G'day Everyone,
Please read the following email that I received yesterday from Elaine Hollingsworth, the Director of the Hippocrates Health Centre, located in Queensland, Australia. The emails title is as it was when recieved.
MEDICAL INCOMPETENCE KILLED STEVE JOBS
Dear Tony,
It is as simple as that: One of the most brilliant minds of our century made a fatal mistake when choosing his doctor -- Dean Ornish, MD.
Ornish, infamous for pushing heavy grain consumption and soy on his patients, and denying them healthful fats, has been thoroughly discredited for decades. The evidence is conclusive: heavy grain consumption causes hypertrophy of the pancreas, as well as severe tissue degeneration, and can lead to the pancreatic cancer that brought Jobs down at the age of 56. And soy, as all my readers know, is deadly for the thyroid gland.
Don't let the Ornish diet bring you down, too, and please help others by forwarding this warning to your contacts. For free information on the dangers of grains, click here (http://webmail.bigpond.com/webedge/do/redirect?url=http%253A%252F%252Fdoctorsaredangerous.com%252FCampaignProcess.aspx%253FA%253DLink%2526 VID%253D4260599%2526KID%253D123510%2526LID%253D458004%2526O%253Dhttp%25253a%25252f%25252fdoctorsared angerous.com%25252fchapter-16-against-the-grain&hmac=7b58430cc41ec800c57aade79bfbc65f) to read AGAINST THE GRAIN, Chapter 16 of my book, TAKE CONTROL OF YOUR HEALTH AND ESCAPE THE SICKNESS INDUSTRY.

By posting this letter, I am not attempting to pass judgement on Dean Ornish, MD. The internet is currently awash with links to sites that detail the relationship between Jobs and Ornish, and all (that I have visited) are unrelated to the accusations made in Elaine's letter. If you are interested in the possibility that the treatment administered my Ornish contributed to Jobs death, please do your own research.
My primary incentive in posting this email is to highlight the dangers of soy products and a low consumption of fat in our diets. At least that is well established (though not known by most), rather than speculation. I offer the following on the subject of soy:
There remains only one safe way in which to consume soy, and that is non-GMO soy sauce, where the phytotoxins present in soy are broken down during the fermentation process.
I have friends who jumped onto the soy health kick many years ago, only to suffer undiagnosed thyroid damage and the resultant loss of weight control. For those of you who are not aware, the thyroid gland determines our basal metabolic rate, (BMR) which controls the rate at which fat is burned. The collapse of the thyroid results in a decreased BMR, and increased weight, for which gastric banding is becoming a commonplace treatment.
Please do everything you can to get soy out of your diet. Be aware that most breads, which for almost everyone is a dietary staple, contain soy flour. That wasn't in bread when I was a kid, and neither was our current rate of obesity. Read the contents labelling on your packaged foodstuffs: Soy flour, soy lecithin, soy by-products; this stuff is everywhere!
Making us all fat and sick makes big bucks for big pharma, and soy products are just one means of achieving this.
Stay well, enjoy a moderate amount of healthy fats, and give soy the flick,
Tony. :)

Fats are essential, but you need the right ones.
I take a good quality fish oil, evening primrose and flaxseed oil myself.
Soy - never did like the stuff myself,
soy milk always made me bloated.
It can also play with your estrogens,
being a phytoestrogen.
Those in the higher risk breast cancer group are also cautioned not to use it too much,
as some cancers are hormanally driven.
And most of the soy these days is GMO, so i stay away from it.
It's real stuggle to get non- GMO soy sauce even.
Not to mention the current radiation scares in Japan, where so many soy products come from.
I would love to make my own Miso Soups, but im a bit wary of the ingredients.
Interesting post, thanks.

G'day Astrid,
Hey, I used to take Queensland hemp oil until I got busted at work for too much THC in the viens, and I wasn't even stoned! Now it's fish, flax and borage seed oils.
As for non-GMO soy, point taken, and thank you! I'll go back and edit the post to read as such.
Thanks for the input. :)

Steve Jobs had pancreatic cancer. Eventually the tumours grew so that his breathing became compromised. He had already lived much longer than most people with the same condition. His health had been dire for a long while and there comes a time when death is inevitable. Are you suggesting that a different diet would have saved him? With this type of cancer cures are rare and Jobs did well to survive it as long as he did. He was able to choose his own doctor and was obviously happy with the treatment he had received. After all he had lasted longer than any one would have predicted.

