Today Governor Brown signed into law AB499 which will allow 12 year old children to be vaccinated with out parental knowledge or consent. This currently applies to the Gardasil and Hepatitis B vaccines, but will expand to include ANY new STD vaccine that is brought to market in the future.

This means that as of tomorrow, boys and girls as young as 12 will be alone in their doctors office, or pulled into the nurses office at school, be offered a vaccine and told that if they don't get it, they can get sick and die, the child will be given the shot and parents will never know. This also means that parents no longer have access to their child's full medical records, but are only able to request PARTS of their child's heath records once they turn 12.

The package insert for the Gardasil vaccine is 30 pages long. Take a look at it. Gardasil Package Insert. The state of California has decided that 6th graders are competent to read and properly digest this information, to fully understanding the risks and benefits of this vaccine, and to make an informed consent decision. Absurd.

This is nothing more than a marketing ploy for Merck (who makes Gardasil) to get around parents who understand the risks of these specific vaccines, and the corrupt public officials in Merck's pocket who are handing innocent children over to them for power and profit. The California legislator that introduced this bill, Toni Atkins, took money from Merck and then lied about it when confronted on her motives for this bill.

And this morning on Fox, our friend and Canary Party member Rebecca Estepp, who is the communications director for the Elizabeth Birt Center for Autism Law and Advocacy, debated former California state assembly woman Sally Lieber, who previously introduced a bill making the Gardasil vaccine mandatory for 11 year olds. Lieber had to remove her name from the leadership on the bill when it was discovered that her family was heavily invested in Merck.


As most of you know, when vaccine injuries occur, since no one involved in the vaccine program or vaccine administration is held responsible for deaths or vaccine injury, it is now merely denied by the medical establishment, no matter how much evidence comes to light that a vaccine was responsible for the damage. Now Merck and the public officials that they have co-oped have made huge headway to insure that those vaccine injuries will never even be investigated, much less reported to the vaccine injury registry, as a 12 year old will merely fall ill (or die), parents will never know why, and will not be able to ensure that the child gets proper medical evaluation or treatment. This for two of the vaccine that have the highest injury rate of them all. Gardasil and Hepatitis B.

I was talking to someone from the Cancer Council last week and they said that Gardasil was their proudest achievement - :shocked: what the!??!?!

You can't expect a 12 year old girl to understand the implications - they don't understand that but they do understand peer pressure and that is why they 'herd' the girls up in a line up to have their shot.

Not only does AB499 remove a parent’s right to give their informed consent, but parents will not even have the right to be informed if their child is vaccinated. As Age of Autism recently reported, this could be disastrous for the child’s well-being for a number of reasons:

AB499 More About Profits than Health

Pharmaceutical and medical lobbyists were heavily involved in pushing AB499 through the state legislature. After all, by stripping parents of their right to make informed decisions about medical procedures that could harm their children, they have tapped a new market for their Gardasil vaccine. And, at a cost of $108 per dose to the government, Merck, the vaccine’s manufacturer, stands to profit handsomely.

Meanwhile, California taxpayers will likely foot the bill for the multi-millions of dollars this law will cost to implement. Parents are NOT responsible for the costs (how could they be if they’re not even informed that a vaccine was given?), so the bulk will come from the government (i.e. the taxpayers). As Fisher states:

“This proposed law would cost the cash-strapped state of California multi-millions of dollars to implement. Yes, very sad news, but not surprising. California has been pushing vaccinations for some time now. California Gardasil Law Signed: Children to Receive Deadly Shot Without Parental Consent

Thanks to California governor Jerry Brown, Merck’s human papillomavirus (HPV) vaccine Gardasil will now be given to children 12 years or older without parental consent. Omitting parents from the entire equation, California lawmakers are now leaving 12-year-old children to make their own health decisions. The decision to be vaccinated with the Gardasil HPV vaccine is a particularly risky decision, a decision that thousands of young girls and boys wish they could have re-made. Gardasil, of course, has wrecked thousands of lives nationwide, even leading to over 49 deaths. Considering these facts, why would legislators and Jerry Brown allow for such an insane bill to become a law?

How Merck used bribery to pass the Gardasil bill

As it turns out, there is an answer to that question: the almighty dollar. Merck used financial power to ensure that the bill would pass by paying off key legislators.

Caught in the act by Cal Watchdog, targeted politicians who passed the bill received thousands from Merck, the maker of Gardasil. The report highlights the fact that this bill has nothing to do with improving public health of California students and families. In fact, it has a lot more to do with profits. A few thousand dollars spent on key legislators to pass the bill is nothing compared to the increased profit Merck is going to see when this law takes full effect.

Meanwhile, the health of young children will be severely put at risk. Merck and California legislators are effectively taking advantage of the trusting nature of young children by signing this bill into law by using psychological marketing tactics on their developing brains in order for them to comply.

Taking advantage of trusting children to push the Gardasil HPV vaccine

Merck has been found omitting numeric facts and real side effects in their Gardasil advertisements. These are the advertisement brochures that will be given to young children, and the side effects are so downplayed and minor that it sounds truly harmless. In reality, Gardasil has a fortified death link, in addition to placing thousands of children in the hospital.

Merck and health officials also won’t tell children about the fact that Gardasil has been found to contain genetically modified rDNA of the human papillomavirus (HPV), which experts say can lead to cellular mutation and other unknown consequences.

Vaccinating children with Gardasil who are truly in the dark about the negative effects associated with the shot is purely immoral and should be downright illegal. Merck does not even warn consumers of the real side effects of the shot, while secretly bribing politicians to pass the Gardasil bill to make an unknown profit. California residents, and even United States residents as a whole should contact their representatives and demand that the bill be repealed. Furthermore, we should voice our opposition to future bills in other states that mirror the California Gardasil bill.

Educate yourself and inform your children about the risks of Gardasil, and do not let Merck’s disinformation packets lead them to receive the death-linked Gardasil jab.

(NaturalNews) If you are considering vaccinating your child with an HPV vaccine, what information have you read, and what questions have you asked? What do you KNOW about the human papillomaviruses (HPV) which the medical profession says causes cervical cancer?

If you are going to vaccinate your child on the word of the medical profession, and don't want any further information, then stop right here. But be aware that ignorance is not bliss. And that the medical system has deliberately not told you everything you need to know about either the viruses, or the vaccine.

If you want to take responsibility for your own decisions, rather than hand over responsibility to the medical profession, then you might be interested in some of the following questions and answers, which deserve truthful answers that the vaccine industry doesn't want to give you:

Question: Publicity for Gardasil says that girls should have this HPV vaccine before sexual intercourse, because they don't catch this virus until they are sexually active. Is this correct?

No, this is not correct. Over the last 20 years, the medical profession has documented that human papillomaviruses can be transmitted during pregnancy, after pregnancy, from child to child, and adult to child.

Question: Why then are we told that these human papillomaviruses can only be contracted after sex?

Because adolescents are the market Merck was targeting, and to admit that the viruses can be acquired naturally before sex, doesn't suit Merck. The medical literature for the last 20 years has also stated that to ignore the fact that HPV viruses can cause silent infection at any age 'has implications for any vaccination programme,' though those 'implications' have never been spelled out. However, they expect parents to naively believe that intelligent human papillomaviruses know they aren't allowed to let themselves loose, until the first act of sexual intercourse. And for some reason, most parents believe this sort of nonsense statement.

Question: Are these viruses implicated in cervical cancers, and other cancers?

Yes they are - but primarily in people, whose innate immune system is struggling because they eat rubbish, drink alcohol, smoke cigarettes, don't get enough sleep, and burn the candle at 12 ends. Much more than a virus is required for a woman to get cervical cancer.

Question: Doesn't everyone get human papillomavirus infections?

