, I was flying about with my friends.
OK, I said. How did you choose which mother you wanted?
I didn´t choose, he answered. A wave brought me to you. A wave, but not a water wave, he specified.

I am wondering if anyone around here knows anything about the folk of the inner planes who have a mantis like appearance. This is not the same as praying mantis medicine, rather something else entirely that resembles the mantis in a general way.

John Lash speaks of a mantis being at the center of Gaia. He claims that Mantis is the part of the psychopathic energy signature on this planet. He did a talk on this subject back in the Winter. I wish I could recall more, but I do remember this energy being described as very problematic for the planet. I have not had personal dealings with this energy or beings of this variety and only report third hand info.

How much I resonate with Lash's mantis theory is uncertain for me.

Thanks for that, Swan. WOW!

I have a feeling 1inMany's new avatar is setting the tone for today.
I'm considering following her lead.
A truly unifying standard you are carrying, Ms. 1. Well done.

All I can say is that I resonate with your uncertainty about your own resonance to someone else's theories.

Ok, here is this theory I have:

When you balance everything, including balancing itself, you will start speeding up the growth process and go straight into Ascenscion mode.
(Oops, there is that word again...
quickly, Ulli, descend descend ....
two steps forward, two steps back.)

Ascension is not a dirty word, it's just another word for nothing left to loose (bad song refence).

As for answering little one's question, my father's idea was to show me how to think my way through things and thus take my tender little building and budding mind, and put it in a direction of growth that wired it for growth in intelligence.

he announced that he was not omnipotent, by helping answer as best he could. Then, when it came to things he did not know, we queried (brainstormed) together, and then he left me to brainstorm on my own when he really had no clue. all done as honestly, gently and directly as possible, without the slightest sign of emotions or problems with any of it. he did not emotionalize the situation, with regard to his feelings on letting his kid down by not knowing something. Protection and concern, can be very dirty words and actions, in the hands of the wrong mindset.

He had 12 brothers and sisters, not knowing everything was normal in that environment. besides that, he was raised in the local small school, where everyone was taught in the same room, so every level of knowing, unknowing, and capacity was in the same room, together. Teachers knew this basic method of teaching, and how fundamentally correct it was. To help all around... and then have them move on, when your store of knowing and knowledge was exhausted with respect to the given mutual interaction.

Once again, our base wiring comes into play. it takes a village to raise a child.

thus...instead of licking my brain and sticking it to the television, or trying to be god for me and know everything, he licked my brain and stuck it to itself, into an ever expanding loop. one of constant growth via growing the mechanism required for self inquiry..as a base root function of my mental wiring.

Well said. And lucky you that you had a dad who encouraged you to use your brain and mind
in such a productive way that you know how to think for yourself.

My use of the word "Ascension" is literal...which is the way I use most words...
but then there seems to be a consensus as to what happens when meanings of expressions change...
and I had just been reading it's association on this forum with the GFL, and channeled materials...
so I was being facetious.

Been on the interwebz again:

'At what would turn out to be my last darshan of Maharaj-ji's physical body, I was petrified with fear about returning to the U.S. after so many years. I hadn't worn a pair of jeans or shoes for such a long time that I couldn't imagine what it would be like. I didn't want to ask Maharaj-ji what I should do in America, but all of a sudden I blurted out in anguish, 'Maharaj-ji! How can I serve you in America?' 'He looked at me with mock disgust and said, 'What is this? If you ask how you should serve then it is no longer service. Do what you want.' I couldn't believe my ears. How could doing what I wanted to do be of service to him? I didn't have that kind of faith. I just sat there, stunned. Then after a minute or so he looked over at me, smiling sweetly, and asked, 'So, how will you serve me?' 'My mind was blank. It was time for me to leave for Delhi, to catch the plane back to the States. He was looking at me and laughing. I bent down and touched his feet for the last time and when I looked up he, he was beaming at me, 'So, how will you serve me in America?' I felt like I was moving in a dream. I floated across the courtyard and bowed to him one more time from a distance. As I did, the words came to me, 'I will sing to you in America.' 'Soon afterwards, during the full moon in September, Neem Karoli Baba left his body. Now he had to be found within. The chanting, the meditation, the puja and all the wonderful time spent with Maharaj-ji turned out to be seeds that he himself had planted in my heart... seeds that would keep growing and blossom by his Grace.

Beautiful! Thanks John. Dangerous stuff that going on the interwebz ;)

Those magpies or " Maggies " as we call them here can be
very territorial . Here in nesting season you have to watch
it if you are walking under big trees . They have a habit of
swoopping people and dogs that come anywhere near their
nests . As kids we often had a baby Maggie as pets as they
would often fall out of nests or parents would get killed on
the road .
The favorite one was one we called Charlie who would come
inside and stand in front of the fridge squawking at it the same
way they do for their parents . Feed me feed me .
It took a liking to our terrier dog too and would follow it
everywhere . The terrier , Tammy used to go next door to
our neighbor for sneaky second breakfast, Charlie learnt
that was a great perk and used to turn up too , knocking
on their slinging glass door with his beak .
He couldn't fly for ages so he used to just trot around with
the dog . Which would have saved him form certain death
from the local cats . He even started barking like the dog
Quite an odd couple they were .

I love how this place is turning out to be the house of
birds . I think I will make some bird baths for them in
summer. And I must remember that sticky recipie we
used to make for all the little finches . It was a honey
oatmeal mix that we would put in a cup then push a big
button on a piece of string into the centre of it .
When set we would hang them up in the wattle trees and
the little finches and honey eaters just loved them .
I'm yet to see a cat here I think that's the difference
last place cats were everywhere and. much less birds

1inMany and Swan, I totally relate. My son (7 now) would talk about the time before he was born and describe how he picked our family. He has always had this very deep knowing about spirit...even without my influence. In fact when he was toddler if he got to the tuner for the radio he would put on monk style chanting....I don't even know what station regularly would broadcast that, lol.

1inMany very glad to hear you are having a peaceful moment....and things are getting sorted for Peanut, I would have done the same as her.

Ok, so I am going to put a request out here for some "help" / good intent vibes....
Tomorrow, the DA will be questioning my son to see if going further in pressing charges against my husband is a viable option...now I have come to the point that the personal consequences my husband receives are not the issue...for me, the main concern is that my son can be at peace with his response and that he stays safe from further abuse....

This will be the first time we have had to officially deal with this ongoing issue since my mother's recent passing late June. I must admit that even though both Jonathan and myself know her to be "with us" I do find the lack of her physical presence to be more difficult than I'd like to admit. She had been there from the 1st moment the abuse was disclosed and remained more of our support system than I knew until she died.

My son told me a few days after she died that grandma chose to go to heaven and take his pain with her and so she could be with him during the routines when he would have to talk about "it"...what profound wisdom for a child! Now I just need to keep that with me and remind him of his own words tomorrow....and just let him know whatever the outcome is, it is ok, and he is perfect and without fault ....

So if you could keep us in your thoughts tomorrow 4pm est, we would truly be grateful.

~blessings,
Amanda

Freedom means that ...
anything becomes possible.

I read this book many years ago, and now that I'm manifesting reality faster than ever
I can see how prophetic it was.
To see if there is a catch one has to read the book.

From the song "United States Global Empire" by Mason Jennings

Freedom is not competition
I believe that freedom's got to come from within
Yes it does, not with the gun
Freedom's the ability to feel love for everyone