Well, I don't know if the Ornish diet was part of his protocol but it is a death diet.
My understanding is that he used chemo.
that being said, yes, I consider his teatment criminal neglect.
He should have used enzyme therapy for pancreatic cancer along with
mms1 and mms2. as well as the budwig protocol.. which is huge on fats
that are properly treated for good assimilation in a compromised system.
I would have thrown in lugols iodine for good measure.
He may have been happy but that is the joy of the fool in regards to his medical care.
Above and beyond, I suspect it was his enlightened spirit that carried
him on as long as he did, not the treatment he received.

Coconut oil is another great fat source. I personally think one of the best! It contains lauric acid, which is a medium-chained fatty acid (MCFA) that is used for energy in the body instead of being stored as fat. Lauric acid is also a vital ingredient in mother's breast milk. The ratio of lauric acid to other MCFA's in breast milk is similar to that in coconut oil. Babies' immature immune systems are supported by the potent antimicrobial properties of this fatty acid.

On the contrary, Steve Jobs was given about 6 1/2 years longer than most pancreatic cancer patients due to the fact that he had extreme wealth and was able to obtain a new liver which is EXTREMELY rare for anyone with pancreatic cancer! Incompetence? No. Unethical? Perhaps...

I took the article in the opening post to be suggesting that it was a "different diet", namely Dean Ornish's recommendations, that was likely a key factor in his getting pancreatic cancer in the first place.

Thank-you very much, Providence, for posting that video.
It gave me a new perspective on an inner ear disease (Meniere's) that I've been tussling with for decades. It just might be, for me, one or two of the most valuable items I've ever found on this forum.

Evidently Steve Jobs was a vegetarian and raw food enthusiast. Even the name of his company (Apple) was because at the time he founded the company he was mostly eating fruit. Just the little reading I did his diet was very erratic and he at times would eat mostly one item. An example was he ate so many carrots during one period and little else that he turned slightly orange.
I am not going to draw any conclusions with this information regarding his pancreatic cancer but I do know that a “balanced” diet is essential as in all factors in our life . . . balance is primary.
Essential fatty acids and all other fats (in balance) are very important to proper function of our body systems. One fact I find fascinating and tragic is that when the medical industry starting insisting that we keep our bad cholesterol (LDL) around 100 and below that the rate of Alzheimer’s, dementia and other mental conditions shot up over 700%. This is because it is the “bad cholesterols” that feed and nourish the gray matter in our brains. Statin drugs that lower cholesterol are a multi-billion dollar for the pharmaceutical companies.
Astrid, I agree that gmo soy bean products are one of the grains that is highly dangerous and causing many of our diseases today, but I have to disagree that Japan is where we are getting these soy products. The genetically mutated (modified) soy beans are largely grown in the United States. Japan’s agriculture is very labor intensive and they farm very little of their land. The Japanese do not need to use herbicides or modified soy bean seed because of these growing practices. They actually use (for the most part) old heirloom varieties and standard seed that have been passed down for many years. These soy beans or edamame are not dangerous and do not contain the phytoestrogen effects of gmo-soy beans. Of course now with the radiation and most of their agricultural land being in the area of the destroyed nuclear plant even this food source is dangerous. Also I have read many posts here on PA that if you ferment soy beans that they are then “safe” . . . . .this is not true with gmo soy beans . . . .you cannot alter the genetic structure of anything by fermenting it . . . “chemical” structure yes but not the “genetic” structure. A gmo soy bean will always be mutant no matter what you do to it.
So did medical incompetence lead to Jobs death?? I don’t know . . .all we have is very circumstantial evidence from a very private brilliant individual. But the evidence we do have I would tend to lead towards a very eccentric diet of a very unconventional man could have contributed. It seems Steve Jobs did many things in his life full-tilt and to the extreme which created an incredibly brilliant industry and also could have contributed to his illness.
Balance can be a Bitch.

