View Full Version : Earthquake swarms in Canary Island - Big one could cause a huge tsunami towards US

Over 6,000 small earthquakes in the Canary Islands causes great concern. (see link below) Scientists know that 50,000 years ago a big one created a 100 meter high tsunami and that if the earthquake is big enough, it could send a tsunami westward that could inundate the eastern seaboard of North America.

While I believe we should all pay attention to the many potential disasters that could happen at any moment, it's most important to stay grounded and not over-react.

There was a thread on PA not long ago (tried to find it but couldn't) where someone shared that a neighbor who was connected to the military packed up and moved suddenly because they were told that it wouldn't be safe to be near the east coast. On the other hand, Bill has a current post going where a similar situation has been suggested for the west coast. And then there's the Madrid Fault in the middle of the country, which is still producing low-level quakes weekly.

[B]My Point:[B] We could spend our lives running from place to place. Again, stay grounded and listen to your own intuition while you pay attention to what others are saying, but not swayed by it.

Here is the link in English.

I dreamed (my nap today) that I was in huge waves, near a metal fence, and I saved an infant from the sea bottom. I lifted it out of the water and set it on the lands edge, then I went to look for other drowning victims. Then I awoke.

Thank you.
This merge request got lost in the shuffle at the time ... but looking back at it now ... that's just as well.

Randles thread, while related, is focused on a different aspect of this. So I'd prefer not to merge anyway.

I dreamed (my nap today) that I was in huge waves, near a metal fence, and I saved an infant from the sea bottom. I lifted it out of the water and set it on the lands edge, then I went to look for other drowning victims. Then I awoke.

After our earlier conversation and coming across this post now, I must say it fits.
And this time I'm not joking. I recall having a nearly identical dream when I was in my late twenties.
Of course in those days I thought dreams were to be taken literally and I was quite scared at the time.
Now I know a bit more. I realize that child was my inner child which was emotionally flooded, or rather, drowned.
It had to do with my mum's personality, she was super-emotional.
Meanwhile as a Capricorn I was too logical for her, and didn't express any emotion at all.
I repressed them all into my subconscious, which is the dream world.
In my view setting the saved child on land's edge is a good sign.
It means you are becoming more down to earth,
and beginning to balance water and earth, or spirit and matter.

in my dream there was also a chain link fence...people trapped behind it as the waves were approaching.
I had no clue what that meant, but now I do.
The fence was a symbol of my own inner blockages. Don't have those anymore.

This is what we are trying to disentangle and clarify in that other thread (http://projectavalon.net/forum4/showthread.php?30888-After-tirelessly-updating-Avalon-for-weeks...it-s-official-evacuation-is-in-progress&p=322611&viewfull=1#post322611):

"Most urgent is John Moore's report from his contact that a volcano
on the Canary Islands is about to erupt in about seven to ten days.
Geologists agree that if the Cumbre Vieja volcano erupts, its resulting
landslide will surely generate a tsunami that will kill many millions
of people along the East Coast of the Americas, from Canada, down
over the United States, the Caribbean Islands, and down through
Central and South America."

John Moore is a good guy but he has got his data completely confused and lumped together: the volcano that may erupt (in our life time) is El Hierro, not the Cumbre Vieja. With the switcheroo, there goes :bigfish: switching from El Hierro to Cumbre Vieja...

Then, even with the Cumbre Vieja, there is the matter of how fast a slide of its flank can take place... anything more than instant and there goes the doom & gloom propaganda down the drain!

Simply because the catastrophic model used wouldn't work anymore if the slide takes an hour or more to complete.

Even if Cumbre Vieja erupts as it did very recently -- without one of its flanks sliding more than 4 meters; that is, like a house, it settled better on its foundations -- a full slide is not a necessary result.

One can go down very dark rabbit holes with "ifs," but what's the actual reality?

That's what we are attempting to establish in that other thread (http://projectavalon.net/forum4/showthread.php?30888-After-tirelessly-updating-Avalon-for-weeks...it-s-official-evacuation-is-in-progress&p=322611&viewfull=1#post322611).

That is Heavy Ulli, thank you for sharing that!! I wondered for a while the meaning of the dream, and your explanation is pretty mind blowing when I apply it to my own life. Food for thought. :baby:
