Ever wonder why NASA have never shown us clear pictures of the Moon, when they can show us crystal clear images of distant galaxies? JAXA (Japan's Space Agency), governed by the US Government through NASA, provide this footage.
The same 45% over-contrasted affect can be applied to still images as well.

Thanks for sharing KiwiElf. I wanted to learn more so followed the link and noticed the upload was in 2009 so I searched for anything new from JAXA. I couldn't find any recent so searched for anything that the Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter might have found. This was an interesting clip of some monolithic structures poking out of a crater on the backside of the moon. And they sure seem to be taking their time releasing images from the LRO...

I understand your good intentions Kiwi, but a 240p video which was n-times resaved is absolutely without value for any serious evaluation. And the increased contrast in major cases destroys details, just make bright tones brighter and dark tone darker, showing the extremes. I think there is no doubt there are tons of artificial structures, our bases, et bases old and new ships all over the moon, but the real shock would be if someone in a proper place would smuggle out some real HD footage and public it. Until than this videos only create insecurity, because there are not real proof and we all feel that it is much more behind.
