The meditation section down in groups, has just reached the 'end of the beginning'. It is a simple step by step guide to meditation.
The next stage is the 'beginning of the end'.
There two aspects here :
The first is that to continue, one has to be a mediation practitioner. This is because we are entering the area of actual experience, as opposed to speculation and theory.
The second aspect is that of temperament and choice. This will depend on how you feel about your journey on your path. Traditional paths have differences, there are slight nuances that can cause some conflict in an individual, as terminology may be used differently. So it is best if you stick to one system, and then maybe change if it suits.
I can only help from a practising Tibetan Buddhist perspective, and even that is in the Nyingma tradition, and even in that, the Dzogchen tradition. I have no authority to teach, so the next stage is for you to find a teacher or a group. I am just a doorman. If you would like to know more P.M me.
We can still chat!
