Absolutely NOTHING in London media about this!
We have stories about Michael Jackson's doctor, a survey about abseiling in Washington and a famous US bear shot dead. But not this.

Man, anybody would think the media and big business were colluding together and working against u.... oh. They are, aren't they?
:p

I agree, one of the stories Jeremy Vine is discussing on BBC radio two is a pop star taking her clothes off in Ireland! I text in to the show yesterday about wall street. I shall do it again today. I think we should all email the jeremy vine show to get this into the uk media!

My opinion is that if it made the news here, there is a good chance a protest would be organised here too.
And with what happened at the last protest in london they will blackout any news that could instigate rioting over here. They are taking no chances.

But Steve, aren't you concerned what Kerry Katona is going to do over her failed love life? And what about Jordan's new haircut? ;)

Protesters plan to occupy London Stock Exchange

In a Facebook group called Occupy the London Stock Exchange organisers call on crowds to march on the exchange's headquarters at Paternoster Square and fortify it with tents and barricades "for a few months".

"Beginning on October 15, we want to see at least over 20,000 people flood in, set up tents, kitchens, peaceful barricades and occupy the London Stock Exchange for a few months. Once there, we shall incessantly repeat one simple demand in a plurality of voices," reads the description of the protest on Facebook.

According to the group the protest will begin on Saturday October 15 and run until 11am on December 12.

The event currently has 225 confirmed attendees, with a further 121 tentative yes's, despite the site failing to list any aims or objectives for the event, or exactly what is being protested.

The event takes its cue from a similar protest on Wall Street in New York, first proposed by Adbusters magazine, which began on September 17 with around 1,000 protesters. That protest is still going on, with more than 80 arrests taking place on September 24 alone.

The present equation seems to be suffering on both sides. As we are naturally repelled by suffering their is no interest

At 5.13 she states, "our message is that the human race is amazing"

If protesters started focusing on celebrating that the human race is amazing, the jurisdiction laws change!!!!Masks, customs come out to play communicate the message in more creative fun ways show them how amazing we are.

Note from OP:Sorry I could not figure out how to copy the photos, but they are worth looking at if you go to the link. They are not directly protesting against Wall Street, but they were there, and something about their faces is really communicating a powerful message.
I found the article at

United/Continental pilots march on Wall Street

United/Continental pilots march on Wall Street

Uniformed pilots, more than 500 at least, gathered in a pre-arranged area near the Stock Exchange for about 10 minutes. No long speech, mostly a photo-op, then they headed back out of the Broad/Wall Street area. The organization is unrelated (formally) to #occupywallstreet; it just happened to occur at the same time.

Clarification: There may have been picketing for most of the lunch hour till about 4ish. I saw pilots walking through the Financial District before noon. The photo op, which is what you see here, lasted not more than 15 minutes as the pilots were allowed to fill in the fenced off area near the Stock Exchange.

(There was a truck behind me with photographers, which is why the pilots here are looking up)

Getty Images had a photographer there who actually saw the protest, I caught only the tail end of it:"

"Luke Rudkowski of We Are Change was recently at the Occupy Wall Street event and noticed Lupe Fiasco hanging out with the crowd of protesters. Lupe wanted to know who Luke was and after talking for 20 minutes about the past work of We Are Change and our mission, Lupe gladly agreed to do the interview. Lupe gets into great detail about 911 truth, the new world order and most importantly solutions to the problems we face today. We thank Lupe for not only his words but positivity and knowledge he shares with millions of people through his music."

The people WILL NOT BE IGNORED! Lame Stream Media will HAVE to report because the protests are growing. Good. I want to add that I noticed MANY young people. Who says the young don't care?
The cops need to shed the uniforms and join the protests, too...
This is a great interview, Chiquetet.

NYPD mace victim speaks out

"For the past few days we have repeatedly seen the unsettling images of NYPD Deputy Inspector Anthony Bologna pepper spraying a group of young female protestors and walk away during the Occupy Wall Street rallies. One of the young demonstrators who was sprayed is Chelsea Elliott, a freelance digital imager from Brooklyn. She speaks out about the incident to RT."

The story has finally been picked up by the UK's State Propaganda mouthpiece, BBC News.
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-us-canada-15140671

Though, they seem keener to inform us of the protester's arrests and previous clashes with the police rather than address the reasons there is a protest.

C&P'd story

Demonstrator Henry-James Ferry (not pictured): "'The police moved in with orange mesh barricade"
More than 700 people from the Occupy Wall Street protest movement have been arrested on New York's City's Brooklyn Bridge, police say.
They were part of a larger group crossing the bridge from Manhattan, where they have been camped out near Wall Street for two weeks.
Some entered the bridge's roadway and were met by a large police presence and detained, most for disorderly conduct
The loosely-organised group is protesting against corporate greed.
They say they are defending 99% of the US population against the wealthiest 1%.
Occupy Wall Street called for 20,000 people to "flood into lower Manhattan" on 17 September and remain there for "a few months".

Several hundred remain camped at Zuccotti Park, a privately owned area of land not far from Wall Street.
A police spokesman quoted by Reuters said the arrests came "after multiple warnings by police were given to protesters to stay on the pedestrian walkway".

"Some complied and took the walkway without being arrested. Others locked arms and proceeded on the Brooklyn-bound vehicular roadway. The latter were arrested," the spokesman said.