Yes. Not only has 'everyone' but just about any species that breathes gets papillomavirus infections - even lizards. The medical literature shows that a good diet, correct mineral and vitamin intake, and living a healthy lifestyle, normally results in the recipient throwing off HP infections easier than a cold, and all they have to show for it, is lifelong natural immunity. Healthy lifestyles don't fill Big Pharma bank balances, so you won't be told about that.

Question: But I've been told this vaccine is so important! Is that wrong

This vaccine is very important for Merck's accountants - vitally important. It's 'the' product that is supposed to dig Merck out of its current financial woes.

But is it important for your child? No. The cervical smear programme stopped people dying of cervical cancer long before 'fear-no-longer' Gardasil came along. And because the vaccine only covers two types out of at least 20 supposedly carcinogenic HP virus types (amongst at least 300 different strains), people who have cancer phobia will still want to have smears anyway. Today, 90% of all deaths from cervical cancer occur in the third world countries which don't have such a programme, or the ability to deal with abnormal smears even if they had a smear programme. The primary drivers of cervical cancer in third world countries are chronic malnutrition, and fundamentally atrocious living conditions, which happens to create the most susceptible population with the least resources.

Question: So why have I been recommended to inject my child with three Gardasil vaccines?

Because if a vaccine is available the medical system tries to scare everyone into using it. After all, it's much easier to 'believe' their assumption that antibodies from Gardasil will still be around 40 years from now. It's much easier not to have to pay attention to diet, and all the other things which would make sure most people never got cancer in the first place.
But the bottom line is that Merck developed Gardasil in the hope that it would be a 'block-buster' vaccine which would help pay for all the litigation Merck faces as the result of another Merck drug, called Vioxx, which maimed and killed lots of people, whose families then turned around and sued Merck for millions of dollars.

Obviously, Merck isn't going to make any money from the third world -the countries that really need it, according to Dr Frazer who co-patented the vaccine. So Merck decided to target all the rich countries that do not need Gardasil. By charging wealthy countries lots of money, then maybe someday about forty years from now..., they might get around to providing it to people in the third world, if they are still around. Which is a bit farcical, when in those countries, what the people could really do with, is decent food, clean water, getting rid of nepotistic dictators and warring tribes, being provided with basic healthcare, and the means of growing their own food... but all that's much too hard. Particularly when Merck's main aim is making money and staying in business.

Question: What is in Gardasil?

According to the data sheet, the vaccine supposedly contains 'no viral DNA1' and each 0.5 mL dose of the vaccine contains:
20 mcg of HPV 6 L1 protein
40 mcg of HPV 11 L1 protein
40 mcg of HPV 16 L1 protein
20 mcg of HPV 18 L1 protein
225 mcg aluminum (as amorphous aluminum hydroxyphosphate sulfate adjuvant2)

9.56 mg of sodium chloride
0.78 mg of L-histidine
50 mcg of polysorbate 80 (shown to induce infertility in mice, which is why it's the main ingredient in depo-provera, and which also makes the brain blood barrier easier to penetrate)
35 mcg of sodium borate
water for injection

Question: What do you mean,'Supposedly'?

Contrary to the manufacturers' documents, the vaccine does actually contain Viral DNA. According to documents filed with Medsafe New Zealand, each vaccine also has a much higher amount of HPV protein than stated on the product insert, in order to ensure that as the vaccine degrades over time, at the END of the shelf life, the vaccine will actually contain the stated dose on the vial.

Question: What do you mean, this vaccine has recombinant HPV viral DNA! What is recombinant HPV viral DNA?

This is where small lengths of genes from two different sources, are combined to make a single recombined length of genes which will perform a specific function.

Question: The New Zealand Government, the manufacturers and all the health authorities not only assured us that there is no DNA, but they say SANE Vax Inc.'s allegations of contamination with DNA are a load of smelly porkies! Explain yourself please?

