I'm not entirely sure if this is the proper place for this kind of thread but I'll throw it out there regardless and if not someone can kindly move it to the appropriate place. Me and my father were outside last weekend, and we heard this outrageously loud rumbling/growling/groaning noise, that lasted nearly 4minutes. If I had heard this myself I wouldve probably passed it off as some kind of psychosis or something, heh. But we both heard it, at first we both just kinda were like meh, but after it about 30seconds it peaked both our curiosities, it was loud, was very textured, very low, and seemed undirectional. What I mean by that is we couldn't figure out from which direction it was emanating from, or whether it was coming from below or above, we kept looking around for something to explain this, no plane hovering above us, no smoke plumes in the distance nothing. It was highly unusual, my father has worked in construction, and we are both aware of most noises around here, from engine breaks, to rolling thunder, to explosions in the distance, and trains resonating. We live outside the city, there is no construction at all that we're aware of that could have possibly made such a reverberation that we can think of. I had no idea that other people around the world were experiencing this same thing, if I had I would have ran back inside to grab my sampler and took a high quality sampling of this. I've done some spectral analysis of the Montreal sample, and cleaned it up, isolated some frequencies, and the repetitions seem to be different each time, both in length and intensity, there also seems to be a metallic nature to it that is sort of hard to hear, I didnt hear it myself nor did I notice it till I listened closely.
I'm not at all implying this is alien in nature, a geological explanation seems to me far more logical. I've posted this on a few other forums and its amazing to me how many other people have heard this very same thing within the past two months, and the phenomenon seems to have started in early sept. All reporting very loud deep growling with a unique texture that seems to last a long time and is hard to pinpoint in direction. Some have experienced this as long as 40mins, and some have heard it while driving on the highway it was so loud.
The video that fits our noise quite well is this one from Montreal recorded in sept

Not sure where you're located, but if it's in the Florida region, it might be easily explained.

Nope, live in Wisconsin near the 45th parallel. Around this same time, there were reports in southern Wisconsin, northern Illinois, and Chicago.

All right! This strange sound stuff is my expertise. Iīve heard it a lot, many times, mostly at night, early this year, but I donīt hear it for a couple of months.
Here are some videos of similar sounds here in Brazil:

And this is an audio recording of the exact window rattling sound Iīve heard many times (This is not my recording, itīs made in England):

And another one in Denmark:

Do you have any high quality samplings? I have quite alot of experience in sound engineering and would love do some real analysis of some samplings with more information then of that I can get off of a youtube video.

Toad, Iīve tried to record this noise many times with my cell phone, but I couldnīt get a decent sample as well.
Iīve heard it many times, mostly around 0:00 and 03:00 am. Itīs a very strange low pitched resonating sound, that really made my bedroomīs windows rattle.
The noises Iīve heard are very very similar to the "Weird Noise South East England August 24th 2011 (Audio Only)" video I posted above.
I wasnīt alone as well. My girlfriend was the first to hear it, around March; I remember she put me on the phone and I could hear the noise trough it. Then, I started hearing it alone, many times. Then me and my girlfriend heard it together, more than once.
Always the same sound, variable in volume, same low pitch, very resonating inside rooms. I could hear it better from my bedroom than from outside the house.
My cellphone could not record the sound itself, only the sounds of the rambling windows. I guess the noise was to low in pitch for cheap cellphone microphones.
Cheers,
Raf.

I was checking into the video recordings of those strange sounds being recorded around the world when David Wilcock came out with those reports of TPTW underground cities being emptied. Still no 3rd article from DW which he said he is working on. I'm sure these sounds will be part of his new report, although he indicated he would have confirmation from his info sources as to the veracity of the claims about the cities.
Those sounds seem artificial to me, though, not geological.

We have noises like that occasionally. Every now and again I'll go off walking in the direction it seems to be coming from, but no luck yet... unless, of course, I was kidnapped and replaced by a big 12-foot reptile and I just haven't noticed yet ;-)

Lately I've been hearing a soft intermittant tone that sounds like the sort of noise you get when you blow air over the neck of a bottle. It would be about a C on the musical scale, quite pleasant really. The funny thing is it seems to be coming from the trees, and if I stop and listen for it, it stops....
Nothing nefarious I'd say... If anything, I'd hazard a guess in my case that the trees are calling out to me? In any case, I'm actually beginning to like the sound, I think the trees are happy :)

Very interesting phenomena, tbh I'm at a loss. And I agree it doesn't sound geological to me, HAARP maybe??

Heh, you ever seen the movie "Yellow brick road"? Perhaps this is the product of some malevolent entity trying to call us in.

Wow what an eerie , dark noise , something out of War of the Worlds when the Tripods are coming out of the ground and are starting engine warm up heheheeh , thats the first things that came to mind . Very strange indeed ,
As for the Montreal,Qc CANADA video , I live nearby in Drummondville,Qc , approx 75km away never heard this sound
Ive read a theory about atmospheric compression compression creating earthquakes (caused by all the solar flares and strange sun activity of late) , can we try and locate these sounds with maybe an atmospheric compression/earthquake happening not too far away within a certain time frame ??? Just an idea