I was just wondering if any of you have given any thought that Steve Jobs may not have passed away? Steve was one of the riches guys in
the world and it would be quite easy with his extensive health problems to fake his own death! I am not saying this is the case! But Steve
had access to the Tptb And if he was not one of them, He most certainly had close ties with them!(just a random thought that is all!)

Guys, I can assure you, the diet did not kill him. Whatever is connected with cancer has an origin in our minds. The all external factors can influence up to 10% (in a case of severe intoxication etc) and please don't believe the statistics. I've studied it and I know that every statistic can be manipulated by will.
From the "New Medicine " point of view, pancreas is an organ which depends of our satisfactions in our life. By my opinion Steve had some severe deceptions over his life before the cancer and this is what it cause it. The liver cancer after that is just a "added emotional shock" when you are totally afraid for your life and this is as I know, normal, logical consequence or if you want, normal development in this fiels, always when the person is not working in a resolution of his internal (many times they even know they have them) problems.
GM soy is off course quite bad thing, but to provoke cancer, I would doubt it very much. we have to know that one of the most complex organisms in our planet is a human being. Not in a physical manner, but the power of mind is tremendous. And out of control or better said not in control yet. We are right now in a stage of evolution, where things are very out of balance. There are parts of our brain evolving more than the conscious mind can assimilate and the result is we are almost all very keen to do same very bad thing to ourselves (as a consequence of our belief system) and not so much good things. It would help a lot if we could raise our self estimate and starting to really love ourselves and as a consequence all others around us.

I didn't read the whole thread. But I too found his story (as told on 60 minutes this week) about him initially refusing surgery and then 9 months having it and the cancer had spread.
I guess what is missing is the real agenda behind 60 minutes in telling the story (fear mongering). If I had been looking after him I could tell you what was what. From the few facts mentioned, can't tell you anything (wasn't that their, BigPharms, point).

The story a friend told me is that he went the alternative medical route, but it did not work so he went to the mainstream medical treatment for help but it was to late - therefor he died because of this. This type of story could really turn people against all alternative medical options, and Steve would become a martyr for the AMA, and a witch hunt will ensue on all alternative practices. Media and PTB could really produce some serious fear, doubt and disbelief using a story like this. It's been done before, it can be done again, and I can see something like this being the start of a new campaign against alternative therapies.

Absolutley Jobs died from medical incompetence. Watch the movie called The Gereson Miracle... there they tell of two pancreatic cancer cures though the Gereson diet... Gereson therapy has been repressed in the USA. Jobs was a very ill advised man... such a shame.. I thought he was smarter... but obviously had no perception on health and how the human body works. If he did he would have taken his billions to the finest raw foods clinics to be found, mostly in Europe, that can provide other alternatives aside from diet as well.

Absolute incompetance. Cancer is cured frequently in the right clinics, even pancreatic cancer, even stage 4 cancer. He was ill advised by people who probably didnt really know what they were doing. If you have not cured pacnreatic cancer you shouldn't be telling people how to do it. He should have gone to where this disease is cured.

I just watched this movie a couple of days ago and I was very impressed. I am now going to share it with everyone I know. My best friend died from cancer - he was only 51 - I wish I knew about this kind of therapy at that time. I am amazed that it is illegal for an individual to get this type of treatment in the USA - even if this is the modality they choose - what a sham, and a shame.

It is not illegal to have this type of therapy in the USA. anyone can go to the Gerson Institute and be trained as a Gerson provider. It is illegal to claim that it will cure cancer. The Gerson institute can not claim cancer cure nor make a diagnosis... but they can relay their clients testimonials... and they do so repeatedly over time. Of course they take risks getting the word out. It has been repressed in that conventional medicine mocks the protocol and media does not support its work as they support phamaceutical companies... but of course if Gerson Inst. paid the media companies as the pharmaceutical companies do and ran extensive adverstising, perhaps they would.

Perhaps that is why they are outlawing holitic medicines in Europe. They have a higher percentage of cure?
US Pharma is trying to make you use their untested drugs. Their influence in the citizens health, has nothing to do with cures, but profit at the expense of side effect lawsuits within ten years.
If you can't trust the CDC with immunity shots, you certainly can't trust those who fund them for the medicines created for profit.