No-one from the Government, FDA, EMA, or Health Departments have at any time, asked to see the test results of the vaccine, which SANE Vax Inc. commissioned. So, on what basis do they think that the test results are incorrect?

Gardasil was made by taking a DNA sequence (which makes the virus "envelope") from different types of papillomaviruses found in cancerous cervical cells. This viral genetic sequence was then spliced into a plasmid 3 - a circular piece of bacterial DNA (which helps divide the bacterial chromosomes) and allows the HPV DNA to be cloned into yeast. Plasmid DNA also encourages quick manufacture of the 'balls,' by the HPV genes. The genetically engineered mix then makes lots of little empty balls, or 'virus like particles' as seen in photo4 of the Gardasil vaccine.

Then according to Merck's patent5, they have a highly sophisticated process which is supposed to filter out and remove 'contaminating biomolecules, including DNA, lipids and proteins.'
What the test results found, was that some recombinant DNA sequences originating from different types of the virus DNA used to make the vaccine, are still in the vaccine.

Question: What are all those other bits in that photo?

Aluminium, and presumably more mashed up virus like particles. But according to the tests commissioned by SANE Vax Inc., viral DNA used to make those little balls and mashed up pieces, are not removed from Gardasil.
Question: But FDA says that these recombinant DNA are "expected" when using this process. Isn't that true?

No. If those DNA fragments were "expected" components of Gardasil, they would have been listed in the ingredients of the vaccine, and documentation should exist showing why they are a safe and 'essential' ingredient in the vaccine.

Question: How does this fancy patented purification process tell the difference between culture medium DNA, yeast DNA and HPV DNA?
You tell me and we'll both know.

Question: If SANE-vax's tests ARE actually correct, why did a purification process which is supposed to remove DNA lipids, proteins, and biomolecules not work?

I think Merck would like to know the answer to that as well. In the meantime, FDA are covering Merck's butt for them.

Question: But isn't there a final product purity test for Gardasil?
In New Zealand, according to paper work submitted to Medsafe, there are no final purity tests, because Merck believes their filtration process is good enough without them.

Question: But aren't there filtration tests designed to make sure the process is good enough?

Question: Isn't Gardasil made the same way as the Hepatitis B vaccine?

Yes, and according to FDA6 documentation, "Assays for cesium, polysaccharides, DNA, pyrogens and sterility are performed" on the Hepatitis B bulk product. You'd think the same would be done for Gardasil, wouldn't you?

Question: Does the Hepatitis B vaccine also contain genetically engineered, recombinant DNA?

It would appear that the Hepatitis B vaccine could ALSO contain a similar kind of genetically manipulated DNA (in spite of tests to ensure DNA removal). Such recombinant DNA in the Hepatitis B vaccines is also not mentioned in its data sheet or constituent list.

FDA, in its reply to SANE Vax Inc., intimated that Hepatitis B vaccine also contains recombinant DNA, and that such unstated DNA was quite "acceptable". So they are covering Merck's butt for that as well.

Question: FDA says these particles are no big deal because they can't cause infection. Is that true?

No it's not. The point of a vaccine is to form antibodies to various substances called "antigens" in the vaccine. DNA doesn't have to cause infection to spell trouble. Because the recombinant DNA is tightly bound to the aluminium, the aluminium turns the DNA into an 'antigen,' something the immune system has to react to. But an abnormal immune response, especially to an aluminium-bound DNA, could result in antibodies which cross react and turn against healthy DNA. That could cause autoimmune disease, brain inflammation, joint inflammation, and major disruption to energy pathways, hormone functions and a vast array of other biological pathways, which normally keep an adolescent healthy, physically and mentally.

Question: But FDA says that Gardasil is very safe and doesn't cause anything more than a sore arm. Isn't that true?

No. America's FDA and all medical authorities say that all vaccines are safe apart from sore arms, and that everything else that happens after a vaccine is a coincidence..., and anyone who says otherwise, needs their head looked at.

