Do we call them The Powers That Be or The Powers That Were. I like to use TPTW, because
thoughts and words are powerful. But if it's only wishful thinking it's not in line with reality. If they
are able to start World War 3 we can talk about looking inside ourselves, but we can't stop them.
Only if all people wake up we all know it's actually committing suicide by starting WW3, because
there are no real enemies in the world. I thought some one from the mods came with another
name, so maybe we can use that instead of TPTB and TPTW. Of course the real power lies within,
but as long as the biggest part of the world stays asleep something big has to happen for a positive
change to see in the world.

I have a plethora of names for them - alas, none suitable to post here ...

I like to think of them in the past. TPTWere. Gone. Finito. Finished. Out of here! No more power!
That's the power of thought. Say it out loud and that's the Power of the Spoken Word. Give them no power with thoughts. Take away their power just as easily with positive affirmations.

They know that their horrors floods the mass consciousness with negativity. But it works both ways. We can undo it, by flooding it with love, light and neutralizing their powers with OUR words (as long as they're stated positively and lovingly)....
I know, it's hard to love these guys, but ....

I voted "other" -- I call 'em The Bastards in Power (TBiP's), which can also be said as the Bastards In Power (the bips).

Words are important, but the thoughts behind them are even more so.

If you are clear what your relationship is with the "TPTB concept" then words don't matter as much. If you use TPTW words to stick your head in the sand... well...

TBip, as Paul calls them, are getting vast (really vast!) support from willing people like you and me :) (most of them are in denial and very few are happy to help).

So where really is the power then? I hope I won't derail this thread, but TPTW are here because we still allow them. I am looking hard to see this changing...

Privately I refer to them as megalomaniac psychopaths but here I go for

Pauls suggestion.

Maybe we can make it into a catchy tune and it'll stick in people's minds and they'll keep singing it, making it happen....

La, La, La, TPTWere
They'll be gone like a blurr....
La, La, La....

When I refer to them I call them TPTB or the so-called elite because that's what most people understand. Saying TPTW is a fairly recent fad and I almost always resist participating in popular fads. When someone says TPTB or TPTW it doesn't hold any power to make them more or less powerful unless you insist on believing that your words convey more or less power upon them. When I communicate I don't care what is popular or faddish, I consider what will be most understandable to the most people. In fact, saying TPTW may give them MORE importance and power because you are trying so hard to disempower them which may mean you accept that they have more power than they really do. Going along with the common definition that most people understand is not bringing more importance to them, it is just describing them in the commonly known definition.

Go ahead. Make my day. Just use the * and it will be obvious without
really posting words like F***ing Psychopaths, Zionists Bast*rds or
F***ed Up Murd*rers. BTW, I've chosen TPTW.

You described exactly why I started this thread in the first place. In particular the bold line.
That's the reason behind this thread. Like you can read my thoughts without me writing
them down in the first post. Everytime I write TPTW it doesn't feel right. Because of you
I understand the reason behind it. Like Meeradas (http://projectavalon.net/forum4/showthread.php?32889-Why-

The Greedy and the Loveless - pretty much sums them up.

I prefer The Powers That Were; at worst, it's just a little premature.

Ha ha - The words I had in mind were possibly much worse than you can imagine ... JP

P.S. No amount of asterisks would do them any justice!

Unfortunately those words completely miss the pathology and bile evoked by their actions. Steam comes out of my ears when I ponder their deeds. The words to describe them should have the ability to 'get some on you' so you feel the need to wash afterward.

Toilet bowl offerings might work. Flush and wave good bye. TPTW.

I woke up this morning and took a nice steaming rothschild. I like the sound of that.
