Is it possible we have become unknowing subjects of our own thought experiment. Are we victims of our own curiosity. Schrödinger's interpretation of an EPR article Einstein, Podolsky, and Rose. implies that the state of the two systems undergoes collapse into a definite state when one of the systems is measured by an observer.

In his thought experiment:
A cat is placed in a box along with a randomly decaying radioactive particle, also in the box is a flask of hydrochloric acid set to release when and if during the course of an hour a Geiger counter triggers a hammer to smash the flask.. At any point an observer is able to open the sealed box and either find a live or dead cat.

I suspect that we are both the "Cat" and the "Observer"... Both, cause and effect... Both, executed and executioner... We are in a position of ultimate power and responsibility.. The wrinkle is, by "we" I mean us, all of us collectively. All of us acting in unison at least until we have touched that "hundredth monkey". Tapped the soul of that final straw on the shoulder and say, "look over there, there is where we are going, come"... At that point we open Schrödinger's proverbial box and we see ourselves (the cat) either dead or alive... Entangled forever with our choice and the cat.

Now I see another possibility, we refuse to open the box, we collectively fail to reach escape velocity, the hundredth money never shows... This I see akin to choosing not to take that determining diagnostic health test that could seal our fate. Well, we could ague that this leaves all possibilities in play, sending the game into eternal overtime... Not a horrible strategy, maybe one we've been using for eons... But, does it serve us well. Does it keep us from our destiny. Does it prolong the inevitable, good or bad...

Thumbs up or down. we are the emperors and the gladiators... Hummm?

No such thing as an "observer" in the entanglement theory.

We are participants, even if we don't think we are.

Inaction is a choice, and has consequences.

Has anyone thought that this is what TPTB want?
If they keep us in our '3D box' and we don't open it, then we will never see 'reality'.

I proposition that we ARE the experiment.
When I closely look into a mirror, I ask: who is the observer of this?
Am I then not also the creator of it?
And so, also my own captor in it?
Resulting in:- We are participants
The prolonging is that we cant see this yet

This first step in my opinion, is acquiring the freedom to be free from working for living, why would anyone have to pay for the right to live decently, just the basic 21st century necessities, cancel the money system, let people do what interest them. I love to build computers and maintain them for example for free, I would do it just for fun and joy, others enjoy doing other things, maybe medical, house building, maintenance, ship building, paving roads, making cars, or farming, teaching, cooking and driving. Currently the system is just too rigid, and only serves elites' models, as supposed to serving people. Once that freedom is obtained, competition is reduced then virtually eliminated and so much creativity can flourish. The elites are treating the planet and it's wealth as their personal property and thus charging people for the resources. I say it's not their personal property and each person is born wealthy.

very good point.. I agree, a healthy barter based economy would free us from servitude to the elite's fiat currencies... sign me up...

agreed, tptb have many tools in their bag of tricks... slieght of hand distractions seem very effective... when that fails they have flouride and fema...

I tend toward the notion to avoid being fearful of TPTB, what they have and what they can do.

http://www.gnosis.org/naghamm/gosthom.html

"If you bring forth what is within you, what you have will save you. If you do not have that within you, what you do not have within you [will] kill you."

We can only control our own decisions, so our focus ought to be in the direction of - given the way this is - what do I do?

Everything else is coercion, which many sense is unsavory.

I agree, a healthy barter based economy
I advocate volunteerism.