FDA monitors all vaccines by using a system called VAERS, short for the Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System, which is known to only collect 10% of reactions at most, and reporting is voluntary, not mandatory. On the one hand, they 'consult' this system, but on the other, they consider that all reactions sent to this system have nothing to do with the vaccine at all. So in terms of a monitoring system, they might as well not have one at all. In fact, they might as well do away with it altogether, since to them, the fact that Gardasil reports comprise 20% of all reported reactions appears to them to be some fabricated nuisance. It doesn't seem to occur to the FDA, that perhaps there is something badly wrong with this 'lovely safe' vaccine, which their crystal ball says will prevent your child from having cervical cancer, by the (average) age of 54.

Question: Are you telling me, I shouldn't trust the FDA, health authorities and governmental agencies?

Why would you want to trust anyone who tells you something ludicrous like, "Human papillomaviruses have a label on their foreheads saying 'No entry until sex'" when that is patently, proveably untrue? If FDA can spread such ridiculous comments world-wide, without corrective advice from the scientists who know that isn't true, why would the FDA (or silent scientists) bother with the'truth' when it came to anything else?

Question: So what do I do now?

I don't know. It's your choice. You could vaccinate your child, and see what happens. Does that sound like a good idea? If it doesn't, you better tell your child, because in some countries, they can be vaccinated without your consent!

Ok, Mzkitty2, I will give you the benefit of the doubt that you came to Avalon because you have an open mind. Most of the folks here are well aware of the fact that vaccines are bad news all around. Guardasil not only causes miscarraiges,birth defects, infertility, and even death, but MPV is a sexually transmitted virus, so why aren't they mandating BOYS to get the vaccine?????? Because boys don't have babies.
Also there are plenty of cures for cancer that are available besides mustard gas, oops I mean chemo , that are available to those open minded enough to find them. Granted, many sick people are not aware of these, but they are out there and the pharmaceutical companies are doing everything in their power to make these natural treatments unavailable, and un-advertised. I have had people very very close to me die because they had chemo, not because they had cancer.
I can't speak for every single person here, IMO the majority of us here at PA are huge advocates of non-pharmaceutical treatments for most illnesses.
There is alot of information available on this forum regarding treatments, and vaccine related information (the hazzards, etc). Anyway, my point was missed. I have had cancer 5 times. Two serious bouts. Breast cancer at the age of 37 (aggressive form) I DID NOT have chemo or radiation. At the age of 47 I had Stage III Melanoma. Again NO chemo or radiation! What I did have was surgery ( wide excision) and an experimental vaccine at Duke Hospital. If any of you know anything about melanoma you would know that it is pretty deadly. I have NEVER heard of anyone surviving it without surgical intervention.
I think that some of you have been very fortunate to have thus far been very healthy in your lives. Some of us have not, and through the advances of modern medicine I have the privilege to continue with my life and hope that if any of you in the future are unfortunate and get cancer that you will combine all resources available to give yourselves the best possible chance for survival.

(NaturalNews) Remember two years ago when every news show featured hysterical reports about the so-called H1N1 pandemic and how the supposed killer flu was striking down healthy kids? True, many previously healthy children became critically ill, developing severe pneumonia and respiratory failure. And some tragically died after being diagnosed with H1N1. But was that really the accurate explanation of what caused their death?

According to the largest nationwide investigation to date of the flu in children who became critically ill, scientists from Children's Hospital Boston have found another reason to explain the severity of the youngsters illness. It turns out that it most likely wasn't H1N1 alone that caused healthy children to become so ill many died.

Instead, these kids were unknowingly infected with something else. That additional infection, the superbug known as methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA), spiked the risk for flu-related deaths 8-fold in children who were otherwise believed to be totally healthy before they became ill.

Almost all of these children who were found to be infected with the superbug were immediately treated with vancomycin, considered to be best treatment for MRSA. Yet they died despite being administered this powerful antibiotic and their deaths were blamed on the flu. But the new research suggests it was the MRSA that played a huge role in killing these children.

