Alas, 'The Independent State of Palestine' will never happen as long as the US is involved.
The US government consists of at least 70% Zionists. They will never allow this to happen.
I remember a survey of Jewish people (the real ones) saying that 68% approved of the Palestinians of having a seperate state of their own.
But, as long as the Zionists are in control, this means nothing.
The US will veto the vote and, as the US originally setup the UN, the vote will end up going nowhere.

I hear what you say ... and I understand. However there seems to be some pressure from the Saudis on the US. They have been
suckered into bad deals before ... will they be fooled again ... ? Who knows, but perhaps there is some more awakening going on.

How many other countries have this veto? UK?
I'm hoping that the UN will show us all that there's justice and compassion still left in them. If the Paletinians don't get their statehood, then the UN should be disbanded for being nothing but a bunch of corrupt people living on the American dollar. If they can be bought off, then what good are they? Oh yeah, WE, the taxpaying Americans pay for them to live lavishly while we struggle to work and survive these days....Their kids go to the finest schools while our kids get crap education.... So, I guess they have been bought off.... For shame....

So, the UN needs to show some BALLS and do the right thing by these maligned Palestinians. They're good people and they deserve to stand with the rest of Humanity. I don't see the problem with that.... how is THIS a bad thing?
