"United States Marine Corps. Sgt. Shamar Thomas from Roosevelt, NY went toe to toe with the New York Police Department. An activist in the Occupy Wall Street movement, Thomas voiced his opinions of the NYPD police brutality that had and has been plaguing the #OWS movement.

Thomas is a Marine Veteran (2 tours in Iraq), he currently plays amateur football and is in college.

not that I agree with everything dallasgoldbug at wellaware1.com says,but he has an interesting vid in regard to this.
He points out quite shocking similarities between protesters on the brooklyn bridge and the cops in the above video.
He also tries to point out a man who resembles the marine in the above video,which I dont really believe.
WHy dont I really believe it is an actor?
Because they interviewed said marine on tv after the event.
If he really is an actor that is taking quite a risk.......so I dont believe the marine is not a marine......but.......oh the seeds of doubt.......
