Watching the Mcrib commercial made me feel like I was missing out on something big. To counter the Pavlov like affect from the add I decided to find out what was in them. Ignorance is bliss... so maybe if you eat them you probably don't want to know so take a pass on this vid.

Even if they were 100% real, I do not know what is so appetizing about intercostal muscle tissue. BTW, intercostal muscles are the muscles between each rib. They come in pairs one inhales and the other exhales. Intercostal means, "between ribs". Costal is the latin or medical term connotating 'rib'.
I can only wonder what a greedy psychopathic corporation chooses to feed the suckers that plunk down hard earned fake money for fake food that is probably excreted/extruded out of a tube or bag like the stuff at taco bell.
In the interests of full disclosure let me identify myself as a sucker who will on occasion plunk down my fake money for an excreted 7 layer burrito or a bean one. I always ask myself why I did after eating it and sometimes while eating it.
Even imagined hunger will make you do strange things. I say imagined because I am about 10 pounds overweight. Hard to be truly 'hungry' when you have 10 pounds of stored food on your frame.

Thanks for that M'lord. While you were posting that I was writing my post about 'foodstuff' coming out of a tube like you picture it. They should hand out toilet paper instead of napkins by the looks of things.

I have only recently discovered organic eating, a little over a year.
By contrast, I stopped eating taco bell about six years ago. I just can not digest their food. Last I heard, taco bell led all fast foods in the preservatives department, and I believe it.
I really can not digest their food.
Mcdonalds has always seemed like the second worst. I love the Mcnugget paste shown by Sid. Good stuff.

I've been an organic veggie eater for 20+ years now. Taco Bell always produces indigestion. I had quality Mexican food 2x a week where I lived for the past 6 months. Made fresh in the kitchen there. Only 5 months and 2 weeks until I am back.
Good for you going organic. Good for every part of the equation. It has been my health insurance. Better than doctors.

Well I suppose if you really crave fast food you could go on MMS for 6 months. Jim Humble used to say that MMS would clean out toxins in your body to the point that your reaction to toxin containing foods would be nill, just as in your teens and 20s... LOL.
As for me, I have been an organic food consumer for about 60 years now. The exception is when I've gone out to eat at a restaurant where they serve real food. Here is a fun story about that which occurred to me about 3 years ago.
I was out of town and decided to eat at a clean looking restaurant. They gave me the menu, however it seemed that it was written in some strange foreign language and I could not read it. The person I was with whispered, let's get out of here, the energy is not good. I left and we walked to a little hole-in-the wall owned by a private person. In this new place the tables were old and worn, but the menu was in English and easy to read (LOL). As I read the menu the firm knowing came to me as follows..... The reason I couldn't read the menu at the other chain restaurant was that they did not use real food, however the little family restaurant did. So the energy of the menu was aligned with the food it was describing. I had been reading the energy, instead of the words, which is why nothing was legible at the first restaurant.

Chek out this experiment on McDonald's food, it's as fascinating as it is disgusting. By the way, I just got four clear jars yesterday from a neighbor to do this experiment myself, but minus the sandwiches. I'm just going to do it with four different kinds of fries. One from McDonalds, the thick cut kind from Wendy's, then at home making one batch from a store bought bag of frozen fries, and one batch made from a fresh potato.
I'll get back with ya in about 10 weeks or so.

Someone? There are problems in some sectors, but by their fruits you will know them. Pun totally intended. Cut two tomatoes in half, one organic and the other grown with synthetics and I will tell you which one is the organic one. Strawberries are also very easy.
I don't know who your 'someone' is, but you seem to value their opinion. I do not know how to proceed here other than to continue on my path. Perhaps a different someone will tell you an alternative opinion at some point.

I purchased a new variety of "organic" apple from NZ sorry I can't remember the name but it tasted like sawdust. I took a bite and for some reason was called away so I left it on the counter for about fifteen minutes when I came back it was still the same color as when I left it so I thought since it tasted awful I would just leave it there to see how long it took to start to turn a little brown. Two days and then I tossed it. It would seem the only uncompromised food is food you grown yourself. Best Wishes

I have two apple trees on my property. The apples are small but so high in iron content that they begin to turn brown almost instantly. They taste good too. Wasn't always that way. A few years ago I put in new windows and the counter weights for the old ones were lying around. The weights were bolts of cast iron. Well ,I took for of them and just dropped them on the ground around the trees so they could rust and get into the ground. Now I have tasty apples that are loaded with iron.
Organic is another thing that has been appropriated by government agencies.
Just a short amount of time ago, organic was self certifying and was great. In USA the USDA got involved to redefine what 'certified organic' was to let big agribusinesses get some of that sweet premium price the organic farmers were getting. The big boys had all trashed their farms decades ago with fake fertilizers, herbicides and other poisons. There are still good organic farms with good practices, but even they can cut corners with the new rules, if they want to. A lot of the smaller farms still grow produce a real farmer, not a businessman, can be proud of. I tend to smell my produce. If I can tell what fruit or vegetable it is by the smell, I know it will be decent tasting, which is Natures way of telling you it will be nutritious.

