Just came back from a major supermarket. I went there to get a specific bag of chips.
while there, I went to the breads and pastries section.
while looking at the -50% priced yummies (pastries cakes, pies, etc)...I found an entire roll of their custom 50% off price stickers. About 500 stickers. Ouch! so I found the guy who lost it (who was still marking stuff down), and gave it back to him. I told him that I was tempted. For a whole 2 seconds. Damn. I always imagined what it would be like to find that roll of stickers...and I give it back. Shoulda known. And I did know that I would have given it back. Can't even dream about that one anymore.
This particular supermarket chain does about $40B a year in sales, and never would have missed it. However, it's the principle of the thing.
Been there, and NOT done that.
Slave to principle.
Darn Lutheran indoctrination was too effective.
P.S. I guess it's the Canadian upbringing in your case...
you should have been a Costa Rican...wouldn't think twice....

The Discordian in me would not have allowed me to capitalize personally from the situation, but I could not have resisted going to the beer section and labeling every single product as half off and then quickly exiting the store. Ha!
edit: I would've made the hot dogs that come in packs of five half off too!

I've been thinking about anointing a certain someone's birthday cake with Holy Water. But, I don't want to clean up the mess.
And I just came back from spending the last couple of days at a friend's funeral. It was Catholic. The person who passed had a hard life. They had a good heart and a gentleness and softness about them. The services were pretty compassionate. Blessed be may they rest in peace. I feel badly for their elderly Mother and the family. Never easy to bury a child.

Good on you Flash. Satanists are two a penny these days (50% off :) ), whereas politicians, as in people practising the art of getting things done on a massive scale for the general good are all too thin on the ground. That's the way forward!

Built my girls a new hen house today, was a fine effort, spring here and really loving being outdoors in it.
Still yet to fully explore a circle that i uncovered in my backyard, but i was clearing around it today,
and holy crap there is some serious energy coming out of that thing.
It seems there have been "workers" here in the past, so the move here is turning out to be more and more
curious by the day.

I posted this on Wade Frazier's thread just now, but thought some of you might be interested in my version of the Pluto Uranus energy mix.
I haven't even looked at their position by signs (Capricorn versus Aries, --which actually would intensify the point I was making.
Pluto and Uranus are squaring now.
This is our chance. A window has opened, or rather, an inter-dimensional gate.
Pluto's energy is comparable to that of a volcano-
a mountain that is not just any mountain, but something more deceptive since deep underneath the pristine flora and fauna there are rivers of hot lava seeking an exit through the blocking rocks.
Meanwhile Uranus' energy is more electric...it needs a duality of a different kind than Pluto. Where Pluto's energy is a long-term build-up Uranus can produce an explosion in an instant...the moment when two opposite poles are at the right distance to one another.
So now these two are meeting...the 90 degree angle in the sky has brought them onto an empty dance floor, or is it a boxing ring?
Each person on earth is experiencing this confrontation on their own inner sky line, and only a few understand the process.
If enough people become aware that this is their chance to bring about the highest good for all, all they need to do is modify their own behavior in such a way as they would like others to behave towards them, then start sending their daydream out into the ether.
And voila! The Golden Age.
Simple.

Life is just too perfect for words. By making your new hen house you discover that you are where you were meant to be...with someone's past efforts giving your work solid foundations.
Meanwhile I just received news that our beloved BenevolentCrow is going to be so busy with her new venture that she is forced to retire from forum life.
She will be missed. When I thought was worth mentioning ... her hen irene passing at this moment in her life is no coincidence...
often new ventures are accompanied by someone or something sacrificing their life energy.
Good ol' Irene.
Please, everyone, lets send a booster to BenevolentCrow's new business that it may become everything she has hoped for.

I have a friend who owns a store specializing in eclectic religious paraphenalia, and from time to time kids wander in and inquire, do they have any books on Satanism. These young people are usually told something to the effect of, if you're really serious about satanism the first book you need to read is the Bible. Most of the time, these kids just leave, without further inquiry.

I thought it was interesting that Barbara Hand Clow came out of 'retirement' from writing astrological articles to give a series on the Uranus-Pluto Square.
Here's the website, it's great reading. Not as here-and-now, personal-for-us-all as Ulli's words, but worthwhile still.

Last night when I went out on the deck to check on Emily and look at the stars, I could hear the wind, upper level swirling in the trees, sounded nearly like rain. It intensified through the night and this morning, the rippling leaves move and shimmer in the sun, so beautiful. Winds always signify change to me, and these feel unusually special, reaching far, enfolding a lot. I didn't know why until I read Ulli's post about the current astrological weather.
I'm glad we are all connected here, it's a very good thing.
Now off to begin the day, sending daydreams out into the ether.

1inMany, I see the Village took such good care of you while I went missing. :) Hubby's stress is a trigger for me too, I can so relate to that one. Handing it off to our guides and letting go was the best thing I ever did.
<cracking up at the sight of Playdo plastering 50% off all over the beer ... > <I'm SURE the guys at the checkout counter would swiftly realize something was up at the sight of beer pouring out of the store ... >
I'm out on the deck typing this. Three of the ridges are in sunlight now, the garden still in shade. Humming birds darting. Bird feeder swaying. I'm in a chirp fest with a Thrush glorying in the nutbowl. :) Chirp chirp. Chirp chirp.

In the empire of the senses
You're the queen of all you survey
All the cities, all the nation
Everything that falls your way, I say
There is a deeper world than this that you don't understand
There is a deeper world that this tugging at your hand
Every ripple on the ocean
Every leaf on every tree
Every sand dune in the desert
Every power we never see
There is a deeper wave than this, swelling in the world
There is a deeper wave than this, listen to me girl
Feel it rising in the cities
Feel it sweeping overland
Over borders, over frontiers
Nothing will it's power withstand, I say
There is no deeper wave than this rising in the world
There is no deeper wave than this listen to me girl
All the bloodshed, all the anger
All the weapons, all the greed
All the armies, all the missiles
All the symbols of that fear, I say
There is a deeper wave than this rising in the world
There is a deeper wave than this, listen to me girl
At the still point of destruction
At the centre of the fury
All the angels, all the devils
All around us, can't you see?
There is a deeper wave than this rising in the land
There is a deeper wave than this nothing will withstand
I say love is the seventh wave
I say love is the seventh wave
I say love is the seventh wave
I say love is the seventh wave
I say love is the seventh wave
I say love is the seventh wave
I say love
Every ripple on the ocean
Every leaf on every tree
Every sand dune in the desert
Every breath you take with me
Every breath you take, every move you make
Every cake you bake, every leg you break

Was awoken by the squawking of chickens at 3:00 AM last night to find a huge raccoon looking for some meat. I ran it out of there and then ran down the chickens running around my yard. I had to batten down the hatchets and strengthen the security. My hens were pretty upset, but they calmed down. If that raccoon came by once he'll surely be back. Pesky varmint!

Darn, I knew I had left out an important factor.
Four eyes see better than two, or should I make that three eyes...
Two for me and one for you.
Neptune erodes, and so does Pisces energy. It breaks down old structures.
It is a gradual process...water carries away matter from one place and then piles it up somewhere else.
Pisces is the most subversive sign, but it can also bring in the fragrances of another world as a reminder for those who are not misled.
It is either the call of the sirens that mislead or the choir of heavenly voices that lift up the spirit, beckoning.
To distinguish which direction the music is coming from takes at the least an awareness that there are directions at all, and consequences in case of taking a wrong turn.
Because there are different levels of density and compactness, and freedom is never found if one follows the call of deception. There is only bondage and less mobility down that road, and it narrows the longer one is on it. It always starts out wide and inviting-looking, like a smooth highway.
The other option is reverse...by voluntarily choosing a rocky road one can find that things improve with time and effort, until finally after long periods of training, hardships and purging, the self is transformed, and a new being has emerged, one which is in harmony with all that is. It's worth the struggle...but if one is honest to begin with it is no struggle at all.