"There's more risk for MRSA to become invasive in the presence of flu or other viruses," study leader Adrienne Randolph, MD, MsC, of the Division of Critical Care Medicine at Children's Hospital Boston. Said in a statement to the media. "These deaths in co-infected children are a warning sign." He added this is especially alarming given the rising rates of MRSA infections being carried widely among children.

"It is not common in the U.S. to lose a previously healthy child to pneumonia," Randolph said. "Unfortunately, these children had necrotizing pneumonia eating away at their tissue and killing off whole areas of the lung. They looked like immunocompromised patients in the way MRSA went through their body. It's not that flu alone can't kill - it can - but in most cases children with flu alone survived."

MRSA risk continues to spread
Sixty percent of the youngsters investigated for the new study already had sometimes serious health problems before contracting the flu. But of the 251 children (30 percent) previously healthy children included in the research, the only risk factor that was identified which likely contributed to their increased risk of dying was a diagnosis of a MRSA infection in the lung. The researchers expressed surprise that the antibiotic used to treat the MRSA-infected children didn't work and suggested the drug couldn't penetrate the lungs or the disease moved too rapidly.

Recent studies have shown a worrisome rise in the number of youngsters who are carriers of MRSA. A 2010 study published in Pediatrics found that the number of children hospitalized for MRSA infections increased from 2 in 1,000 admissions in 1999 to 21 in 1,000 admissions by 2008. The cause appears to be the never-ending and growing use of antibiotics in people and animals. "The more antibiotics we take, the more we colonize ourselves with antibiotic-resistant organisms such as MRSA," Randolph noted.

Curiously, the researchers are not emphasizing going after the cause and spread of MRSA infections as much as they are using their findings to push for flu shots. Their study, just published in the journal Pediatrics, promotes flu vaccination among all children aged 6 months and older.

FDA Panel Backs Giving HPV Vaccine Gardasil to Young Males

WEDNESDAY, Sept. 9 (HealthDay News) -- U.S. drug advisors recommended Wednesday that use of the vaccine Gardasil, already administered to help prevent cervical cancer in women, be expanded to help prevent genital warts in young males.

A U.S. Food and Drug Administration advisory panel voted to recommend the expanded use of the vaccine for males 9 to 26. The FDA is not required to follow its advisory panels' recommendations, but it typically does.

The vaccine targets the human papilloma virus, which can cause genital warts in both males and females, cervical cancer in women and also penile and anal cancer in men -- although these remain much rarer than cervical malignancies.

The vaccine is manufactured by drug maker Merck & Co.

Merck had asked the FDA to approve Gardasil for males ages 9 to 26. It is already approved in females 9 and older to help prevent cervical cancer.

Before the Gardasil vote, the committee on Wednesday also voted that a second HPV vaccine, GlaxoSmithKline's Cervarix, seems safe for girls and women ages 10 to 25 for the prevention of cervical cancer. Studies have shown that the vaccine prevents infection with HPV 93 percent of the time. The introduction of Cervarix was delayed in 2007 when the FDA said it needed more research on the vaccine.

The FDA advisors -- comprising the Vaccines and Related Biological Products Advisory Committee -- said Wednesday that newer studies suggest the Cervarix vaccine is safe, but they recommended follow-up studies to look for miscarriages and muscular problems reported by a small number of patients, the Associated Press reported.

The vote to expand the use of Gardasil to males was not unexpected among health experts.

"It is really hard to get a read on these things, but I don't think anybody is going to be shocked if eventually this is extended to boys, especially since the science is pretty solid here," Fred Wyand, a spokesman for the American Social Health Association, in Research Triangle Park, N.C., said before the vote.

"I would not be surprised at all if FDA approved the new indication," agreed Dr. Jonathan L. Temte, a professor of family medicine at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health in Madison.

Temte is also a voting member of the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention's Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP) and explained that if the FDA approves the new use for males, the CDC committee can expect to see the item on its agenda in October.

