"A lavish book promotion event by self confessed torturer and war criminal Dick Cheney drives hundreds of peace activists into a frenzy demanding Vancouver Police uphold Canadian Law and arrest him.
Some of Vancouver's "Elite" are verbally smacked down on The Walk of Shame for supporting a war criminal and paying him a $500.00 blood money fee.

So what can these protest people do in order too legally areast him? How does the International War Crimes Tribunal play into these things?

I agree with these protestors. Only a matter of time and Dickie will be prosecuted....Maybe he'll be cell mates with Georgie Bush?

Do we think that this is because the subject of this thread is foul?

I'd heard years ago there were a number of municipalities in America that had declared Bush and Cheney outlaws, and they'd be arrested if they entered those jurisdictions. I wish I'd been paying more attention to which ones. Maybe we could invite George and Dick to speak in one of them one day. They still do the 'lecture circuit' don't they?
Hey George, we wanna hear your thoughts on 'justice and the law'. He studied law a little didn't he? Oh sorry, he had a business degree. That's a different kind of law.
Dick was into 'Political Science'. That's a different, different kind of law.

Wow, Vancouver is really starting to be a "Let's get up and do some ****" city, isn't it? Good on them. ;) I don't think the response would be quite like that here in Calgary though.

I interpreted you post two ways so here's two replies:
1)I think he is. ;)
2)The good I see in it is a symbolic gesture of the desire to hold to the same system, the "elite" who create our systems for us.

Wow, I live close by and I had no idea that was going on. I knew Cheney was coming to town to promote his book but no idea about the protesting. Good for them but the aggression was a little hard for me to watch. But still, good for them. You should have seen the 911truth movement downtown Vancouver this year. Each year it grows and grows.....
Thx for postin klight!