If enough people become aware that this is their chance to bring about the highest good for all, all they need to do is modify their own behavior in such a way as they would like others to behave towards them, then start sending their daydream out into the ether.
And voila! The Golden Age.
Simple.
All that, with Neptune fully settling into Pisces.
Still not done my astrology homework, but this sure sounds good :)
Really deserves it's own thread titled something like. "The Astrological Alignments Bringing in New Energies" or something like that. This last quarter of 2012 is loaded with them.

Thank you AB and Jenci for Adyashanti!
Although I haven´t felt like reading for quite som time, I ordered his book "The end of your world". I am not really reading it, just opening it randomly when there is something I need to understand. I am amazed at how his words correspond with what I am experiencing.
Such a Beautiful Man. And as much as I appreciate his words, his silences are heart opening. ( 1.59 - 2.18 )

Hi Swan,
I am so glad you got the book - it's an extraordinary book. It held my hand as I went through some rather puzzling and frightening processes after my initial awakening. I used to just pick the book up randomly and read exactly what I needed to hear that day.
I too get very moved by his silence. I see someone whose mind has nothing to say.....he speaks only when his heart moves him to speak.

All that, with Neptune fully settling into Pisces.
Spaceship 'Mother Earth' is about to arrive in a Whole New Arena of Energy the likes of which has never been Felt...Hang On : ) : ) : )

While assembling a book case this morning at my husband's new office I noticed dozens of black crows outside on the lawn, reminded me of Hitchcock's The Birds. Most unusual. Now you come out with the same story. What's with this?

The astro stuff explains why i have been working sooo hard the last few weeks,
i have my main two teachers working overtime for me, to make sure I'm all on
track with some final deeper clearings. Finally i have been able to get to the root
of a few things that i have been unable to untangle on my own.
Old religious patterning, very sticky stuff, especially for a 6 year old.
So it's intense right now, to understate things but also a huge relief, its like i have
been finally "given" permission. When i get this one thing sorted many many cards
will then fall into place.
I had one meeting at my 4am this morning and another at 11am, and in between
that i went outside and found a baby Raven in my back yard, maybe the same one
that i saw fall from the tree last week. It was unable to clear the fence, and was
stuck down the side of my house. At first i put some fresh meat out for it, but
before long it was obvious it was not yet feeding itself, so then i went to plan b
and caught it and crated it to protect it until i assessed the situation. It was very
sweet, didn't fight me at all. I crated it and gave it some water and covered the
crate to keep it calm while i waited for the sun to come up. When i went out later,
the parents were hanging around, so i opened the crate and watched to see
if they would still feed it, and they did. By the end of the morning it had found
shelter in the lower branches of a tree, and mum and dad were still feeding it,
so i was confident that it would soon have enough strength to clear the fences.
The parents were much grateful for the big tray of minced beef that i put out for
them, I'm not sure my dogs were too happy to share their food though.
Standard Poodles are known " bird dogs" another reason why i was happy that
i didn't have to take it in and raise it myself , it would have been a tad tricky.
Although neither of them have ever killed a bird, they like to chase them, and
birds can easily die of fright.
So happy ending to my Raven story.
Now to get to my work with my 6 year old self, my homework for this week.
I would be chronicling things, here, only that to stop and have to language things,
takes me away from where the work is at, and then it all becomes protracted.
I might write something about it when the process is more complete.

Hi my friends. Heartfelt greetings to all - and blessings.
Life moves on, as it is want to do. Working my little tail off. 10 to 16 hours a day. Even some Sundays. Have rose to the top in my job, as I always do. Start running my own 5-man crew next week. This life-style is instinctual and requires very little effort or thought on my part. My biggest challenge is dragging my tired and sore butt out of bed every day. But a half hour of deep breathing and meditation always brings me to peak efficiency for the day.
Today is Sunday and I do not have to work. Yeah! My wife, girlfriend doesn't do it, Val is getting a kitten today. The reason she wants a cat is because, due to circumstances too boring to go into, she has taken care of her daughter's kitty for the past three weeks. We both grew very attached to Spooky (renamed Max by Val - and the new cat will also be Max, hehe). Her daughter reclaimed her cat yesterday and Val broke down, balling her eyes out, saying she loved Max and didn't want to part with him. After much coaxing and the promise of getting her her own kitty she relented and gave her daughter her cat back.
So Max 1 is gone. I miss him too. Animals often bond with me in an understanding way hard to describe. There is a knowing we share. A knowing I know what they know and they know I know they know. It is like an acceptance without pretense, if that makes any sense. Max was my buddy, my equal. He'd come in and talk to me, shoot the sh!t, then lie down next to me and purr away like a motorboat - such a soothing sound - making sure to keep a paw touching me to keep the physical connection intact. And I'd reach down and absently give him a good rubbing and stroking the way cats like - like their own mommies used to do...
And now we are on our way to get Max 2 from the humane society. Quite the complicated process really. They require two pieces of governmental ID and a letter from our landlord. Plus we have to attend an orientation of some sort. What next, a credit check and a blood sample? LOL
So that's my life. Sweet, sweet life. Mundane yet poignant, and personal.
Healing thoughts to all in need. Love to all.
Hugs

I'm about to throw together a bacon-pumpkin-curry soup into the crockpot. Might sound weird but I made something similar once before and it totally rocked! I can't wait till it is done ... mmmm!
1 pack of bacon - minus what gets eaten in the process - (cooked drained crumbled)
1 very large tin of pumpkin meat
1 can stewed tomatoes chopped
2-3 potatoes finely chopped
1 onion finely chopped
1-2 garlic clove finely chopped
4 cups chicken / ham broth
1/2 tsp curry powder
1/2 tsp garam masala
salt and pepper
1/4 tsp chipotle powder
1 tablespoon lime juice
1 tablespoon brown sugar
1 cup cream
Just through it in the crockpot except below,
Add bacon, cream, curry and garam masala near the end - bring back to full heat - not boiling.
It turned out so good I didn't even think of adding anything else. ;)
One of the best soups I ever made - everyone went back for thirds ;)

funny sync on the cat stories. Scooter's been gone almost a year now, and I think we're almost ready for a new one. The GF been visiting all the pet stores and websites looking for something, but thus far I have not yet found "The One". The neighborhood cats can sense my fondness and desire for their species and I am so tempted to steal one of those - just because they won't stay away anyway. Even though I forbid anyone in our family feed any of the neighbor's cats they just will not stay out of my house. It doesn't help that they both are adorably cute and very friendly. The next door neighbor's cat even greets me when I come home from work and tries to come into the house with me.
I'm a little bent on getting a Norwegian Forest Cat, but there seems to be none in this city whatsoever ...

