The threat of being co-opted is very real. We've been lucky with Occupy Sydney here in Australia that the very loud and very vocal minority of uber-revoluionary marxists' have been put in their place (thanks intelligence training! ;) ) Now they just look like this -

Individuals from political groups either right or left are welcome to have their say, but they do not speak for all or even most of us. Truly grassroots and truly awesome.

The MSM here has been all but ignoring it as well - which is strange since we've sent them all media releases.

At the end of the day we don't need the MSM. Each red dot on the map represents tens, thousands and in some cases hundreds of thousands of people. This level of coordination, friendship and unity has occurred simply from facebook, youtube, twitter, blogs, indy news sites, posters and flyers.

For instance, I'm liaising with people in Christchurch, Dunedin, Madrid, New York and Dallas, so all of that NLP-rich advertising the tech companies have been shoving down our throats for the past decade or so has inadvertently led directly to highly-distributed international networks of people who are sick and tired of being treated as a gravy train. Kinda poetic lol.

Okay, I understand what he's TRYING to say in this video, but HE'S missing the point about life. He was rude and didn't appreciate what others were doing for him. They were showing him kindness and sharing. And he ended up insulting them and devaluing their kind gestures. These people were NOT the system. They were fellow human beings under the same system he was complaining about.... He just doesn't get it, folks.....IMO :doh:

I don't think so. Dunno - anonymous is kind of hard to pin down because there seems to be so many different agendas between different groups. For instance I have ID'd no fewer than four separate factional groups within anonymous. Some are clearly anarchist-based, some are libertarian-based, some are left-wingers and others will just go along with anything that sounds fun or would do the most damage to the "system".

The NYSE "attack" was actually carried out on the 10th and resulted in a total of 33-35 minutes of disruption to the NYSE's public website. Because there is no central "command" structure within anonymous, it appears that the small number of those who carried out the DDOS attack were simply inspired by the youtube videos, and took action. Unfortunately, if they were not actual hackers who knew how to hide themselves, they stand a good chance of being tracked and traced due to the software they used to carry out the attacks. Another anonymous video warning that the NYSE "operation" was a hoax specifically warned people not to use the software recommended in the first video. I am still of the opinion that the NYSE operation was a false flag "call to arms". Most didn't fall for it.

I want to add that THIS movement is simply "part" of the Energy that is changing things right now...It is "one" of the major catalysts that are pulling together regular working people into loving action to really change things as the "upheaval" now takes place!

This will be upgraded to 'free' energy awareness and access, imho...as the awareness level of a core group of this movement is fully tuned in to the "hidden" agenda of the tptb around the world...especially regarding energy!

I think the whole point of ANONYMOUS is that no one and everyone is in charge. It goes to show that the protesters come from many walks of life....Wherever corruption is, people will use whatever abilities they have to get the work done. There's SO MUCH work to be done because the corruption is in everything.... Did keeping silent help anyone? Did politely protesting do anything? NO. So, now that the voices are protesting louder, TPTW have no choice but to listen. And they won't like it when it's THEM who stands to lose everything....

But if ANONYMOUS should be labelled anything, then it should be as a CONGLOMERATE OF FED UP PEOPLE who've withstood it for as long as they could. And now they want to do something about it....
