Does anyone know of any websites that track the Schumann Resonance? I keep reading that it's speeding up but would love to see some actual evidence of it. TIA! :o

The Earth has a vibrational frequency that is known as the Schumann Resonance. This frequency has held steady at around 7.83 Hz since at least the turn of the last century when it was first measured. The military based its global communications on this frequency because it was considered to be constant.

But this vibrational frequency has actually been increasing since 1987, the year of a succession of planetary alignments called the Harmonic Convergence. The word harmonic is defined as ‘a signal whose frequency is an integral multiple of the frequency of a reference signal.’ The word convergence means ‘the approach to a fixed state’.

By the dawn of this new millennium, the frequency of the Earth had risen to around 9 Hz. As this frequency has been speeding up, so has our concept of Time. The National Institute of Standards and Technology, which assists the entire world in maintaining a uniform system of Time, has been making unexpected adjustments to their atomic clocks to compensate for this sudden change in Time. But these clocks won’t work much longer because they will need too much adjustment for what is just ahead for planet Earth.

By the beginning of 2011, the Schumann Resonance had moved beyond 11 Hz. And, as it moves into the higher vibrational frequencies, our own frequencies must also increase. This is the principle of resonance. As our vibrational frequency speeds up, so will our concept of Time. There will be more events taking place in less time.

What is a Schumann resonance?

The Schumann resonance is almost like a electromagnetic wave, motionless among other electromagnetic waves from the cavity. Like the spring equinox waves, which are not present all the time but were high enough to be observed. These waves are not caused by anything internal to the Earth, its crust or its heart. It seems to be related to the electrical activity of the atmosphere. 

Point zero:

Time is actually speeding up (or collapsing). For thousands of years the Schumann Resonance or pulse ( heartbeat) of earth has been 7.83 cycles per second. The military have used this as a very reliable reference. However, since 1980 this resonance has been slowly rising all the way to 2003 were it has doubled its speed. It is now over 12 cycles per second! This means there is the equivalent of less than 16 hours per day instead of the old 24 hours. One of the indications that the frequency and vibration is occurring, is the speeding up and shortening of time.

G'day Allura,

Unfortunatley my search has turned up no site where the resonance is actually stated in real time, though I have learned a little bit about it along the way.

My introduction to the Schumman Resonance was through Gregg Braden, so my understanding has been thus far limited to what Gregg has chosen to relate.

It appears that the frequency is in constant flux, and has much to do with the number of lightning strikes occuring at any point in time. Not hard to imagine, given what we know understand about lightning. Perhaps the single value figures that we hear quoted are average values.

I thought I was onto something at GLP, but all their links fizzled.

You may like to suss out the UC Berkeley earthquake group. I have read that they have a site where a daily value is quoted, but I'm blowed if I can find it.

I read somewhere that the Schumann resonance was a standing wave circling the earth at the speed of light. Divide the earth's circumference of 40 000 km ( a bit more if you are measuring at a certain height into the speed of light 300 000 and you get something over 7.5, eg 7.8.
In that case, how this could be rising is somewhat mysterious

On reflection, that sounds back to front - should be under 7.5? Even so, if light is not speeding up and the earth is not shrinking, what then?

If the solar system is entering a photon belt (high ionic charge) (think of it as being akin to cranking up the pressure in a balloon) with much higher density and charge levels, this would equate, in some ways, with a pressure change. Upward. Higher pressure. Higher differentials in energy levels that would normally have some sort of differential.

This could (?) manifest as an increase in the Schumann resonance.

Unless I am totally off the mark, in this case, the term "resonance" comes from an analogy to an electronic circuit which oscillates only at certain frequencies. It is on this property of such circuit that early radio transceivers were built.



What is a Schumann Resonance?

Believe it or not, the Earth behaves like an enormous electric circuit. The atmosphere is actually a weak conductor and if there were no sources of charge, its existing electric charge would diffuse away in about 10 minutes. There is a 'cavity 'defined by the surface of the Earth and the inner edge of the ionosphere 55 kilometers up. At any moment, the total charge residing in this cavity is 500,000 Coulombs. There is a vertical current flow between the ground and the ionosphere of 1 - 3 x 10^-12 Amperes per square meter. The resistance of the atmosphere is 200 Ohms. The voltage potential is 200,000 Volts. There are about 1000 lightning storms at any given moment worldwide. Each produces 0.5 to 1 Ampere and these collectively account for the measured current flow in the Earth's 'electromagnetic' cavity.

The Schumann Resonances are quasi standing electromagnetic waves that exist in this cavity. Like waves on a spring, they are not present all the time, but have to be 'excited' to be observed. The first spectral representation of this phenomenon was prepared by Balser and Wagner in 1960. Now, checking on the daily graphs of the recorded Schumann resonant frequency, I don't see much "increase"... somebody is pulling legs... that's my guess.

This post digresses a little from the Schumann Resonance but I can't resist asking. I always thought the theory of our solar system entering a photon band to make intuitive sense. But my research didn't reveal much in the way of scientific collaboration. The idea was originally mentioned once or twice in the 1970s in a couple of scientific journals but then quickly disappeared from the public arena. I haven't seen it discussed much since. Barbara Hand Clow went into the subject in depth in one of her books but since channeled data is almost always polluted by the filter of the channeler's mind, that data can often be difficult to trust - at least completely.

Just wondering if you have seen or read anything about the subject resurfacing?

I have been thinking about your post Allura and would agree with Amzer Zo that this is only a very small increase in frequency, it’s hardly worth worrying about.

Earths frequency or 7.8Hz is around lower C on the Piano. Much like the piano the frequency also resonates and attenuates. If the frequency increases from 7.8Hz towards 11.0Hz that’s only a 3.2Hz increase.

1Hz is “One” cycle per second. The honey bee for example beats its wings at 200 Hz or 200 cycles or times per second. If the bee increases its wing beat to 203 times per second that will be 203Hz and 3.2Hz increase in frequency.

It’s true what you say about the military but equally it’s also the case that academics scientists and engineers will understand and monitor the earth’s frequency. They’re not necessarily being bad.!

The advantage of these low frequencies is that the wavelength travels great distances sometimes up to 10,000 miles and so they are suitable for communication and navigation.

I think you are trying to establish if a consciousness shift is taking place or has taken place and I suspect you are linking this to the frequency of the Chakra a subject I know precisely zero about.

That's what I was thinking as well...but they were also looking at the increase over decades, not days, weeks, or months. That's why I would like to know where Gregg Braden, in particular, got his information.

Ok, here's a thought. Let's say that the Schumann Resonance is increasing and our Brains match this resonant frequency.

Here's an interesting (and funny) situation coming up:

Under the influence of LSD, the human brain operates at 20.215 Hz.
Once the Schumann Resonance increases to 20.215 Hz, we'll all be tripping 24/7.
It will be the 60's and Flower Power / Peace & Love all over again, only on a much larger scale.

I agree with you here Amzer. I suspect a lot is happening via the sun that’s causing changes within the Magnetosphere. Solar storms sunspot activity perhaps.. The Astro boys and girls may have an opinion on this.

I think it depends what you mean by weather modification. Altering the protective shield of the ionosphere could allow increasing amounts of solar radiation and dangerous UV rays into the lower atmosphere and an unsuspecting public. This would be very serious.

I think it depends what you mean by weather modification. Altering the protective shield of the ionosphere could allow increasing amounts of solar radiation and dangerous UV rays into the lower atmosphere and an unsuspecting public. This would be very serious.

Refraction or bending of radio waves against the Ionosphere.

Very High frequency radio waves have a very short wavelength and as such are used for direct line of sight transmission from the hill top to your car or home aerial perhaps. If the waves transmit into space they will punch through the ionosphere and continue into outer space. These frequency bands are VHF, UHF SHF.

VHF might be your local radio station. The space shuttle communicates on UHF for example it’s also line of sight along with SHF which is used for ground based radar at airports and elsewhere.

For long distance communications direct wave isn’t suitable and so we must use HF or a High Frequency wave which will refract (bend) against the ionosphere and thus overcome the problem of earth’s curvature.

The ionosphere has three levels the D layer during the day and the E and F layer at night. The D layer being lower disappears at night.