Ernie, I was just thinking of you today. And another little sync, around the time you were posting this, I was on the deck with my cat Emily, and she had put her paw on my foot, and left it there, the first time she'd done that. That physical connection you talked about.
Love to you and Val, and Max 2.
I've spent lots of time on the deck this weekend; the days are exceedingly beautiful. Several crows were stirring up a ruckus this morning, cawing and flying from tree to tree. Stirring up benevolent energy.
Echoing what Ulli said earlier about how important our intentions are now, here's what Barbara Hand Clow said:
http://www.handclow2012.com/News/Intentions2ndUP.pdf
Choosing Your Intentions: Second Uranus/Pluto Square
September 19, 2012
Copyright 2012 by Barbara Hand Clow
In my analysis of the first Uranus/Pluto square on June 24, 2012, I suggested we are awakening the human heart. Now in September, the field of the Uranus-Pluto squares is locked firmly in our lives like a visegrip; anybody noticing? This field is intensely creative, which causes our thoughts to manifest all around us, so we are challenged to clearly and wisely intend what we want to create. Whenever we navigate reality by means of clear intentions, we utilize quantum forces—the highly accelerated energy field that creates events based on what’s in our minds. Because more and more people have learned how to create this way, miracles are happening.

Ya I'm not 100% sold on the dill yet either .. it may work. I'll have to wait until near the end and just quick sniff between the two aromas will let me know the compatibility. My nose is the real chef in me ;)
I also didn't have chicken broth (thought I did) so I cut a quarter pack of the bacon off to boil for a ham broth. Should still be good, with a sweet smokey aroma ;)

Sitting on our terrace tonight, sipping coconut water and hearing the river roaring louder than ever.
Husband has been investigating the electricity lines from the main meter by the road to where the nearest buildings will go up. The decision is underground cables. Even though the distance is 100 m there are ways to do this by passing the wires through two PVC conduits, a one inch and a half inch conduit. Works out less than half the price of a two inch conduit. Is Ernie still around? One more question...which would be better, cable #2 or #4?

Hmmm ... 230 amps (10 cabins * 20 amps/cabin + 30 amps) for 100 meters?
Underground?
You're way over my head on that one ... I doubt that #2 or #4 gauge will come close to what you need.

Yeah, I know, that is a problem.

Costa Rica:
Line and neutral at 120VAC , same as USA and Canada. probably 220 two phase and 220 three phase, in the same way. Gonna check on that. Can't find that info, but it is likely the same.
Thus, the wiring will come in at, oh, 220 two phase and then be broken down for each place. Higher voltage is the better anyway, as this gets more into 'field' conditions than current drive and this drops costs for the wiring. 100M is a LONG run, about 340ft for the underground part alone. Expect to hit a good 400ft, overall. #2 gauge is likely the deal, at minimum, considering the total loading. 400 ft through a 1" pipe would be a real bear to pull. You might have to go to a underground rated ('bury rated') cable and leave it at that. Then go to buried conduit from the breakout for the cottages.
Is it a case of doing a single line then breaking out to each cottage? That is the cheaper way to go, the proper, one might say. However that's 10-11 junctions. Not unusual, they do it all the time in suburbs. Ernie should know...
I was going to buy my dad a roll of bury rated copper wire for his garage, which was a 880ft run, and at the time the wire needed to be 00 or 000, I can't recall. He needed 220VAC, three phase, at a minimum of 100amps. It was almost cheaper to have a new transformer put in near the garage, instead of coming off the house line, and running the 880ft. Your distance is under half but your load is at least as high.

Great input, everyone. We have quite a few options. It's still early days. The upper terrace where we are planning on building four cottages could be reached from the main road which runs along just above a steep slope which is overgrown with bamboo. These cottages could be served by an overhead cable which wouldn't be too visible.
Here is a picture of the upper terrace. The bamboo slope I mentioned is on the right, and the cottages would be built to the left of the lane. The lower area is to be developed later, although our own house will go there, too, and we may start building it early next year. If we were to run an overhead cable to our house the cottages would have their scenic view ruined.
Thats what this is about, mainly.

which would be better, cable #2 or #4?
That depends on how much current (amps) you plan to draw through the lines.
Maximum ten cabins of 20 amp circuits, perhaps 30 amps for our own home.
I know that sounds ambitious, but I want to be ready in case we win the lottery.
Seriously this is not something you can work out on a forum. You are going to need details of the local substation, voltage, how high the voltage is underground, what phases can be delivered. You may even need some transformers.
The problem with electricity is that cables are not free from resistance. The longer they are the more the voltage drops when under load. Most building electrical codes specify the maximum permissible drop. Voltage drop increases with current drawn, which warms the wires up (using power that you have probably paid for as they stick the meter before the 240 run up to the property). For this reason most electricity distribution is done at high voltage so the wires dont have to be so thick. Out where I am, all the rural houses have their own transformer on a pole, and mine was 100m from my house. At 240v codes required #000 gauge cable (nearly 90mm˛). Lucky the predecessor was the one that footed the bill for that....

Edit - I see Carmody covered this now, but I'll leave it for the extra flavouring :)

Have been to a big harvest festival from an agricultural cooperative, that is a poster-child for organic farming and working with mentally handicapped people. When I saw the energies and the joy and verve there, when they were carelessly rejoicing in singing, dancing, drumming and affectionately welcoming the visitors it made me wonder who is actually really handicapped.

It just occurred to me, while watching this video with my daughter that this part has some resemblance with the ego and the true self.
The Ape representing the monkey mind and Mowgli the true self.
The ego is always trying to be someone that it is not (the true self) , tirelessness seeking to find the peace and happiness that is emanating from the true self.
I wonder if the artist of the story had that in mind.

Well, Meeradas, let me wipe those tears away. There, there...
Those German beer hall songs performed by fem Italians used to make me cry, too. I left the country in the end, because I couldnt stand drunken sentimentality. My German family never understood, not to this day.
The weird coincidence is that here is this guy, and is singing about Azzurro...or maybe Arturo, and Arturo used to be my husband's landlord 22 years ago in Barbados when we first met and during our first big romance days, and we just heard that he had died in a hospital in Miami last week. And that news became a tear jerker for us.
The Jesus song is so well made and structured and scripted it makes me want to cry, too, but then I catch myself, just in time, and say, no way! Do I really need a song like that to make me remember this kind of truth? The production is so
slick it makes me suspicious. But I showed the video to my husband who is a person who cries easily, just to test him, and at the end I discovered that his eyes were dry. Surprise! He only said, Very nice, very well made. So I asked him why it didn't make him cry
And his answer was : 'because I feel loved already, and I feel understood already'.

Your soul is being liberated. Embrace it for now. It will temper over time, not unlike the sensation that people report when they quit smoking. All senses super heightened for a short while. You're in good company around here. Sometimes we don't even know what year it is.
Or which millennium. The other day, I caught my self writing the year "199something."
It's been 17 years that I've lived where I am. Even as I write this I pull out my calculator to check the math. It was yesterday that I moved. Years before, 20 + 17 to be precise, I'd drive past and it seemed way, way far away. It had a haunting feel to it. Strange language in my explanation. But now I know why.
Three months after my son's passing, I made the decision to start fresh. I went to check out an apartment and a dark grey cold feeling came over me when I pulled in. I cried. I made the assumption I wasn’t ready, yet feared that I’d be frozen in a time that no longer existed.
It took two more months before I witnessed “the me” pick up the local paper, open to a page and the only listing I saw out of 50 or so was a phone number to call. My fingers dialed the number and was invited to check it out. Just as Lori gave directions, this place popped into my head. No need for directions.
I stepped inside and knew it was mine. From newspaper to agreement, it took less than an hour. That weekend I moved. Through the night, I tip-toed around so as not to wake the neighbors, all boxes unpacked, books stacked, cupboards and closet filled and curtains hung.
This place has magic. Some day it won’t. It will happen as quick as it did when I moved in.

