There is definitely a buildup of UFO sightings from all around the world, and contrary to what Hoagland says, I don't think they can all be "ours".

But I think he's correct in asserting that we're being "marketed" an alien attack scenario, but it could come in any form, even supposedly "friendlies" (all created here on Earth) who could then do a gradual "V"-type take over, in typical Nazi fashion (they are already doing it). But I certainly don't doubt that the "real ones" will show when planet Earth gets its act together.

(I mean, would you want to land in what is effectively a "War Zone Planet" and end up on some dissection table??). We have a history of attacking alien craft that stretches back to Roswell. Not a particularly friendly thing to do! ;) Until a much larger proportion of the population is ready, our petty conflicts have ended and we start doing the "right things" - politically, spiritually, & start using free energy instead of fossil fuels, REALLY start using the wasted money on eradicating disease and poverty, and become globally cooperative instead of competitive, I'm with Edgar Mitchell... the "real ones" will show when the time is right.

I can't remember where I read this but if there was a "fake" alien invasion it would be on tv. If it was real, all the technology would go dead, even we know how to use EMPs. Besides, what could aliens possibly want with our planet? Everyday, astronomers are finding more and more planets that are similar to ours. Our planet is not unique. The best line in that crap movie Avatar was...."we don't have anything they want? What? Lite beer and blue jeans?
