Internet Hits All-Time High as News Source, TV at All-Time Low, Says Pew

This is very good news... But, with power comes responsibility ...
Will we continue business as usual. Allow our news to be cherry picked and disseminated by "corporate servants" in sheep's clothing.
Should we standby "all ears", thinking caps off, while these same interests "stay on topic(s)" to suit their agendas, ignoring and dismissing our real concerns.
It seems once again, the ball is in our court. what are we going to do with it?
I remember a time when broadcasting over "public" airways was a privilege. A privilege that was regulated to maximize public service... That ship has sailed, replaced by paid spokesmen and political puppets.
So, how will this great "Internet Machine", fueled by public eyes and ears serve the public (its self)... It's very incestuous, ripe with risk and rewards.. But, in the end, we'll have no one to blame or thank but ourselves..
Poetic, full circle and simple. It might just work this time. I hope so... we may not get another bite at the apple...