Marianne, a couple of weeks ago, I purchased a Hurom juicer. It squeezes out all the goodness from such as these I've tried so far: kale, spinach, parsnip, fennel and even golden beets (which is new to me). My favorite among my favorites is called, "Avacado Ginger Detox Juice": 1 green apple, 1 avocado, 4 carrots, 1" ginger root.
I figured in case the dollar isn't worth the paper it's printed on, I mine as well spring for this model. So, along with a solar panel, my grass and tree friends of the forest will provided nourishment for me and anyone that happens along the path.
Though, I don't see it as my reality. I say this in part because where I live there's only the puffy kind of clouds.

Yarrow was used by the natives for 'bad blood' from trauma (physical and emotional). It also lowers blood pressure, not a bad thing for me with the pressure from work lately. Going back to look at that Costa Rica pic ... that must lower blood pressure too.
Modwiz, wishing you all the best on your journey.
That carrot/pineapple juice can be bought in many small street-side restaurants here.
If you were to call me from the airport now I'd be out of bed, showered and dressed like a flash to come and collect you.
This goes for all the other villagers, too, by the way.
Which goes to show that the Internet connection can still be trumped by 3D... although I'm not complaining. We are doing ok here, and our connections feel mighty real.

About that joke with the spell from Modwiz.
On second thought, maybe it was better to just wish you the best energies for a good result! So here you go!
I am curious though what that spell is all about.
Maybe you'll let us in on it in time.
My definition of a "spell" is going with the flow and see what I see. And 99.99999% (no make that 100%) of the time I land right where I need to be.
Thought some times it feel like a combination of "Crazy Eight Ball" and "The Game of Chutes and Ladders"

Every time we go out to shop for more than just the basics we have to return to our valley via this road, from where I took this picture.
Our home is in the distance where the river seems to end. From this place it still takes about 15 minutes by car to get there.
I always wish I could just glide home from there instead of drive.

Hi family,
Checking in. I got home safe & sound, although I brought back a case of the blues. So, I think I'll inhale the uplifting fragrance of love from our Here and Now...and rest.
Love you all,

Meeradas made me weep, Anchor made me fall over laughing with the tractor, the Praying Mantis (YES!!! On our deck yesterday! Light brown, not green! Thank you WCBD, that was SO RIGHT ON what Praying Mantis is telling me ... time to pay attention to my body). Viral Spiral's hilarious UFO catalog ... sometimes my emotions feel like a tennis match reading this thread.
Marianne, orange juice with pineapple is WONDERFUL!!! David made some yesterday. Gimme that baggage, I'll piss on it.
WCBD: Oh that sounds tasty ... "My favorite among my favorites is called, "Avacado Ginger Detox Juice": 1 green apple, 1 avocado, 4 carrots, 1" ginger root."
Ulli: The road of stone you built, it is absolutely gorgeous.
Oh goodie, we-R-one found us. I wuz hoping she would! Hi! Welcome to the Village. :)
Yesterday, we brought home TWO (How could we choose? We couldn't.) baby Bombay kittens yesterday!!! EEEEEEKS!) (OH that eau de catfood smell wafting from the kitchen floor, the grit underfoot in Dave's bathroom where they've been playing in the litter box ... ). The little girl ended up sleeping directly under my head under the bed, and I WONDER if it is because I have my crystal wand pointing at my head ... and therefore she joined me in the zone of electro-magnetic quietude ...
Lucy and Berry?
Sam and Rosie?
Bill and Paul? (Sorry, inside joke!)
Any ideas?
Chirp chirp is here, and while we were conversing a humming bird came and hovered next to Chirp chirp who proceeded to chirp even more madly at me lol.
Love, Sierra

Ulli, looking at this picture, I want to be in Costa Rica here and now. As I sit here at my work computer on a Monday morning. Wishing for connections.
My surrounds are not that bad ... lots of Nature. Lots of baggage too.
Made juice this morning. I know it looks horrid, but it's very nice to drink. the orange one is carrots, an orange (peeled but with the white pith left on, very nutritious), and pineapple. The green one is red grapes, a peeled lemon, celery, and a little kale.

We have a whole lot of beds which are not being used, including pet beds. At the beach house we have spare:
a wooden queen sized bed, a queen sized futon, and a queen sized blow-up air bed. So 4 couples could sleep there, comfortably. Only one bathroom, which can be a drag... and we really ought to get off of our butts and instal the second one soon.
Here we live in these two moth-eaten cottages...beware...bats in the roof...the one we live in has our own bedroom, plus a single bed in Luis office where the cat sitter sleeps when we are not here.
In the other cottage across the yard there is a single bed in the guest room, and queen sized bed which is currently being stored. The bathroom in that cottage is really nice, and even has hot water. Most Costa Ricans have what is called suicide showers, with the electric heating element directly over your head.
So the potential of me starting a B&B or guest house is constantly staring me in the face...the reason I'm not going ahead and doing it is that I'm too addicted to being online and talking to you all.

“Animal Spirit Guides,” by: Steven D. Farmer, PhD. - (particle list)
If CAT shows up, it means:
- This is a period where self-sufficiency and trust in your own capabilities is necessary.
- Honor your sensuality by dancing slowly, with graceful and easy movements, and by enjoying touch and physical intimacy.
- Listen closely to your intuitive guidance, as it’s most likely an ancestor who’s one of your spirit guides trying to communicate with you.
- This is a period of magic and mystery for you, so pay attention to signs and omens that will guide and direct you.
- Whatever you’ve released - relationships, material goods, self-defeating habits - will soon be replaced with something or someone entirely roe suitable for you are presently.
Call on CAT when:
- You feel so wrapped up in someone else’s life that you’re not sure where you begin and the other ends.
- You’re in an intense period of self-reflection, exploring some new dimension of yourself.
- You’ve been working much too hard, and it’s time to play.
If CAT is your POWER ANIMAL:
- You’re introspective and listen to your own internal guidance more than others’ advice.
- You’re independent, sometimes to the point of doing exactly the opposite of what others expect or want you to do.
- Your most creative work is done at night.
Y- ou move gracefully and naturally, exuding a mysterious sensuality.
- At times you come across as rather self-absorbed, seeming oblivious to those around you.

I think I have been adopted by a local cat. It keeps turning up in the back garden. Sometimes it is sitting outside the front of the house. It comes up to me when I am in the garden although I have to shut the back door so it does not go indoors.......and I have told it that it can't go indoors
The other week I heard a noise in the front room. I went in and the cat was hanging up at the window trying to crawl in. Quite how it got up there I don't know but it must have been some jump !
It (I think it is a she) actually reminds me of one of my dogs who has passed......or it could be two of them. Hmmm.......

To remember the difference between the two terms, a pleonasm is saying 'tautologically the same thing' (James Joyce). Borges gives examples of oxymorons in his story 'The Zahir': contradictions in terms like 'black sun'. ANd he describes as an oxymoron the situation where he comes away from a dear friend who has just died and then picks up a bad penny (the Zahir of the title). Read that story and you'll never forget the word again.