You have two options:
1. Start eating in McDonalds
2. Enrich your diet with a lot of proteins, they are building blocks of our muscular system, and if you want to gain weight in a healthy way, start to look what is good for you and not trying to lean on some remedies which are always only temporary solution. Building muscular mass will make you more keen to deal with life, you will gain self esteem and stat to believe in yourself. After that everything is done. Don't forget that we are who mold our bodies, there is no external force worth mentioning in it.

this is one of the best sources...www.tropicaltraditions.com You do not need to purchase the raw virigin organic if you dont like the taste of coconut. The expeller extracted is just as good, according to authorities on coconut oil.
To be organic it has to be certified but many palm plantations are organic but not certified. They require no pesticides or herbicides to grow well. Expeller pressed does not taste like coconut and is therefor good for many recipies.. I dont know if it will help you to gain weight. for many people it helps them to loose weight but perhaps by bringing in the correct fats you will gain... Just eat more salads... fresh and raw. The fats in coconut oil are essential for brain tissue.. and you can add flax seed oil also... but most weight gain comes not from fat consumption but by carb consumption. Add only the best carbs as in sprouted beans and Jarrow whey.. Do you have a medical condition?
And adding protein will help build muscle too.. and that is weight. I like the Atkins diet for general purposes.. but if your protein intake is high then you need to start adding healthy carbs until you start gaining weight. read the new edition of the Atkins Diet as well as "Protien Power" by Drs. Eades

I have wondered many times as to why Steve Jobs and all his wealth did not have high end help for his illness. It seems very strange indeed and i have been curious myself. Great Thread Indeed Heyoka. I have been researching many types of holistic treatments in cancers and diseases and Dr Max Gerson's therapy http://www.gerson.org makes perfect and clear sense to me. Was Jobs dissuaded in using this type of therapy and if he did get healed from it, would this cause the crumbling of The Medical Coverup of Cancer? I have asked myself this question many times with relations to Mr. Jobs. Because he was such a knowledgeable person and had many knowledgeable friends/influences in his network, again it seems truly odd that Steve Jobs with his money and intellect that somehow couldn't be directed to this Gerson treatment. Again i believe that he was shunned away from this and the ramifications that would arise if he was in fact healed holistically. This would be a huge win for the cure/treatment of holistic medicine if he used the gerson therapy im sure of. Here's The Video's peeps. PS I received awesome literature from Gerson.org and it was mailed to my residence in several days.

I am not going to make up facts and say all cancers get cured with such and such alternative treatment. Why? There are various cancers, some fast acting. You can get it and be dead in a few weeks time (has happened...I can give you a name). I take a look at the type of cancer and then see if a cure presents itself. Like my own cancer. I found it several times and in different places and used different strageties. Now I micro-manage my health so it is simpler each time it returns. Never went to a doctor (waste of space).

I suspect that almost any high profile outspoken person, once it is known they have a usually fatal disease, is simply not allowed to find an "alternative medicine" cure.
Can you imagine how much damage it would have done the "cancer industry" if Steve Jobs had been cured by (what they'd call) some "quack"?

I think Paul find a believable clue. The surrounding of the person, full of influence people is just like a wall againsT anything "non scientific". And the feeling of having a lot of cash is blinding a lot. It's just a natural logic, if it's good it has to be expensive and fancy.

Vibrations, I have been changing what I eat and how I digest. I began with re-affirming that I am doing my very best for myself (my physical body). So no negatively (please). When it comes to self awareness more than not a healer (as I feel you might have taken a few workshops about healing modalities...so I am adding some addictional information that isn't about this thread) will refuse to heal their own conditions as it is painful to see our creations (manifestations). They are a gift in a way as they direct us to where we are contracted, but refuse to see.
Hence I took a different tack (after failing to heal myself years ago...around 1995 with just Reiki and Crainial Sacral and herbs). I took the spiritual course direction which eventually freed me from my obsessive compulse behavior and freed me to work un-impinged on my own ill-ness (es).
After 15 years I can now say I heal myself (and others) well. Not perfect (that would be nice). But well.
I do see contributing factors. Salt, aluminimun, metal toxicity, and lesser so pesticides, cadimum, mercury, ....and the smallest amount of cancers, fungus, bacteria and so on. Even aspirin is bad. And all supplimentations eventually (as you clear up to your limits for this dimension). All I have to clear.
ANd certain foods, milk, wheat still I am the process of clearing (and looking at my addictions too).
You can't just heal because you want to. Unfortanetly. But we are getting better advice all the time how to. But discerning what works for each individual takes quite a bit of my time so for a long period I only healed one or two individuals before I would consider more (at one time). Now I heal groups (by moving away the factors they are holding onto...and freeing up karmic release mechanisms.).
Hope that helps.

