I am in such a wonderful mood this evening. The sun gazing over the Pacific Ocean was so beautiful tonight. It is so balmy here on the central coast of California that we took a long walk barefoot on the beach afterwards. I am aware of the many recommendations to move away from the ocean... but I just can't bring myself to do it yet.... I live in a little slice of heaven.

Thank you so much for the music too. So far as I know, none of us gets to leave this place alive. It's not about our impending deaths, it is all about how we live and love each day.

“Considering yourself to be deeply loved” is precisely what all enlightened people do pretty much all the time, in my experience. I guess that for such people this often means, in part, that they consider they’re deeply loved by the Universe, or God.

Still, if a child is very deeply loved by at least one parent, and by a few others along the way as he/she grows up and by herself/himself, that child could become a spiritually enlightened adult without ever doing one bit of formal meditation or “processing” or psychotherapy. (I've even seen one real-life example of that.) That’s because the whole essence of spiritual enlightenment is this constant inner feeling and knowing that one is irresistibly lovable (deep inside). It’s the whole feeling and the beauty of enlightenment in a nutshell.