Many were released again shortly afterwards, police said.
Some of the protesters said police had allowed them on to the roadway and were escorting them across when they were surrounded and the arrests began.
Police arrest Occupy Wall Street protesters on Brooklyn Bridge - 1 October 2011 Traffic on Brooklyn Bridge was closed for a while as police arrested hundreds of protesters
"This was not a protest against the NYPD. This was a protest of the 99% against the disproportionate power of the 1%," protester Robert Cammiso told the BBC.
"We are not anarchists. We are not hooligans. I am a 48-year-old man. The top 1% control 50% of the wealth in the USA."
Another protester, Henry-James Ferry, said: "It is not fair that our government supports large corporations rather than the people.

"I only heard about the protest on day one when I came across it. I then decided to go back every day," he told the BBC.
March on police HQ
The protesters have had previous run-ins with New York's police.
On Friday, about 2,000 people marched under the Occupy Wall Street banner to New York's police headquarters to protest against arrests and police behaviour.
Some 80 people were arrested during a march on 25 September, mostly for disorderly conduct and blocking traffic, but one person was charged with assaulting a police officer.
A series of other small-scale protests have also sprung up in other US cities in sympathy with the aims of Occupy Wall Street.

#OccupyWallStreet - "The Marines are Coming to Wall Street to PROTECT the Protestors' | in5d Alternative News | in5d.com |October 1, 2011 - TAMPA, FL - The Occupy Wall Street movement may have just received an unexpected surprise – United States Army and Marine troops are reportedly on their way to various protest locations to support the movement and to protect the protesters.

Army serviceman Ward Reilly posted the following on Facebook:

“I'm heading up there tonight in my dress blues. So far, 15 of my fellow marine buddies are meeting me there, also in Uniform.

I want to send the following message to Wall St and Congress:

I didn't fight for Wall St. I fought for America. Now it's Congress' turn.

My true hope, though, is that we Veterans can act as first line of defense between the police and the protester. If they want to get to some protesters so they can mace them, they will have to get through the ****ing Marine Corps first. Let's see a cop mace a bunch of decorated war vets.

I apologize now for typos and errors. Typing this on iPhone whilst heading to NYC. We can organize once we're there. That's what we do best.If you see someone in uniform, gather together.

#OccupyWallStreet - "The Marines are Coming to Wall Street to PROTECT the Protestors' | in5d Alternative News | in5d.com |A formation will be held tonight at 10PM.

We all took an oath to uphold, protect and defend the constitution of this country. That's what we will be doing.

Hope to see you there!!”

Reilly added, “Please note...this is from another veteran, NOT ME. (I was Army, he's a Marine)...and I am on my way to DC, not NYC. :>) ....but this is fantastic, and he's not a VFP guy....just a soldier that is outraged by what we have become in this country, as it should be.

Occupy Washington, DC link

“A LOT of veterans get it,” Reilly stated. “Only one third of one percent of our citizens serve in the military, and we are the ones who sacrifice MUCH, and all we ask in return is that civilians control the people they elect. (miserable failure so far) But ...the image of police, or anyone else, pepper spraying veterans or even confronting them, is "priceless" as they say, and will help slap this country into seeing what we have become.(totally insane, politically and police-state-wise). And EXACTLY what I have requested from my brother and sister veterans in DC Oct.6.”

Reilly added an edited statement: "I'm no longer in active duty or in any way contractually indebted to the military. Nor are any of my friends that are joining me.

To the officers' of this thread: I'm aware of the potential, maybe inevitable trouble I can get in. So too are my friends.

I don't really care about the debate here, the upvotes, the downvotes or anything in here really. Mental masturbation is awesome and all. But ****ing hell people get off reddit and do something about it. The decision is made. I just figured reddit to be a useful tool to get the attention of a good amount of veterans."

This tipping point could be the defining moment that sends the Occupy Wall Street movement into perpetual motion.

In this writer's opinion, these servicemen, and any other troops who join in, are heroes, just like the everyday heroes who have been there from day 1 along with those who are now joining in.
#OccupyWallStreet - 'The Marines are Coming to PROTECT the Protestors' | in5d Alternative News | in5d.com |JP Morgan Lobbying for Support?

In related news, JP Morgan recently donated the largest gift in their history of $4.6 million to the NYPD. New York City Police Commissioner Raymond Kelly sent CEO and Chairman Jamie Dimon a note expressing "profound gratitude" for the company's donation.

Additionally, JP Morgan owns $79 TRILLION in derivatives.

Let's go back in history. In 1893, bankster JP Morgan funded Tesla's free energy device. When Morgan found out that there was no way of charging people for it, he suppressed this technology. Shortly afterwards, Morgan became one of the founding fathers of the Federal Reserve Ponzi scheme. The corruption between JP Morgan, the individual and JP Morgan, the corporation, is undivided.

This is the latest in5d alternative news headline: Mayor Bloomberg Claims ‘Occupy Wall Street’ Protesters Are Targeting Bankers Who ‘Are Struggling To Make Ends Meet’ Struggling? What about the 300+ million Americans who are "struggling"? What about the numerous "struggling" people who had their homes foreclosed by the banksters? What about the record number of "struggling" unemployed Americans who cannot find a job in this recession? How dare he...

Civil Right Attorney Sam Cohen is also siding with the Occupy Wall Street movement, adding, "We believe that the NYPD has been applying law incorrectly in a deliberate attempt to disrupt the occupation."
