"Taken on Monday afternoon, 10-17-2011, in Harlem, the video shows a man stabbing a homeless man in the neck as cops look on. They will beat peaceful protesters yet do almost nothing when someone is being stabbed."

Figures.
Real violence and they don't know what to do.
Great protectors.
Not.

This clip is too short. From what I saw, the cops were trying to stop this. People are never satisfied. If the cops get aggressive it's abusive. "Gee, he only has a tiny knife, why'd they have to get so violent." Or "He was already injured and now because of what this thug cops did, it caused more injury...." It looked like they guy was already down and probably stabbed or the two had been fighting over the knife. I really can't tell, but it's not like the cops just ignored the situation which from the title of this thread I thought was the case. Glad I watched the video.

I think the the footage and what the onlookers were saying and the alarm in their voices says it all, really. The cops were useless in the situation, failing in their duty.

In the meantime, some poor sod got tasered because he didn't comply with an order from deputy stalin.
The thing is, it is hard to judge the situation as you say, however, those cops wouldn't win the fastest moving cop in the galaxy award.
Not in this life, anyways.
