A random thought popped into my head for some reason from somewhere... Does anyone else think that the building in London colloquially called "The Gherkin" may actually be a representation of or inspired by the pineal gland in the brain....?

This building looks kind of phallic to me but I can also see the pineal gland being a possibility. The City of London is set up or planned in an occult manner. Certain shapes represent different esoteric concepts. Many occult beliefs dictate that physical objects must be arrayed in a given pattern. The 911 and 7/7 attacks may have both been associated with occult alignments. The ancient Roman Axis of Londoninium (London center stone) is in the modern City of London. We all know that the City of London is not part of Britain and is home to the most powerful banking interests in the world today. I read once that when one is referring to the "Crown" in Britain it means the City of London and not the Queen. To all U.K.'ers: is this true?

The City of London is steeped in history. I have heard stories about the Queen's real wealth versus the relatively modest assumed wealth.
By tradition, the Queen does not have a right of free passage to cross the City of London boundary without express permission from the Lord Mayor. Appearances can be deceptive so who really is charge I have no firm idea.

I tend to agree with the essence of what you've said, in that the "reality show" we live every day is probably very different in actuality. I get the sense that regardless of how one thinks about "TPTB", they put a lot of effort & credence into their ceremonies & rituals, and they're very big on "pomp & circumstance" for want of a better expression. And whilst the flag-waving Royalists can always be found at official public Royal ceremonies with big soppy grins on their faces, the ceremonies themselves whilst appearing quaint and harmless I suspect are anything but in a lot of cases.
I just wonder what they're meant to achieve.
