I was moved to start this thread whilst perusing the thread on the volcanic activity on the island of El Hierro, in the Canaries.

http://projectavalon.net/forum4/showthread.php?30888-After-tirelessly-updating-Avalon-for-weeks...it-s-official-evacuation-is-in-progress

The thread has been ongoing since September (I think) and I was just amazed at the amount of work one particular person had contributed. I was going to add a post to that effect, and then realised the thread woyuld probably vanish, and the person's contribution go unnoticed. So I decided to start a new thread, and think it would be nice if anyone else felt moved to praise a member for their contributions, they can do so here.

So here goes - on the above mentioned thread, Amzer Zo has provided a wealth of information, posting on an almost daily basis. I'm gobsmacked at the amount of work put in. So thanks !!!

marifposafe, i agree. Amzer Zo has contributed so much and has aided randles immensely. i am glad that there are so many people here at avalon that have taken their time to help others in distress. it does my heart good to know that this community will stand behind each other in a time of crisis. thank you for the thread.

I agree.
That feeling of camaraderie is excellent and on many occasions, we have seen a heap of avalonuggets pull together for a common goal.
Keep up the good work nuggets, Uncle Sidious is proud of you.

Maybe. :p

I totally agree, certain individuals here are in it for the long haul, giving out news as it happens. There will always be an event out there that we will need to know of. This is a place to find the news that others are not telling us. I appreciate all the information, humor, caring, thoughtfulness and love that abounds at Project Avalon. Keep up the good work and a big heartfelt THANK YOU!

I echo each and every sentiment.
I too visit the thread daily and would like to commend Amzer zo for staying factual and to the point.
What a great comfort for those in need of information.
Well done, Amzer zo!!! http://i51.tinypic.com/5vox95.gif

But....
I have absolute admiration and a deep respect for randles for staying so calm and keeping light-hearted in what must surely be a difficult situation.
Here is someone who is physically living thorugh this, feeling it in every cell of her body and yet always comes on with a cheery "good morning" and a couple of jokes, keeping her spirits uplifted.

Thank you randles. :thank_you2:

May everything turn out for the good, for you randles, for your family and all who are affected by the volcanic activity. :grouphug:
