...ascension is not an "event" but an on-going process? What if humanity's "rising above" is a personal journey or individual evolution whereby we rise above pettiness, greed, selfishness and just become a more spiritual, more compassionate person? Maybe we're missing the "point" of centuries of teachings/writings/intuitions. Maybe we're wasting time waiting for something to occur that could really begin right now.

I'll admit for myself I'm losing faith in expecting any future "event" that may or may not occur. I do keep reminding myself faith is not "being sure"...it's really "not being sure". I'm tired of "watching the skies" and I'm tired of "looking within". I may change my mind tomorrow but for today I just want to love more and live more and take things one day at a time. If we're changed in the "twinkling of an eye" ...so be it...and if we're not....no worries.

I came to Avalon looking for answers...I haven't found any...have actually found more questions. I am very glad, however, I did find all of you. Please keep bearing with me.

Wise words indeed - I found myself agreeing with every sentence - I too am tired of waiting for 'something' to happen - perhaps it already is and we just don't recognize it ...

Love and peace to you. JP

Well, for me, ascension is the journey toward the holy grail.
And that is an individual thing, there is no physical object.
So, I agree with your post.

We are all changing our way of thinking about how we view the world, how we treat each other, the animals, food, etc etc.. it is happening today.

Same feeling as you kathiemarie, I want to live and love more.

Little by little we will change for a better way of thinking and living.

Waiting, in a time of urges, might not, afterall, be a good idea...

I believe in ascension through co-creation, through living, thriving, sharing, caring. Are we so much better than the last generations that we deserve what is commonly thought to be ascension and they didnt ? What have we accomplished that would justify such a preferential treatment ? Just because we'd live in the right times ..? Nonsense really.

I completely agree with your post kathymarie. Many times lately I feel there is such a difference among people. I think some are in their individual accension process and some are mired in the ways of the world. I watch some people and wonder how they can think and do the things they do and then have to edit my thinking and stop judging...knowing that we each have to grow at our own pace.
