May the divine shine down on their souls and guide them to the stars.

I think if it were the satalite, nasa would be there to pick up there scrap gold (to my understanding, a large portion of the satalite is covered in the shiny stuff)

Man that's tough. Would part of a satellite cause that much damage?

Could this have to do with the space station that has gone missing? There is all kinds of space debris up there like an orbiting junkyard.

Yahoo has this new and improved version

..BUENOS AIRES, Argentina (AP) — An explosion wrecked two homes, a business and several cars early Monday, killing a woman and injuring nine people on the outskirts of Argentina's capital.

Early reports by some witnesses that they had seen a ball of fire fall from the sky around the time of the 2 a.m. explosion caused a sensation, but authorities said later that evidence pointed to an explosion of leaking gas.

Officials said a search by the more than 100 police and others turned up a canister of natural gas with a poor connection to a pizza oven.

After the reports of a fireball coming down, the government dispatched the large number of searchers to check for radioactivity and any material that might have come from outer space. Provincial justice and security minister Ricardo Casal said experts were "evaluating all theories, from an explosion to something strange that came from the sky."

But the experts found no evidence of a crater, and NASA said its satellite that fell to Earth sometime Saturday landed well clear of South America.

Late in the day, the government said it appeared the blast was probably caused by a pizza oven's poorly connected gas canister.

A young man who had claimed he photographed a space object and gave authorities a picture showing a streak of red light through the night sky was detained for providing false testimony, the Argentine news agency Diarios y Noticias said. The man changed his story under questioning, the report said...

Argentine TV channel showed the scene. Destroyed two houses and a shop. The place teams were in white suits, anti radioactivity. Some people reported seeing a red fireball (shown a picture), other people talk about a light blue. Sequeira Fabian is the owner of one of the houses destroyed, but he knows nothing because everyone was asleep (2 AM)
The news says the explosion of a gas balloon, or a faulty natural gas line, but if you look at the pictures, there was no fire, no fire. In addition there were 3 gas tanks intact.
The site shows two vehicles involved, in an accident caused by gas, these vehicles had been burned.

The young man who took the photograph submitted it and is being analyzed by the authorities (still do not know who).

The Truth Is In There

how convenient that a satellite is supposed to fall to the earth and suddenly nasa are unable to track it. so whenever someone who's been conditioned by the msm sees a fireball falling from the sky during the next days they'll believe it's a part of the satellite.

This article says, the young man who took the pictures has been detained for lying to the authorities about the picture, and admitting to lying. (i guess better than refuting the evidence to make people suspicious of the witnesses credibility.)

The 'authorities' now think it was an explosion from a bottle connected to an oven that makes pizzas (also used to make ectasy)

witnesses however (from other sources than this article) say that what the authorities say doesn't match what they saw as they saw a blue 'fire ball' fall from the skies. It could be a satellite or space garbage, as despite Argentina having one of the largest secret files on UFO's. the sightings were mostly in the interior of the country and not in the capital.
