My friends and I were having a discussion about the inhuman and barbaric treatment of the Irish and Scots under English rule. The savage way they were killed, slaved, treated and used. I tried to bring the point up that it was not the English people per say we have to blame for it, but what power can do to people and the idea of racial superiority and religion.
My friends couldn't grasp the point that I was trying to say that power crazed mad men in England saw a chance to make more money and gain more power by killing us off. They used race, religion and culture as a means to achive there goal.
Have things changed that much today not just for us Celts but for the entire world, we have been made slaves to the banks, to the men on the hill and there controllers. In some way have we all become the faces of tyranny the English were to the celts.
People get caught up in race, religion and culture and blame that for the problems of this world, when instead we should look past that and see the truth that we have all become the face of tyranny.
sorry for that crazy ramblings, i think sid needs to give out info on this subject :p
