And this was a surprise because the surface temperature showed an increase, but this bulk of the atmosphere, the real climate system was not. And that then caused us to realize that the human effects of climate are likely not happening the way we think they are.

The prophecy of doom is clear and media pass on the message uncritically. Now serious criticism has arisen from a number of heavyweight independent scientists. They argue that most of the climatic change we have seen is due to natural variations. They also state that if CO2 is to play a role at all -it will be minuscule and not catastrophic! It's nice to see the Media such as Canadian Broadcasting Corporation airing information like this.
Makes me at least have a bit of faith in some of the media, however.....by bit I am speaking minuscule amounts

Well, it's good someone has the courage to publicize this ~ they almost had us in another shackle along with the Agenda 21 lock down of people, lands, air, and water. All of it has been called off now. There is no doubt that people are waking up. This year 2011 has many more revelations that will be forthcoming and there is only a few months left now, so it will be all coming together very soon. Within three months time, nothing we know now will be the same, it will be so much better. We will have a hard time realizing how we ever managed to live through these more primitive days. 3D is primitive, no doubt about it and we are leaving it now.

Hold onto your hats when everything breaks loose, it will be nearly overwhelming for all of us ~ just the great shock factor for those who still don't have a clue. All of it coming so quickly, along with the trials of the very criminal aspect of our governments and elites together will have a maximum impact. It's why I think the new financial system coming online will be lessened and made more pleasant with prosperity funds and such ~ just because there is so much other stuff to get used to...including Disclosure and new technology. So much change ~ even when most will be very beneficial is a tremendous shock to all systems and will take some time and space to acclimate to these wonderful changes.

Well I don't know what the mean temperature of the planet is but Greenland IS melting. There will be consequences to what we consider norm if this continues

Although the cap and trade is based and promoted on the wrong theories, Is it not right to limit polution for a multitude of other reasons, like heavy metals, and a complex chemical soup manufacturing spews out?

Personally I would like to see plastics banned in many cases... returning to glass in all areas possible or other fully recycable materials.

Warming or cooling, trashing the planet has to stop. Period. Climate and pollution need to be separate discussions. The conflation of them has become a meme and it obfuscates the nuggetry happening with the carbon tax and other climate hoo-ha.

I don't care if the climate is 100% stable, we need to stop fouling our drinking water and oceans, yesterday! And other pollution, like Arrowind mentions, has to just stop. It is not just the Corporations though. It is very much about planetary/population consciousness too.
