A Weird Thing Happened Last Night...

So I was up late, working on a new piece of art and ended up going to bed around 1am. As I walked up the stairs and passed my son's room, there was a bright flash of bluish-white light outside. I immediately went into his room and looked out the window. I saw nothing out of the ordinary and heard no thunder. I was up for about another half an hour and waited to see if there was flash. It was raining slightly. I chocked it up to a weird flash of lightning and went to bed.

It may have been something of esoteric origin, or more mundanely lightning as you say, or possibly the lights of a passing emergency vehicle...

I'm going with a flash of lightning, (just to put my head striaght). It wasn't emergency lights from a passing vehicle as my son's window does not fact the street and they were not multicolored lights, nor flashing. Just one big bright light then nothing. It was bright.

Anyway, if I'm up tonight, I'll see if it happens again.

The colour of bluish-white light is often associated with MiB, for example, as being the colour of a flash of light in which the car or MiB themselves disappear or appear, it's also often the colour reported illuminating the inside of the cars, and so on.

I used to see this kind of thing quite often over the woods behind the place where I grew up. Mom said it was just "summer lightning" whatever that meant, but there was never any thunder.

I saw something similar as a kid too. Lit up the entire sky from behind a large hill near our house.

I was out playing in the street with some friends (this was in the middle of nowhere so playing in the street was ok :P) and it was dark outside then the entire sky was neon blue for about 2 seconds and gone.