Funny synchronicity Araucaria, I just got through reading this in my email, from the "World Wide Words E-Magazine:
"2. Weird Words: Perissology
I come to this word in the hope that the piece you are about to read won’t be an example of it. Perissology means using more words than necessary to explain one’s meaning, a pleonasm. Since perissology is three letters longer than pleonasm but means the same, you may argue it’s an example of the related habit of using long words when shorter ones will do.
The word comes to us from the post-classical Latin of the fourth or fifth century AD. Romans of classical times knew it as a Greek word, perissologia, which came from perissos, beyond the usual number or size, redundant, superfluous. The prefix perisso- is known in two other very uncommon English words: perissosyllabic, a line of verse that has more syllables than normal, and perissodactyl, a grazing mammal with hooves made up of an odd number of toes, which sounds obscure but is a characteristic of horses as well as tapirs and rhinoceroses. Its opposite is artiodactyl, having an even number of toes, which refers to mammals such as pigs, deer, goats and cattle.
Perissology came into English at the end of the sixteenth century but was never anything more than an obscure literary word. In recent centuries it has mainly been exploited for humorous effect.
His inscience of avitous justicements, and of lexicology, his perissology and battology, imparted to his tractation of his cause, an imperspicuity which rendered it immomentous to the jurator audients.
Letters to Squire Pedant, by Samuel Klinefelter Hoshour, 1856. This described a lawyer pleading his case. It says that his knowledge of old judgements and the nature of words, plus his unnecessary repetition, made his case so obscure the jury decided it was unimportant. Battology is another word for perissology; hair-splitting scholars find a distinction between battology, perissology and pleonasm, but we may let that pass us by."

Borges gives examples of oxymorons in his story 'The Zahir': contradictions in terms like 'black sun'. You add the peeled and chunked avocado in with the rest a little at a time. The key with dryer items, you change it up with wetter ones. It makes for a creamy texture. I also soaked "Irish-Style Oatmeal" for another drink that had mostly fruits which made it creamy, too.
There's also a recipe that you soak almonds for 8 hours and add vanilla and maple syrup or honey for almond milk. I tossed in walnuts to soak too. They were calling me. I ended up eating them all.
Note to self: soak almonds and walnuts; shop for vanilla because I'm sure the other bottle has evaporated by now.

Hmmm, my speech, not my writing, is quite often emblematic of perissology. Frequently, my response to the glazed over expression of others is to explain what I have said repeatedly, using different words to convey the same point, until even the glazed expression on the face of my victim takes on a particular, shall I say, wilted quality.

We stopped by Barnes and Noble for a bite, and I wandered over to SciFi and Fantasy (teen) and opened ONE book ... ONE book ... that turned out to be about Project MONTAUK! Hah! I did not dare peruse, I'm sure my brain would have gone kabluie and bam, trying to reconcile the truth of Montauk as spoken of by a teen age female protagonist heroine. (Did I just say an oxymoron?)
Eating out at Barnes & Noble, that's a new one on me, although I've devoured a few books myself in my time :)
Don't know about an oxymoron (teenage heroine?), but there was definitely a pleonasm or two in there...
Protagonist heroine! (All the Barnes and Noble I've been to have a latte/sweets/quiche/sandwich deli with tables ...)
That's a pleonasm. And female heroine is another :)
My female bookshop is usually Amazon and they never serve more than an email even with a book on food
omg, I did TWO! Ack! I'm wordy I'm wordy!
Yeah, I buy most of my books on Amazon too, and they never feed me ... humph.

L.

PS Use what fits & assists and chuck the rest.
Hmmm.......
Jeanette
Time to open the front door. When cats decide to crash the party nothing can keep them out.
Right, PurpleLama?
I predict that everyone in your household will be dancing on the tables soon, including Kitty, and have a ball.

Barnes & Noble I use to live there. Lots of my retirement money was redirected into mind power. And my dirty little secret? I use to read books for free and hide the current read on the bottom shelf of the little used section. I rationalize that I purchased several books a month and drank lots of expensive coffee while I was there. Which made me a really, really, really good speed reader. Ha!
Thanks for that Playdo. Lawyer's logorrhea (which means exactly what you think it means!) came from their written briefs being paid by the word, so the more the merrier, which naturally led to increasing levels of abstruseness as well as in-depth analysis. One legal case I was indirectly involved with took the search for legal precedent all the way back to the 15th century...
Of course this is a far cry from poetry. In French we have the saying 'Entre deux maux choisir le moindre' meaning choose the lesser of two evils. The poet Valéry writes 'mots' (words) instead of 'maux' (evils), so his poetic principle is to choose the smaller of two words. Which is pretty neat because he gets two mottoes for the price of one.

:pound::pound::pound::pound: I've experienced that ...
When I was working, programmers would come up to me and ask me a question only they would put SEVERE LIMITS on how I could answer them, before I could answer them. (I swear, they thought I was throwing books at them). (Moi? How dare they ...)

I find that perissology attracts glazey-eyed people anyway,
nothing to do with my verbal diarrhea.
Same way as it does spongy-eared people.
The universe withholds the ones who are like me,
so as to spare the world from tipping over.
If I have to attend a seminar where someone else is in front and is giving a discourse holding a microphone in their hands
I get an uncontrollable urge to grab it from them and take the center stage.
I have to expend so much energy on self control that I can never remember afterwards what they were talking about.
Been working on that by not attending seminars...oh well....

It is so beautiful outside right now. The heat of the day subsiding.
I'm pondering exactly how him buying sheets and picking out curtains is like me following my spiritual path. This rather irks me. I'm not airing the whole damned thing, but suffice it to say an issue has arisen.
Moment by moment I change. For the better, I hope. And even with these baby steps toward Home, I roll my eyes at this kind of sh!t. Oh, I tell myself, embrace it with love. Patience. Patience. Patience.
I have been doing the same song and dance for a long time, knowing the middle spell is the real deal. The best thing I ever did for myself was remove myself from the ferris wheel to become a spectator. He hates that the most, saying I'm distant. Well, hell yeah, lol, that's not my ride, dude. Loving and supporting, understanding from literally years of research and practice, and it is still the same song and dance.
I'm singing My own tune now, dancing to My own beat. And, truly, it is exhilarating, and terrifying, and magnificent...
And I just roll my eyes and say, yep, here we go again. With love and support, and weariness, I refresh my dedication to a long standing commitment.
The doctor, also, did not cooperate in exactly the way I wanted her to. I wanted to drop Effexor by 50mg, or one third. I have already been counting the little balls inside the capsule, so I am ready for the 50mg. Not what she called in, though, so I will be dropping a little quicker than I anticipated. Things happen for a reason though, and I intuit this will be okay.
So, my logical mind knows this drop has a profound effect on my mood, probably enhancing the blues. But, sad feels sad no matter the cause.
Got my EG in the mail today, so I suspect I will be starting it in the morning...good timing on the part of the all wise universe :) I bet it will even balance me out a bit. Um, but not too much I hope :)
All my love to you all, through the struggles of this life on this day...

Dark matter DNA active in brain during day-night cycle
Working with material from rat brains, the researchers found some expanses of DNA contained the information that generate biologically active molecules. The levels of these molecules rose and fell, in synchrony with 24-hour cycles of light and darkness. Activity of some of the molecules peaked at night and diminished during the day, while the remainder peaked during the day and diminished during the night. The material came from the brain structure known as the pineal gland.
Located in the center of the human brain, the pineal gland helps regulate the body's responses to day and night cycles, the researchers explained. In the evenings and at night, the pineal gland increases production of melatonin, a hormone that synchronizes the body's rhythms with the cycle of light and dark. In many species, the pineal gland also plays a role in seasonally associated behaviors, such as hibernation and mating, as well as in sexual maturation.
The biologically active material arising from the pineal gland DNA is called long noncoding RNA (lncRNA). The lncRNA is distinct from the better-known messenger RNA (mRNA), which serves as a kind of template to translate the information contained in DNA for the manufacturing of proteins. The lncRNAs appear instead to be involved in activating, blocking or altering the activity of genes or influencing the function of the proteins, or acting as scaffolds for the organization of complexes of proteins. The researchers' use of next-generation sequencing methods detected the lncRNA activity in addition to the mRNA they originally targeted, which helped them in making their discovery.

