"There's growing international pressure for an investigation into exactly how Libya's ousted dictator Moammar Gaddafi died. The UN expressed concern over video footage taken following his capture which shows Gaddafi taken alive, before he was killed. Meanwhile, NATO said it's winding down its bombing campaign in the country. London-based journalist and author Afshin Rattansi says that killing Colonel Gaddafi is an international crime."

"I am a British citizen living in Scotland and I am soo ashamed at how this whole sham justice came to pass...Ghadaffi was no angel.. but like everyone he deserved a fair trial in the Hague... bloody hell even the Nazis were given trials in Nuremberg!! USA,Britain,France, Italy and all Nato accomplices hang your heads in shame ...shame for the murder you have propogated in the name of so called "Western Justice"

It's no surprise or mystery, a mob of rebels captured him, who with no real chain of command, and wanting blood, did what they wanted. hey presto...
I would have been more surprised if he had lived to tell the tale.

The point is, that the situation where the rebels got their hands on him was essentially bought about by non-Libyans

He Deserved Exactly what he Got. Sometimes 'Compensation' does not seem to work. But In his case it was well served. Foolish collective bleeding hearts have little place in Terrorism. We need waste no time and money with Brutal Bullies. Especially ones who murder & tourture Thousands. Petty Tyrants all.

I thank God he suffered and was put to death. He should have suffered ALOT more. Justice was done. It doesn't takes a Brain Surgeon to see what he deserved. Our prisons are full of innocent people, Who Had Trials. What a Sham and a waste of funds. There ought to be a 'Tech' in use, that would out Lying bastards and they should be quickly dealt with. There should be No innocents in jail and the Guilty should summarily dealt with. With all possible speed.

efields, with respect, what goes around comes around, even thoughts.

So, who do you mean? Could you possibly be talking about Blair, Bush, Obama, etc., who have killed many more than Gaddafi was ever capable of? The world would be a better place if some of our media conspirators and some of our believers in our so-called democracy would get their heads out of the clouds and see the reality that we face daily.

NATO is winding down its bombing campaign.... What needs to happen now is NATO being held accountable for this illegal attack....Not get away with it again....

Eugene, you need to find out about two things and quick.
The law of attraction and the rule of three.
Wishing things like this on anyone is undoing yourself bigtime.

efields, I gave Thanks for your post above not because I agree with it, but because you have a right to your opinion here.

I put the Gaddafis of this world in the same pot with thousands of others who are no better and no worse. When I think about these thousands, I would LOVE for them to be removed from this Earth as they continue to do everything in their power to cause ruin and destruction and death and mayhem. How should they be removed from this Earth for the betterment of the Earth and humanity? THAT is the question.

I believe that we are eternal beings and that death as we know it, has no power over us. But who or what, has the authority to decide which of us should be removed by death from this Earth and which of us should remain?

The Controllers, as I call them, genuinely believe that they are in the right. They absolutely believe that what they are doing to humans and the Earth is the right thing.....for them and for theirs. This is the point of contention. They want to remove most of the human population from the face of this Earth so that they can ultimately control the remaining population, of their choice, and rebuild the Earth and rule the Earth and the remaining inhabitants. So, how do we deal with these? Those who are working toward peaceful solutions would love to see these Controllers change toward peace. Most of these won't. We want these gone. They want us gone. Who is right and who is wrong?

International community?. Community= "A body of people having rights and interests for the common good." Libya is also a part of the international community. Libya is a beautiful country with high standards of living, education and free healthcare. Systematically destroyed in the same way as Iraq. Discover how much the international community was needed, Google.... Libya 360degrees green square July 21st 2011, Well done Muammar Gaddafi. Goodnight god bless.

For anything to change we must lead by example

If we keep on acting in this way; arbitarily killing each other, there will be no way forward

We need to show the World the right way to do things which is to be fair.

One man's truth is another man's lie, history has a way of bringing out the truth. He may have done evil things but as people of faith it was up to us to forgive; but where do you draw the line between justice and mercy.

In ALL religions, I think, God says justice is mine. Therefore, we do not have the right to murder for whatever reason.

Hey there SteelFoundation. You have been sucked in by the media who portrayed Gaddafi as a despot. The reality is he was no better or worse than Bush, Obama or many other "world leaders". The rest is propaganda.

And pray tell me what other leader ran a debt free nation?
And tell me what other leader gave every married couple $50,000 towards the purchase of a new home?
And what other leader was about to scrap selling his oil for U.S. Dollars and go with the Gold Dinar?
I don't suppose that last one had anything to do with his demise, would it?

Well, starting from our humane values as registered in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, we should all be denouncing what happened to the man.

For some reason however, we allow a multiple rapist, murderer, serial killer, whatever, the right to a fair trial, but cheers went around while Khaddafi was being dragged around by the hair only to be killed brutally shortly after. The exposition of his decaying body was the topping for those only too happy to finally see him dead. Going by my readings that's about the majority of this planet.

I mean, come on, how more hypocrite can it get?

Justice should be done in some form of court with verdicts based upon some form of scripture introduced and or supported by the local citizens.