Yeah, homegrown is always the best. ;)
Sorry, couldn't help it - that was wayyyyy too good to pass up. Anyway, I am a pipe smoker. The store-bought tobaccos are full of chemical preservatives (PPG) and whatnot. I buy the bulk tobaccos from the local tobacco store or online. Bulk means no chemical preservatives.
Good for you? not really.
But it's better than adding more preservatives to my already less-than-ideal diet. I am, however, in the process of switching myself and my family to organics.
Back on topic - I do occasionally eat fast food, but find it less appealing these days, which is a good thing. I'm not a fan of McDonalds, but I do hit Burger King on occasion. Not any healthier i'm sure, but hey - no one is perfect.

The average time for storage of fruit and veg in freezers in the warehouses is nine months.

A few years ago, a group of Italian scientists decided to do some investigation into the ingredients used by McDonald's. They identified all the ingredients except one: the substance that binds the burgers together. As far as they were concerned this substance did not exist on this Earth! The interesting thing is that in Italy they generally have very high standards regulating food and if anything odd is found, the Caribinieri (police) will confiscate it and destroy it all. Needless to say, they did nothing in this case despite it being in the national papers! Shows how powerful McDonald's is!

Its time to change the way we eat ASAP. I'm sure the pharmaceutical companies truly value and appreciate these fast food franchises. It keeps them funded financially forever. As long as it does not say 100% on the lable or adverts. They can use a filler,,
you'll have to trust me when I say Mc D's has been sued before for claiming 100 % beef in thier Big Mac adds, only to have an independent lab test the meat to find its 10% meel worm filler, they lost the lawsuit and stopped the filler in thier beef products way back in the early 80's. Now its just grade F assorted parts used for fillers.

the interesting thing about preservatives is that they preserve... by killing life.
so....we eat the 'food', full of stuff...that is specifically designed...to..in minute quantity level dosing..to...kill all life it encounters.
An example is that one time, I was in the factory of my business partner. He has barrels of biocides and fungicides. These are essentially 'preservatives'.
His is for non organic non consumable products. Nothing to do with food. however, the list of fungicides and biocides for food... is not all that different. I was in the factory area and I went by a barrel of the stuff, presumably. I ended up with the tiniest bit of a liquid on a finger, the index finger, on the side, at the top joint. I wiped this very small bit of liquid off, like one would normally wipe it off, on my pant leg or shirt or such.
That patch of skin died off and that spot opened up after a few days...and would not heal from being an open wound.. for 6 months. Not even a drop of the stuff, just a super thin film, in an area as small as a drop. And nothing could live there, or grow..for 6 months.
basically, preservatives --are life killers. low level dosage -life killers. That is their job.
You'd better believe that stuff in the barrels is handled very carefully. full face long mask/visor, glasses underneath, past the elbow rubber gloves, and a full body apron. One drop of it..and....

OMG Lord, I'm printing that pic of the mc, nugget and hanging it on the wall. I cut down eating fast food 95% about 3 years ago when I ran into a body builder on a plane . I was dealing a bit with high blood pressure, he told me stop consuming pop/soda, no brown liquors,no deep fried foods, and no fast food. I did that for 4 months and went to the docs and she asked me what have I been doing because she wanted to put me on blood pressure pills . I told her what I stopped consuming and she said my blood pressure was perfectly normal , couldn't believe it. Since then I've been fairly good but once and a while I'll hit a fast food, I did try that mc rib , first and last time, it was actually a breakfeast pork sausage smoothered in bar-b-q sauce. You know, back to the Mcrib thing, I've never tried one. I won't claim benedictine type behavior as far as the rest of the fast food fare is concerned, but pork is a different matter when your talking fast food.
Pigs are a fairly intelligent animal.
For all intents and purposes, they are as smart or smarter than a dog.
This coupled with the horrors I have witnessed in connection to raising "pork", I won't support that industry.
I've seen videos on how pork is raised. I've seen cages stacked on top of one another, small cages where these pigs live their whole life, while fecal matter falls through the cages to the pigs in cages below.
