The live coverage in London has not been working since they filmed a couple of police women.... Mmmmm...
Anyway, just seen on twitter that Julian Assange is at the London protest wearing a mask and has just been arrested (14:00 GMT) by police and being refused a lawyer.
This may not be good for him personally because only this morning I saw on the news politicians saying they want to deport protesters - maybe Julian Assange has just fallen into their trap.
Police have now kettled all the protesters around St Paul's and making arrests.
My thoughts of love and courage go out to everyone who is protesting around the World this day! May the People be Heard!
[Update] Julian Assange was not arrested, this was a 'twitter rumour' - He made two speeches, see my posts below.

Julian Assange is at the London protest and is about to speak on St Paul's steps. Rumour about arrest untrue.
2.33pm Assange "we face systemised destruction of rule of law.. Money being laundered to evade the rule of law...

We have just come back from the protest. It was full of Socialist-Trotskites-up-the-workers-types, shouting at empty buildings and the police. To them it was just political thing, I heard the same thing 40 years ago.
They said, “The Tavistock are losing their power, we will win!” "Oh really?" I thought. Then more shouting....and getting the way of buses...? We had a coffee, and came home.

"This week Max Keiser and co-host, Stacy Herbert, talk about pirates and protesters and about ponzi schemes operated by Brooks Brothers Bolsheviks. In the second half of the show, Max Keiser interviews Michael W. Hudson about Countrywide's role in the subprime mortgage fraud that Obama's Justice Department refuses to prosecute."

Which part of the demo were you in? I understand there was a lot of activity in Cannon Street, as well as St Paul's.

St.Paul's. It was like a ban the bomb march....the bomb was never banned! We got lectured by some socialists, it seemed like they had hijacked their own protest. They just wanted to change the political system, not realising that those in the background do not care who is politically in charge.
As long as people keep over reacting those in the shadows are laughing!!!!!!!

Thats an unfortunate side effect to living in a socialist country with a sense of entitlement. That is as imprisoning as the dis-empowerment it brings. You had coffee? Now thats just not British! ;)

Good turnout first day, I was there on the corner.
Under Section 60, during a demonstration, it's illegal to have your face
covered (if I had a baseball bat or a club-I'd agree). I thought I was at
- Carnival.
Just pray/ hope we keep the protest (non violent civil disobedience)
'MOMENTUM' (electro-motive-force)...happening.
I noticed that the Police were having none of it, so we'll need to turn the over
cheek...Hug-a-policeman.

...we'll just pull up stumps and move onto another,
pitch/ paddock.
Three judges to take a decision, sounds a little 'FIXED' ..