Supposing I want to talk with Amzer in Toronto from the UK. The time in the UK is 02.00am and so in Toronto its 20.00hrs local in the evening so I look up the manual and it will tell me the height of the ionosphere and frequency to use for Eastern Canada. The sun is down in Canada (nightime) so the frequency comes down or lower and we use a higher level of the ionosphere.

During transmission the radio waves will leave the UK and refract against the ionosphere around mid Atlantic at say 60 degrees with the first returning sky wave landing within 100miles of Toronto. The rest of the transmission is over the ground to Amzer’s receiver.

If however from the UK we want to talk with Lord Sid in Perth, we look up the manual 02.00am in UK is 14.00local time in Perth Western Australia, so above Perth the D layer of the ionosphere exists because its daytime.

The problem now is we have to push this radio wave almost to the furthest point on earth. The transmission will leave the UK at a very shallow angle perhaps 20 degrees and refract against the ionosphere perhaps above Pakistan, again with the first sky wave landing within 100miles of Perth. Hello Lord Sid. With the Sun up (daytime) in Australia the frequency will be higher. When Lord Sid replies to my call, he will need a lower frequency to contact me in the UK because the sun is down in the UK and the ionosphere is higher.


VLF Very low Frequency is lower still and is used for communicating with submarines and long range navigation. > 10,000 miles. Its also used for HAARP.

A lot of people have been mentioning some sort of recalibration. A circuit oscillation is a repeating frequency. What we see for Tomsk is not a repeating frequency it was oscillating at unique patterns for the entire time frame of the shifted resonance pattern. The statements that the blackouts are scheduled down times is not corroborated by Tomsk either.

Looking at the Schumann from Tomsk today it appears to be headed back to a more normative patterning. Edited to include image below.Still highly elevated, a lot of white but it has the appearance of a ratcheting, coming down from a much higher frequency phase. As if, as it appears, we had begun resonating at a coherent, highly patterned oscillation for a couple of days and now we are returning to a more normative phase.

The comparison is shown in the video I posted above also, BUT --- I am still researching this at the moment so please do not take this as word, all the other monitoring stations it appears are, or may be ground based. The Russian station is a space station, which seems to be the reason all serious researchers of the Schumann prefer it. Again, still looking into this to verify. Is there anyone more familiar with this who can comment? I CAN SAY that it is not uncommon for the Russian feed to be interrupted a day and even two. In all the years of this happening, a pattern like the one we have the last day or more has never occurred. I am confident they would not have posted that data did they not find it sound. Now that they have erased the time frame till June, 20, 17:00. The new graph looks normal, as it should be. But what we see is a huge white spot at the beginning of the new graph. (Please see image in the post above.) So the amplitudes of the Shumann waves must have been enormous before.

That could be a reason that the measuring units may have been overloaded, which will result in clipping of the measured waves. In the frequency domain clipping is adding a lot of harmonics to the signal: 2f, 3f, 4f and so on, giving 16 Hz, 24 Hz, 32 Hz etc. So that may explain the sharp lines of the harmonics that we have never seen before.

But I have no explanation for the additional mirroring effects of frequencies, moving towards each other and apart. Such effects happen when you multiply one signal with another or when you apply sampling and the frequencies of the sampled signal interfere with the sampling frequency. For that reason signals are low pass filtered with half of the sampling frequency before sampling.
So this can also be an effect of the very strong harmonics that may have come from a clipping effect which then interfered with a sampling frequency (something between 100 Hz and 200 Hz) of the measuring unit.

So the picture shown may be the result of extraordinary strong Shumann resonances, which caused clipping and aliasing in the signal processing chain.