There is a tree I can see from my window, through a gap between houses.
This tree is one of the trees I "heard" about six years ago when awakening began. Anyway,
these last months I began to realize that something was not right with the tree. In truth, it felt to me as though it was traumatized. I couldn´t figure it out. The thought rested at the back of my mind, and then one day this summer when I passed the tree I understood. The other trees nearby had been cut down in the last couple of years, due to disease. Of course, this tree was missing her friends. And what was worse, the cut down tree next to her had been left lying on the ground for the children to play on. So, maybe this was the explanation, but I still didn´t know what to do about it, except rest my hand on her when passing.
Then, a couple of weeks ago when I was sitting by the sea just being, I suddenly felt a very strong connection to the tree in my heart, and some sort of healing took place. I also had the idea to place orgonite at her trunk.
But the days past and I sort of forgot, and the tree still seemed sad. Then, the other evening just as I had put the kids to bed, I noticed we were out of catfood. The last thing I felt like doing was going out to the shop, but the cat needed feeding. So, out I went. On the walk back from the shop, I saw the moon, and I remembered about the orgonite. So, I returned home, got my orgonite and a small spade and burried it beside the tree ( hoping noone would see ).
And today, when I passed the tree, she felt happy :)

I have a favourite in this genre, behold:
Voila! In view humble vaudevillian veteran, cast vicariously as both victim and villain by the vicissitudes of fate. This visage, no mere veneer of vanity, is a vestige of the “vox populi” now vacant, vanished. However, this valorous visitation of a bygone vexation stands vivified, and has vowed to vanquish these venal and virulent vermin, van guarding vice and vouchsafing the violently vicious and voracious violation of volition. The only verdict is vengeance; a vendetta, held as a votive not in vain, for the value and veracity of such shall one day vindicate the vigilant and the virtuous. Verily this vichyssoise of verbiage veers most verbose, so let me simply add that it’s my very good honour to meet you and you may call me V.

I'm about to throw together a bacon-pumpkin-curry soup into the crockpot. Might sound weird but I made something similar once before and it totally rocked! I can't wait till it is done ... mmmm!
1 pack of bacon - minus what gets eaten in the process - (cooked drained crumbled)
1 very large tin of pumpkin meat
1 can stewed tomatoes chopped
2-3 potatoes finely chopped
1 onion finely chopped
1-2 garlic clove finely chopped
4 cups chicken / ham broth
1/2 tsp curry powder
1/2 tsp garam masala
salt and pepper
1/4 tsp chipotle powder
1 tablespoon lime juice
1 tablespoon brown sugar
1 cup cream
Just through it in the crockpot except below,
Add bacon, cream, curry and garam masala near the end - bring back to full heat - not boiling.
It turned out so good I didn't even think of adding anything else. ;)
One of the best soups I ever made - everyone went back for thirds ;)
Soup Update!
One of the best soups ever!
I updated the recipe to reflect closer to what I did - added lime juice and brown sugar, no dill.
An incredible soup that one could easily add almost any kind of other vegetables to. Mushrooms would be nice.

Today has been, is, a day of mourning for me, of both real and imaginary dreams and hopes, what is and what isn't, what could have been but won't. This will soon give way to what will be. I do not yet know this new illusory reality, but it is promising to be perfect...as were the old and outgrown. As I was doing the dishes this morning, I realized that only half of the liquid swirling down the drain was water from the tap. (note to self-add tissue to the grocery list.)
It will take me some time to become comfortable without the part of me I am leaving behind, no doubt it will take some time to stop the leak in fact. But I have faith. PL told me that faith is having confidence in what you know. With my anchor and my faith, I push on.

I noticed that the most important part was mentioned.
Not boiling. It is the boiling that kills a stew, mix or soup. Never allow it to boil, or the full separate-but-connected flavour mix is destroyed and the thing never reaches the full complexity and subtlety of palate teasing that it can..when it is properly done. Thus it is a TIME consuming process to do these things right. Never allow it to burn or go to boil.
The greases and other heavy components can confine the heat to the bottom (they insulate), if too sharp a change in heating (increased heat) is allowed, and then this can lead to burning at the bottom, with no sign of such at the top. When you see it, it is already too late.
A way around this, if one has no crock pot, is to set up a large bain-marie type cooking scenario, and thus the heating elements AND the negative effects of electricity can be negated.
The 'bain Marie' was invented by the famous Jewish Alchemist Marie, in order to prevent burning and sudden heating of very subtle alchemical mixtures, which are VERY sensitive to heat exposure. To never reach above the boil point of water (and get there slowly and evenly), which is where the burn and damage is done, for food, alchemy, and making subtle mixtures, and so on.
In modern times, this is still used and the electrical burners are a big no-no in alchemy, as it is known to destroy the alchemical function of the materials being made, as does any metallic container. Thus, it is then clear that the subtlety of flavour is retained when you see old fashioned ceramics and fire used in cooking.
That is the connection.
No electricity, no metal cooking utensils...(not even for stirring!!!) and the food is thus incredible tasting and it retains all the intense flavours and energies that our bodies have been denied in these modern times, when aided by these modern contrivances.
In modern times, one can use an electric element on an electric stove, and then use a pyrex glass based 'bain marie' set up to make a stew or a soup mix. Chemistry uses pyrex for this very reason, and cooking is.... for the larger part, an identical enterprise...and cooking, chemistry and alchemy are largely inseparable as form and functions go.
This is an easy test, folks..... big pot, then a pyrex pot in it as a bain marie, and then do some cooking, using wooden spoons for the stirring and mixing.
For some of you, it will be like tasting good food for the first time. it's a bit of training and a lot of work, the first few times. Then it becomes habit, like everything else.
Essentially it is impossible to damage a food mix with a bain marie. crock pots can still damage the quality of food, and do so...and the correct method is the ceramic or glass bain marie.
This one knows these things as true, but does it does not mean that this one practices it.. :p

gas cooking is the modern functional alternative to fire, but then the Pyrex heating might be an issue, vs that of metal pots (shattered pyrex). IIRC, the correct glass or Pyrex is fine with gas. Alchemists use fire, or gas. Note that chemists tend to exclusively use pyrex and gas flame. As a matter of fact, the image in everyone's mind, right now, of a mad scientist cooking something up.... is a glass vessel over a flame.

Extra virgin, cold pressed and cold processed castor oil packs, put the oil in white cotton flannel, where ever you place it cover it with plastic wrap, then put a hot water bottle on it, if the water is too hot, put a towel in between. Make sure you clean the residual oil very well, don't do it more than two or three days apart. It's a tried and true Cayce remedy for a wide array of physical conditions, from cysts and tumors, to gout to liver disease, you name it, almost. I need to do it again on my finger, come to think of it, to assist with the final recovery of the damaged tendon. I have had great success using Cayce remedies, mostly using the castor oil, olive oil, alkathyme, and atomidine. I can't recommend it enough.

