View Full Version : One World Airline

I will be the first to admit that this needs more investigation! but I would like to throw this gut feeling out for you, because as in similiar other areas of our life, AIR TRAVEL has now so many draconian restrictions and regulations, that it looks like someone out there wants to take measures and limit our traveling.
I am working with business clients in the travel industry for more than 15 years, and the rules are becoming more and more 'extraordinary' - everything is getting so much more restricted over the last couple of years, and more so over the last few month. it concerns rules for changing tickets, what involves in the reissue process, the details that passengers are requested to supply when purchasing their flight and so much more..
All according to the plan?
But there is another aspect that I would like to present here, and that is the future possibility for one network Airline that will dominate the aerial sky and therefore will be in control on all air traffic around the world.
http://consumertraveler.com/wp-content/uploads/oneworld.jpg
There are currently three major airline alliances formed over the last ten or so years. being aware to the global agenda I noticed overtime that there are a couple of prominent Airlines that are confederating around other airlines, mainly buying them or investing in their shares to have a say. Airlines have always collaborated together in what is called 'codeshare' flights. they shared flights, frequent flyer's program, unions etc. but there was never one big airline that opt to own all the others...
That is what feels to me like happening now.
One of the alliances seem to gather around British Airways, another major one around Lufthansa.
http://itec-travel.ru/avia/themes/oneworld.jpg
Lufthansa Airlines is gradually purchasing and making close connections with other airlines. nothing unusuall for big corporations to swallow other ones and expand themselvs, but whats seems to be going here is that eventually there will be only one Airline "corporation" that owns most of the airspace in the world through ownership of most air carriers.
a few details: Lufthansa made a few moves for the last couple of years and took over or greatly invested/partnerd with: Swiss, Austrian Airlines, Lot (polish airlines), bmi (british midlands), Brussels airlines, Jet blue, United Airlines wich recently bought Continental Airlines.
The German airlines are part of the 'STAR ALLIANCE' wich is becoming the biggest global air line network around. it also includes (besides the one's already mentioned): Thai, US airways, Air canada, Turkish airlines, SAS, Singapore airways, SAA and more.
I am certain that big banks are partly shareholders of some of the airlines and that governments are in there as well, although if we read Wikepedia it says that Lufthansa is owned mostly by 'privet investors' and only small trivial percentage by Deutsche postbank and Deutsche Bank.

Imagine what it is for the sky to be shut down if one would wish for that...
I rather not. Will they be able to cut us off from traveling, if that what they would wish to do?
With the global government 'climet' holding the world today, there wont be any surprise for it to be simply another one of the 'chapters' on the elite agenda.
Just wanted to share

Hopefully, the dire situation will put pressure on the government to pull the tsa off or tone them down a bit.
I would suggest using them as shark bait, but sharks haven't done anything to me to deserve such a fate.

IMO, this is only the 'public' face of it.
See the docu-film 'the American ruling class'.
In it, you sit down with and in the Bloomberg offices and..using the Bloomberg system, trace ownership of the world's largest corporations and companies.

Brilliant post Limor! This is just what people need to be aware of and you are better placed than most to notice this. You've done us all a great service.

I agree on the public face part. I would like to keep investigating and see if the dots are being connected. How do I get to the Bloomberg office?!

A lot more draconian rules are being presented for flight restrictions every month:
As from november, passengers from middle east,Europe to United states are allowed to carry only one suitcase, instead of the two allowed so far.
Every change done on the ticket is immediatly requested to be payed for,no time for the passenger to consider.flight prices are probably about to astronomicly rise (together with the prices of oil),much more delays due to weather and strikes, personal details of the passenger and his exact plans of where he intends to stay is requested whan flying to certain destinations like the US or Britain,The quicker biometric system is becoming more and more popular in Airports and is encouraged,oh,and an old one- no liquid are allowed to be taken on the plane.
All this on top of security issues are making traveling from one place to another a lot more encumbered.Better stay at home.

Hi Limor, I wouldn't doubt for a second the goal is to get down to just one world(wide) airline, just like with currency, banking, government, etc. One big my way or the highway, literally. Of course then there will be the checkpoints and such to prove one is traveling the highways or waterways with peaceful intentions, so there's no way around this, except to end the madness.
Speaking of the ever increasing security, when my sister and wife and I were traveling recently we had a couple of interesting encounters. In Portland, Maine, TSA was waiting at the boarding ramp to embark on our flight, and they pulled my wife aside for a "random" explosives test on the hands. Right then I was thinking "oh boy, here we f*****g go, because I'll go to jail on whatever federal charges they happen to make up before leaving her possibly alone with these people." Thankfully that didn't happen, but I think one of us got pulled aside because we had been having an ongoing bitchfest earlier about TSA taking some spiced butter my sister had bought special to bring home to her husband. It really pissed her off, understandibly so. My thinking is that either the "see something say something" spy program is working, there are hidden microphones about, or undercovers scattered about, because our ongoing conversation had been a rather surly and sarcastic one about how safe we now felt with the wrapped butter confiscated, because after all, we look JUST like the type of domestic terrorists supposedly lurking everywhere that could stash some C-4 just about ANYWHERE. I've never seen them waiting at the boarding ramp like that, so something may have been up.
On the next connecting flight, we happened to sit with a very nice off duty stewardess going to Tampa, (she slipped us free drinks:p) and she was explaining how much more difficult her job is now in dealing with grumpy passengers. The main reason was the hassles and the stress they had in having to navigate through TSA security. I was very surprised to hear someone in the airline industry openly bring this up out of the blue, especially on a crowded plane. We had stopped griping about it earlier, but it had been bothering HER, so she told us about it. It seems that more people may just be noticing this and upset by it than we might think.
Cheers,
Fred