I find Nutiva to be a good and economical brand:

I purchase the 2 pack of 54 oz and incorporate it into baking and other recipies. It is necessary to place the oil in a warm place to keep it in a liquid state (near a pilot light on the stove or a small crock pot on warm) in cooler climates. Liquification occurs at 76F degrees. It is cholesterol and trans-fat-free, non-hydrogenated, and contains 50% lauric acid for healthy metabolism.
Popcorn is especially good popped in coconut oil. :pop2:

Whilst it is a good idea to search for an answer to illness, the best we can really do is to try to keep as healthy as possible for each individual.
What I can't understand is the feeing here that Steve Jobs was hard done by. He used every avenue available to a very wealthy man and he beat the odds for this particular cancer. 5 years after diagnosis he was one of the 41% diagnosed who are still alive. He then had another 18 months of living, and seemed to be able to participate in life until near the end. We do not know what treatments he tried, but something was working for him. It could be that at the end he found some peace knowing he had done all he could.

There are actually 2 documentaries on netflix about it....and they have been shunned by big pharma.
Besides that, intent and belief is important...
Now that being said, his was probably too far developed. If I can't drink Soy milk, or regular milk, then what kind of milk should I drink?
Cottage, how do you pop popcorn in cocunut oil?

Watch the movie called The Gereson Miracle... there they tell of two pancreatic cancer cures though the Gereson diet... Gereson therapy has been repressed in the USA.
Can the Gerson Miracle be found online or Netflix?

Then why do they have to have their clinic in Mexico and not in the USA? From what I understand: The only legal way you can treat cancer in the US is by surgery, radiation and chemotherapy - all other treatments of cancer are illegal - hence, you must leave the country to be treated.

Because there in Mexico you can speak freely about what you are doing and not play games about it. They do have a center in San Diego.
You can have this type of therapy here but you are not free to speak and to say this can cure cancer and it seems to me that Gerson in the USA takes a lot of liberty and the FDA could come after them.
nearing.... the DVD can be viewed through Netflix

Gerson Diet:
I know there are clinics in Japan that offer the Gerson diet for cancer. They do admit it doesn't work every time. I would say it probably rarely works if not in conjunction with accupuncture and Chinese herbs (though there are some South American/mexico traditional treatments as well.....a mention is in Michael Tierra "Way of Herbs" book). And it is for certain cancers.
Coconut Oil:
I put two teasp. of the highest raw coconut oil (it is an inexpensive fat by the way) in specially prepared rice (high quality, usually white, organic, and I learned the japanese method of preparation so taste is improved too) once a day. Add stevia for a fun taste or make it a small meal ...like add welted spinach with dulse and/or yeast flakes (non GMO). Only way I can eat it. Of course someone without indigestion long term issues can eat it anyway they want. And even just take the capsules instead too.
Can't drink milk or soy?
There is hemp, almond, rice dream and so on. I cut down on my milk consumption (slow process as I don't care for the alternative either...I just keep getting loud and clear messages to not drink milk and soy gives me gas) and started cooking things that didn't need a milk. There is also some coconut milks now in the dairy section (next on my list to try myself). Good hunting and let us know what you find (anyone).

"The story a friend told me is that he went the alternative medical route, but it did not work so he went to the mainstream medical treatment for help but it was to late..."
Steve Jobs himself admitted that he in fact tried the alternative medical route for several months but his tumor continued to grow, that is when he decided to have the liver transplant. Obviously neither alternative nor mainstream medicine worked for him. We're all going to die of something, n'est pas?