Overview of the Schumann Resonance
In response to some questions about the Schumann Resonances and how it might affect us, I wrote this little response. I hope it will be helpful.
Thoughts on what is believed and known about the Schumann Resonances and how it affects human beings.
Yes, these spikes on the Schumann Resonance certainly do affect a lot of us. I will post some things about what they call ascension symptoms or energy sickness or Schumann Resonances symptoms – – there are a lot of names for this.
Because we are primarily electrical, (every cell and atom in us is electrically driven), when these energies come into our atmosphere and into the earth.
I don’t know how we could think it would not affect us in a significant way. 🙂 Many people out there are not aware of what they’re feeling, much less what might be triggering it or causing it but those of us who are more sensitive are feeling it in a more amplified way.
Especially if you are empathic or spiritual or if you are psychically gifted or simply have a very sensitive nervous system, you are, no doubt, sensing the effects of these energies.
Before the last six or seven years, the Schumann resonance did not have all these spikes. It really was basically just a green line registering at 7.83 hz running from left to right on the dark blue background. All the other colors and all the other horizontal markings as well as the vertical ones are all new as of the last several years.
And all of these new markings represent energies coming into our ionosphere (which is in the upper part of our atmosphere), and it’s called the Schumann wave because it literally moves like a wave around the earth in the atmosphere.
The highest energies that actually blow out the charts registry is the color white. Yellow, orange, red and purple or violet are also colors above and beyond the “normal” Schumann resonance colors and all represent above and beyond “normal frequencies“ for the Schumann Resonance.
Normal for the Schumann Resonances or the baseline reading is 7.83 Hz. The hertz numbers are on the left side of the main Schumann resonance chart. The higher frequencies are at the bottom of the chart and the lower frequencies are shown at the top. This seems counterintuitive to many of us but this is the way the chart reads. The chart is read from left to right horizontally and so the most recent and current readings will be on the far right of the chart.

I personally agree with those who are suggesting that these incoming energies (which we are not sure at all where many of them are coming from) are actually creating new neural synaptic pathways in our brains and adding “software“.
There are many opinions and thoughts on why this might be happening at this time and here are a few of those that I am aware of:
1. Energetic Preparation for a major quantum leap for all humanity on earth.
Biblically, this is known as— the rapture, the end of the age, as well as multiple other ways of saying the same type of thing.
Almost all major religions have prophesies concerning a major time of change.
2. DNA upgrades activations —also in preparation for the new era that might be dawning.
3. Some people believe that our sun is going to have a major solar flare event that is going to initiate cataclysmic events on the earth and that those who have sought after truth and love/God and are at least 51% service to others and not only to self are the ones who will be prepared to ascend when that occurs. “Ascending“, in this case would mean to be energetically of such a high frequency that any kind of solar flare would be transformative not destructive and some believe that these people will be removed from the earth and taken to a safe location until this cataclysmic event passes over. There’re also biblical scriptures pertaining to this concept also.
4. Some people believe that these incoming energies are of questionable source and therefore, cannot be trusted. Most people seem to agree that there may be positive as well as negative sources for some of these energies and that opposing forces are trying to influence and affect the people and even creatures of the earth. All mammals are possibly influenced by these frequencies.
5. Some people believe that these energies are benevolent and are
being sent into the earth by the Creator God and others believe they are being sent from extra terrestrial sources that may have had a hand in the seeding of the earth.
6. Some also believe that these energies are being produced by man-made technology including things like the colliders as well as what used to be called HAARP.
Whichever causes might be responsible out of the list above or perhaps none of the ones above and something entirely different… Well, some of us are definitely being influenced.

Schumann Resonance is a good example of something that was predicted and later observed.

It derives from the perhaps unusual circumstances around the 1-2,000 lightning flashes that are continuously going off.

“…you should be very skeptical of any product, service, article, website, or merchant who uses the Schumann resonance, in any way, as part of a sales pitch. The Earth does not have any particular frequency. Life on Earth is neither dependent upon, nor enhanced by, any specific frequency. Most of these sales pitches are what we in the brotherhood like to call a Word Salad, sciencey-sounding language thrown together in such a way as to sound impressive to the layperson. There’s plenty of sciencey goodness in understanding why and what the Schumann resonances actually are, without co-opting them to promote nonsense.



and so it is unlikely, for example, there were "Schumann resonators" on some of the Apollo missions.


In fact, "absence of Schumann" is only now proposed to be studied in a NASA 2021 white paper (http://surveygizmoresponseuploads.s3.amazonaws.com/fileuploads/623127/6378869/139-39805df8350d398db74a88610c37ca5e_STOLCVIKTOR_.pdf) on future Moon missions, and also a special magnetically-shielded lab in Berlin. These would be first experiments on things like yeast because whatever is done on a Shuttle or ISS is in the Resonance.


