National power grids could overheat and air travel severely disrupted while electronic items, navigation devices and major satellites could stop working after the Sun reaches its maximum power in a few years.

Senior space agency scientists believe the Earth will be hit with unprecedented levels of magnetic energy from solar flares after the Sun wakes “from a deep slumber” sometime around 2013, The Daily Telegraph can disclose

This is becoming all to real. The build up to this from the MSM and from TPTB in general is really geathering speed. The effects of this will be huge, not just in the US and UK, but around the world.

The effects on nations such as Africa and southern American countries, where for instance, the depend on Aid would be huge. No planes flying, no vehicles hitting the road, and in ability to harvest crops, no food on the shelves.

The sheeple will be hit hard because their iphones and tv won't work.

Should this storm hit, the effect will be massive.

Be Safe and prepare.

Irish, did they give any months? I want to compare to Clif High's webbot project dates for internet being down. He said it would be for about one year!

When I first heard of this, I was really surprised. Mostly because there was already talk about this on a forum that was posted on this site a few months back.

I'm glad they aren't going to let us just lay there and take it.

When it was reported over the radio, they said that when it occurs it would be over 3 years, as in... it could happen in the span of 3 years, they can't pin point it, so they were a bit vague. Either way, start getting your camping gear ready:)
