Don't know what to make out of this? Swedsh radio has actually reported on pple in Libya loving Khaddaffi, does that mean everbody was OK during his regime? Isn't the truth somewhere in between?

There is never complete support from the people for any regime. It was the majority of the Libyan people who supported Khaddaffi. It was the banks and Western powers (CIA, MI6) whose eyes were on taking over Libyan everything. Libya owed not a penny to the IMF. That, together with selling Libyan oil to Africa in exchange for gold, rather than the dollar, is what set the western powers in the Libyan direction to rape Libya of its wealth. Khaddaffi would not kow tow to the western powers, which upset them enormously.
