FYI:
"A 5.7-magnitute earthquake has rocked the province of Van in eastern Turkey, killing at least seven people and leaving scores of people under debris, Press TV reports.
At least 18 buildings, including two hotels, collapsed, killing at least seven people and trapping over 50 more under the debris, Press TV's Ankara correspondent reported.
The quake struck at 21:23 p.m. local time (1923 GMT) on Wednesday.
The collapsed hotels in Van were mainly occupied by local and international journalists covering the aftermath of last month's quake in the same region that killed over 600 people.
Most of the collapsed structures in the province of Van had been damaged during October's 7.2-magnitude quake.
The search and rescue teams that were sent to the area immediately after the quake have so far managed to pull out three dead bodies.
Rescuers climbed onto piles of twisted steel and blocks of concrete in an attempt to find survivors.
According to Turkish media, some people trapped under the debris were crying for help, and at least 10 were saved by rescuers.
The epicenter of the earthquake was in the town of Edremit, where no damage was reported.
About 1,400 aftershocks have reportedly jolted the region since the massive earthquake on October 23, which left thousands homeless."
