That's an incredible video Horizons - thanks! I have listened to the segment with Art Bell three times now and it still moves me - almost to tears. I believe the caller was speaking the truth.

If that wasn't a genuine call it was the best acting job of a call I have heard.

if it is findable now. It's been a while since that call
was made.....

Well. That wasn't as hard to find as i thought.
I found two different video's here.

In the first video, the person that made it is claiming
the original caller was true but the person calling back
to the show, was a fake.

Or it was true, the caller through voice recognition software was triangulated, located, then the transmitter was closed down within two minutes? The transmitter shutting down, surely that is a large circumstantial piece in this puzzle? If we doubt the callers integrity as well as the one who called back in, then why believe whoever is claiming to have faked it? Very odd, from any angle.... N

I'm not judging anything here. I just layed out the information
that i knew about. You can draw your own conclusions.

The only weird part of the whole thing is that art said
that his satellite connection was down at the same time
the caller was cut off.

I think it sounds like the same guy in both calls (it's blatantly him when he does the same frantic call at the end of the 2nd clip) - but, yeah, why'd he take so long to call back? Maybe he saw how much the public were responding to it and felt pushed to put the record straight?
I thought it was real when I heard it, still has a resonance of truth to it imho. And the sat link going down is still very coincidental

Thanks for putting the video compliation together. Lots of interesting and maybe worrying visual things going on, you have to ask the question "what does it all mean"
