View Full Version : Amazingly simple tool for seeing Auras [Gypsy's Tables of Chartres]

Just stumbled across this, tried it, blew my mind.

This is a meditation technique, a tool for training mind and perception which has been passed on from generation to generation in secret by French gypsies, and which we teach to all our students.

Looking at the coloured shapes (left) with crossed eyes puts the mind in an extremely alert state, balances hemispheric dominances and leads to highly unusual states of perception. While the gaze is resting motionless on the “Tables”, the mind can roam freely and gain introspective insights that our everyday consciousness can hardly ever access.

With this technique you can refine his sensory perception, consciously establish your hemispheric balance, and often enough clearly (and calmly) observe emerging content of the subconscious. A dramatic and lasting improvement of the eyesight is usual.

During the meditation the coloured shapes shown on the left (two rows of Tables arranged vertically) serve as an anchor for the eyes and the mind. The eyes look at the Tables in an unusual way: the right eye looks at the left row of Tables, the left one at the right row. In order to do this the eyes must be crossed slightly (a finger held up at half distance can serve as a “crutch”).

By looking at them with crossed eyes a third (virtual) row of Tables becomes visible between the original two. It is on this central row of Tables that the eyes are brought to rest during meditation. This central row will have a fuchsia color!

We have been experimenting a lot with those tables, and many of our students practice it every day. It increases the ability of working with radionics in an impressive way.

Cool. I don't get a fucshia center column - but the objects in the center change from blue to red about every 4 seconds and independantly of each other. The fact that they do this independently goes against all expectations as the colour switch is merely the mind placing more emphasis on the left eye or right eye's signal (as indicated one eye will be looking at one colour), so this means my mind is also placing emphasis on certain parts ("pixels") of the image my eyes are seeing independantly as well. Neat to know. ;)

Thanks for posting. This seems like the same process that brings out the hidden image in magic eye pictures. I wonder if it might be better to print in out...as staring so intnsely at a computer screen might not be the best for our eyes...surely that's not how the gypsies did it... lol.

Thanks again

Thanks nonprophet. That's very cool. I can make the third "virtual" column of shapes appear all blue, all red, all fucshia or any combination of those three colours. That's a left brain/right brain thing.

I stumbled across something similar a few months ago - eye exercises to help learn how to see auras. It's worth reading and trying.

But the cool part is the combinations of colours on the objects independently -- this means that our brains can pick and choose what parts of the image from each eye is being interpreted by the left or right brain independently - this is much more complex than what I ever thought about what side of the brain interprets what and when. For this adds a level of complexity to they way the brain functions between it's left and right sides that at least I had no idea about.

If you put some smoke from incense or cigarettes between yourself and the screen, you should be able to see, while focusing on the center-shape, that the smoke appears to be floating behind the third shape, as if the shape is "hanging in the air".

Wow. Thanks to you for posting this thread and to the Gypsies! It's wonderful! We are told now to go into a neutral position (out of dark/light and so forth) and I think this is involved here with the left/right brain and vision. It seems to be creating this other aspect to choose from in the center ~ this could also touch upon duality issues and getting clear of them by manifesting the center images as if they were the "neutral" position we are to seek now. Many thanks for bringing this to our attention. It's great stuff! And also for the other links. xoxox

Wow, this is cool.

The ones in the middle go a darker colour and the outside ones dissapeare alternately.

I have been perceiving auras visually since almost ten years to different degrees and apart from sudden increases in the ability to do so of different origins (eg: after my first Kung Fu training, after a basic Qi Gong exercise, after LSD [not recommendable for repeated use IMO!]) this is the most effective exercise I've come across so far.

I get the fuchsia coloumn, but it's hard to fix on it, pretty much in the same way, as holding a weight up is hard, after some time I got to let go, then do it again, flexing the muscle becoming stronger.

Thanks a lot!

(until I get to print that, this is gonna be my desktop wallpaper :biggrin1:)

I came across this old thread today. I looked at the image. After two-three minutes, I started to see a beautiful blue glow surrounding the geometrical figures. I am used to this kind of exercises, but this one has surprised me nicely.

Thanks for bumping this thread... never saw it before...

I ran into those "Tables" when reading Pierre Derlon's books.

The "Tables" are called "Les Tables de Chartres" since they are scale-models of the Chartres Cathedral's designs:

... one of which being its famous Labyrinth:

The catch with those "Tables" is that they are of equal areas, the rectangle is a "square" rectangle, i.e. made up of two juxtaposed squares; and the area is a scale down model of the ground area of the Great Pyramid...

Pierre Derlon advises to "look" (superimpose visually as in a stereo vision (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stereoscopy#Freeviewing)) at these tables within the enclosure of a personalized "garden" delimited by a thread of purple wool and built to one's own dimension, i.e. the measurement unit of the "garden" is the distance between two foot steps measure when running on a beach/field at age 7... hence the dimension of the "garden" as a "square" rectangle of 1 x 2 units length. One sits in one of the square which is also delimited / separated from the other square - where the "Tables" are placed - by a purple wool thread.

... powerful stuff! And the basis for Derlon's "Voyage Au Delà du Mental" experiences/book.

PS: Forgot a detail: The "garden" long axis is orientated magnetic North-South... best to built it with a compass :) (known as the "pocket watch (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pocket_watch) with soldered arms" by the Gypsies of that time :))

Original illustration from Pierre Derlon's book

PPS: If built on a lawn... the grass is "combed" along the magnetic orientation as well...

Hervé,

What an interesting info! I certainly would like to try this...

Lilac chaser. Stare at center point and see a chartreuse ball chasing the lilac--then perhaps the lilac vanishes altogether (there is no chartreuse ball, the actual graphic is only a blank spot).

These kinds of things are valid techniques and have been practiced as "yantra" for ages in the east. If you do these things, you may well find it starts working on human beings as well! Some people don't exactly like to be stared at, but it could be developed to the extent that it just happens without any unusual effort.

The sacred geometry, significance of colors, etc. gets pretty complicated, but almost anything can be used for the visual exercises. First I've heard about the Gypsies and the floor plan of Chartres, nice work.

So happens with trataka, a form of yantra (high concentration at an object), where the object is a candle flame.

If you like this kind of exercises, try to watch at a mirror in the same way (fixed, crossed eyes) and wait patiently to see the results. The more you practice and the longer you stare at it, the bigger the surprises...

Can anybody else see 4 shapes? I noticed after doing the exercise for a bit, I could make it go from 3 to 4.. And making it go from 2 to 3 became effortless.

Here is another one that goes often with the one in the first post... enjoy
