Short documentary about the dangerous effects of first contact on the tribes of Brazil.

There are still 100's of uncontacted tribes living around the world but their future is under threat.

Thank you for posting this video. This is a very difficult issue. I am glad the Brasilians are trying to work through it with respect for the people.

Thank you! Nothing interests me more than these cultures. This is life folks. Real, gritty, hard yet easy life. Most interesting, in these groups there is seldom any friction. Their languages have no words for many of the negative traits western cultures have. I love these people! I believe I'll go eat a grub worm in celebration. ;)

I hope they're ALL allowed to retain their way of life. They've proven that there's no need for all of the technologies the rest of us rely on....

The beauty of their paradigm is that their resources are such an abundant and fertile part of this planet. It assists in their abilities to be self sufficient And our paradigm is consumer based, we always have a desire for something we really dont need, and have wiped out our natural resources We have not been good stewards , they have! ......Peace Always Peace

This could just as easily be a story of a visiting race of non Earth dwellers looking at we Humans....lets hope that they would treat us with the respect that we should look at these indigenous peoples...

Unfortunately we as civilised people have a very poor track record of first contact spreading our ways and disease with the greatest of ease..
Interesting how we all hope that Aliens would be benevolent and nice when we have never put the shoe on the other foot....

Just leave them alone, they have as much right to be on this planet as we do....

Hi,

We the Western Modern world are the uncivilized ones. I believe we need to change the definition of what "civilized" means. This is only my view point of course. And I would agree -they live a very authentic and free way of life.
