Indeed it was a bunch of Shyte. Totally Agree With You On this.
An Excerpt from the page: Proclaimed a holiday in 1863 by Abraham Lincoln, this fairy tale of a feast was allowed to exist in the American imagination pretty much untouched until 1970
This I found shocking: By the mid 1630s, a new group of 700 even holier Europeans calling themselves Puritans had arrived on 11 ships and settled in Boston-which only served to accelerate the brutality against the Indians.
In one incident around 1637, a force of whites trapped some seven hundred Pequot Indians, mostly women, children, and the elderly, near the mouth of the Mystic River. Englishman John Mason attacked the Indian camp with "fire, sword, blunderbuss, and tomahawk." Only a handful escaped and few prisoners were taken-to the apparent delight of the Europeans:
To see them frying in the fire, and the streams of their blood quenching the same, and the stench was horrible; but the victory seemed a sweet sacrifice, and they gave praise thereof to God. ~Sounds like a reptillian, elite event here peeps~

Time to leave this shytehole of a country, its truly time. What lies and deceit our corrupted school system pulled over our eyes. Well to make anything good out of Thanksgiving, at least we get to spend time with our family, that's the only positive.

Glad to see there are some people who see through the hypocrisy of this festival. Rather than give my own personal rant, I'll post the thoughts of America's finest writer - Mark Twain :-
"Thanksgiving Day, a function which originated in New England two or three centuries ago when those people recognized that they really had something to be thankful for--annually, not oftener--if they had succeeded in exterminating their neighbors, the Indians, during the previous twelve months instead of getting exterminated by their neighbors, the Indians. Thanksgiving Day became a habit, for the reason that in the course of time, as the years drifted on, it was perceived that the exterminating had ceased to be mutual and was all on the white man's side, consequently on the Lord's side; hence it was proper to thank the Lord for it and extend the usual annual compliments."

The entire story of white settlement of Turtle Island is bound with slaughter and praising God for it. The main thing white's brought to this continent was a level of brutality never witnessed before by natives. They had wars, but that was warrior against warrior. Whites slaughtered everybody when they attacked, women, children, infirm, it didn't matter. We brought genocide to warfare.
We also brought disease. Everyone knows about the black plague that killed 35% of Europe, but the epidemics that swept north america after Columbus arrived decimated 95% of the native population. When the pilgrims arrived at Plymouth rock entire villages with crops planted had been wiped out with nobody even left to bury the dead. The pilgrims saw it as an act of divine grace that growing crops were there when they landed and gave thanks to God for killing all the natives.
