Interesting talk on the coming economical collapse and the importance of boredom...
The guy seems to pretend to know when & how things will happen, that we can't negate reality, ... Don't know about that, but his views on the collapse and what can broaden our perception on things are very inspiring.
So what's it all about?
What's the purpose of existence? To negate reality... But can it be negated?
If we realise we can't negate it, we can change our attitude... we can change the dance.
The dance will only be changed out of boredom with the old dance. From the moment you invest time and interest in the old dance by giving importance to it, therefore making it 'interesting', the old dance remains danced.
But the boredom (of reality) is what scares us, so we don't think about a new dance.

Pretty interesting, but it's hard for me to look at reality/the world as being boring... Maybe the overwhelmingly materialistic matrix we/tptb constructed is boring, I agree there, but interacting with the world from the heart seems vivid to me, far from boring.
I can dig his story from a mental perspective. The boredom could be replaced by the Buddhist concept of 'emptiness' (which most don't like to face either).
My believe and at times experience is that from the moment we perceive reality from a multidimensional viewpoint (mind, heart, gut, ...) there's no such thing as boredom, emptiness or any other concept... there's all of it and nothing coexisting on the waves of existence.
Kudos,
