I know there have been similar threads like this before but I thought id put this one up:p
Once again this morning I was reminded how weird and wonderful this place really is.
As I sat out my back garden gazing at the sun and dreaming about the future.A thought popped into my head,I said to myself its been a while since I seen my friend the sparrow, and guess what happened next,my little friend turned up and gave me the feeling of yeah John your on the right road and its not the first time this has happened to me,I'm sure others have had similar experiences so lets all remind ourselves of our random moments of beauty:cool:

Isn't the universe a beautiful thing!!!

Isn't the universe a beautiful thing!!!

You can ask that again from a hungry eight-year old girl in Cambodia, who is forced to work 18 hours a day and getting paid a dollar a day, who lives on the street and who's boss beats her constantly.

I know it sounds very cynical, and I'm sorry for that. The name of this thread just caught my attention, and I just want to remind that not everyone is as privliged as most people in the western countries, and someone is paying a price for our well-being... I'm sure not everyone loves this reality, it's a tough lesson for I'd say most.

Not to end in a bad note, I agree, the Universe is beautiful. It is numerous things, but also beautiful.
I also enjoyed your story very much. Sorry if I ruined your day, didn't mean to :D

I hear you big time Take and thanks for your response.. I always think how lucky I am to have been born where I am and to have what I have, which I might add isn't that much,I suppose the point I was trying to make was in spite of all the crap in the world sometimes we get reminded that there is a bigger picture.. also there is hardship all over the world not just third world counties per se.In my country there is thousands of families waking up everyday and having to make decisions like pay mortgage or feed the kids,I myself loathed this reality for many a years all for different reasons but I'm just at that point where I refuse to let myself be brought down into a negative,I really believe the world will sort itself out soon enough but only if we all live in the positive..

Well thank "God" we're not all downtrodden simultaneously here on earth. I've been in true emotional/mental hell for 6 of my 61 years and i'm thankful there were pple around me that were not, otherwise i would not have been here anymore.

I like that we get back what we put in.

If we're cynical and paranoid then we'll see all the things we need to maintain that reality and experience negativity.

If we remind ourselves that it's just a ride and become accepting of all things, looking for lessons in even the worst experience, then this world becomes a surreal fairground of infinite entertainment and a university of the most simple yet profound knowledge.

Do we?
Do you mean "you reap what you sow"?

I'd class that as Karma which is separate as you need other beings to interact with in order for that to happen.

What I'm talking about is not even that involved and we do it ourselves all the time. Perception is a lens that can be distorted by our emotions, conditioning and expectations. We see what we want to see and in doing so create our reality. This comes before our Actions which then creates the reaping and sowing and being reincarnated as an ant. =]

Thanks for all the replies!!!! I'm just scratching my a head a bit here because I wanted this thread to be somewhere we can share just positive experiences and it seems like no one really has any at the moment apart from Transiten. I realise there is many important things going on in Avalon and the World, but is it not just an important to remember and share them moments in our lives that stand out for there positive influence they've had on us.. All I know is that when I think of these moments I get that feeling of utter contentment and a drive to make this world a better place.. why cant we use a positive experience to change the world rather than using a negative one,I hope you guys get what I mean as I'am not that articulate when trying to convey my emotions:p

Social consciousness causes most of us to feel guilty for every penny we earn,
in case someone else out there never gets to see any. There is such a fear to appear selfish, greedy, etc.

The kind of people who get on with their lives and don't feel guilty about making money
also end up with the extra freedom that comes with having lots of money and many forget that
those people are in a better position to help others.

This charity is going on all the time. The problems are not easily solved as there is not much communication
between the different international agencies and governments.
But the way the information machine works no one is unaware anymore of the injustics and hardships poor people face.
The drought situation in Africa comes to mind. CNN are constantly reminding everyone.

If anything, we need to do our utmost to lift one another out of the depression
that the current situation has caused us and cheer up. Then we can allocate our strength when we feel fit to do so.

I love this planet, it's beautiful. The animals, plants, mountains, tundras, beaches, jungles you name it, they are here and it's our home, but only for a few years.

Lets look after it so that our children or future generations can enjoy it like we do.

I think this a very good thread.

