Question to Avalon - polio, tetanus and diphteria vaccines

I have a question for the Avalon Community. Your input on this is very much valued and welcomed.

My grandson, now 4 1/2, did not get any vaccines. He has a very good health for which we are grateful. The family will travel a lot, for now they go to relatively "safe places". Dad is peruvian, so they will go to Peru and other south american countries. The only reason they have not gone yet is because they want his immune system to be stronger.

Both parents have read a lot on the subject of vaccines, went to conferences, etc. Here's the question. My daughter wishes for him to have the polio, tetanus and diphteria vaccines - it is a "gut feeling" she has. She has consulted many homeopathic specialists on the subject and most agree that if they are going to travel a lot, he should have these three vaccines. Dad is more against it. They do want to find more information to help them with their choice. The only motivation here is the well-being of my grandson. The doctor told them he could have vaccines without any adjuvant.

I personally am against vaccines. When I had my daughter, we did not have all the information we have today and they were not vaccinating as much either. I cannot know what I would have decided for my daughter if I had known what I know today...

I told them I would put the question out in Avalon to help them with their decision.

Gee Samsara, that has been one of my doubts about this vaccines issue. I stopped vaccinating my girls years ago so their official vaccination card is incomplete. Fortunately they dont have any consecuences, but now every time there is a new vaccine we stay away of it, but Polio is an interrogant to me, I am waiting for our avalonian partners to comment in your threath, thanks for bringing this out.

I believe you can get homepathic remedies to counteract the negative side effects of the vaccines. You can also follow a homepathic schedule of vaccinations.

I haven't vaccinated my own son (who is 3.5 yrs) he was breastfed until 2.75 yrs. Whooping cough has become more prevalent of late but it concerns me that the vaccine doesn't always cover the current strain. I have done some reading which shows that the strain is mutating (a bit like the flu and flu shot, the flu shot doesn't cover all strains of flu just what they think will be the main strain) There is also the issue that vaccination does not equal immunisation and this vaccine is said to be anywhere from 80% to 60% uptake rate.

In saying all this I am seriously considering vaccinating him because I do believe now that he is older his body is stronger to combat some of the bad side effects. He is a bush boy and there is a risk of tetanus. I am vaccinated against tetanus so why wouldn't I want my son :confused: argh... it is a minefield but now that he is older I am learning towards selected vaccination. My mum is a reiki master and has had to have some compulsory vaccination, she was able to hold onto the vials of vaccination and sent them reiki to negate the 'poison' as she called it.

Sorry if that hasn't helped, it's simply my point of view.

just to clarify in australia the whooping cough vaccine is in the same shot as tetanus and diptheria hence why I was discussing whooping cough as well.

There has been a great deal of controversy over the vaccine for whopping cough as far back as the 70’s and as a result; my children were not vaccinated for it.
My Mother, who actually had whopping cough as a child, recalled it as being a miserable experience, but not a life threatening one.

Right now in the US there is a big televised push on for adults to be vaccinated for it…it is being claimed that adults could be carriers and give the illness to their children.

That’s one hell of a red flag to my mind.

We are a society of world travelers today and as such are exposed to many different things that are not part of our own environment. I remember as a child being told to never drink the water in Mexico and to never drink out of a stream. Of course it was ok to eat dirt. There is always a risk that you could contract something but does that outweigh the risk of possible permanent damage from a “required” vaccine. Using your mothers intuition is going to let you know what to do, do not go by what they tell you.

The most concern is related to the intent of the manufacturer of the vaccine. After having watched many documentaries and read many articles I'm fairly certain that there is an agenda that is contrary to good health. The manufacturers have been caught putting cancer cells, sterilization agents, and other pathogens (not to mention the poisons they actually admit to) into the vaccine! So, it's not just that they are not safe. They may be made with ill intent.
