An Emergency alert was called earlier today in Genesee County NY for an airborne irratant.

Issued By: Genesee County Emergency Management Affected Jurisdictions: Genesee County Headline: UPDATE: UPDATE: UPDATE: This is an actual event due to an airborne irritant Effective at this time the NY Alert previously issued for Town of Batavia in the area bounded by Hartshorn/Powers Rd.,Stegman Rd.,Wortendyke Rd. and Pearl Street Rd is cancelled. Emergency crews have determined that the airborne irritant in the area has dissipated and it is now safe to resume normal activites Resume normal activities.