And for the human beings that are suffering here on Earth....I wish for them to have all of their needs taken care of -they have enough food, clean water, clean clothing, good shelter, gentle people in their lives, a safe place for them to lay their heads down at night and I wish for everyone on earth to find the beauty, joy and love in their hearts and give it away freely....

Finally There when we experience the beauty of life we always affect another in a positive way -you did me

Have a beautiful day everyone

we are all related

One of the most difficult, yet rewarding, lessons, to me, is that of learning to love the reality even when you feel it does not love you back. Remaining positive in the face of adverse situations is a must in the cultivation of positive polarity. It's a difficult lesson to face, but necessary, in my understanding. The cynical point of view is the most short sighted as well, in that it will usually not take into account the entity that chose to incarnate into difficult circumstances or the reasons an entity might have for doing so.

I feel blessed to meet some of the people I have met.
Learn the lessons I have learned.
And offer the help that I have.
Let alone enjoy nature on this planet.

Give me some of those pills. brother. I feel like I'm in prison: my body, my confusing thoughts, lack of knowledge, truth, common sense, etc...Here we are hurdling through space on a planet in a galaxy of which I know next to nothing. The moments of joy are minuscule.

We are going from winter to spring here and I have had many moments over the past couple of weeks where I have had the opportunity to sit and enjoy the sunshine :D In those moments I agree the universe is a beautiful place.

haha, I try to tell people this all the time, in fact I imagine this is very much what being "accended" christ concousness etc....

as soon as I quit paying attention to money & things.. I had both.. its hilarious.. people ask me why I don't take better care of my things or always try to keep them shiny and new.. they are just things!!!!

biggest moment in my life was letting go of the rat race and doing what felt natural.. the rest followed behind..

Just like climbing a spiral stair case (spiral... come on esoteric heads... you know ... rainbow bridge.. star gate... etc..) it takes faith and true commitment (and those are rare comodity).

of course,, I haven't been able to do it in many other aspects of my life, which is probably a big part of why I'm here.. lessons lessons, everywhere.

I do make a big effor to share though, my passenger seat is rarely empty (and rarely filled with somone I haven't just met) it just feels right, and hey, its working out so it must be!

One reason I love this reality is because I am able to love this reality.

It pains me to say this, but i love everything about this reality ACCEPT humans, and human creations/doings.

Everything out there in this world that is natural, plants, animals, have such a hidden complicated beauty. Then you turn and see mans' concrete jungles, its wars and pollution.... and wonder who the hell let us gatecrash this peacefull yet mystical party.

The amazing thing about this reality is that you are in control, whatever your soul has chosed to learn, it creates the perfect space for that. We are put to the test.
As we try to untangle from our human conditioning, we go through a journey of remembering, remembering we are a drop of water in the ocean. God is the ocean,
and as we experience and learn about duality we move closer and closer to realizing that we are part of the ocean.

Despite the pain and suffering this world has seen, despite the hardships we encounter in the way in this age, I am truly greatfull to be alive in these times.
I feel that if it is your intention to grow in consiousness, now is your chance, this is the challenge. I am truly excited to be here on planet earth and share this experience will all of you.

Much Love and Light to all you warriors who chose to incarnate in these challenging times.

Fearlessness is actually rather difficult to say and in my own experience, very difficult to achieve. That is, until I was armed with the knowledge that we are all immortal and we need to evolve with the earth to escape Karma and allow earth and humankind to find its true expression.

I find now, that instead of worrying about what is clearly out of my control, I am ready to be counted and stand up for what I believe to be right. It is also wonderful to know that I am not alone and there are many others that resonate with this point of view.

I personally will miss being alive on this earth. I have taken great strength from those moments immersed in nature, when I have enjoyed displays of pure splendour that seemed to have been created for my own personal pleasure and those moments when I experience a connection with another living creature or experience the thrill and excitement of personal achievement. This world is beautiful and I will be very sorry to leave it.

I sincerely hope that we will all experience a peaceful and beautiful transition to our next incarnation, but when my time finally comes, I hope that instead of falling prey to my unthinking instinct for fight or flight that I have the presence of mind to stop, think and if required, embrace what awaits me.

love to all.