Fred thank you for your story! thats quite encouraging to know that some people do notice.thats the real hope, the best thing would be when security people would start noticing that they are doing another job than they are thinking, and that suddenly every single citizen on earth has become a 'terrorist in potential',including five years olds... so,you think according to your experience that there are hidden microphones near the public surrounding...?
That reminds me,
About a year ago I took a a short trip to london for the David Icke all day event, all this TSA thing was new back than, and it was tested on only very few passengers.
On my way back going through the airport security I had the 'pleasure' of being chosen for the full body scanner.I refused.they took me to a side office and called a 'superior officer',I politely explained the reasons for my refuse (radiation, being suspected as a terrorist-for what reason?,government delibrate decision and so on),I suggested to strip for them if they wish so but not going through the scan.I explained its nothing personal but we as people should not agree to that kind of examination and that underneath the uniform they are citizens as well, however being so brainwashed as to believe they are doing the right thing, although they listened to what I had to say they began threatening me of not ever going home.doing my calculations I decided that at the moment I can not afford that but, that I will make my point till the end,I asked to talk to an 'above superior' passing more time (that they said they didnt had).funny, but a thought came in to my mind to strip off from all my clothes infront of everyone on the hall and quietly say a few words, people sure have cameras...but I couldn't do it as I knew I had to urgently go back home:)
Eventually I had no choice and had to go through the scan, however when being asked to put my hands above my head in a surrender position I 'added my own spice' and gave them 'the finger' with both hands.
Later I rememberd-that at the x-ray screening point where they check your hand luggage i've been asked to get off my shoes, while doing that I asked the security person in a friendly manner if he enjoyes his job... I didnt mean anything by that, but he gave me a cynical answer.I guess he pushed some button or something and marked me as a potential 'I dont know what'-threat,maybe?
It does take away the desire to fly.the fullbody scanners were banned in Europe because of 'violating peoples right to privecy',however Britain (and to be exact-gordon brown see:
http://www.guardian.co.uk/politics/2010/jan/03/brown-airport-securi...)
decided to use it (surprise surprise) and they are now operating it,since march 2010 on three different airports:
Manchester,Heathrow and Birmingham.(probably more)
back than, there were about 500 others at the same time that weren't checked, and they didn't scan everyone.
In my point of view it was a necessary experience for me to go through...to actually object to something I dont believe in instead of just writing about it in my computure.who knows what situations we will have to face in the future, any small preperation is o.k with me:)
funny enough,I worked for airport security about 3.5 years,7 month of those in heathrow/gatwick/manchester :) I remember the rules very well.I know what they are looking out in people...
I also been a soldier in the army for two years,so I do know about security measurs.. it does mix strict guidelines with instincts...
Oops...sorry for the length, but thanks for sharing Fred,I guess we do need to continue flying and object to that demeaning treat from the government whenever we can.its about time to say no.we will not have it.(and by the way we see your crazy games ...)

I didn't even get through the scanners at heathrow.
Soon as they scanned my passport, they put me under detention.
We had a ruckus or two, let me tell you!

You go girl! Sounds like they had their hands full with you! It's this kind of ornery attitude that they need to be made to encounter more and more. Not just for the security people and the corrupt establishment they serve, but other regular people in the area. I like to imagine it from the perspective of someone in line who may be sort of riding the fence on things, sensing something's wrong, but not much more. For them to see a person dare to stand their ground on behalf of their own sovereign dignity, in a situation like an airport where the odds are totally stacked against them, may be just what they need to start thinking something like: "You know what, that person has a point, and some serious cojones to boot. I think I may just like to be like that too. Maybe even right now."
I totally expect a situation like that to happen one day where not just one joins in though, but then 2, then 5, and then suddenly the righteous indignation and courage spreads like wildfire through the line. The old "I'm mad as hell, and I'm NOT gonna take it any more!" I don't know if a local story like that can be kept from going viral worldwide or not, I expect not. Maybe people would even start booking flights they don't need, just for the priviledge and the fun of standing OUTSIDE the scanner, while giving your 2 fingered salute to the poor soul trying to usher them in.The tables on this deal can be turned so rapidly it would make the buggers' up top heads spin, and they damn well know it.
Funny, I didn't mean to go off on that, but sometimes a story like yours will get me all jacked up. LOL. I'm not even going to write the originally planned post, it seems irrelevent now.
Rant over. Thanks for the opportunity to vent a little fantasy situation.:)

Lol Fred ! :) From your mouth to the upper boss! That was my intention, but believe me,there is no one who likes to less attract attention than myself (I am a wall flower),and I do admit that to find myself spread on local newspapers when I am without clothes would not be an apealing idea.
"Thanks for the opportunity to vent a little fantasy situation."
Someone has said that fantasy is a necessary ingredient to make things real.so lets hold that thought, shall we?-

Another step, I am afraid towards the plan for one world airline. US Airways and American airlines are being merged.
http://money.cnn.com/2013/02/14/news/companies/us-airways-american-airlines-merger/index.html
American airlines is part of the ONE WORLD British Airways co alliance, US Airways is part of the Lufthansa STAR alliance, their merge in many ways means continuing forward with the global agenda to dominate the sky

The incredible shrinking Airline industry
".. We remain concerned about a marketplace dominated by larger airlines that are essentially "too big to fail." With this latest merger, American, Delta, United, and Southwest would now together control about 80 percent of the domestic market, a concentration we've never seen before."
"Despite the divesture of prime space at high-volume airports, allowing US Airways and American to merge into the nation's largest airline is still troubling for consumers, who've seen this vital industry shrink dramatically over the last 12 years. Venerable names as TWA, America West, Northwest, Continental, and Midwest have disappeared through consolidation"
