UK members a bit of help please

Is anyone who has a Kevin Smith subscription getting terribly slow streaming from his show?

I just can't watch his show of late as it takes all day to stream and I get about three words at a time and then long pauses. I downloaded a Kpod so I could listen to it by playing the mp3 and it downloaded at 16kps Everything else I download of the net is at 3megs and youtube vids are fine and the streaming bar zooms accross in seconds.
I have complained to him several times but he just claims there is nothing wrong at his end and blames my system. :rolleyes:

If everything else is fine then it's at his end. Probably cheap hosting. Do you have a link to his site so I can see who's hosting him?

To me, Kevin Smith = Jay and Silent Bob. I have no idea who this one is. :o

Get a AVG 30 day virus protection, let it catch it and then see how fast it works.
Sometimes when you get too close to the truth, tptw, will send a virus to keep you from obtaining the truth.

appears to work okYes that stream plays ok it is only a small mp3. streaming the actual show which has video is extreemly slow for me and I get a few seconds of video and then long pauses as it streams a bit more, All the shows he has done he archives and calls them Kpods, so if you miss a show you can download them, if I try and download one, any one, I get a download speed of about 10kps, my broadband is 3meg and I can download from all the usual file storage servers at 3meg ok. I have emailed him about it but he just fobs me off and takes little interest in helping to sort it out.