Its got to be castor oil for the packs, but after doing the castor oil pack it is often recommended that one shoot a few oz. of olive oil, to make it easier for the liver to work with what toxins may be released from doing the packs.

Oei Ulli,
That's a bit of a shock to read.
I will send good energies your way for the time to come.
Besides that, cutting away all sugars from your diet will do you good in your situation. ]
cancer cells thrive on sugar and can hardly stay alive without it.
Try to get your PH optimal too (pH 7,35-7,45)
This also will prevent the lump to grow.

I would keep the heat on not more than an hour, for my finger, but I would read up on the recommended time for a given condition/part of the body. Reading up in the midst of posting, the recommendations seem to go from one hour to two, some even say "as long as possible". I saw mention of much larger cysts than ulli's being dissolved in less than a few weeks. My wife has cysts of a different type, that the pack is not used but the oil is rubbed in a few drops at a time, and this worked very well, the cysts being in the skin, not inside the body. That treatment is what started us putting the Cayce cures into active practice, and so far every one has worked better than could be hoped.

And so am I......(not shrinking...just *poof* gone to work.)

Hey Ulli...poured that conrete slab in the garage You asked about when i started...wooohooooooo, glad to have that over with, 8 yards down and done with. Had an excellent concrete truck driver/operator....made the job a smooth go. Also had Corey the excavator/landscaper help (he has concrete finish experience)...so it went pretty darn well for an ol' carpenter and excavator team : ) : ) : )

Swan, I so loved your post. I have a passion for trees. We talk. We exchange energy. They ground me. These are some pictures where I live. The biggest one Brook, I call him, lost his life to a highway that only added some space to the road. The picture doesn't do it justice. He was huge and as you can see, he deserved better.
The stonewall pictures show character trees and the bottom one, I couldn't pick one over the others so I made one picture.
Peace,

Gynocologist wanted to cut again
According to my definition of that word, he is outside his area of expertise :)
Anyway, if I may suggest a visualization - good old fashioned sci-fi lazer beams, in other-words a concentrated coherent beam of healing energy to effect metaphysical surgery.
However, one must think - perhaps the recurring physical distortion was a physical outcropping of a wound/distortion on one of your other higher energy bodies.
It would be well to spend some time investigating the possibility.

Love,
If you had not faith, how could I have given you the anchor?
Anyway - your doing fine.
Transformation isnt easy.

I have a lump in my left breast...same place where I had a cyst removed surgically, in 1988.
The thing is, all these years the Gynocologist wanted to cut again and I kept telling him it was just scar tissue from the last operation. But it's growing and I'm a bit nervous about it. I so hate surgery...have had eight so far and not looking forward to old age. Surgery is awful, as is hospitalization.

Anchor, you are right, my energy body is affected, as my mum died of breast cancer...her first amputation was in 1981..twenty two years later they took off her other breast. She died in 2006, age 82.
I'm determined to not let that type of thinking pattern affect me, but repressing thoughts doesn't work too well either.
The thing is with this particular cyst- it was no longer liquid enough to suck out with a syringe. It has been there for a few years now, but suddenly started growing in the last few months. It feels smooth now...definitely cyst-like.
Will do the castor oil thingy, quit the sugar, although I'm pretty strict about sugar intake on the whole, and visualize the laser beams.
Husband is a doctor, but wants to drag me to surgery for every little thingy. So we don't discuss it any more.

18342
I'm chiming in late but what Carmody is saying makes sense (from what I know - I'm not an expert - one area of science I am actually a bit weak in) and you have to consider total possible load - fires just are not an option - neither is wrecked appliances. The price will be a factor. I recall at my last job we had to run about 300ft of 600 amp cabling for a seamwelder, (although that is likely +2x what you need), and the cost was almost unbelievable - just for the cable.
I can't recall exactly what it was per foot but it was atrocious (but not unreasonable for powering a $650,000 piece of machine). Make sure you check out your options here.

The Return of the Divine Feminine
What amazes me about the human condition, is the obsession with the physical form and how people just don't feel good enough or they just think they are not perfect, or they need to fit a certain ideal or body type and that is all a deception.
We are all unique and different, just like there are many different kinds of trees. Can you imagine if an Oak tree wishes it could look like an Aspen? The perfect body, is one that is loved and appreciated. Our ability to accept ourselves as we are and detach from any other programing, is the greatest gift we can give ourselves.
We are vessels for Spirit to express itself through - we are beings of Love and Love is the ultimate state of good health and healthy identification with the self, anything less creates dis-ease and the very behaviors that lower self-esteem and increases self-judgement and it feeds addiction and the feeling of being unfulfilled and not happy.
Just love yourself - as you are... From there, all the inspiration comes, which allows a person to embrace a path of getting more into balance and more in gratitude, it helps us to let go of whatever we are hanging onto and helps us to see that beauty is diverse and it radiates out from within, turning all form into a Divine Temple.
It is the soul within the body that needs to see this, and that makes for a radiant body, heart and mind - no matter what it looks like and no matter what society may say and all those who have bought into that superficial mind-set... The Flower of Life is the energy we hold in Unity Consciousness - time to embrace the beautiful Mandala of our existence without separation, judgement, or fear...

Apple cider vinegar, otherwise known as cider vinegar or ACV, is a type of vinegar made from cider or apple must and has a pale to medium amber color. Unpasteurized or organic ACV contains mother of vinegar, which has a cobweb-like appearance and can make the vinegar look slightly congealed.
ACV is used in salad dressings, marinades, vinaigrettes, food preservatives, and chutneys, among other things. It is made by crushing apples and squeezing out the liquid. Bacteria and Yeast are added to the liquid to start the alcoholic fermentation process, and the sugars are turned into alcohol. In a second fermentation process, the alcohol is converted into vinegar by acetic acid-forming bacteria (acetobacter). Acetic acid and malic acid give vinegar its sour taste.[1]

exactly!
and this is what it will do for you:
What Can Raw Apple Cider Vinegar Do for Me?
Beneficial ingredients in raw apple cider vinegar give it its power to make us feel better, look better and feel energized. Just look at some of the beneficial ingredients in raw apple cider vinegar:
*Pectin – helps to regulate blood pressure and reduce bad cholesterol.
*Malic Acid – gives ACV the properties of being anti-viral, anti-bacterial & anti-fungal.
*Calcium – helps create strong bones and teeth.
*Ash – gives ACV its alkaline property which aids your body in maintaining proper pH levels for a healthy alkaline state.
*Acetic Acid – It appears that this acid slows the digestion of starch which can help to lower the rise in glucose that commonly occurs after meals.
and these are some known benefits from using it:
A Few Benefits of Raw Apple Cider Vinegar
*1 tablespoon of Raw Apple Cider Vinegar mixed in 4 ounces of purified water after a meal has been used as a natural remedy for heartburn and as a replacement for toxic heartburn medications.
*Raw Apple Cider Vinegar may help improve bowel irregularity, thereby removing toxins from the body at a faster rate.
*Helps clear up skin conditions and blemishes giving a smoother texture and complexion.
*Raw Apple Cider vinegar may also help with joint pain and stiffness.
*Apple Cider Vinegar helps to break down fats so that your body can use them rather than store them. For this reason, many diets include ACV in their regimen.
*On a small scale, ACV was studied by researchers at Arizona State University. The preliminary study was published in the Diabetes Care journal. It reported that ACV helps reduce levels of glucose.
Raw organic apple cider vinegar is even good for pets. It has been used to help control fleas and even promotes a healthy shiny coat.
My girlfriend has had problems with her body becoming acid and then she started taking the apple vinegar.
Just a few days after she felt all symptoms of an acid body fall away. You can just feel it when you drink it.
The body agrees with it.

