Oh I hope he's right, and will be looking a little later to see if I can see it myself :) If so, exciting times!

Itīs most probably a star out of focus, which makes its perceivable light to grow bigger.
If there really was something that big, that close to the sun, we would all see it from everywhere in the world, not just from one location.
Cameras have problem focusing on really bright objects, like the sun.

I do not lie....I saw this same thing last night at dusk and did a double take to make sure I was really seeing what I thought I was. I was out and about without a camera.

It is very strange that you can see this in some parts of the country and other areas you cannot ... ?!!
Kathy see if you can take a couple of piccies next time ... would be great if we could have someone here that has witnessed this...

So what would be the exact time folks have seen this , im talking about ppl here in Eastern north America , im in province of Quebec (nearest U.S would be New England , NY state ,new hampshire ) , . im just trying to be prescise as to the angles of the sun and what not , every location on earth sees the sun and stars from a slightly different location in the sky , so maybe ppl on the south west u.s coast may see it but not us here up north , i know at the present moment 10.58am EST i cannot see it
Past 3-4ish the sun goes down Very quickly here and do not have a good view of the Sunset here in Drummondville Qc