Health experts believe it makes sense to vaccinate boys against the HPV virus.

"We're supportive in general of giving vaccines to boys for a number of reasons," Wyand said. "Clinical trials have shown it's pretty effective -- 90 percent effective in preventing genital lesions [in boys]. Trials in a subset of gay men also found the vaccine to be effective in preventing external lesions, so the signs are pretty clear that it works in guys."

Vaccinating boys would help shield girls, too, the experts added.

"It's a sexually transmitted disease, and it takes two people to transmit the virus," said Dr. Jay Brooks, chairman of hematology/oncology at Ochsner Health System in Baton Rouge, La. "If the vaccine can reduce the risk of infection in men as well as women, then I believe it should be given to both men and women."

But Gardasil has generated controversy, especially with some conservatives and parents' rights groups who contend the vaccine could promote premarital sex.

Gardasil HPV vaccines found contaminated with recombinant DNA that persists in human blood

(NaturalNews) In seeking answers to why adolescent girls are suffering devastating health damage after being injected with HPV vaccines, SANE Vax, Inc decided to have vials of Gardasil tested in a laboratory. There, they found over a dozen Gardasil vaccine vials to be contaminated with rDNA of the Human Papillomavirus (HPV). The vials were purchased in the United States, Australia, New Zealand, Spain, Poland and France, indicating Gardasil contamination is a global phenomenon.

This means that adolescents who are injected with these vials are being contaminated with a biohazard -- the rDNA of HPV. In conducting the tests, Dr. Sin Hang Lee found rDNA from both HPV-11 and HPV-18, which were described as "firmly attached to the aluminum adjuvant."

That aluminum is also found in vaccines should be frightening all by itself, given that aluminum should never be injected into the human body (it's toxic when ingested, and it specifically damages the nervous system). With the added discovery that the aluminum adjuvant also carries rDNA fragments of two different strains of Human Papillomavirus, this now reaches the level of a dangerous biohazard -- something more like a biological weapon rather than anything resembling medicine.

rDNA found in Gardasil is genetically engineered

The rDNA that was found to be contaminating Gardasil is not "natural" rDNA from the HPV virus itself. Rather, it is a genetically engineered form of HPV genetic code that is added to the vaccines during their manufacture.

As Dr. Lee, the pathologist who ran the laboratory tests identifying the biohazard contamination of Gardasil said:

"Natural HPV DNA does not remain in the bloodstream for very long. However, the HPV DNA in Gardasil is not 'natural' DNA. It is a recombinant HPV DNA (rDNA) -- genetically engineered -- to be inserted into yeast cells for VLP (virus-like-particle) protein production. rDNA is known to behave differently from natural DNA. It may enter a human cell, especially in an inflammatory lesion caused by the effects of the aluminum adjuvant, via poorly understood mechanisms. Once a segment of recombinant DNA is inserted into a human cell, the consequences are hard to predict. It may be in the cell temporarily or stay there forever, with or without causing a mutation. Now the host cell contains human DNA as well as genetically engineered viral DNA."

What all this means is that through Gardasil vaccines, innocent young girls are being injected with the recombinant DNA of HPV, and that this biohazardous substance persists in their blood. The implications of this are rather scary, as Dr. Lee explains:

"Once a segment of recombinant DNA is inserted into a human cell, the consequences are hard to predict. It may be in the cell temporarily or stay there forever, with or without causing a mutation. Now the host cell contains human DNA as well as genetically engineered viral DNA."

The vaccine industry, of course, has a long and dark history of its vaccines being contaminated with cancer-causing viruses and other frightening contaminants. The American Academy of Pediatrics, whom we have previously criticized for industry ties, now says all boys between the ages of 11 and 12 should receive the HPV vaccine—the same one that has harmed so many girls. Action Alert!

During the Republican Party presidential debates, Michelle Bachman questioned the safety of this vaccine and was roundly ridiculed, especially by the media. Commentator after commentator noted that the government said this vaccine was safe. But let’s look at the facts.