Some things just appear and then just disappear (eg warts). Maybe this cyst is just changing platforms as it commutes between two other time dimensions?
Let's help it on its way. Platform 5 is over there; you'd better hurry or you'll miss your connection!
This would put a whole new angle on Job 1:21:

It's working.

Add-on:
Language is full of physical metaphor, which probably wasn't metaphor to begin with and probably still isn't. There are things we can't stomach, i.e. sh/t, we cold shoulder people etc. We don't have a word for what the brain does, it sees, it grasps, it under-stands, it com-prehends - you catch my drift?
We also talk about getting something off one's chest, right?

Loose grammar? English doesn't do grammar, or at least can do without to a very large extent. This is why esperanto went out of business.
DId you know, Shakespeare's plays would have been half as long if he hadn't got into the habit of introducing new words from abroad accompanied by their 'translation'. Can't think of an example at this time of day, but 'slings and arrows' gives an idea of what I mean.
Hence Shakespeare was the ultimate pleonastic perissologist single-handedly responsible for putting English on steroids.
Another time, I'll tell you how artists play this game, but for now, it's back to work :(

The Hawaiian Happy-Face Spider (Theridion grallator) is a highly polymorphic species, producing a multitude of patterns on its abdomen, many which uncannily resemble the "yellow smiley-face" we all know from our youth. What's this all about? Scientists are hard-pressed to find an adaptive reason for the smiley-faces and are mostly left with the impression that nature just told a really good joke.

That is such a nice story Swan.
It is amazing when you think about trees having emotions and feelings too isn't it?
We have a huge linden tree in our garden.
When we just came to live here in Belgium, Marieke heard her communicate to her that she wishes to have the ground beneath her cleared of the compost belt that was there.
We promised her to make work of that, but we forgot about it, because it wasn't high on the 'to do' list.
1,5 years later, our son was crying in his bed, late in the evening, so I went up there for comforting him and talk about what was going on.
He told me that the big tree in the garden was so sad because we haven't cleaned the ground there. (Mind you, he didn't know anything about what was communicated between Marieke and the tree).
Later, when we read something about trees and their characters, we learned that a linden tree is quite a madame. She likes it clean and has a lot to complain about when she gets to it. But she is very gentle and loving and that is exactly what we feel when we're around her.

This morning I awaken pondering the role of genetics in depression and anxiety, and if that influence can be overcome. I'm not sure it can. After my third or fourth episode of weeping yesterday, the circumstances that led me to Effexor in the first place came rushing back. It was right after my Mother passed on. I had never taken anything for depression before that, and I don't remember needing any chemical help until that point. Her passing was sudden. We took her to the hospital one night, and three days later she was gone. That shook my world at the time, but that is not an unusual reaction to the passing of a parent. What was unusual, though, is that I cried for days. One day after another, and I could not stop. A few weeks later, I was still sobbing uncontrollably most hours of every day. Several months passed like this. I began to worry I would never stop.
I went to the doctor, a general practitioner who I adored at the time, and I remember not even caring that I was weeping in the waiting room. I managed to get a few sentences out with the doctor, and that was about it. He explained that we all have "reserves" from which we pull in times of crisis, and dealing with M's bipolar had exhausted mine so that I simply had no reserves any more. It's been 8 or 9 years now, and over that time I have tried a few different anti-depressants but Effexor was the only one that seemed to be right for my body.
This is the first time I've simply wanted to allow myself to find a natural balance. This morning, though I am deeply concerned that my body doesn't really have a balance. What if I, by some miracle, live through the process of getting all of this chemical out of my body only to find that I am naturally a sad and depressed, weepy person unable to function?
It doesn't help my concern that I finished Book V of LoO a couple of nights ago, either. Now I am wondering...when my inner light shines brighter, and the loyal opposition is attracted to that light, will I know what's what? I doubt it.
So, all these things are swirling, and I am already missing the part of me that is bubbly and perky and hums to myself all day. :(
I'm trying, as now it takes real effort, to be grateful and strong and focus on what I know, clinging to my anchor as I see myself dip into seas of emotion that feel unnatural.
Love,
Swan

Swan, I so loved your post. I have a passion for trees. We talk. We exchange energy. They ground me. These are some pictures where I live. The biggest one Brook, I call him, lost his life to a highway that only added some space to the road. The picture doesn't do it justice. He was huge and as you can see, he deserved better.
The stonewall pictures show character trees and the bottom one, I couldn't pick one over the others so I made one picture.
Peace,

Oh my goodness, Brook is beautiful. ( and the others too, the last one could be Narnia )
I read somewhere that when trees are cut down, their devas remain, sort of caught, in the place the tree used to stand. I sometimes think of that when I pass places where majestic trees used to stand, and say hallo to any deva that might be there.
Honestly, trees helped me through my pregnancy, and the birth of my daughter. There was a tree ( cut down now ) that I could see from my living room. And looking at it filled me with peace. Actually the trees started communicating with me just as my pregnancy began :)

Thank you for that beautiful story. Sometimes I doubt what I am feeling, and doing. I wonder if I might be going slightly crazy. So your story felt very reassuring to me.

Hmmm... then something happened last night. Em lost control in a way I had hoped she never would, thought she never would. I couldn't even react it was such a surprise. At the time, all I could think was that my light, and the channel that has been opened for me, my gifts, were not enough to protect her. When all this wobbled, something got to her.
I can, and do, connect with the Angels all day long, and I know they are with me always. I see/sense them. I can, and do, open up to the energy of the One Infinite Creator at every chance I get. But those chances do not easily avail themselves after the kids get home from school. So I strengthen my gifts to the extent I am able to during the day.
But in the evenings, M is so unpredictable that I am unable to find the same opportunities. So, while I wanted to "bust" Em last night, there simply was no opportunity. And, yes, I asked with all my heart that she be kept in the arms of the Angels.
I anxiously await The Middle Pillar, and until then I'm simply flopping around like a fish out of water. More accurately, like a crab out of it's shell.
Because, I mean, if the LoO group fell prey...
Much Love and Strength to us all today,

Hello Swan, hello kindred Spirit,
Everybody needs at least one loving tree. And every tree need at least one loving soul. They really do appreciate recognition and gratitude, and send it right back.
I use to see fairies and elves. Long, long time ago. The last several years, their essence pops out from behind the bushes and trees. I'd swear I hear chuckle and giggles. Their ba-aack! Tee.
Peace,

PS This is my new favorite movie called, "The Man Who Planted Trees (http://projectavalon.net/forum4/showthread.php?49499------Five-Star-Movies-On-Avalon-----&p=549996&viewfull=1#post549996)" Dawn shared the link, this is the message I passed along: "Thank you for "The Man Who Planted Trees". It is a beautiful metaphor of renewed purpose when one questions, "What/Why am I here?"."

Much Love and Strength to us all today,
HI dear 1inMany,
So you've finished LoO Bk V. Now just put it away please. They had their own issues to deal with 30 years ago that are unlikely to be relevant to us right now. Just take away the message which was that now is the pivotal moment when things really start getting better.
A crab gets out of its shell when it has become too small for it. It then hides under a rock which makes a very good shell until the new one hardens. It has too because its prey can tell by its smell that it is fragile. Just try and take it easy.
Much love and strength to you today.