Now, just because we don't know the significance about the similar frequencies, would not in turn mean that nothing related to them is possible (https://bigthink.com/hard-science/schumann-resonance-earths-heartbeat/):


Submitted with the National Institute of Health, a 2006 study (https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC4718669/) found that the frequencies may be related to different kinds of brain waves. The researchers described “real time coherence between variations in the Schumann and brain activity spectra within the 6–16 Hz band.”


Also with NIH, a 2016 paper (https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC4718669/) from the Behavioural Neuroscience Laboratory of Canada’s Laurentian University discovered that 238 measurements from 184 individuals over a 3.5 year period “demonstrated unexpected similarities in the spectral patterns and strengths of electromagnetic fields generated by the human brain and the earth-ionospheric cavity.”



One is not locked at some 7.83 Hz mono-tone as found in a recent study of the Near Death State (https://www.scirp.org/journal/paperinformation.aspx?paperid=88280):

Brain waves, having no constant but changing frequency , are constantly expanding to the whole nervous system (through the perineural system) and to the whole organism.

The thalamus is a switching and integrating center of neuronal waves coming from sensory system, from the spinal cord and the brain stem to the cerebral cortex. The system is called thalamic rhythmic generator or pacemaker. Calcium ions are seeping slowly to particular thalami-cortical neurons, which are oscillating 1.528 sec. and are triggering brain waves. Then, brain waves propagate up to the cerebral cortex. If the targeted neuronal areas are saturated with calcium ions, the thalamic oscillations stop. The brain waves are idling during this silent phase, lasting from 5 to 25 sec. The thalamic oscillations start again, when the calcium level in cells drops to the value allowing the neuron to oscillate again. So, the brain waves adjust sensitivity and activity of the whole NS. The time domain where the brain waves are not thalamus controlled is the most interesting part of the system. Then the brain field can be affected by electrical and magnetic rhythms from outside, natural or artificial. Geo-electromagnetic earthquake’s approaching activity and Schumann resonance disturbance belongs to the former and hypersensitivity to geomagnetic field perturbation, also a possible NDS or NDLS aftereffect, can be triggered by such perturbations.


The paper goes on about heightened sensitivity of such persons, and remarks the following about energy:


...life takes place not in a chemical or electronic system, but to some extent among these two processes, where photon exchange plays a central role.

Life processes and light are inseparable and internally connected due to their electromagnetic nature. Light plays a significant energetic and regulatory role in living organisms and in the entire ecosystem, for instance in photosynthesis, in the process of seeing, in biological rhythms, etc. Changes in the intensity of photon emission are functionally connected with disturbances of homeostasis and their measurements specify the state of organism’s vitality and the capacity for environmental adaptation. The electromagnetic interface and photon exchange is at the basis of all biological processes and it is thanks to it that a biological system, from the less to the most complex, interacts with the environment.


That is, in a sense, "more true" because photonic exchange really is the driver of the most basic cellular life.


It was also considered that magnetism might effect consciousness if the head contains a Ferromagnetic fluid (https://books.google.com/books?id=Mec7DwAAQBAJ&lpg=PA493&dq=bioplasma%20schumann%20resonance&pg=PA493#v=onepage&q=bioplasma%20schumann%20resonance&f=false). This book next suggests that faith healing may be done by aligning toroidal forces, or i. e. magnetic currents determined by such fluids.



China 2023 (https://www.mdpi.com/2072-4292/15/14/3557) on recent advances in Schumann research do not really connect back to the human body:


On the basis of natural lightning field source excitation, SR, a natural signal, is mainly affected by energy lines, acoustic noise, rain, dust, trains, cars, and other disturbances. The frequency, amplitude, and half-width of SR exhibit abnormal changes at each eigenmode. Based on the research progress of SR measurement equipment and analysis methods, the propagation process and influence mechanism of SR have become a new research hotspot. The SR signal is mainly influenced by solar activity and global lightning activity, ultimately exhibiting corresponding daily, seasonal, and annual variations.



The results showed that almost all land earthquakes can observe corresponding SR anomalies, and the anomalies always occur about a week before the earthquake.





So, both the Schumann Resonance and normal brain waves are subject to variation. Although it is related to climate, its most noticeable feature is evidently related to earthquakes--how or why is not understood, but, it has been routinely observed for over twenty years.

It is an interesting thing still kind of in its early phases of observation, without anything very conclusive about it.