No other vaccine lists and thereby acknowledges the serious side effects that the HPV vaccine does. One particularly alarming side effect, acknowledged by the manufacturer Merck even in advertisements, is the risk of seizure. Of the twelve other vaccines recommended by the CDC for children, only two—the controversial MMR combination vaccine and the HiB vaccine—list “seizure” as a safety concern. Pain at the injection site, headache, fever—these are fairly commonplace reactions. But none of the others has the acknowledged serious side effects that the HPV vaccine does. We are emphasizing these side effects (acknowledged in writing by the manufacturer) because Merck, the Centers for Disease Control, the Institute of Medicine, and the American Academy of Pediatrics all seem determined to stonewall and deny any significance to the 20,096 adverse events and 1,498 “serious adverse events” associated with the vaccine and reported by physicians. We reported on this sorry state of affairs a number of times last year, most recently in October. These adverse events include blood clots, the neurological disorder Guillain-Barre Syndrome, and death.

Our readers will note the irony of this. One reported adverse event for a supplement is enough to get the FDA’s full attention. But when it comes to drug and especially vaccine adverse events, everyone in government looks the other way.

Wouldn’t you think that 34 associated deaths (there were actually 71 deaths reported through September 15 of last year, but 37 of the reports didn’t have enough information for the report to be independently confirmed) would be worth looking into by somebody? But no. The official party line is that the adverse events are not peer-reviewed research and therefore may be ignored. And the government isn’t about to do any peer-reviewed research into this frightening data.

The American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) now recommends the HPV vaccine for boys aged 11 to 12. This mirrors a recommendation released last October by the CDC’s Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices.

This is truly Alice in Wonderland medicine, and can only be explained by close—indeed, tight—financial ties between vaccine makers, government, and researchers. To say that the HPV vaccine is of dubious benefit is really an understatement. Although touted as a cancer vaccine, it is still very possible to develop cervical and other cancers even after being vaccinated. As we noted last September, of the 100 different types of HPV, only fifteen might someday develop into cancer, the vaccine targets only two; moreover, the relationship between infection with HPV at a young age and later development of cancer is unknown. Of those fifteen potential cancer-causing strains, the vaccine targets only two, and the causal link between HPV and cervical cancer is far from definitive.

Unlike the HPV vaccine, other cancer prevention strategies are free or low-cost. The standard for cervical cancer screening, regular Pap smears, carries no side effects and when performed regularly can easily catch cervical cancer in time for a simple removal without complication. Women who have been vaccinated against HPV must still submit to regular Pap smears since the vaccine does not protect against all causes of cervical cancer. Most insurance plans cover an annual Pap smear, and programs funded by the National Breast and Cervical Cancer Early Detection Program offer free or low-cost Pap tests to women in need throughout the US.

Another really powerful prevention strategy is to eat cruciferous vegetables or take the supplement DIM (diindolylmethane, a plant compound found in cruciferous vegetables), as explained by Dr. Jonathan Wright in the December 2011 issue of his newsletter Nutrition and Healing. DIM may also be used therapeutically for those with cervical cancer or pre-cancer.

The most effective combination prevention strategy both for viruses and for cancer (and certainly for cancer-linked viruses) is to maintain optimal levels of vitamin D. Vitamin D comes from the sun for free, and vitamin D3 supplements are inexpensive. Most Americans are deficient in the vitamin.

Virginia is currently the only state requiring that all children be vaccinated with the HPV vaccine, and Virginia legislators have introduced a bill to repeal the HPV vaccine requirement—HB1112.

Please send a message to the American Academy of Pediatrics and the CDC denouncing their recommendations. Point out the major problems with the HPV vaccine—both its dangers and its ineffectiveness—and ask them to withdraw it from recommendation. Please keep in mind that these kinds of messages can also lay the groundwork for congressional or legal action.
